Slowly opening her eyes, lisha found herself in a large bed in an equally large room. Taking in her surrounding the first thing she notice was that this room defiantly has an owner and the owner was possibly her age as there were posters of band like three days grace, guns and roses, and Michael Jackson but to her utmost surprise a poster of Helmut Lotti . Finally getting off the bed and spotting her bag, she realised that the bed was defiantly bigger than a king size bed and the ceiling was very high in other word the room was massive in its own way.

"My lord, she can't stay here"

Hearing the strange voice, Alisha tip-toed to the equally large door to have a better hear

"If I want her here then she stays"

"But sire you barely know her"

"I know her enough to know her pain"

"Pain?"

"Yes, father left her for someone else, she was abandoned like …. Me probably because she different in a way"

Lisha couldn't believe what she was hearing this... Person knew her situation yet she did not tell him anything, finally summoning enough courage she slightly opens the door to take a look through, trying to ignore the pain in her head.

"Sire you were not abandoned and I know your pain…. "

SILENCE… what you know about pains especially mine" xander exclaimed with utmost rage with a roar that shook the walls, causing lisha to nearly slam the door in fear.

"Sire please calm down …"

"If you don't want me to lose it with you, get out of my sight" he said turning his back on the servant who happened to be a white owl.

"Yes my lord"

"And tell my father he is still not forgiven"

"Yes my lord" replied the owl as he flew out of the window

Xander finally calmed down and turned his gaze towards the door which caused lisha to hide underneath the bedcovers

Finally entering the room after knocking without an answer, xander immediately noticed that Alisha was gone.

Alisha noticed that instead of leaving the room to call for a search party, he just stood there, closed his eyes and started to inhale and exhale.

After doing this twice he turned his gaze to the bed and slowly walked toward it.

Lisha's heart began to race

"What's he going to do to me?" "What if he gets mad at me for hiding from him?" but then the unexpected happened, he sat down beside her and asked

"Are you ok in there?"

"Umm… yes?"

"Are you going to be out anytime soon?"

"Why?"

"I would love to meet you properly and I wanted to ask how our head's feeling."

"I'm sorry but I don't know if I can trust you"

"Great job lisha, now he going to roar in my face and make me do something against my will now"

She thought but who wouldn't think that, he was more than a foot and a half taller than her, and was defiantly bigger and scarier than her with those long black claws and fangs he possesses

"Aww come on, I won't hurt you I promise"

"..."

"Do you find me frightening?"

"Yes" she said with a little voice

"Really well, I think you're beautiful...gorgeous in fact" he said coming closer to her face which was shielded by the duvet

"Really"

she said coming out from beneath the cover to look at him, for a "monster" he was quite good-looking in his own way she thought, his long black hair was tied back into a ponytail which trailed down his back, he was dressed in a black vest which showed his well-built chest and black trousers which showed his strong legs. Each of his hands/paws where decorated with deadly sharp claws as he had his arms folded across his chest as he sat beside her.

"Yes...really, in fact you're lucky I'm not one of the bad guys"

"Why" she asked causing him to turn towards her

"Trust me, you don't want to know" he said stroking her cheek with one of his furry fingers "but believe me, we have a lot in common" he smiled with a wink as he walked towards the door

"Now that we got that out of the way, I was wondering if you would like to have breakfast with me"

"OK" she replied getting off the bed and followed him out of the room.

Finally come out and going down stair with him, Lisha could not help but take in her surroundings just like the bedroom, the passage ways were huge length and height wise to accommodate the owners size and the walls were painted beautiful shades of red and black and made the house look old fashioned in a good way. Finally reaching the dinning room the table was laid out in various breakfasts' items and was defiantly laid out for 2 but instead of the chairs facing each other they were right beside each other.

"Shall we take our seats?"

'Ummm ... OK'

Walking toward the chair and pulling it out for her, lisha sat down but her mind was not at rest.

Why was he being nice?

What did he want from her?

Once again she was so caught up with her thoughts that she did not realise that his face was less than hand span away from her

"Umm...Lisha?"

"Eek!" She cried falling off the chair; she would have hit the floor if xander didn't catch her bridal style and lifted her over 7 feet off the ground.

"Hey are you OK?" he asked with concern in his voice

"Please"

She said looking him in the face, her brown nose almost touching his black one "don't ever do that again and... How do you know my name?" she asked with her brow raised apprehensively

"Lucky guess"

"Wait! You looked in my bag didn't you? How dare you, who do you think you are to look in my bag, you have no right to do so mister?"

"Whoa" he said still with her in his arms 'first off, the name is xander and secondly, I'm the guy that saved you from that shadow chaser so I took a look since that note was just lying there."

"Thanks" she said trying to free herself from his claws but no avail "but I still don't trust you and with that action I think I'm justified not to" she said looking away from him.

"You still don't trust me" he asked, if she had looked at him, she would have seen his ears fall and his eyes water

What happen next was defiantly on the other side of the spectrum for Lisha.

She felt something land on her neck and when she looked up she saw tear running down poor xander pale furry checks, despite every thing she been through she was not unkind and defiantly was not nasty.

"Hey look, I'm sorry I sound harsh but you don't understand how hard it been for me the past few days I'm sorry I flip out at you" she reach up and hugged him which he gladly accepted but was still crying so she reached and stroke his hair which was surprisingly soft and very silky

"I like your hair though" she said with sincerity causing him to look at her as she smiled at him

He stopped crying and smiled back and she had to admit he had a good-looking smile.
