Chapter 5: What Come's around.

Kaos was sitting in a lawn chair eating popcorn just staring at Spirito who was trapped within the mirror. "HAHAHAH!" Kaos laughed as he shoved another handful of popcorn into his mouth. "It's funny because it's hopeless...Want some popcorn?" Kaos said as he threw popcorn at the now irritated Spirito, only to bounce off the mirror.

"...He could've burned me...He could've just hung me out to dry...But NOOOOOOOO...He had to chose this...THIS CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUSIMENT!" Spirito cursed his fate. "I have to say...I'm impress." Spirito said nodding.

"Kaos..." Gaul said as he walked up to the short evil portal master. "I have most troubling news about Guin and the Skylanders."

"Can it wait? I'm busy gloating..." Kaos said before turning towards Spirito and continued laughing.

"But Kaos..." Gaul growled. "Guin and the Skylander are IN the human world. And are getting close to the quicksilver vault!"

"HAHAHAHACK-ACK!?" Kaos then began to choke on popcorn upon hearing that news. "What!? How could they possibly know it was there!? WHAT"S HAPPENING!?"

"Your plan is failing, just admit it." Spirito said chuckling from within the mirror.

"SILLANCE!" Kaos said throwing his bag of popcorn at the mirror only for it to bounce off and hit him in the face. "AHHHH! THE BUTTER! IT BURNS!" Kaos screamed as the greasy popcorn butter invaded his eyes sockets.

"AHHHHHHHHH! MY EYES!"

Skaler and Skrap were listening to Kaos' and Gaul's conversation through a radio. Skor had planted a listing device in Gaul's fur allowing them to listen in.

"So...Guin and the Skylanders manage to locate the Quicksilver vault..." Skaler said in thought. He then turned to Skrap before saying. "I think we should congratulate them..."

"Yay! A party!" Skrap exclaimed. "There'll be cake, Clowns, Balloon animals and-"

SLAP!

"Idiot! I meant a attack!" Skaler yelled after smacking Skrap on the back of his head.

"Owwww..." The blue chubby lizard said rubbing his bruise.

"Istravan and I used to fight along side each other. However he came to me before I could begin my journey to Skylands, and asked me to help him become king." Guin told the Skylanders along with the dino posse. "...However I declined, I needed to find my past. However he refused to let me go..."

"I know where this is headed already..." Spyro said sighing. "You two got in a fight that made you mortal enemies, the end."

"I don't see what the big deal is about being king..." Terrafin said thinking. "You don't do anything all day...Your always sighing stupid laws...People are always trying to assassinate you..."

The team then continued across the rocky range. Guin then stopped the group when they came to a lake of glowing blue liquid. "Toxic Magic Waste..." Guin said after he identify it. "We'll mutate the moment we make contact with it..."

Terrafin then notice a old pillar sitting by the edge of the waste, he had an ideal. He then ran up to the pillar before striking it with his fists. Causing it to fall and form a bridge across the bank. He then called the team over.

However...On a nearby cliff. Two anthromorpic reptiles were watching our heroes. "There they are..." Skaler said as he watch them cross the river of slime.

"Now we can throw them the party of a lifetime." Skrap said cheerfully. Skaler then made a stunned face before turning annoyed. Then, Without turning around. Moved his hand behind Skrap's head and gave it a heavy slap.

"Oww..." Skrap groan rubbing his head.

While our two complex reptiles were scheming. Guin and Kane were busy discussing about Skor and Gaul. "Istranvan...Or Gaul as he is now known, will do anything to reach his ambition. And Skor saw this as a advantage."

"Yeah..." Kane said nodding. "He has the tendency to rile people or giant anthromorphic cats up. Skor may love attention...But give him too much and he'll put two and two together. He might used the trust he gathered for his own selfishness."

"I take he didn't have many friends when he was young?" Guin asked. Before suddenly figuring out what Kane meant. "Oh...No...If Gaul somehow becomes king..."

"Skor would volunteer to be his advisor!" Lance said in shock. "That fill necked fiend!"

"Istranvan may be capable of leading a army...But leading a entire nation is a completely different story all together, I know him." Guin said worried. "Kane...You said Skor once took over as mayor of Megaopilst, correct?"

"Yeah. That menace planned to bulldoze our headquarters! He even publish a book about his rise to power. But it ended up nicely in the end, Skor was vindicated. And we found a good use for all those books...They made great covers for all of those potholes in the streets." Kane explained before realizing why Guin asked him that. "Oh...But I guess he still gained political experience from that time..."

"If Skor Becomes Gaul's advisor... He'll be able to overlook every law and decreed Gaul enacts." Guin said sighing. "He'll be pulling Gaul's strings...A king...Who is a puppet to a dinosaurian magician."

"LOOK OUT!" Bowler yelled before throwing his iron ball at a pillar with a small statue on top. When it was broken, Guin and the rest of the team saw that the statues eyes were flashing. Suddenly the ground around them opened up and robot warriors began to emerge from the debts, they had red chromed armor with gold trimmers.

"Arkyean Guards! They must've been set up a few centuries ago..." Tick-Tock said his gears shaking. "We're surrounded!"

"Skylanders! Hold your ground and attack!" Guin ordered, upon hearing their master's command, they leapt into action. Tick-Tock then ran up to three guards and suddenly two gold cymbals popped out of his claws, he began to clap them together creating a very loud racket causing the three robots to overload from the noise and explode. Terrafin was then surrounded by a group of robots, they then all charged at the dirt shark. Terrafin then cracked his knuckles before punching the first robot, sending it to the ground. He then grabbed the second robot's leg and swung it at the rest in timed session. "This...IS...EPIC!" Gillgrunt shouted as he fired harpoons at the robotic squad, he then pulled the trigger that was connected to the hose. Gillgrunt sprayed the robots in water causing them to all rust. Guin then finished the last few robots with a few quick lashes from his sword reducing them to pieces.

"We must be getting close..." Guin said silting his sword into his gauntlet.

The team then continued towards an old vault sitting on a temple...The Quicksilver temple.
