Belle was happy to have her daughter back in the house. After a couple days of her staying at Emma's, it was good have Hannah under their roof again. She watched as Hannah ate her breakfast.

"Something I can help you with, Belle." Hannah still wasn't calling her mom and every time she called her Belle it dug the knife deeper in her heart. Belle was good at not letting to show. She reached across the table and put her hand on Hannah's.

"I'm just glad you're back." Hannah pulled her hand away and went back to eating. Belle sighed silently and sipped her coffee. Adam came down the stairs and kissed Belle and Hannah's cheek. Belle noticed he was barely using his cane. He was going for operation the next day and he couldn't be more excited. "I made your favorite for breakfast since it's the last breakfast you can have until after the surgery." He thanked her with a peek to her lips and got his plate. Hannah made a gagging noise and both of her parents knew it wasn't because her father had kissed her mother it was because her father had kissed Belle.

"I'm getting really tired of how you're treating your mother Hannah. Yes she made a mistake but that's no reason to be so incredibly rude to her…"

"Adam, it's fine…"

"No Belle, she's had her moment to be mad and now it's time to end it. I want this end today! Tomorrow I'm going in for a surgery and I won't be back in this house for a minimum of three days five at the most. During that time I expect you to treat your mother with the respect you always have. If I found out that you don't, trust me you won't like the consequences. Am I understood young lady?" Adam told his oldest daughter with a stern voice Belle had never from him before. Hannah looked at him with fire in her eyes.

"Yes sir. I'll make sure the little bitch…" She didn't finish before Adam had pulled her out the chair and covered her mouth.

"I'm sick of it! I'm done! You will treat with respect you can live at Emma's! She is your mother! She fucked up once in her life! If I can forgive her I'm sure you fucking can!" He yelled at his daughter. "You better have a better fucking attitude when you get home from school! To make sure you actually come home, I picking up five minutes before the last bell." He released her and walked away. Belle watched Hannah see how she would react.

"Adam, that was little much. She had every right to be upset with me."

"And she's had her moment now it's time to get over it." Adam said. He ate his breakfast in silence. Belle sighed and looked at Hannah. She went over and leaned close to Belle.

"You turned my father against me and soon it'll be my brothers and sister. I never should have trusted you." The only thing that was heard was Adam's cane falling to the floor than Adam yelling at Hannah. He gripped her upper arms and shook her slightly. Belle was out of her chair in a second.

"Adam, stop. Adam, you're scaring her! Stop it!" She ripped Adam away from Hannah and knowing that Hannah was upset with her, brought the trembling girl into her arms. Hannah leaned against her. "Adam, you need to stop doing this." Belle raking her fingers through Hannah's hair just like the therapist had told her to do years ago when Hannah went through PTSD after almost being kidnapped. "It's okay. It's okay. I'm here. I'm here. Bae!" She called for her son knowing Hannah would want him. Bae came down the stairs half dressed for the day half dressed in PJs. "Take your sister upstairs. Your father and she had a little confrontation." Bae nodded knowing what that meant and took his sister in his arms.

"Come on Hannah. Come with me while I get ready." Belle turned to her husband.

"Explanation! Now!"

"I've had it with how she's treating you and I lost control."

"Adam, you were doing so well with your anger management. If this is how you're going to react when one of the kids is mad at me then I'm sending you back to the meetings." Belle said referring to the anger management meetings that Adam had to attend after getting shot and being crippled. "I don't want to but you're backing me into a corner Adam." Belle pleaded with her husband.

"I'm sorry."

"I'm not the one you need to apologize to! Adam, she has every right to be upset me. I'm letting her wait it out. I'm not going to push her to forgive me when she's not ready to."

"What would you like me to do then Belle? Pretend everything's okay? Pretend that she's not hurting you? Ignore your feelings?"

"I want you to continue to treat her the way you always had. You have to remember Adam that I'm her step-mother not her real mother and now she knows it. I have faith that she will eventually forgive me and learn to trust me again but I knew at least one of them would be upset with me. I prepared myself for that. I told you that at least one of them would hate me and that just so happens to be Hannah. You need to see that she's not going to forgive me before she's ready no matter what you do. Adam, I love you so much but if this continues I'm sending you back to the meetings after your surgery." Adam sighed and leaned against the counter.

"You're right. I'll go see if Hannah wants to see me and apologize. I don't want to lose you and that's what will happen if I keep this up." Adam said. Before leaving the kitchen, he pulled Belle into a hug. Belle wrapped her arms around his middle and clung to him tight. "I love you too. So much more than you will ever know." He let her go and went upstairs. Belle sighed knowing it was going to be a long and bumpy trip on an unpaved windy road.

The next day, all the kids and Belle were waiting in the waiting room while Adam was in the operating room. Hannah looked over at Belle who nervously rubbing the hem of her skirt. She went over and took one of Belle's hands in hers. Belle looked over and smiled at her. She gently squeezed Hannah's hand.

"I want to apologize for everything." Hannah started. "Dad was right. I have been treating you unfairly."

"Sweetheart, you have every right in the world to be upset with me, to hate me even."

"I don't hate you. I could never hate you. I just… I let my anger for Miranda overshadow the love for you. I just wondered what you had done for her and it made me hate Miranda even more and I took it out on you and that wasn't fair. You're my mother and while I'm still upset that you actually did help her in the beginning, I still love you and I'll always love you." Hannah said as tears filled her eyes and ran down her cheeks. "I'm not upset you anymore it's just Miranda for blackmailing you and forcing you to do that. I knew she was forcing you and I was too blind to see it and I hope you can forgive me." Belle took her hand back and wrapped both her arms around Hannah.

"Of course I forgive you, even though there's nothing to forgive. You had every right to be upset and I could never be mad about that. I love you so much. You're my princess and nothing will ever change that." She kissed Hannah's head and saw the doctor coming over. She saw the grave look on his face and jumped up. "What happened?"

What do you think happened to Adam?
