I don't own PJO. One can dream though right? I do own Kat and Jay however.

Kat

I was amazed by all of the things at Camp halfblood. There was a canoe lake, an armoury, and arts and crafts with chainsaws and blow torches cabin, and a cabin for each Olympian god's children. She even told

my father might claim me. I couldn't help but be secretly excited at that. After all, if my father was an immortal being, I can hardly blame him for leaving and not getting too attached. As Annabeth led me around

she told me about herself, how she ran away from home, and met Thalia, who was now a hunter of Artemis, and

Luke, who she refused to talk about. So because she was being so open with me, I did something I had never done before. I told Annabeth about how my mother died. I told her about the lightning bolt that

came out of nowhere and charred my mother's skin. "So as she lay there , skin burned black from the intesity of the bolt, I was trying to wake her up. That's how they found me and they called the cops who

had to pull me off of her. Annabeth put her arm around me consolingly. "I had to spend a night at the station, " I continued. "Then they dumped me off at an orphanage without a second thought. For the next 4

long years i was bumped off to orphanage to group home after strange things happened in each one. I finally ran away and had ben living on the street for about a year until Grover found me the other day

digging in a dumpster for food." Annabeth looked at me sympathetically. I could

tell she was thinking over the things I had said, and she was holding something back, but I didn't want to talk about it any more. I put a weak smile on my face, hoping to maneuver off the subject."So are you

gonna show me where I'll be staying? " Annabeth nodded. "Sure, as we walked in silence I was thinking, wondering what she was hiding from me. Once we got to the cabins Anmnabeth started explaining who

each cabin represented and what the god was in charge of. She was in the middle of explaining why Cabin 8 was empty when Percy came running up. "Hey, what's up Kat, Annabeth." "Percy" Annabeth greeted

with a grin. I snickerd inwardly at the puppy dog eyes he was making at me. Sighing, I asked, "Percy,

would you like to help Annabeth with the tour?" The question was just a formality and we both knew it. He grinned. "I'd be glad to." They began showing me the male god wing of cabins. "Apollo, Hermes - thats

where you'll be staying by the way- Hephestusus, Ares, and Dionysius. And over there is Zeus and Hera's cabins. Then lastly there's the Poseidon cabin which is my cabin. That's pretty much it for this side of

camp -" A conch horn sounded. Annabethlaughed. "There's the dinner horn. We better go up and finish the tour of camp tomorrow before lessons, alright?"

I grinned hungrily "Sure." "Just remember, Capture the flagis pretty much right after dinner." Percy said. "You'll be with the Hermes cabin, who luckily enough is allied with me and the Athena cabin. " I 'm assuming Athena always wins." I said, smirking. "Yep" Percy answered happily.

"Alright, that's cool with me." As we started walking toward the pavilion though something was telling me that I didn't belong here in this camp, that these were the enemy. I shook it off and we headed up to

dinner in the slowly fading light.
