Hey everyone I'm back and have the next chapter ready to go and ready to be up so here we go I'm glad I have all yall behind me to keep writing it means a lot to me. DIA'S POV

FLASHBACK

"I think you're getting kind of slow Cheshire?" I taunted bouncing on the balls of my feet

"Oh and you're not?" she laughs lifting her weapons

"Oh no I'm pretty fast I just move slowly to keep up with you," I smirk

"You rotten little brat," she growls lunging at me

I jump in the air, swinging my foot around and knocking her down and her mask come flying off. Landing down in front of her I smirk, then blink eyes going white clear as day I see an arrow being shot, opening my eyes, I hear an arrow being launched, I move and see Roy standing there looking at Cheshire.

"So you came to join the party Red," Jade flirts

"Gross can we get back to fighting, you two sicken me," I stick out my tongue

"We're not flirting," he growls

"Are you sure because it looks like it to me?" I ask giving him a look that says I'm not dumb

"We're not!" he growls launching himself at Cheshire

"Clair I need you to go and join Kid, he's not responding to any of my responses," says Aqualad

"I'm on it," I state running off in his coordinates

Running to my destination, I stop when I spot kid's goggles, not good, I push myself even faster and when I reach I see a big bulky dude crushing Kf in his arms.

"Let go of him now," I snap sending out a shockwave towards him.

"Awe little yellow is this your girlfriend?" he laughs

"Actually try ex-girlfriend more like it," I growled flipping in the air and knocking him in the face.

Dropping kid flash on the floor, I land on my feet and wrap metal wires around his legs and let loose of my power making him spaz out like crazy. Once he drops to the ground, I turn towards kid and drop to my knees.

"Kf come on! Wake up we need you, I need you," I state shaking him lightly

He mumbles something but I can't understand him, I roll my eyes lifting him up over my shoulder, then BAM! I slammed into a tree dropping kid below me, I groan looking up towards this bulky man who was completely burnt.

"You're still awake?" I gasp

"You wench! Your gonna get it," he growled

"Hey humongous," says a raspy voice

"Kid!" I smile looking down at him

"What do you want pipsqueak?" he growled

"I think you should let her go," he laughs

"And whys that," he growls

"You're surrounded," He smirks

END OF FLASHBACK

Sitting in the infirmary, I watched as black canary patches up my arm. I sigh and look towards the ground and shake my head.

"Alright what's with the sigh?" she asks

"I still love Wallop," I exclaim

"Oh and why don't you tell him that?" she asked

"Because he's with Arty I think and I'm not ready to do anything," I sigh shaking my head back and forth

"I see give yourself time, be free for a while no need to rush," she laughs smiling at me

"I guess you're right, thanks Canary," I smile

I stepped out of the infirmary and walked down the hall way to the main entrance, a smile spread across my face. She was right I don't need to rush myself, and I think it's time I have a little chat with my mom. Stepping into my house I see my mom washing the dishes humming to herself.

"Hey mom can I talk to you?" I asked walking up and sitting down in the bar stool across from her.

"Sure dear what's up?" she asked

"Listen I love being a hero and all, I do and I know they need me but, college life is about to start up here in the next year and I was thinking about taking some time off from the superhero life," I state looking down at my hands

"Oh, you know I never thought of that but it's a good idea I mean didn't you want to go to New York for college?" she asked

I nodded my head and smiled at her, at least she got it. She walked around and hugged me tightly and gave me a kiss on the head.

"You do what you think is right honey, if you ever want to jump right back in just say the word and you just go and do it," she smiles with tears in her eyes

"Mom don't cry, why are you crying?" I asked

"My baby is growing up," she states

I smile and shook my head, walking back to my room I slipped into a pair cozy clothes and slipped in a movie. I curled up in my bed and just started to watch the movie letting myself drift away from all the crazy drama life that has been going on around me and the world. I knew that if I left for a while that it would be hard for my mom to do it on her own but I needed to do this.
