Book 8: Magic.

Chapter 1. The Rigarock, the road to Guin's past. Did anyone remember to fill up the tank?

I own noting. Except OCS.

As the skylanders loaded the cauldron onto the molten exspress. Guin was talking to Blink.

"About the assassin." Guin began, He was refering to Calamaro.

"Oh him. Don't worry. As soon I docked at Railrock station. I turned him over to the sky patrol." Blink chuckled. "HAH! Sucker!"

"We have seven sources! We almost there!" Rinda examed as she and Suni ran up to Guin.

"I think Kaos is about ready to break!" Trigger happy said hopping on Guin's shoulder. "He's probably ready to add you to his "Arch-enemy roster."

"Guin..." Spirito said walking up to Guin. "You made such good progress...But...I'm afraid this is were we part ways..."

"What? Your leaveing?" Guin asked.

"The road to your lost memory is back on the core island." Spirito said before beginning to cry. "I can't help you anymore... It's up to you...AND the skylanders to find the last source." He began to wipe his button eyes before cheering up. "That. And I need to hide from Sowie for a bit."

"NO! Without you. Guin can't recover his memories! Your his only clue!" Rinda begged. They had come so far. Only a few inches away from Guin's past.

"He has awaking all three trial orbs..." Spirito said before walking over to the edge of the island. "Now...he is ready." He then jumped off into the clouds below.

"Spirito!" Guin yelled. Before he realize. He was gone. He then shook his head before turning to Rinda and said. "We need to get back to the core."

"Yes. He did say that the "The road to your lost memory is back on the core island." Didn't he?" Rinda said before a thought came over her. "But I'm more concern about the "Awaking all three trial orbs." What did he mean?"

"Remember the two we found back in you world...The one on that island AND in the ruins." Guin explained.

"Wait...You don't mean..." Rinda then began to think before it hit her. "I knew those orbs of light we saw were related to you somehow!"

"We need to return to the core imminently..." Guin said. The two then boarded the train with the others.

The train then departed...Our heroes getting ever closer to the completion of the core...And Guin's past.

"Lord Kaos! We're receiving a transmission from Gaul!" A troll reported to Kaos.

"Good! Patch him through! I going to hurt him until it makes him mewl for mercy..." Kaos said darkly. He was NOT in a good mood.

Suddenly a hologram screen popped up from Kao's portal of power. The screen was fuzzy at first until it reveled the tiger king.

"Greetings Kaos I-" Gaul started but he was interrupted by Kaos.

"YOU MORON! YOU OVERGROWN BATH MAT! YOU LET HIM HAVE THE FIRE SOURCE!?" Kaos yelled. Before calming down. "I gave you Guin's abilities. Help you master them...I even made you a tuna fish sandwich! And yet you fail me, Istravan..."

"But...I now know who is pulling Guin's strings!" Gaul started. Earning a surprise look from Kaos.

"WHAAAAATTTT! Tell me. NOW!" Kaos ordered.

"It's Spirito Phantomile. The entity that follows Guin and the Skylanders. apparently, the arkyeans are somehow connected to Guin's past..." Gaul explained.

"Ha...Hahahahahaha!" Kaos laughed with the newfound knowledge. "That pile of cloth thinks he's so smart. But he's WRONG. I'll soon catch him...Puppet...AND the puppeteer!" Kaos then had a dark thought. "Say Gaul...Ever heard of the machine of Parro?"

"The legendary machine that rest in the walls of Crystal, captial of Parro...Yes...Were are you going with this?" Gaul asked.

"I think it's time to "Cut" Guin's connections with those filthy humans..." Kaos said evily.

"Oh...This is diffidently going to be...A "Smash" Hit..." Gaul then began to laugh. The two began to laugh. This was Kao's last final trick...The last bag...The king of spades...Part of him was going to miss it...But in the end...

It was just taking up space.

"Where Is that feline?" Skor said tapping his foot. "I thought he was with us a moment ago. What a stu-" Before he finished. He was tackled to the ground by a blue lizard.

"HOW LONG DID YOU KNOW?!" Skaler yelled at his step-father. Skor was now pinned to the ground.

"How long did I know...what? All I knew was that you face Guin and got yourself crushed...But don't get mad at me! Kaos said that he use you to get rid of Guin." Skor explained.

"...Hmp!" Skaler then got up and rested against a tree. Both Skor and Skrap just looked at him. "...I made a horrible mistake...Kaos...Is going to pay!" Skaler growled.

Suddenly an ideal came over Skor. He used to be the boss around here. And now...It was time for him to take his leadership back. After all...He had an army of Links to serve him. But to show Kaos who's boss... he'll needs Skaler's help.

"Skaler...My son. I have a proposal for you..." Skor said promising.

Skaler didn't argued. This was his punishment for trying to murder Guin. To be the son of a would-be-darklord. So...Why not? It's not like he had anywhere else to go. He thought that he had a purpose when Kaos appeared before him in a flash of light...But as it turns out. Shidoh was noting more than a tool. But as Skaler...He had a second chance. A second childhood. And a second farther.

What the heck? If Skor fails. At least Skaler would have the amusement of watching him get badly hurt. "Tell me." Skaler asked finally.

Skor then tapped his claws togerther. At long last, Skaler had finally opened up to him. "Well...In order to overpower Kaos. We need to gain control of his monster."

"You mean...?"

"That's right." Skor said. Letting off an evil grin. "The very same monster that destroyed the Core of Light...Orichi. The eight headed dragon."

"Guin, look!" Rinda shouted pointing up. It has only been a short while since Guin and the others returned to the Core island. Guin then looked up towards the sky.

The very fabric of the sky, which was a blue color. Was now a sheet of eerie red darkness. Guin could tell that Skylands was on its last legs. The magic was already leaking out of the floating islands.

"THIS IS BAD!" Hugo yelled in a panic state. "The elements are losing control! Quick to the Core!"

Guin, Hugo, And Rinda. Quickly hurried to the center of the island. At that moment a group of Skylanders notice Guin heading towards the Core. They then followed him, realizing he may need help.

There was Grim Creeper. An undead skylander who wields a giant scythe. Bumble Blast, a life skylander who was a living, breathing, beehive, who saw himself as a protector to the bees then live inside him. Wind-up, A wind-up toy robot. And lastly Pop Fizz. The alchemist demon.

The moment Guin walked up to the Core, he was greeted by a flock of worried elemites. Guin then began trying to calm them down. Suddenly, The fire source popped out of his gautlet and into the Core. At that moment. Chow and Slam-bam. Who were carrying the phoenix cauldron, Walked over to the center of the Core and place the cauldron in a empty space at the bottom of the machine.

At that exact moment, red flame shaped elemites began to flutter from the machine. The fire Elemites have returned! But time was still running out.

"Oh. What are we suspose to do? I don't know where the magic source is!" Hugo cried out flipping through the pages of his book. "I can't find where the magic source is hidding, None of the books say anything about it...Oh Jarn, We need more time!"

At that exact moment...Guin heard Flynn's voice.

"Hey, a bunch of glowy orbs thingys are up to some mischief..." Flynn said pointing.

Far from the Core island. Three orbs of light were circling over head. Suddenly the three orbs began to glow brightly before each of them shot a beam into the cloud sea.

"The Trial Orbs..." Guin said to himself.

Suddenly, something began to emerge from the clouds. It was hard to make out, But it looked like a ship of some kind. And it was heading straight for the docks.

"It can't be..." Rinda gasped.

Soon the ship docked at the end of the dock. By then, the light concealing the ship's form faded. At first glance, it was a sleek white spaceship. The railing of the ship was decorated with blue futuristic leopard spots that was teeming with a lost power.

Soon, The whole crew made it to the docks. They were in awe of the strange vessel. On the side was a bunch of sigils spelling out a word in an unknown language. A word that Guin could read clearly.

"The Rigarock..." Guin said reading the unreadable word.

"The ship that roams the seas!?" Rinda examed.

The Rigarock was a strange vessel that Guin encounter while he, The twins, Suni, And Istravan were gaining passage on a pirate ship. When Guin's identity was revealed the pirates panic. And just when the pirates were about to throw him overboard. The Rigarock appired and did the "Throwing overboard" For the pirates. When Guin woke up, He was washed ashore on an island where he reunites with his friends and awaking one of the "Trial orbs."

At that moment, they were joined by the Dino Posse along with Miss Dinklecorn and her two assistants. Who were struck with amazement from the sight of the Rigarock.

"Dude! What's with the awesome boat?" Jet examed.

Suddenly the vessel then let out a loud hissing sound. A small door on the side of the ship opened and a bridge extended towards the docks.

"...I think it want's us to board." Kane said to Guin.

Guin was the first to act. He took a step onto the metal bridge, And another, until he found himself boarding the ship. The Skylanders soon followed.

"Followed that Leopard! There's discoverys to be made!" Miss Dinklecorn shouted to her two assistants. Crya and Cyrus nodded before following their captain. Cyrus was jotting down notes.

When Guin boarded he saw everything was completely mechanize, Everything was a silver color, from the walls to the floor. Soon everyone joined Guin and were exploring the Rigarock. Wind-up found the control panel and began to check the ship's functions.

"Master Guin..." Wind-up said to his master. "There seem's to be some sort of map stored within the ships memory banks. I would recommend using this vessel to explore this place..."

"That's not a bad ideal..." Hugo said thinking. "From what we know... Guin is somehow related to the Arkyeans..."

Kane then walked up to Guin before sighing. "I guess we don't have much of a choice...The Rigarock is our only clue to both the magic source AND Guin's past."

"Ahem..." Wind-up coughed. "However we have a slight problem..." He then pointed to a meter mounted on the dashboard. The needle was on E. "...Some idiot left this ship on auto-pilot! And used up a century worth of Quicksilver!"

"Quicksilver? But that fuel hasn't been in skylands for one hundred years..." Hugo said shaking his head.

Everyone, including Guin gave a gloomy look. At that moment Flynn boarded the Rigarock and walked up towards Guin before saying. "Um...Hey, Guin, Do you know that statue thats on the edge of the Core island?"

"Yes..." Guin said. In fact that statue was the first thing Guin saw the moment he set foot in Skylands. Flynn then began to rub the back of his head before saying.

"Uh...Yeah its moving."
