Roll is now determined more than ever that she will bring her fallen friend back to her side.

"I'm taking you home! No matter what!"

Maylu is unconcerned with what she is going to do with her. Now this is her moment of revenge for what happened on that day during the N1 Grand Prix to be finished once and for all. She pulls out her sword.

"You won't be able to put a scratch on me."

Jumping to where her former friends are, she charges on Roll, ready to make an attack.

"Hang on, Roll! Help is on the way!" Lan inserts an Area Steal battle chip. "Area Steal, Battle Chip In! Download!"

Before the blow is made, the pink Navi jumps out of the way to dodge Maylu's attack.

"I should have known you made a move on her, Lan," Maylu stated with disdain, then she activated her Reflector.

"Oh, believe me, Maylu. You've seen nothing yet," the boy smiles with confidence to aid Roll in getting her back as he pulls out an Aqua Tower chip. "Aqua Tower, Battle Chip In! Download!"

"Aqua Tower!" Roll exclaimed as she puts her hand to the ground, unleashing the tower to her former friend's direction.

Maylu dodges it with her Reflector. If that wasn't enough, her enemy went behind her and sent another Aqua Tower, effectively hitting her.

"How did you...?" she couldn't believe of this turn of events while getting up from the attack.

"Because I make the effective strategy, Maylu," Lan replied from the real world before focusing back on Yai, Tory, and Dex. "Tell your NetNavis to stay out of this. It's between the two girls."

"Right!" the three exclaimed as they logged out their Navis.

Now that is cleared up, MegaMan will stay out of the battle so that he may come to Roll's help when it is needed.

Maylu charges at her former NetNavi with a sword from her hand, but the latter has a cybernetic sword from her right hand. The two are in for a lock for a few seconds before letting themselves go from it.

"Come back! Maylu!" she exclaimed in resolve.

"You'll be easy to delete, Roll," the redhead slashes her sword from left to right with the Navi blocking those attacks. However, with her Reflector, she is fast enough to find the right time to stab Roll in the chest with her weapon.

"You have... gotten strong," the pink NetNavi is in for a surprise to know of how strong her former best friend has become.

"Before I delete you, Roll, I have final thing to ask you."

"Huh? What would that be?"

"That day, when you betrayed me in that match during the N1 Grand Prix, was someone else with you?" was the avenger's question.

"Why would you think that?" Roll is surprised that she knows about a mysterious shadow working behind the scenes.

"Because I'm sure there is someone else manipulating you from behind the scenes other than World Three."

"I'll tell you then, Maylu. It's Mr. X, but you won't be able to meet him."

"Then try stopping me. I'm going to take him out as well," Maylu let go off the sword from the Navi's chest.

She jumps a few inches away from her and throws some shuriken.

"Roll Blast!" Roll throws some heart-shaped blasts at them to block it.

They throw their objects on each other to block them. After a few seconds of doing this, Maylu charges first at Roll and sends a slash to the right, damaging her critically.

"Now, time to delete you, Roll!" she pulls a smile on her face as she feels her goal is about to be completed, and extends her sword from the top. However, Roll gets up to make a headbutt to her stomach.

"You think this will be easy? You better think again, Maylu!" the latter retorted on what her friend turned enemy is planning on doing to her.

"Well, let's see how you like this!" Maylu activates a fire-theme power from her left hand. Fire Stream!

Roll runs as she dodges the stream; she also dodges it as it approaches near her by jumping, only to see that the stream is following her as well. Maylu unleashes more of her power in front of her, and it's a big one.

Noticing this from the real world, Lan is prepared to insert another Area Steal chip into the PET.

"Area Steal, Battle Chip In! Download!"

With the chip inserted into her, Roll teleports to dodge the attack on her and goes behind Maylu. Noticing this, she pulls out her sword to make the attacks, but her former Navi is able to dodge them barely. Next, Roll lands a strong punch at her NetOp's face, throwing her for a few inches away.

"Why can't you understand, Maylu?!"

"You haven't changed at all. Playtime's over," the avenger stated while sending fire beams from her index finger and Roll dodges them.

"What's wrong with you?"

"I have my own path to follow. Stay out of my way."

"World Three is just using you to turn you against me!"

Maylu jumps in front of Roll and lands a punch to her face to put her down to the ground, and then she tosses her to a few inches away.

"As long as I get my revenge, World Three can have my life."

"I'll protect the bond between you and me, no matter what!" the latter yelled in her resolve.

"If that's what you think, then all I have to do is sever that bond," the former is shooting a beam from her index finger which is different. It's an electric one, that's what. Roll got hit by this attack.

"No way..." the pink Navi is in for a surprise, especially she remembered that is her main attack when she was Empress.

"Now you know that hatred is making me stronger," Maylu said in an emotionless tone. "I'm more special than you. I won't show mercy this time."

She shoots more lightning and Roll has to make a run for it.

"Hang on, Roll. Mini-Boomers, Battle Chip In! Download!" Lan helps out by inserting a Battle Chip into the PET.

Upon its insertion, Roll is throwing the Mini-Boomers, but Maylu makes a run to dodge them. Once that is done, she charges at her for an attack which it causes the former to drop her Mini-Boomers to explode at her.

This concludes that the latter is getting more stronger than ever. She's not anymore the happy, cheerful girl that her Navi once knew of.

"Is that all you've got?" she asked with no emotion.

"That's it, Maylu! You want Empress," Roll is allowing the power to be transformed once again. "Then here she is!"

Of course, Maylu is so emotionless that she isn't impressed by this and takes off her jacket and started to transform by her mark.

"Let's see if you can block this!" she starts to zap the enemy she wanted to fight with a lightning attack, but the pink NetNavi blocks it with the same attack.

Now their lightning is in a struggle to find out who will win the struggle.

As Maylu has won this part, Roll has a power that she even has.

Black Flames!

With this kind of attack, it consumes the electric beam that the event has put to a stop. Roll has won that part.

"It doesn't matter if you could win this one, Roll!" Maylu charges and lands a punch at the latter. They traded blows to each other next in their alternate forms, but with her Reflector, the former gets the winning to put her down. "Time to say goodbye to this world."

Just before she could deliver the killing blow, MegaMan gets in the way.

"How obvious he would do that," the girl stated in scorn.

"MegaMan..." Roll couldn't believe of another Navi would defend her while standing up.

"Roll, I saw you're still you even as Empress. Impressive. Despite what you have become, I'll still protect you," said the blue Navi. This gives his friend happy tears when she hears this resolve.

"Good job, MegaMan!" Lan is happy to see on what is happening at that moment.

Maylu pulls out a crazy smile as she sends a fire-like beam from her left hand. It not only hit Roll, but also MegaMan. The kids from the real world are shocked to see this coming. Next, she looked at the screen where Lan is from the cyber world.

"This is what happens when you don't make an attack on someone who you can't attack. That's what makes you weak, Lan."

Lan just couldn't believe she has the guts to do something like that; sending an attack that could impale not only Roll but also MegaMan.

Despite all that is about to happen, Roll gets up and runs away, but Maylu gives out chase. Realizing this, she noticed a hole and dodges it to lure her. As she fell for it, Maylu has the power from her mark stripped off her as well as the mark from her neck.

Now that she's back to normal, Maylu makes a slash at her own Navi with her sword, but she continue to walk over at her. Frightened by this, she started to back away before doing to again. Regardless, Roll is still getting up. It looks like being Empress just gives her the endurance to keep on moving.

The redhead is now on a dead end as she is standing on a wall. It's over for her.

While being weak and feel she's about to be deleted, Roll continues to walk to Maylu and puts her sharp-nailed right index finger near her head. It's as if she's going to poke her. Smiling onto this, she is ready for her last moment.

"Sorry, Maylu, but this is it."

She pokes the redheaded girl and drops to the ground.

Roll data deleted

Roll dissolves into particles of data, then it streams away from the cyber world.

Maylu's revenge is finally complete.

In the real world, Lan is in tears from seeing this and so are Dex, Yai, and Tory. Their respective NetNavis are also sad from seeing this moment.

"Roll is... gone?" he looks at the PET that was once belonged to Maylu. The word 'deleted' is on the screen. Then he takes notice on the Maylu. "Happy, now that you got revenge on her?"

Maylu is in silent from this and opens up a portal that leads her back from the cyber world to the real world.

Her answer is a mystery.
