This is the one-hundred fourth chapter in the Pokemon Heroes story. The three part season finale starts now. Enjoy!

(Opening song)

Ash has been training vigorously with Lnoki for the past two days. At first, when he started training with Lnoki, he felt like he was in hell. He couldn't move his body at all everyday. Everytime he moved one of his limbs, he felt like it would snap off, but not today. Now, he enjoyed the training. He mastered things thanks to Lnoki, and he was eager to train with him every morning. Right now, he was on a branch looking out to the distance. All he could think about now was his friends. He wondered how they were doing.

"Yo, Ash!" yelled Drew underneath him. "Lnoki called for you about your training. He said it was very important." Ash got down from the tree and followed Drew to Lnoki, who was making tea for himself.

"What do you want from me this time?" asked Ash. "You told me you didn't want to do anything until later on."

"When I said that, I meant that I was thinking for these past few hours, but now I've come to a decision," said Lnoki as he turned to Ash. "I want you to start fighting The Aura Beast today." If Ash had a heart, he would've been completely surprised.

"What?" he asked. "Already?"

"I figured that we should at least try now," said Lnoki. "I want you to try meditating right now to help your mind get prepared."

"Right now?" asked Ash.

"Yes," said Lnoki. "Now hurry up and sit on that rock. First, we meditate. Now get on the rock." Ash reluctantly nodded and walked towards the rock. Lnoki sat on a rock in front of him and started mediating.

"Don't let anything flood your mind," said Lnoki. "Just let yourself be calm." Ash closed his eyes and started meditating. While he did, an image suddenly came to his mind of Brendan standing in front of Lee and Riku through someone's eyes. He felt the emotions of the person, and felt worry and fright. Ash quickly opened his eyes and looked towards the sun. He usually only had that while dreaming.

"Focus, boy," said Lnoki.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," said Ash as he went back to meditating.

That Time

Brendan stared at Lee, who had a determined expression on his face. Riku stood in the background and watched as Dawn and May watched from a distance behind a rock. Lee spread out his arms to Brendan.

"Well," said Lee, "come and get it."

"Fine," said Brendan as he tossed the Pokeball, releasing Aggron and Mightyena to be by his side.

"Pokemon again?" asked Lee. "What about using your fists for once rather than me beating your Pokemon to a pulp?"

"Aggron, use Hyper Beam on that man!" ordered Brendan. Aggron shot the ray of light at Lee, who easily dodged the attack like he always does.

"Mightyena, use Headbutt!" ordered Brendan. Mightyena charged at Lee and head butted the man to the ground. He quickly got to his feet and looked at Mightyena surprisingly. He smirked.

"You must've been up all night thinking of a plan to kick my ass, weren't you?" asked Lee. "Smart kid. I don't care if Pokemon are here or not. I'll kill them and then head for you. He quickly dashed for Brendan, but Aggron jumped in front of Brendan and used its hard body to block the man's attack, but scratch marks were left on its body. It used its head to ram into Lee's head, but Lee's regained himself quickly and jumped over Aggron and went for Brendan, delivering a powerful punch on his face that blew the boy back to a rock that shattered in pieces. Lee started laughing out loud. Dawn and May watched in horror. Dawn started to come out of their hiding spot, but she was stopped by May. May didn't say anything. She just stared. Lee started to walk towards Brendan's body.

"You really screwed up in that fight, didn't you?" asked Lee. Aggron tried to use headbutt on Lee, but he got out of the way. Mightyena used Shadow Ball at him as well, but he blocked it with his arms, but the force of the attack tore off his sleeves. He stared at it, and then looked sternly at the Pokemon.

"Okay, now I'm mad," said Lee, and he jumped towards the Pokemon and started fighting them. Lee was overpowering them, but the Pokemon stood strong. They had to protect their trainer. As they fought, Dawn looked towards Brendan. He was knocked out. She felt like waking him up, but decided against it. She was going to do it when the time was right. At the moment though, Brendan was dreaming of something. He was dreaming about that time.

Flashback

"And that is how a Pikachu can beat an Onix," said a young Brendan in front of the class with a smile. The boy was eight years old. He had the Pokemon School blue uniform on. The only thing that made him different from the way he is now would be his hair. His hair was not white and spiky at all. It was black and smooth. He also didn't have his headband on. The whole class was looking at him with surprised expressions on each of their faces. The male teacher face-palmed and looked at Brendan.

"Brendan, I'm glad you understand the weaknesses of a Rock-Type, but a Pikachu cannot learn Hydro Pump or a Solar Beam to defeat an Onix."

"It's possible if you teach it," countered Brendan.

"But you can't."

"How do you know that?"

"Because I'm a teacher."

"Not doing a good job at it, aren't you?"

"Go sit down," ordered the teacher angrily. Brendan sighed and walked to his seat. After he sat down, the teacher proceeded with the class.

"He knows I'm right," said Brendan as he walked on the sidewalk towards his house in Twinleaf Town. He had his friend named Tom by his side. Tom wore the same clothes, yet had long brown hair that might mistake him for a girl.

"Your explanation about how strong a Pikachu gets was pretty out of whack," said Tom. "Maybe if you explained a strategy Pikachu could do to beat Onix, then the teacher could've accepted that."

"Forget about strategies," said Brendan. "All you need is power to win a Pokemon battle. Once my Aron evolves, we'll be entering Pokemon battles and beating everyone with our power."

"That's the type of stupidity that won't allow you to get a girlfriend," said Tom.

"Why the heck would I want a girlfriend?" asked Brendan. "The reason you can't get a girlfriend is because you look like a girl."

"My looks are just appealing!" yelled Tom. He stopped as they crossed by his house.

"This is my stop. I'll see you at school tomorrow."

"Alright," said Brendan. "See ya." Tom entered his house, and then Brendan sprinted for his. His house was only about two blocks away. When he got there, he immediately went in. An Aron jumped at him.

"Mom, Dad, I'm home," said Brendan. Brendan's mother, Elizabeth, popped out from the doorway leading to their kitchen. She had brown, flowing hair that went down to her shoulders. He had a pink shirt and a blue, long skirt. She had a blue hair clip in her hair. She smiled at her son when he came in.

"Hey, honey," said Elizabeth. "Go set your stuff down in your room. Dinner's almost ready." Brendan went upstairs to his room and put his stuff on his bed. He had wallpapers all over the wall featuring his favorite Pokemon trainer Palmer. After waiting for about an hour, his mom called him down to dinner. When he sat down, he prepared to eat, but his mother stopped him.

"We have to wait for your father," said Elizabeth. "He just came home. Jonathan, are you done yet?"

"Almost," said Jonathan as he walked into the dining room. He was a tall, built man. He had on a green shirt that revealed his muscles and a green vest that went over it. He had on dark green baggy pants. His face showed a radiant smile. His one remarking feature was his white, spiky hair. He placed his hand on his son's head.

"What took you so long?" asked Brendan.

"I had to take care of things regarding the dojo," said Jonathan as he sat down at the table.

"Alright, let's eat," said Elizabeth. As the family ate, Brendan told them stories of his adventures at school. After his mother was done, she went off to clean the dishes. Jonathan stayed where he was. He was an expert Pokemon trainer himself. He had a Pokemon dojo that he was in charge of, helping Pokemon and people build their strength and become stronger.

"...and then he said that wasn't possible for a Pikachu to learn Solarbeam and Hydro Pump," said Brendan. "I know I'm right."

"Well it is impossible, but if you train that Pikachu, then it can match up to the power of an Onix," said Jonathan.

"You agree with him?" asked Brendan. "All of you are so wrong." His father chuckled. Brendan stared at him while looking at the man's hair.

"Hey dad, I've been hearing that people dye their hair to make it a different color," said Brendan. "Why'd you dye your hair white? It makes you look old." Jonathan touched his hair, and then chuckled.

"No, no," said Jonathan. "I didn't dye it. It was naturally black, but it turned white."

"Hair can just change color?"

"Yeah, but it doesn't turn white when you're my age," said Jonathan. "It's The Inheritance."

"What's that?"

"You'll learn when you get older," said Jonathan. "For now, live life to the fullest. You won't have to worry about anything for a long time. By the way, when are you going to get a girlfriend?"

"Dad, girlfriends are disgusting," said Brendan. Jonathan and Elizabeth chuckled.

The next day, Brendan went back to school. It was like a normal school day where the teacher teaches students about Pokemon and strategies and weaknesses. During a break where the students get to play outside and enjoy their time, Brendan was resting by a tree. He enjoyed resting by this tree. It was a hot day that day, so he didn't feel like he should do anything. While he was sleeping, a hairbrush was thrown at his head.

"Who the heck threw this at me?" asked Brendan as he rubbed his head and looked around while holding the hairbrush. His gaze landed on a group of girls giggling.

"Sorry about that?" asked one girl. "We just wanted to test something."

"What test was that?" asked Brendan.

"Nothing important," they said as they walked away. One girl stayed behind. She watched her friends go and slowly walked over to Brendan without him noticing. She nervously smiled and tapped his shoulder, getting his attention.

"What?" asked Brendan.

"That's mine," answered the girl.

"Oh, so you're the one who threw this at me!"

"No, no," said the girl as she waved her hands around. "I didn't. It was a bet I did with my friends. Whoever lost got their hairbrush thrown at you."

"So it was planned."

The girl did nothing but silently look at Brendan. Brendan looked at the hairbrush and handed it to the girl. She took it and smiled. Brendan lied down by the tree once again as the girl walked away. She stopped and turned back to Brendan.

"My name is Dawn Blertz," said Dawn. Brendan boringly waved at her, and she walked away.

A couple days passed. Everyday, Brendan had been noticing changes in his father. He was acting strangely. One night, while Brendan came downstairs for a midnight snack, he heard his father and mother talking about moving. Jonathan sounded urgent. The next day, he learned it was canceled due to a problem with the moving people.

"I wonder what's going on between them," said Brendan as he walked with Tom home.

"Your father is always a busy guy," said Tom. "Maybe he's just got problems to take care of."

When Brendan came home that night, his mother was silent. It was late, and his father hadn't come home yet.

"Where's dad?" asked Brendan.

"H-He's out," said Elizabeth. "He's got important business to take care of. He won't be home tonight." It felt lonely without his father. His mother was mostly silent, always looking out the window. He went to bed that night. He wished for his father to be okay and drifted off to sleep.

And that was when it happened.

An explosion was heard coming from the other side of the house in the middle of the night. Brendan jolted up from his bed when the house shook. He looked around. He smelled fire.

"Mom!" yelled Brendan as he ran downstairs. He saw his mom trying to put out a fire with the fire extinguisher.

"Mom!" yelled Brendan again, getting his mother's attention. His mother faced him.

"Brendan, watch out!" yelled Elizabeth. Brendan thought she meant the fire, but when he turned, a man was standing behind him. That man immediately took him by the neck and jumped out of the house. Brendan heard his mother yell his name. He landed outside with the man. Brendan started to struggle around to get free, but the man held tightly.

"Calm down, kid," said the man. "I won't hurt you as long as you don't piss me off." Elizabeth walked out of the house and looked towards the man angrily.

"Give me back my son, you basterd!" yelled Elizabeth.

"The name's Lee, lady," said Lee. "I won't hurt him until you send out Jonathan."

"He's not here," said Elizabeth.

"I knew it. Fine, whatever. You better call him to get his ass over here, or else you risk me breaking your son's neck. I'll give you an hour."

"Mom!" yelled Brendan, now feeling frightened of the man.

"Leave him alone!" yelled Elizabeth.

"Sorry, but my definition of an hour is really short," said Lee. "Neck breaking time." He then felt something. He threw Brendan aside and jumped up into the air as he watched Jonathan run under him at max speed with his fist extended. When he stopped, the ground around Jonathan shook and his punch released a shockwave. Lee landed behind Jonathan and smiled.

"Yo, Riku, we've got him now," said Lee. Riku landed behind Lee. Lee still looked the same, but Riku's face was more revealed. He didn't have the huge piece of metal in front of his mouth. His voice was as deep as a normal man.

"You're coming with us quietly, Jonathan," said Riku. "We don't have to include your family in this."

"Oh course," said Jonathan as he stood in front of Brendan. "My family is not going to be included in this. This is between you and me."

"Oh, I wanna fight him," said Lee as he removed his gloves, and they watched his nails extend. Riku shrugged and took a step back.

"Jonathan, I thought you were going to lead them away from us!" yelled Elizabeth.

"I guess they thought they should attack my family to find me easily," said Jonathan. "You two stay back. Don't try to get included in this fight. I'm gonna make them pay. Don't worry. Backup's coming." He looked down at Brendan, who looked at his father with fright written all over his face.

"Dad?" asked Brendan. Jonathan smiled.

"Stay back and watch your father kick butt," said Jonathan. He looked at Lee, and his eyes turned emerald green as he stretched.

"I'm coming at ya, bitch!" yelled Lee as he charged at Jonathan. Jonathan held his arm in front of his face and Lee threw the first strike. Jonathan's arm blocked the hit, but there was no scratch shown.

"So the legends were true," said Lee. "You know how to control it. I can't wait for me to have it for myself."

"How dare you attack them like that," said Jonathan as he curled his free hand into a fist. "I'm going to make you pay with your life." He punched Lee across the face. Lee felt like his face broke. Jonathan's punch felt rock hard. Lee landed away from the man and rubbed his cheek in agony.

"Damn," said Lee. "You punch as hard as Riku." Lee looked forward and saw Jonathan above with his hands over his head put together. He slammed them on the top of Lee's head, crashing him further towards the ground. Lee spat out blood. He looked up at Jonathan angrily.

"How dare you put your fucking hands on me!" yelled Lee as he went to stab Jonathan, but Jonathan pushed Lee's arm away and then he kicked the man aside. Lee got to his feet and angrily looked at Riku.

"Riku, this guy is cheating!" yelled Lee.

"You said you wanted to take care of him yourself," said Riku. "Go get him, tiger. I might be of assistance after you've died."

"You're no help at all!" yelled Lee. He removed his other glove and revealed his long nails. He charged at Jonathan and over and over again struck the man, but he blocked them with his arm that didn't get cut at all. Brendan watched in amazement. He never saw his father fight like that. He sometimes came to visit the dojo to see how his father fought, but this fight amazed him. His mother came to his side and hugged him. He heard police sirens in the distance, and was glad when he saw the police come near his house. They went behind Riku and they took out their guns.

"Put your hands up," said the police. "Surrender now and nobody will get hurt." Riku turned to them and chuckled.

"You seriously would not like to mess with us," said Riku as the gears moved in his huge, metal arms. He then slammed his fists on the ground, creating cracks on the ground that shook the police cars. The policemen shook. Brendan was shocked as well, but his mother held him tightly, not letting him go.

"Don't go anywhere," said Elizabeth. "Y-You're father has this under control." Brendan looked at her, and then looked at his father, who was gaining the upper hand in his fight with Lee.

"Dad!" yelled Brendan. "Is this the reinforcements you got?"

"Not at all, boy!" yelled Jonathan, with a smile on his face as he kicked Lee across the face. "I have someone even more awesome. Been buddies for a while." Lee was pushed to the ground. He looked angrily at Jonathan.

"How dare you mock me," said Lee as he charged at Jonathan. "I'm gonna wipe that fucking smile off your damn face!" Before Lee got close to Jonathan, the man slammed his iron hard fist into Lee's face. Lee fell to the ground while holding his face and cursing under his breath.

"I won't kill you, but I will beat you down so hard you'll be begging for mercy," said Jonathan. He slammed his fist on the ground where Lee was, who jumped out of the way while still holding his face.

"I want it," said Lee as he removed his hands from his face. "I want The Inheritance. Give it to me now."

"Sorry, buddy," said Jonathan as he pointed to himself with a smile on his face. "This power belongs to me. I will die trying to protect it." Lee gave a growl.

"Keep smiling you son of a bitch," hissed Lee. "I'll make you regret it." He then rammed his fingers into the ground. Jonathan was prepared for an attack, but nothing happened. He listened closely, and then felt something moving through the ground. He saw Lee's smirk. He turned back to Elizabeth and Brendan.

"Move away from there!" yelled Jonathan. Sharp, extended nails popped out from the ground in front of Elizabeth, cutting her on her cheek. She pushed Brendan before more popped out and she moved out of the way before she got hit. Jonathan turned angrily at Lee.

"Leave them out of this!" he yelled. Lee was in front of him, and he kicked Jonathan to the ground. Lee laughed like a madman as he went by Jonathan.

"Who's the big guy now, huh?" asked Lee as he started kicking Jonathan over and over again. He continued to laugh. Suddenly, a rock was thrown at his head. As blood went down his face, he turned to who threw it and saw Brendan.

"G-Get away from my dad," said Brendan. Lee just stared at him, and then smiled. It was that mad smile that would haunt Brendan for years. He pointed his hand at Brendan, and then his nails extended out towards the boy. He watched it come with wide eyes, not moving.

"Get out of the way!" Jonathan yelled, and he stood and pushed his son out of the way. Blood was splattered all over the ground. Brendan sat up, and then his eyes widened. There was his father, with the sharp nails through his chest. One went through the man's heart. He coughed up blood. Elizabeth covered her mouth as tears immediately appeared in her eyes. Lee and Riku watched in shock. Brendan wasn't moving, he wanted this to be a dream, but it wasn't. Lee immediately removed the nails, making Jonathan fall to the ground. Now Brendan was aware of his surroundings.

"FATHER!" he yelled. He ran to his father. Elizabeth fell to the ground in shock. Lee was looking around in shock.

"Extract The Inheritance, you idiot!" yelled Riku. "Do it now!"

"I-I know what I should do!" yelled back Lee. The police behind Riku brought up their guns to shoot. In frustration, Riku turned and rammed his fist to the ground, creating a huge shockwave that turned over the police cars and made the police fall as rubble fell on them. Brendan shook his father, who was barely conscious.

"Please, dad, don't go yet," said Brendan in tears. "T-The ambulance will come soon. I swear they will." Jonatan turned to him and placed his hand on his son's head. He was muttering something. Lee walked closer to Brendan with an awkward smile.

"Listen, if it makes you feel better, he was going to die anyway after we extract his power," said Lee as he walked closer. Brendan stared at him fearfully, but he wasn't going to leave his father's side.

"I'll make it better," said Lee as he extended his nails. "I'm gonna make you join him." He charged at them, but was stopped and punched in the stomach and was blown away. Brendan looked back up to see his savior with a long black cape and his blue hat. He had black, spiky hair. Brendan saw the staff in his hand. Lee and Riku watched in shock.

"It's Sir Aaron!" yelled one of the cops. Aaron turned to Brendan and Jonathan with a sad smile. He saw Jonathan muttering something. He looked away.

"Don't move," said Sir Aaron. "I can't do anything to help him. I'll take care of this for you." Everything after that just came as a blur to Lee. Suddenly, Sir Aaron jumped towards the man and grabbed his head, ramming it in the ground. He then took Lee and tossed him away, but then suddenly popped up in the way Lee was getting tossed to. He kicked Lee, directly on the man's chest. Lee spat out blood, and then while Lee was in midair, Aaron created an Aura Sphere and struck Lee with it, sending Lee away towards the ground. Lee spat blood on the ground and looked at Aaron. He clenched his fists and slammed his fists on the ground.

"Screw you," said Lee. "Screw you. Screw you. Screw you. Screw you!" Aaron walked towards Lee. Lee stood up, but then he was pushed back down to the ground.

"I've been looking for you people for a long time," said Aaron. "You've been going around Ransei, taking these disgusting jobs over and over again. I hear everytime that a mother was killed, a man, even a child! I'm going to stop you both right now. I'm not letting you people lay your disgusting hands on this family anymore."

"Like I'm gonna listen to you!" yelled Lee, but then Aaron came and grabbed his neck. Lee started choking. He flailed his arms around.

"One month ago," said Aaron. "One month ago, a child was strangled by your hands because his family was targeted by a gang. Three months ago, another child was strangled. They were both killed by you." He then rammed Lee on the ground, breaking it apart. Lee looked up at Aaron fearfully.

"I'm getting sick of it!"

Aaron then kicked Lee away by Riku. Lee held his hand out to the man.

"D-Do something," said Lee. He saw Aaron coming closer and shook in fear. Riku looked at Aaron, and then smirked.

"Bring it on, Aura Guardian," said Riku. "This is none of your business, so please leave." Aaron continued towards them.

"Your lost."

Riku then rammed his arms into the ground. He easily pulled out a boulder from the ground and threw it at Aaron. With only his staff, he hit the boulder aside. Riku watched in shock. Aaron then appeared in front of Riku. Riku immediately made the gears move in his arm and threw a punch at Aaron, who ducked, took the man's arm, turned around, and then uppercutted the man with aura covering his fist. Riku felt his whole jaw get destroyed. Aaron let go and created an Aura Sphere and hit Riku with it, pushing him back. Riku got back up immediately while holding his jaw. He released his hand from it and saw his jaw now just hanging from his face. He looked back at Aaron who kept coming at him. He growled, but then ran towards Lee and took the back of his shirt.

"We ha oo o (we have to go)," said Riku, in bad pronunciation due to his broken jaw.

"But, what about The Inheritance?!" asked Lee.

"He ead (he's dead)," said Riku.

"DAMMIT!" yelled Lee as Riku started running away with him dragging Lee along.

"Get back here!" yelled Aaron as he started to chase them, but stopped when he heard sobbing. Everything was silent except for the sobbing. The fire department was putting down the fire on the house. Aaron slowly walked towards Brendan and Elizabeth. They held each other tightly. When Aaron walked towards the deceased body of Jonathan, he noticed that the man was now dead. He also noticed that he no longer had white hair, but black, spiky hair. He looked at Brendan, who now had the white, spiky hair. Brendan looked at him. Aaron looked away so he wouldn't see the tears in the boy's eyes. He never enjoyed seeing kids cry.

"I'm sorry," said Aaron. "I could've gotten here earlier, but those bounty hunters sent out subordinates to distract me. Jonathan was a good friend to me." He then kneeled on one knee and looked at Brendan and put his hand on the boy's head.

"I'll avenge them for you," said Aaron. "I promise." Brendan then fainted. Aaron was never able to keep that promise.

End of Flashback

Brendan slowly opened his eyes in reality and saw Lee walking towards him. A tear came to his eyes.

"Dammit," he thought.

"Sayonara, kid," said Lee. Before he struck Brendan, he was suddenly blown away by a strong wind. He got to his feet and turned to who hit him and saw Dawn and May stand in front of him.

"Why are you two here?" asked Brendan angrily. "I thought I told you two to stay behind."

"I wasn't going to let you fight this guy alone," said Dawn. "If you're mad at me, you can scold me later. Right now, May and I are going to help you." Lee chuckled.

"I'd like to see you two girls try," said Lee. "What ya gonna do? Bitch me until I go on my knees and surrender?" Dawn's eye twitched.

"Togekiss, use Air Slash!" ordered Dawn. Togekiss used its attack at Lee. He put his arms in front of his face, and the sharp wind pushed him back. He looked at his arms. They were cut and bleeding.

"That really freaking hurt," said Lee angrily. "You'll pay for this." He pointed his fingers at the girls. His nails extended even more, going straight towards both girls.

"Stop it!" yelled Brendan. "They're not apart of this!" May and Dawn got out of the way, but one cut Dawn across her cheek. This image reminded Brendan of the time his mother got cut across the cheek because of Lee. He clenched his teeth. Lee returned his nails back to his hand and turned to Riku.

"Can you take care of these girls for me?"

"You actually asked for my help for something," said Riku as the gears moved in his arms. He cupped his huge hands together and crashed it on the ground, creating a shockwave of rising ground that head towards May and Dawn. Before it hit them, Brendan got them out of the way. The shockwave released a cloud of dust in the air. Brendan was hugging Dawn to keep her safe. When he got off her, he looked into her eyes. May was looking out to nowhere.

"I'm gonna take care of this," said Brendan. "Don't keep getting involved, okay?" Dawn nodded. Brendan then stood and turned towards Lee.

"How dare you attack them like that," said Brendan as he curled his hand into a fist. "I'm going to make you pay with your life."

"Funny," said Lee. "That's exactly what your father said."

"Aggron, Mightyena, you still there?" asked Brendan. When the dust cloud disappeared, Aggron and Mightyena were behind Lee. He turned back to them and frowned.

"Didn't I take care of you two?" he asked.

"Let's go!" ordered Brendan. As Brendan started to fight again, Dawn turned to May, who was still looking out to nowhere.

"Did they hurt you, May?" asked Dawn. May slowly turned to Dawn. She had a smile on her face.

"It's gonna be okay," said May. "He's coming."

"Don't let anything cloud your mind," said Lnoki as Ash and he were still meditating. "Release your thoughts and focus."

"I am," said Ash. Truly, Ash was just thinking about May. He still wondered where his friends were at that time. Suddenly, he felt like he was in a different place. He slowly opened his eyes. A dust cloud was around him. He was on rocky terrain. He looked around. He saw the silhouettes of two men in the distance. He also saw the silhouettes of two others, a boy and a girl, hugging near him, but the boy released the girl and stood to face the two men.

"Is this a dream?" thought Ash. He was about to pinch himself, but he then saw May on the ground in front of him, looking at him. She was looking into his eyes.

"May?" he asked. "What's wrong? May, is that really you?"

"Ash?" he heard May say. Ash reached for her, but he stopped when he saw his hand. He wasn't really there. He was just a see through. He then realized that this was one of his dreams, but he was awake.

"May, are you in trouble?" Ash asked. May nodded. Ash now knew this wasn't a dream.

"Stay calm!" yelled Ash. "I'll-"

Suddenly, Ash opened his eyes. He saw Lnoki open one eye to look at him.

"I thought I told you to-"

"No time!" yelled Ash as he jumped off the rock.

"What wrong?" asked Drew.

"They're in trouble," said Ash. "May and the others are in trouble. I saw them."

"But, Ash-" said Lnoki before Ash interrupted him.

"I don't care," said Ash. "We'll pause our training for a while. I need to go to them. Please?" Lnoki stared at him in shock, and finally gave in and nodded.

"Fine," said Lnoki. "Let's go."
