"Let me see her!" Michelle insisted as sat opposite the officers interviewing her about the events that had taken place hours ago now.

"Miss Connor sit down!" the male of the two demanded as she stood up and screamed the demand at them again and again.

"LET ME SEE HER!" Michelle screamed, losing her temper as her face flushed red.

She was crying, upset, distressed, disappointed in herself, angry, frustrated and most of all she just wanted to see Carla and beg her for forgiveness. Tears streaming down her face had left black marks from her heavy eye make up where it had run and she looked a right state with her hair all messed up from her grabbing at it every time she tried to suppress her anger.

"Miss Connor if you sit down and talk to us then maybe you will see your friend again. Now you said it wasn't you, not your fault; but you were holding the blade. Explain what happened and we will try to sort this all out." The other officer explained softly but firmly.

Sitting back down Michelle sniffled as she looked at them both. It was obvious and had been since the start that something was bothering her. Giving her some time the officers sat back and waited for Michelle to say something. They had their suspicions and knew the main culprit behind all of this would be Denzy but without evidence they were powerless. No one had ever grassed the top dog up before and they suspected Michelle would be the same.

Michelle knew that grassing Denzy up for this would get her killed. She had been warned more than once of Denzy's influence on their wing and why not to mess with her. She was too scared to be the one to make the mistake of upsetting her. If she kept her mouth shut surely it would earn her respect, maybe she could convince Denzy that Carla was alright, that she would conform to being a member of the gang if Michelle could just be given the chance to convince her to.

"I did it. Now let me see her" Michelle admitted and insisted again.

"We can't do that. You better hope she is ok. If she isn't you'll be charged" the male officer quickly told Michelle.

"Until then Miss Connor we will be holding you in confinement" stated the other as they stopped their interview tape and took Michelle to a temporary holding cell whilst space was sorted for her on the confinement wing.

Marching onto the hospital wing the same officers were finally getting an update on Carla and whether she too was now ready for questioning. The doctor on duty agreed his patient was doing well and led them to her. Offering them to stand at her bedside he explained how luckily for Carla the would wasn't deep enough to have caused any serious damage; that she was in a little bit of pain and that they could ask her a few questions but the remainder would have to wait until she was returned or ready to return to the wing. Nodding to show their understanding they waited until the doctor had left and then gently interrogated Carla hoping that as she was the victim maybe she would be more forthcoming with the information and more importantly if she wanted to press charges against the supposed attacker Michelle.

That was their first question and Carla refused. Sighing heavily the female officer knew this meant only one thing; Carla wasn't going to give them their desired information either. To their disappointment Carla too gave no details of the incident different to those they had reported. Lying there she was very still, looked a little worse for wear and the insistence of both officers wasn't enough to make her want to talk. As the doctor returned he advised them very clearly that they couldn't spend any longer with his patient and respectively they left.

In her cell alone Michelle's frustrations were getting the better of her. Prison was much crueller than she ever could have imagined, the people nastier than she had ever thought and the place much more miserable than she could have ever thought. Now alone in a cell she was starting to feel the affects of the place and began understanding what she had heard about people suffering from depression inside. It sneaks up on you she'd heard but never believed it, now it was sneaking up on her. Something about being alone along with the mix of emotions she had right now was taking her to a dark place. Consumed with guilt for being so weak she rested back against the wall and sank to the floor sobbing gently.

Resting in her bed Carla was terribly upset and very unsettled. Something about the attack had left her slightly shaken and especially when she felt tired. As soon as she closed her eyes she saw it all again and couldn't bare it. Michelle was not that person, she was kind, caring, sweet not rough and horrid like Denzy was trying to make her. Silently crying Carla began to realise just how much she missed Michelle, the real Michelle. In that moment she vowed that as soon as she got back to Michelle that they were going to sort this out, make things right and protect each other like they had originally planned.

Back on the wing Denzy and Jessica were deep in discussion. Denzy had decided that now was the time to let Jessica in on further details of her plan to tear the Connor girls apart and slowly destroy them until they were themselves no longer. Listening intently Jessica took in all the information Denzy was feeding her. It was a long and complicated story, a lot for Jessica to try and understand and link up but slowly she was piecing it all together. Jessica had heard Denzy talking about her brother before, she was very fond of him or had been until he had died. There was one thing she had always maintained and that was that her brother was murdered by his girlfriend. As Denzy described how it had been determined by the courts as a fight that had gone wrong between her brother and a notorious man in the gang community they would never catch and that nobody ever paid for murdering him, Jessica began to click the pieces into place.

"You know the girl that killed him?" she asked still processing the information.

"Of course, I told you his girlfriend and her friend"

"Well who is she?" Jessica asked slightly confused now.

"Back then she was Miss Donovan..." narrows her eyes; "but you know her better as Carla Connor" Denzy stated slowly.

Jessica gasped.

"And now...it is time for her to pay" Denzy stated in a low, controlled and evil tone.
