Terror.

A vivid picture of herself was boxed up in a glass cube. It's hair was the picture of tar black sleekness instead of its auburn waves. The whites of her eyes were black and her pupils had turned yellow. Her skin was deathly pale and her lips were crimson. She wore light armor as the aura around her had began to glow red. She was the picture of a War Goddess.

Fear gripped her throat tightly. Bella gasped for breath as she trembled and quaked. She stared in horror at her twin.

Master.

Her lips moved and her watery, mocking voice rang out curiously. The War Goddess took a step forward as Bella took a step back. "Who are you?!" she asked weakly as he knees began to tap against each other. The War Goddess stared at her longer before saying:

I am you.

They world began to fade and Bella could make out blood-curdling wails as she recalled hearing the Goddess say: The sooner you get over your fear, the sooner this war is over.

Someone was shaking her. Someone was yelling at her in French, "Bella! Bella, ce qui est erroné, Petit voleur! Arrêter de crier, et dites-moi ce qui doit arrivé!" Bella pushed against the force holding her down and gulped down a breath. He eyes flashed back and forth, making the one holding her tense with awe. "What...?" she groaned. Helio's golden orbs and cropped hair infiltrated her vision. His brows were furrowed and his eyes twitched with concern before switching back to their normal blank aloofness.

"What happened, Petit voleur? Why were you screaming?" She stared deeply into his topaz eyes as Edward's face flashed in front of her. She shuddered and clenched her eyes shut as breathed heavily. "What time is it?" Bella sighed. "5:30. Isabella, what happened?" Helio urged. "It's nothing, don't worry about it. Just a nightmare." mumbled Bella as she stumbled to her closet before realizing she was no longer at her house, but at Charlie's. She cursed, "Helio, could you drive me to my house? I need to get some clothes."

Helio furrowed his brows before walking over to her closet. "What's wrong with these clothes?" He grabbed the sleeve of an old sweater, "They look perfectly fine to me?" Bella sighed before answering, "One, those clothes are too small. Two, those clothes have been in that closet for like, four years. Three, when I was a teenager I didn't care about my appearance; now I do. So can we go now?" Helio grumbled about little sisters and how they only used you for transportation and nothing important before stomping down the stairs.

Bella noticed the silence of the house as she asked, "Where is everyone, Helio? I could have sworn that Charlie had a full house?" Helio murmured something about addressing him as Charles before answering, "They went to the wolf's house to explain everything."

Jacob.

Bella sighed sweetly as she thought about his warm skin massaging her lower back. Helio scowled lightly. They walked out of the house so that Bella could see his big, black hummer. She grinned impishly at it, "Awesome car, man!" Helio smirked and nodded as he nodded at her to get in. The interior was made of complete white leather, and it didn't even stick to the back of her legs.

The chorus of Pierce The Veil's song King For A Day rang out loudly:

You told me think about it, well I did

Now I don't want to feel a thing anymore

I'm tired of begging for the things that I want

I'm over sleeping like a dog on the floor.

Her head lolled to the side as she listened to the lyrics. "One of my favorites." she murmured softly as more lyrics belted out loudly:

Now terror begins in a bloodless vein

I was just a product of street youth rage.

Born in this world without a voice, or a say

Caught in the spokes with an abandoned brain.

I know you well but this ain't a game

Blow the smoke in a diamond shape

Dying is a gift, so close your eyes and rest in peace.

Helio nodded and said, "Mine too." They sat in silence as the song ended and a new one began. Black Veil Brides, Ritual:

Praying for what your heart brings

Thoughts of escape and bloodshot eyes.

You're barely sleeping, no longer dreaming

Now what do you do to feel alive?

"You have a rather sad sound track." Bella said curiously as she pointed left. Helio shrugged and murmured something about him being melancholy. "That's cool." shrugged Bella thoughtlessly. She stared out of the car window and hummed along with the song. "Right there." she said suddenly as she saw her white picket-fence come into view. Hope Cali's okay...she let her thoughts wander guiltily. She forget about her poor, bloodshot dog. She would be so upset.

They pulled into the drive way and Bella rushed out of the car and onto her porch. As soon as she opened her door, she saw Cali sitting there, glaring at her as though she was saying, Where have you been young lady!? Bella smiled helplessly and keeled in front of her four-legged friend. "I'm sorry, Cal. I was meeting with people I never even knew existed yesterday. I'm sorry I didn't come home." Cali glared some more before licking Bella's cheek and growling at something from over her shoulder. "That's only Helio, Cali. He was one of the people I was meeting." Bella said soothing, not even looking behind to prove her statement.

"Didn't know you had a dog." grunted Helio as he roughly rubbed Cali's face. She nipped his palm before licking it in apology and walking over to her bed and laying down. "Well, now you do." chirped Bella as she ran up the stairs gleefully. First, she grabbed her robe and ran to the bathroom to take a quick shower before skipping into her bedroom and flinging open her closet door in order to look for something casual to wear.

In the end, she settled for a light, navy blue Nic+Zoe Chambray Ruched shirt, bluish black Joules Monroe Jeggings, grey Keds Champion Oxford shoes, and a cute, black bowler hat. She combed Scandal Eyes retro glam mascara and painted on light pink Nyx butter lipstick. For last touches, she slide on her jet fabric, multi-chain cuff and her Luv AJ, spike charm necklace. She looked at herself in the mirror before nodding confidently and strutting down the stairs.

Helio was wrestling with Cali when she found him. She cocked her head and folded her arms across her chest as she stared with amusement. They were growling at each other playfully and Cali launched at his arm, locking it in her powerful jaws. She chewed on it playfully as Helio fell to the floor, dead. His tongue poked out of his mouth and Bella couldn't hold it in anymore. She let out gut-busting laughter as both Helio and Cali shot to their feet. "Huhhhh.." Bella chuckled as she walked past Helio, grabbing the key to her electric blue Ford Flex. "C'mon. I've got shit to do, people to see, and call." Bella said over her shoulder as she called Mercy to tell her that as her first night back in Forks, she was having a girls night out and to invite Fay and Tina if she could. "Okay, babe," Mercy said gleefully, her grin obvious on the other side of the phone, "we'll be there! Are we meeting up at Nikki's?" Bella spoke her consent and hung up the phone.

"What was that? What do you mean girls night out!?" Helio demanded as he leaped into the passenger side. "Just what it sounded like. My friends and I are going out for a night on the town. We're probably going to go get something to eat and then change at my friend Nikki's house; we're going to use her clothes, because she has so many outfits she doesn't know what to do with! Oh! That reminds me, I need to call her and I need to call Angela." Helio looked at her startled before asking, "And how many people are exactly going to be on this little escapade of yours?" Bella thought for a second before answering, "Leah, Rachel, Emily, Kim, Mercy, Fay, Tina, Angela, and Nikki. Oooooo~, maybe I can invite Anna too! What do you think?"

Helio furrowed his brows before asking, "How in the blue blazes is Anna?!" Bella cocked a brow before stating in a 'duh' voice, "Anastasia, hello! Who else would I call Anna!" Helio stuttered before Bella continued, "Exactly, nobody! God, guys are so stupid!" Before Helio was able to defend his fellow males, the car pulled up and she hopped out of the car and ran through the front door.

Her father, Taroph, and mother, Mala, were talking to Jacob and Billy. Jacob looked awestruck and Billy looked grim. The rest of the pack was out in the backyard, along with the imprints and her siblings. She said a quick hello and gave Billy a kiss on the cheek before strutting out onto the back porch.

The pack was talking to her brother while the imprints, and Leah, were talking to her sister. "Did you invite them, Lee?" asked Bella and she watched in amusement as she jumped. Leah glared at her, "Could you be anymore sneaky?" Bella grinned cheekily before answering, "Probably!" Leah rolled her eyes. "Invite who?" questioned Kim. "You guys," grinned Bella as she noticed their wariness, "I plan on going down to Seattle for some drinks and some fun, and I was wondering if you guys wanted to go with!"

They thought for a moment and Rachel, Kim, and Emily nodded enthusiastically. "I need a break from the Pack. They're starting to drive me up the wall!" groaned Emily in annoyance, "God, I went to the grocery store for five minutes, I come back, Sam's broken the water faucet off of the house and was taking a bath/shower! That took weeks to fix!" Rachel snorted before responding, "That's nothing! I go visit dad for an hour, I came home, and the house was flooded! I come to find out that Paul had uprooted the entire plumbing system! The house stunk for weeks, and he slept alone for three months." Kim shrugged happily, "Jared hadn't done anything like that! He's pretty good on his own!" Emily and Rachel glared at her before yelling, "Don't rub it in!"

"Don't rub what in?" Sam murmured as he walked behind Emily cautiously as he watched Bella wearily. Bella rolled her eyes at this. I'm not that fucking frightening, Bella murmured angrily.

But Master, you are.

Bella stiffened dangerously at the mocking voice in her head. She didn't like it. The voice made her weary with doubt and fear; as if she will fail to do something, or do something incorrectly. It made her heart clench piteously as she coughed softly.

You put a pack mate in his place, the voice continued mockingly, ignoring Bella's thoughts, now, they are somewhat afraid of you, which is a good thing. Good packs run on the emotion fear. It is sure to keep them in their place and they won't attempt to take your leadership. You will remain Alpha, as long as there is enough fear.

I don't want them to fear me, Bella started, frustrated, then they would rather stay away, then help me. I need help; I need love, not fear. This pack runs off the fragile emotion love, as well as fear and anger. Also, I'm not the Alpha of this pack; I don't even know if women can be Alpha's! Jacob Black remains the Alpha, it's his birthright. I have no place to take that leadership from him. I don't even no how to lead, and I wouldn't want to lead if your guidance is the only one I'd be receiving. You give physical advice; advice for hurting others. I don't want to do that. I want to help not hurt!

Foolish Omega, the voice murmured angrily, this pack runs off emotion of fear, you can smell it in the air! The emotion of love is useless; it gets you hurt in the long run! Omega's do not love! Love is an emotion of foolish discharge and non-thinking actions! Omega's do not believe in such acts! We believe in equality, not singularity; something the emotion love usually brings on! Foolish Omega, you will see! Someday you will see the pain love causes!

The only thing this pack is scared of is me, and that's your fault, you stupid beast! Bella snarled angrily in her head, Love is a wonderful and beautiful emotion, foolish beast! The reason the a pack protects is because of LOVE! The reason someone in the pack imprints is because of LOVE! The reason the pack continues to have children is because of LOVE! Do you see, foolish beast?! Do you see the love that sparkles in the eyes of the wolves when they look onto their precious imprints! Do you see their visions of the imprints swollen with child; a life force like no other! Do you hear their hearts beat and blood rush as they when they realize that they had finally found their other half; the person the is best fit to bear them cubs and accept their love readily! Do you feel their pain as they watch their imprint go through hard times, and they are unable to help in anyway! Do you smell their FEAR and ANGER when an imprint is in danger because there LOVE is being threatened so brutishly! Do you see what I see when I SEE an imprint and a wolf react with one another! Bella fumed as she gritted out a few more things, You claim to be me, but you act nothing like me! You are filled with a barbarian type of anger towards people that I LOVE! I love each of these people with a love indescribable. A love that I can only think mimics that of a family that never welcomed me. Of a life that, as a child and now as an adult, I've always wished for.

The voice was silent and Bella took that as a good sign. A sign of respect, so to speak.

"Bella?" someone whispered in her face. Bella's eyes zoomed in on the face of her father, Taroph. Charlie stood behind him worriedly. "What?" questioned Bella, "What happened?" Taroph looked at her, concerned before speaking gently, "I don't know, Isabella. Ms. Clearwater came to get us because you were shaking and snarling. You were quite angry, Petit voleur. What happened?"

Bella stared at him quite levelly before asking in a quiet tone, "What do you know about the Omega?" Taroph blinked at her before answering in a hesitant voice, "We-we have journals from all the past Omega, but-" "Good; I think I might just need a few." answered Bella in a no-nonsense voice. Taroph opened his mouth to protest before her mother sent him a withering glare that said, You do as she asked or I'll skin you alive.

Bella looked around only to see the pack huddled in a circle around the imprints, looking at her with a dangerous glint. Bella's eyes flashed at the challenges; daring any of the wolves to step to her, to test her strength. Fortunately, none did, as they stayed in their huddled circle. "I wouldn't hurt them, you know. With my newly found instincts, I wouldn't harm a hair on any of their heads." They were hesitant, but eventually unfolded from around the furious imprints, their anger spicing up the air as she preened underneath it.

They began to curse out each of their wolves, much to Bella's humor. There were a lot of, "You idiot!"'s and a few of, "I can't believe you!"'s as the imprints continued at the slack-jawed wolves. Bella's eyes roamed over the wolves, in hopes to catch a glimpse of Jacob, but, unfortunately, she couldn't seem to find him anywhere.

"Bella."

Bella's back stiffened in surprise at the deep timbre but soon relaxed.

Jacob.

She inhaled deeply, smelling his intoxicating scent of pine, leather, and motor oil.

Delicious.

She turned to him, only to find herself a face full of chin. Oh yeah, Bella grinned impishly inside of her head, I don't have to look up anymore! Yay for no more neck pains! Bella shifted her eyes up to find his as she took a step back. Cold, stoic black eyes pierced into hers and she felt her heart stop and her throat clog. What the hell...? Bella ignored it and continued to look at him with a smoldering look. She let her eyes rake his shirtless form as her nose began to clog up with his scent.

Jacob had seemingly gotten bigger since she had left, but she still didn't have to crane her neck up to see him. He looked to be 6"7 now with even more muscles than he used to have. Her eyes gulped in the caramel plains of muscle as she raked over broad shoulders, thick biceps and forearms, firm pectorals, and a sturdy six-pack. Her eyes traveled lower and thick thighs and calves met her gaze, along with rather large, but clean feet. Her eyes shot to his crotch to see if the myth of big feet was true, and she wasn't disappointed. There was an irrelevant bulge there, but Bella didn't think he was hard. Arousal shot through her like a hurricane as she forced her eyes up to his once more, only to see a small smirk of satisfaction crossing his face, but soon disappeared as he caught her eyes again.

"Walk?" he questioned, his voice shaking through Bella like a bass-drum. More arousal shot through her as she purred silently. His eyes flashed at her before he abruptly turned around and stalked off down a path toward the beach. Bella followed him with a guilty smugness about her. I'm happy but guilty that I still have an effect like that on him she thought thoughtfully. They walked in silence until they got to the center of the beach, out in the open.

They sat in silence for a few minutes before Jacob asked/growled, "Mind telling me why you're not a blood-sucking leech?" She sighed softly before thinking about an answer.

"Bella?"

She stayed silent before answering, "I made a mistake, Jake." His eyes hardened and he snorted, "Oh, really?" She sighed again before breathing, "Jake, n-"

"Really, Bella, you couldn't pick up the fucking phone in four years to call and fucking talk to me?! Are you fucking kidding me!? The Bella I knew would have never done that! No matter how fucked up our friendship was, my Bella would have never hung me out to dry like you did! To think, I thought our friendship meant more to you than that! Fucking Christ, Bella; I thought you were a fucking vampire! A goddamn leech! Do you understand how much that ate at me?! How that fucking destroyed me!? Every night, I would wake up in a goddamn cold sweat because of nightmares about you having red eyes! What the FUCK BELLA!"

Her blood was swimming with dominance as his testosterone levels spiked considerably. Teach him, Omega, the voice in the back of her head taunted, Teach him the way to be a true Alpha.

She ignored the voice and let her lips peel back in a snarl as she spoke calmly, "What if I'm not your Bella anymore, Jake?" Jacob's eyes jerked over her in cold, stoic contempt as she began to taunt him, letting the darkness in her mind and soul curl over her words in coils, ""What if I'm someone completely different? Someone deadly to you; deadly to your Pack?! Because the girl who left here with Edward isn't here anymore; She was killed when something important to her was taken forcefully, rendering her useless, helpless, and depressed for two years! Two years, you fuckin' DICK! I wasted two years of my life trying to pull myself together! How about I tell you how I didn't want to talk to you Jacob; how about you know how fucking hard it was to just pick up the phone and hear your voice! Why would I call you Jacob?! For you to laugh at me and tell me how much you DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE!" Her voice raked up into a blood-curdling screech as her eyes bled black and gold.

Jacob's eyes had gotten wide, but he didn't move; he was stock still. Bella screeched again, her yells sounding like nails on chalk board. She jumped up and prowled quickly towards a tree before she laid punch after punch into the bark. Her head scorched with searing pain and the voice inside her head whispered, "You see why we don't love. Love is what is happening to you right now. Your getting angry at the love the young Black won't receive from you. Love is the cause of this. Love is the cause of all pain."

Bella growled and screeched before screaming, "Your doing this to me, you COWARD! Your turning me into a monster!"

"Bella."

She stilled, her body twitching and jumping with anticipation. His voice was quiet and soothing; smooth and gentle. His hands were gentle as they smoothed over her spine gently. His body curled around hers slightly as he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her gently. His head rested on her shoulder as his chest emitted soothing purrs. He nuzzled her softly as all the tension in her body was willed away. She fell limp against his chest. This is what love is, Bella thought sleepily as warmth blossomed in her chest, this is what's going to make me weak? This feeling I would kill for?

The voice was silent.

Take that, bitch.
