Another new chapter guys! I'm on a roll here and I can't stop! So now let's see the fight between Scar and Simba! Who will win?! (well we know who wins, but let's all just act like we don't know, kay? ;))

Chapter 16 – "The True Lion King"
Simba chased after Scar all around the edge of Pride Rock until they were on top of Pride Rock. Scar ran to the edge but stopped completely as everything below was covered with fire burning everywhere. He turned around ready to run the other way but Simba leaped through the fire with a growl and looked at his uncle with a murderous look. He needed to pay for what he did to him all these years ago.
"Murderer" Simba said lowly as he stalked towards Scar.
"Simba, Simba please. Please have mercy, I beg you." Scar said nervously.
"You don't deserve to live" Simba said with that same chilling look.
"But Simba….I….uh…am family. I-It's the hyenas who are the real enemy. It was their fault, it was their idea." Scar pleaded. Little did he know that they were listening the whole time at his accusation and betrayal towards them. The three growled lowly before walking off with angry scowls.
"Why should I believe you? Everything you've ever told me was a lie!" Simba snarled.
"What're you going to do? You wouldn't kill your own uncle?" Scar said. As much as Simba wanted and trust me, he really did want him dead, it wouldn't be right because that would mean he would be as bad as Scar. His father raised him to be so much more.
"No, Scar. I'm not like you." Simba said with a crossed look.
"Oh Simba, thank you! You are truly noble and I'll make it up to you, I promise. And how can I prove myself to you, tell me anything." Scar said. Simba knew exactly what to tell him.
"Run. Run away, Scar. And never return" he growled, repeating the same words that Scar had said to him when his father died. Scar's eyes widened in shock.
"Yes…..of course." He said as he slowly walked away. Simba eyed him down.
"As you wish…..Your MAJESTY!" Scar snarled and tossed flaming embers at Simba, burning his nose. Simba yelled out in pain and wiped them away and just as Scar leapt for him, another lion appeared and bared her teeth, knocking Scar to the ground and wrestling with him. Simba was shocked.
"Anaya!" He yelled as she bit and clawed Scar's face while he scratched and bit her ear. They separated and Scar stalked the two of them with a crazed laugh.
"You know something, nephew, I have another secret to share. And it's about your little girlfriend here." Scar said with a snicker. Anaya growled because she knew what he was going to reveal. Simba looked confused and curious.
"What did she tell you, Simba? That she ran away to find help? To find food? Ha! That's nowhere near the truth no is it, Anaya?" he said with a grin.
"What're you talking about, Scar?" Simba asked
"Our sweet little Anaya here was going to be my queen." Scar said. Simba was absolutely repulsed and surprised by this and turned to his mate to see the disgusted and saddened look on her face.
"Is that true?" he asked. Anaya was about to reply but Scar cut her off.
"Oh it's true, Simba. We were going to rule together and the Pridelands would flourish through the offspring that Anaya and I-"
"STOP IT!" She screamed and lunged for his neck. She fought with Scar and Simba tried to find an opening to help her. Scar snarled and then bit her neck before swiping his paw across her and sent her flying backwards onto a hard boulder. Simba's face became one full of fury and he lunged for Scar but his uncle had anticipated his moves and pinned him to the ground, scarcthing and digging his teeth into his mane before Simba swiped his claws against Scar and knocked him backwards. They both fought viciously and aggressively throughout the battle until Scar slapped Simba and knocked him to the ground. Simba looked up and saw Scar leaping towards him, claws extended and teeth bared, but Simba knew what to do, as he held Scar and used his hind legs to push him off, making Scar fly over-head and come tumbling down the rocks to the bottom. Simba looked down and saw Scar sit up before the hyenas came.
"Ahh, my friends." Scar said
"Friends? I thought he said we were the enemies?" Shenzi said with a smirk.
"Yea, that's what I heard" Banzai agreed. Scar couldn't believe that they had heard him or that they were turning on him.
"Ed?" They both asked and Ed just laughed and licked his lips as more hyenas gathered around Scar and then feasted on him body. Simba turned away from the horrid scene and then ran towards Anaya's unconscious form. His face became one full of worry and sadness.
"Anaya? Come on, wake up" he said softly but she didn't move even when he nudged her cheek. His fear had come back and then he remembered how this was the same as how his father died before him.
"No….please. Father…don't take her away." He begged with tears beginning to form in his eyes. He bent his head next to her and leaned his forehead against her face.
"I need her, Father" he whispered and then let out a small sob. "I love her."
The Prince closed his eyes wishing that he could reverse the situation and bring her back but sadly he couldn't. He let one tear drip on by and squeezed his eyes shut, mourning internally of his loss.
"I love you too." A weak voice mumbled. Simba opened his eyes and pulled back to look at Anaya who was now blinking her eyes open.
"What?" he asked
"I said:…I love you too." She said more clearly as she leaned her head up and smiled at her mate.
"Don't ever scare me like that again." he warned
"No promises" she said with a smirk which made him shake his head.
He smiled and kissed her forehead just before the rain began to start and pour down on everything. Simba helped Anaya up and they walked back to the where the rest of the Pride was waiting for them. Anaya immediately went to Zahra and nuzzled her affectionately. Anaya looked back and saw Simba reconnecting with his mother and then Nala. She walked over to them and nuzzled her sister before going to her mate and burying her face into his mane, inhaling his musky scent as he let his wet face graze over her back with a smile. Sarabi smiled at their love and had already accepted Anaya and Simba's feelings.
The pulled back and nuzzled each other's faces with their noses before a rattling sound was heard and made them break apart while everyone else looked up. Rafiki stood on the top ledge leading towards Pride Rock's peak where he pointed his stick in the direction of. Simba gulped and moved on up and stopped to look at Rafiki who bowed in respect, but Simba grabbed him into a hug which Rafiki returned.
"It is time." He said and Simba nodded as he walked up towards the peak. All the lionesses, Timon and Pumbaa and Zazu watched in awe at Simba's bravery for this would be the moment where he would take his father's place and rule Pride Rock effectively. His nerves began to appear again but then the thunder rumbled in the air and Simba looked up at the clouds which had formed a lion's face in the night sky.
'Remember' Mufasa's spirit said to him and Simba looked ahead and smiled determinedly before he gave a huge mighty roar.

The lionesses smiled and replied with a mighty roar themselves. Anaya smiled and was proud of Simba and roared along with them, accepting Simba as their King…..The True Lion King….
