October 6th

Dear Friend,

Since I can't write you letters at the moment, I decided to write my letters in a journal and send you the whole journal at once. I hope that's okay with you. I would send letters everyday but I'm probably going to be moving around a lot soon since I'm going to have to find Mami. I have to find her and make sure she's okay. There has to be a reason why I couldn't call her back, and I'm going to find out. Wish me luck.

Currently I'm on the train to Shimon. I should be there within the hour. There aren't that many people on the train, which is since because I get a whole area to myself. I like when things work out like that. I don't want to sit next to anyone at the moment because I'm sure they would make fun of me for writing in a journal. They just don't understand. There is a guy in the area across from me and he keeps sending me there weird glances. I don't like it. He's really creeping me out at the moment. I just hope his isn't a stalker or something.

The train just stopped. I have to get off. I'll keep you posted.

Tsuna tucked the small blue journal into the messenger bag he had brought with him. As he stood up he noticed the man who kept glancing at him get up as well, as if to follow him. He tried not to think that way. After all, the man could just be going to Shimon to visit family or friends. Tsuna's weird feeling didn't go away at the thought.

The teen stepped off of the train and looked around the station, hoping for any clues as to which station he was in. Even though he has only been gone for about a month it seemed like everything was new and different. Usually when he came to Shimon he would bike, so ending up in the train station was new to him. He glanced at the signs hanging from the ceiling and was glad that there was one that directed him to Enma's old neighborhood. Shifting the strap on his shoulder, Tsuna began to walk towards Exit C. He tried not to think about the weird feeling in the back of his head.

Once he was out of the station he pulled the hood of his orange and white hoodie over his head to hide his face. He didn't want anyone to recognize him. The brunet always did this when he visited Shimon and he wasn't going to change the habit now. He turned to his right and swiftly walked down the sidewalk, mindful of the other people walking as well. He turned around a corner and saw the sidewalk nearly empty so he burst into a sprint. The weird feeling still hadn't gone away.

He turned around another corner and slowed down, his breaths deep and uneven. Reborn's physical training had helped to improve his stamina so he wasn't as out of breath as he would have been, but he ran at full speed, hoping to shake off the feeling he had. It didn't work. After taking a few more breaths his breathing began to even out, and started to walk towards his destination. All around him the houses screamed 'familiar' and he didn't like it, but he dealt with it. Tsuna just stayed focused on the reason why he was here. He needed to make sure Mami was okay.

After a few minutes he came to Enma's old house and Mami's current residence. Tsuna gulped, scared to press the doorbell. He had no idea of what he would encounter here. What if he walked into a crime scene? What if someone else lived here and he made a fool of himself? The brunet shook his head and pushed those thoughts to the back of his head. He had to check on Mami. The weird feeling was still there but he ignored it, thinking it had something to do with lying to his family and friends.

Pressing the doorbell, he held his breath. He heard a muffled "Coming!" but he couldn't tell if the voice was familiar or not. When the door was swung open he gasped on instinct.

"Tsu-chan?" Mami asked in surprise. "Why are you here?!"

He smiled weakly. "Well, I tried to call you back after you hung up abruptly, but the phone wouldn't connect and I wanted to make sure you were okay."

Mami tilted her head to the side. "It wouldn't connect? But I wasn't using it." She stepped inside and moved out of the way to allow Tsuna into the house. He did so and began to take off his shoes as she continued, "Maybe there was something wrong with the connection. Either way, I'm glad you're here. I didn't get to tell you about the letter Enma wrote me."

"Enma wrote you a letter? When?" He asked as he slipped on his slippers. He was surprised that hadn't gotten rid of his orange fuzzy slippers that he kept here for when he visited, but he was glad they hadn't.

Mami nodded. "Sometime before you…found him…" she said awkwardly as they walked up the stairs to her room. He noted that Makoto seemed to not be home, which was good. He wasn't sure how he would deal with having to meet with Makoto. The two of them were shy around each other. They had made small talk before, but he preferred to not be in his presence. The two entered her room.

"What was it about?"

"Well, since you're here you can read it." Mami said as she pulled off an envelope off of her desk and handed it to him. He carefully opened it and pulled the letter out.

Dear Mami,

If you have found this letter then it means that I have committed suicide. I'm sure you are currently feeling many emotions, some of which I can't currently predict. Either way, I have some important information for your eyes only. If you have truly found this letter then it means that the plan was a success.

The truth is I am still alive. That may be shocking to read, but it is true. Currently I am in hiding. Why, I cannot tell you. You may not believe me but I think our father may be becoming corrupt and I do not want you to have to lie to him, so I will tell you as little as possible. All you need to truly know is that I am currently alive and that you should reach out to Tsuna. I know both of you were shocked from finding my body, but that wasn't my actual body. It was an illusion.

Stay together, for my sake. Seek out Adelheid, the student council president at Shimon high. She can fill you in on the situation. She may seem mean and demanding, but she is caring in her own way. I didn't dare write the situation incase this letter was compromised.

I love you, Mami, and I promise once this mess is all over I'll return home.

Love,

Your brother Enma

"Adelheid?" Tsuna handed the letter back to Mami. "Is she new to Shimon?"

Mami shrugged. "I think so. I think she moved here a few days after you moved away and took over the student council on her first day." She shivered. "I've heard many stories of her…ways…"

"I'm guessing she's mean?" Tsuna asked before he shook his head. "Never mind, we need to talk to her. If she was a friend to Enma then she can't be that bad."

Mami shrugged once more.

A/N: Sorry this is kind of late. Some life issues popped up and I was away for some time. However, here is the next chapter! I hope you liked it because it's probably going to be the last one for a while. Life issues, we all have them. Sorry.
