Inside cyberspace, Maylu is in some empty environment as she is searching for Glide. Looking at the space surrounding her, she feels like this is going to take some time.

I wonder where that know-it-all of a NetNavi went off to, she thought impatiently.

Meanwhile, the leader of Grave is on his office because he is going to have a conversation with Mr. Wily via telephone, but he doesn't know his true identity.

"Well?" the former asked cautiously.

"It went perfectly," the latter replied.

"That's good to hear."

"Roll is deleted, and so, we need no longer to keep our pact to stay away from DenTech City."

"Such a long way," the leader stated with cheer in his voice.

"But now, we can proceed according to plan," Mr. Wily continued. "It won't worth the wait. Roll had placed insurance in Maylu; the black flames."

He thought back on how her power got activated when he started to tell her the truth, and because of this, he almost died on that day. Luckily, he escaped from this moment of death and proceeded to tell the girl the truth about her NetNavi's actions.

"Roll believed that no one knew the truth about her, so why did she go to such lengths?" his collaborator asked.

"Aside from true intentions, she probably feared I would try to recruit Maylu. Her fear came true when I successfully did it, anyway. I'm sure Yahoot would feel the same."

"Yeah, I would like to see the look on his face when he realized this. So, what's next?"

"We let her do what we must to let Maylu complete her goal. She can destroy DenTech City, but the entire world is mine to take over."

Inside cyberspace, Maylu has found Glide in the table and she decided not to do anything yet to him. For her, this will be the last conversation he will have with her.

"So, Maylu hasn't come back yet?" the latter asked his NetOp.

"No, Glide, she hasn't," was her reply from the real world, and she's sitting on a table wiping her sweat from playing tennis.

"I wonder why she can't come back," Glide wondered.

Suddenly, Maylu has found where her target is and makes an attack.

Fire Stream!

She launches a stream of fire from her left hand as it went to Glide, and he gets burned from this.

"What the...?" Yai is shocked to see this and her PET's screen suddenly blacks out. "What's going on?"

"Now, Glide, you're coming with me," Maylu grabs a hold of the NetNavi and drags him to the hideout.

Back in the real world by the mysterious hideout...

"I got him," the girl said with no emotion.

"Very good," the leader of Grave stated impressively.

"Maylu, what's the meaning of this?" Glide asked while being in captive in a cage from the cyber world.

"You'll find out in good time, Glide, and now that you're done, I can give you another mission," the leader ordered.

"No thanks. I think I'll just go back to your mystery guest," Maylu walked away from his office and he doesn't even bother in calling her out.

As she leaves the building, she took a taxi back to Mr. Wily's hideout.
