Chapter 03 - Family Trip

"What?!" Hazel, Leticia, Nico and Alice screamed at the same time.

"I said we're going on a family trip" said Hades trying to sound normal, even though he was as nervous and worried about it as his kids.

"Dad" said Leticia "I don't wanna be rude but… are you drunk?"

The other three and Persephone tried to hold their laugh back while Hades was looking like an angry tomato.

"In fact, this was Demeter's idea" the god tried to scape from his children and wife's sadism.

"Yes, you were drunk" said Nico "And still is, for agreeing with her"

"It is not like I had many options. In fact, it was a good idea. We should start to act more like a family. I know you four keep up very well with each other. But in the other hand, Demeter, Persephone and I don't have this kind of relationship with you, or in between ourselves. So yes, I agree with Demeter's idea, and we are going in this family trip." With that, the conversation came to an end, with the four siblings getting out of the throne room in disbelief.

"He's drunk" Leticia said suddenly, breaking the silence.

"He's not drunk, L" sighed Ally "He just wants to have a better relationship with us. And with Demeter's idea of a family trip, he finally got the chance." The girl rolled her eyes at her sister's slowness.

"Oh" realization came in a flash to her face.

"It took you such a long time to understand, didn't it, sis?" Nico said ironically with a smirk.

"Oh, shut up, Di Angelo. Nobody listens to you."

"Nobody listens to YOU, Scarlet" Ally and Hazel tried to hold their laugh back, but couldn't help saying "He's right" which made Leticia get red and start cursing her siblings.

At the family trip's day:

"So" said Demeter "Since this trip has the intention to make us a more united family I decided to invite the hole family" she looked at Hades, Persephone, Ally, Thanatos (Alice's boyfriend), Nico, Percy (Nico's boyfriend), Leticia, Apollo (Leticia's boyfriend), Hazel, Frank, Katie (Demeter's daughter), Travis (Katie's boyfriend) and Connor (Travis brother, and if you hadn't figured it out by yourself, then you can jump of a cliff... Kidding, don't do that) "And I think we should separate to go to the house I rented for us to pass the week." Since no one replied her, the goddess continued "We're going in two and the groups are:... Hades and Demeter, Hazel and... Wait... WHAT?!"

"Persephone!" Screamed Hades.

"What?" Asked the young goddess "You said it's a bounding family trip, and with no doubt you two are the ones who need the most to start acting like a family." Persephone said and both Hades and Demeter were sending her daggers "See, you two already have something in common. You love me but are too angry to remember that right now." She smiled lovingly but still a little bit scared and took the list from her mother's hands and started reading "So, it's Hades and mom, Hazel and Apollo..."

Both looked at each other.

"Somebody kill me" whispered Hazel.

"Seriously? It had to be her?" Said Apollo, throwing his hands in the air.

Hazel and Apollo had a strange relationship, where he would be always trying to annoy her.

"... Leticia and Frank," continued the goddess and Leticia and Frank smiled at each other (L mostly didn't have problems with people) "... Nico and Thanatos" the goddess made a grimace, waiting for their reaction. Nico looked very angry, with his hands closed in fists and completely red, while Nate just sighed and hid his face in his hands (Yep, Nico is very possessive over his sisters) "Ok, this reaction was better than I thought... And now, back to the list: Alice and Travis," the goddess rolled her eyes. Since Alice and Leticia had a good relationship with everyone in the family, Persephone hadn't had a better idea then put them together with the Stoll brothers. What made her the happiest was to discover Katie and Connor had some problems in between, so she didn't have to put Connor with Leticia. Now the thing that makes her worried is the doubt of wether Alice is going to to stop Travis from pranking everybody or join him. "Now, Katie, you'll go with Connor. And that leaves Percy with me." she smiled for Percy, Connor and Katie, the both last just stared at each other, Connor smirking at he girl, and Katie sending daggers at him. Persephone started walking, being followed by everyone else. "Now choose your cars and let's go!" Persephone smiled cheerfully and entered in one of the cars with Percy on her heels.

The others entered their own cars and the trip started. There couldn't have been a happier day in this family's life.
