I sat in my cell cursing myself for trusting Nico. The guy had sold me out to his father and I landed this cell as a reward for saving his neck all those years ago I was about to lay down for a nap to maybe get something form my clairvoient dreams/nightmares, when I saw the stone wall start to fade. I uncapped Riptide and lunged before I could get a proper glimpse of who it was. The whoever it was landed with an oof on his back narrowly avoiding skewering himself on his stygian iron sword. "Nico!" I growled "Want…to…rescue!" He choked out. I thought about it, and it looked like I had to trust him to get out of this Underworld maze. I let him up. He gasped and weezed for a couple of seconds, then got up. "C'mon, let's go."He said, motioning towards the open passageway. We walked through endless tunnels and turned right, left, up down and every way you can imagine, before finally coming into view with the river Styx. Nico motioned "the River is right there." He said, looking over his shoulder nervously. "What's up?" I asked suspiciously. He shrugged sheepishly. "I'm worried that My dad will find out and come after us with zombies carrying grenade launchers." I nodded. It was a fair concern. I walked up to the river.

Am invincible! Percy nodded at whatever Mr Wounded Heel was saying. I almost bloew my cover laughing aloud when Percy tried to walk in heroically, but ended up flat on his face. I walked put of the shadows and put my sword around Death boy's neck. He yelped before he realized who it was and then we waited for Percy to come up just like that.
Percy
Just as Annabeth was Pulling me out via my Achilleus spot lifeline, I heard Nico yelp. I willed the Styx to shoot me up onto the banks, which it did, albeit reluctantly. I landed at the feet of someone who had haunted my dreams for years. It was Kat. She grinned sardonically down at me I scrambled up to my feet and drew Riptide. That's when I realized why Nico had yelped. She had her sword at his neck from behind, and she was slowly moving hi,m backwards."Hey Perseus ,what's up" I gritted my teeth at my full name. She pouted "You don't want to talk? Oh well." She looked over my shoulder and grinned. "Looks Like someone's daddy sent an army to kill you, Percy." She finally reached the shadows. I cursed. I could only face one enemy at a time. She saw my expression and laughed. "Let me make this simple for you. I leave via death boy here and you destroy that army alone. OK?" I was taken aback. "How do you know I'll destroy them?"I asked suspiciously. She glanced my way. "I think you know. I'll meet you again in the war in Manhattan mono eh mono." She tapped Nico's head twice and the shadows swallowed them up. I tcursed again and turned to face the army alone. "there were about 15 lines of Zombies from different eras. Hiding at the back, like the coward he was was Hades himself. "there he is!" he shouted. "Destroy him!" I yelled in frustration at the whole situation and the Styx responeded violently. It crashed upon the first 10 lines of the zombie army, destroying and melting them all. I was so angry and frustrated I did the stupid thing; I charged. Rifles and muskets pointed at me from point blank range, but the bullets all bounced off of my skin. Swords swung at me and broke. All the while Riptide was no longer a sword: it was an arc of pure destruction. I leaped and my foot caught Hades' chest. He went down with my sword pointing at his face. He melted into shadow underneath me, but his robe remained, with the tortured faces stil screaming. I felt pity for them. Nobody should be tortured like that for eternity. I picked up the robe and tossed it in the Styx, where it dissolved. "Be free." I said. Then I realized something giddily. "She was right!" I laughed. "She was right!"
Chapter 17
Kat
I arrived early at the outskirts of The Big Apple where I was supposed to meet my father. Nico shadow traveled away once he had dropped me off. I stood there waiting. Only one punk tried to mug me. I sucked him into my Soul blade and resumed waiting. I didn't have to wait long though. The mortals suddenly as one dropped to the floor and curled up to take a nap. I turned around. There was my father and our army moving in. "Katastrophe!" My father said once he got close enough. "Are you-" He stopped. My smirk as I leaned against the post was all he needed to see. He nodded. "Good. We are going to the Williamsburg bridge." He ordered me. I nodded assent and we moved on ahead. Suddenly Father stopped like he could sense something was amiss. He turned to me "There are Hunters about." I nodded and ran up ahead to the bridge. Once there I saw many Hephestus campers setting traps. Because I am a Kat who likes to play with her food, I cleared my throat, tapping my foot on the ground. They all froze. Then they caught sight of my golden eyes. One brave camper rushed me with his sword drawn. I easily sidestepped and swiped at him with my sword, not even looking. He fell to the ground without a soul. I raised my eyebrows at the rest. They took the hint and ran to get reinforcements. I heard a chuckle behind me. I turned swiftly. And there was Luke Castellan, scar and all. "You sure know how to make an entrance, My lady." He said still chuckling. I scowled at him and he slowly stopped laughing. "Why are you here?" I asked. "Lord Kronos sent me to make sure you didn't get into too much trouble." He explained with laughter still in his eyes. I nodded still scowling and crossed my arms. I heard Jason flying above me, and suddenly I got an idea. I whistled Jason down. He landed in front of me. "Yes my lady?" " I want you to fly me up to a support beam. Then you go and snipe with lightning on another." His eyes widened, indicating he hadn't thought of that. He picked me up and flew me where
I had asked. I sat down to enjoy the show. Father brought Beef Man out to lead the charge. I wondered why the Minotuar: one of the stupidest monsters out there. I shrugged it off and sat back to watch the show.
