It was true. Bluebell was an elegant town while Konohana was beautiful in some aspects. Neither of the town were bad but neither were better than each other. Konahana was an expert in crops and Bluebell was an expert in livestock. A perfect combination if the town ever tries to unite. Both the towns cooking were excellent because of the ingredients they used from their towns. He had tried a sample of both towns cooking and both were equally delicious. It was over nonsense that both towns fought each other. The mayors were adults and fought like little kids. Even the mayor of Konohana kid was more mature then them and he was a kid.
"Is there anything you want to buy?" Luke asked.
"Like what?"
"I don't know… do you want to buy something in Yun's Café? They have delicious treats."
"Sure after we buy you the fertilizer," Cam suggested entering though the curtain door.
They entered the little hut-like house only to meet the young Asian girl. Nori was behind the counter with her grandfather.
"Hello, Cam and Luke. What brings you here on such a fine day?" Nori greeted formally bowing.
"Well looky here! Did ya come to tell this ol'man a joke? I know ya want to!" Nori's grandfather greeted.
"I'm no good with jokes…" Luke waved her hand smiling.
"Neither am I," Cam added.
"Well, then whatcha want boys?" he brought out his items in stock.
"Is there any fertilizer in stock?"
"There sure is! How many ya want?"
"5 please!" Luke put the money on the counter while he handed him the fertilizers.
"Thanks for coming! Come by again!" he waved as they walked out.
Nori smiled as she left back to take care of the crops.
Luke seemed to have trouble carrying the five packs of fertilizer. It was just too cute watching the boy struggle with the weight. Even though the pack made him, walk almost sideways he didn't ask for help. He began slowing down until he stopped to take a breath.
"This… huff… is so heavy… huff…" Luke breathed heavily trying to regain some energy.
"Need help?" he offered.
"No I can do it myself," he pouted holding the packs and continued walking.
Cam caught up with his pace and stared at him. "You sure?"
"Yes, I'm…sure!" he tried talking with the weight.
Cam sighed as he grabbed three of the packs and held them with ease. Luke pouted and tried getting it back but Cam held them high in the air out of his reach.
"Caamm! Don't be so mean! I can do it myselllfff!" he whined jumping to get the fertilizer.
"You can't hold them all yourself. Hush and let me help you," Cam rolled his eyes as they walked towards the Yun's Café.
"But, you'll call me weak…" he looked down kicking the rocks out of the way.
"I never called you weak. You're skinny, not weak."
"Isn't that the same?"
"No. If you were weak you wouldn't be here walking with me. You know you can trust me and relay on me. I consider you someone very close… even for the time we've known each other for so little."
Cam looked at him and didn't expect the full blush that was on the boy's face. The boy could was completely flushed and looked down at the ground. He held one of his silky white hands to his mouth while looking away. God how he wanted to hug the boy he was so darn cute. It was just so sinfully wrong to think of a boy in such a manner. What could he do though? He was cute.
"Ok… thanks… Cam," he whispered so lowly that he barley could hear him.
The way that he said his name made his heart skip. He saw how his named rolled off the boy's cute lips. Each day the urges to pin him down… the boy intoxicated him.
They were about to enter Yun's café but, Luke gasped suddenly making him flinch. He gave a worried look at the boy who looked scared.
"Is something wrong?"
"Oh noo…" he cried, "I need to fish 3 Smelts for a request tomorrow in the morning!"
The boy started panicking. His face went from a flushed pink to a pale white.
"Well lets go then."
"I'm not good at hand-fishing though…" he pouted.
"Come on," he signaled her walking out of the town.
Lillian panicked following behind the green-eyed man. She bought the fertilizer and greeted everyone but completely forgot the request. She was horrible at hand-fishing and several cases she left home empty handed. She was only able to catch any fishes was when Kana was there with her. Cam was going to help her but how could she make him catch the fishes by himself. He'll get all wet in the river. What was she going to do? She'll disappoint the requester! She didn't want that! Okay if Cam helps her out she'll give half of the reward. Yup! That's what she'll do!
She caught up behind him as they walk toward the pony. Even though she only held two fertilizers, they were pretty heavy. It was true she needed to gain some weight and grow a bit. Cam probably nagged her about it because he doesn't like super skinny people like her. She sighed walking beside him.
"Don't worry about it. I'm good at hand-fishing… at least I can help you catch a few."
She smiled gently but the worried expression didn't come off her face. The bad thing was if she went into the water and fell in her bands would undo. She'll have to be super careful and she didn't even know how to swim witch made it worse.
The thoughts rolled in and out of her mind. The worry was just overwhelming; if she didn't do it, Cam might think she was useless and not responsible. Oh, dear harvest goddess! Please help her!
They both mounted onto the pony. Cam gave her an uncomfortable look as he held her tightly. Her stomach filled with butterflies whenever he did that. It felt so strange but, not bad. It felt good in a strange way to beheld by him. Mary started galloping up the mountain to the nearest pond or river around. They went to the low-mountain on Bluebell side to be closer to their homes. Cam held tightly against her leaving no space between them. He placed his chin on her shoulder like he did earlier in the day. She could feel his breath hit her neck making her shudder. Her body felt so strange… like if it were heating up. She had never felt this way. Could it be Cam that made her react like this? There could be a possibility.
She hopped off helping Cam off the pony. She didn't want to see his face kiss the ground. The sight was funny but it could have been painful for him. They neared the pond that had crystal-clear waters the gleamed under the sun. A little duckling rushed away as they approached the water. She heard Cam giggle watching the little duck rush and look back at them. It made a quack as it went into the water with the rest of the ducks.
"Okay let's go in," he said folding his pants to his knees.
"Ok…" she mumbled doing the same with her pants.
Cam took of his shoes while she had rubber boots on. He glared at the boots making her sweat a bit. She took off the boots making it fair for both of them. Cam went in first; he shivered at the cold water. She giggled a bit while she approached the water. Cam further into the water only to trip on something and fall into the water. She started laughing while he emerged from the water with a fish flopping on his head and his hair stuck to his face. He gave her a mischievous glare and approached her.
"Cam what are you going to do?" she asking backing away from him.
"Let's say a little pay back for laughing at me," he grabbed her arm forcefully pulling them both into the water.
Cold.
The water was so cold at the same time warm. She opened her eyes just to see Cam's green eyes gazing at her under the water. His arms were wrapped securely around her waist causing her to flush and let out beads of air. It didn't feel like they were drowning at all. It was completely the opposite. It was as if they were floating in the air.
The sun shined on them clearing the sight of the pond. A small group of fish swam by them swimming around in circles. It seemed hard for her to tell if it was reality or a fantasy. The small bubbles of air floated the surface. Cam's hand went lowered from her waist making her let out more air. She nearly chocked and swallowed water. She still could held her breath and continued to under the water. One of Cam's hands went from her back and caressed her flushed cheeks. He carried an expression that made her want to faint in his arms.
She could feel her becoming weaker as he touched her body. The sensation that she had was completely foreign to her. It was much stronger then when they were on the pony. She could feel something boil in the pit of her stomach causing her to hug Cam. She could feel Cam's slip into her clothes. She gasped out again this time swallowing water. Cam quickly got up and pulled her out.
She coughed out the water that she had swallowed. She looked over at Cam who emerged again from the water. His shirt was stuck to his skin revealing his muscular body. He whipped back his wet hair and combed it with his fingers.
Simply beautiful.
Men hated or so said hated being called that. Cam was just too beautiful. It was impossible how a man could appear so elegant and beautiful. He could be easily confused as a merman if someone saw him. He was like a perfect sculpture with every detail carved in. His hat was left forgotten next to his shoes. He was like a different person without his hat.
The animals that roamed nearby stared at the strange scene that they were having. For some reason Cam gave her a memorized look at her. She shivered as he stared with such a gaze. It was as if he was touching every inch of her body with just his gaze. She saw his eyes flash down and suddenly go under water. Only his from his torso and up was visible. He gave her a flushed and ashamed expression causing her to give him a curious look. He cleared his throat looking away.
"What fish was it again?" he mumbled flushed.
"Smelt… 3 smelts…" she mumbled back.
"Those are the smallest fish in the pond. They're easy to catch."
He stood completely still in the water until she saw a few shadows move around him.
"There!" he shouted shooting his hand into the water.
She carefully watched as he darted his hand into the water pulling out the slippery fish. He quickly threw them onto the ground near their shoes and stuff. He pulled exactly four fishes out of the water with ease.
"Wow! You caught 4 fished with such ease!"
"You try now," he walked to her thought the steep water.
"Okay but, don't laugh!"
"No way, I'll laugh my ass off if you fail," he smirked at her.
Now that was real assuring.
"Stay still and wait for it to come near you." He pointed at a shadow that swam around her. "Catch that one."
She stood still as she waited for the fish to come closer to her. It kind of scared her how she didn't know what she was going to grab.
"Now," Cam whispered.
She darted her hand into the water and grabbed the fish. It felt strange touching the slippery scaly thing. She held a tight grip on it and pulled it out. The fish was small… a bit smaller then a smelt.
"Look I caught one!" she jumped in the water making ripples of waves.
"I suggest throwing it on land before you lose it."
"Oh okay," she nodded in agreement.
She was about to throw the slimy thing but wiggled out of her hand and into her shirt. She squealed causing Cam to panic. The small smelt had wiggled its way from her shirt into her underwear. She cried out, tears pouring out at the weird sensation that trampled on her. Every muscle in her body froze feeling it wiggle in her underwear.
"What's wrong?!" Cam asked her worried.
She couldn't seemed to pronounce words or even process the situation. It was just too strange. She could feel a little of her drool trickle down her chin as she clenched her teeth. How did the thing go into her underwear! Of all places it could of gone!
"Luke what's wrong?!" Cam asked again shaking her shoulders.
"Fish… in… underwear-AH!" she gasped though her clenched teeth.
Cam blushed trying to figure out what to do. Was he going to stick his hands in there? Oh why her?! Cam held her arms and looked down at where the fish was. Through her squinted, she could see the poor guy trying hard to do something.
"Ok… I uh… I'll pull it out," he awkwardly told her.
He held her with one hand while the other slipped into her pants. The boiling sensation surged again at the pit of her stomach going to her nether regions. Cam looked up at the sky closing his eyes. His warm finger found their way in her boxers.
She was doomed.
She was completely doomed if her notices that she isn't a boy. Maybe, just maybe he might not from the pressure. However, the chances were extremely low for her liking. She let out a girlish mewl when his finger came in tact what she dreaded. He pulled out the fish causing her to faint in his arms.
Cam felt mentally exhausted holding the bastard fish and the now fainted Luke. What the hell did he get himself into? Sticking his hands into the boy's pants made his heart almost jump out of his mouth. How was going to look into his eyes? Even saying that sounded so wrong.
He picked the boy up in bridle style and laid him on the ground next to their things. Man he really didn't weigh anything; the five fertilizers seemed heavier than him. He looked down at the boy who laid on the floor sleeping peacefully. Cam was still dazed from the moment. Why did these things happen to them? Why so much misfortune? Had he done something wrong?
He plopped himself next to him. He waited for him to wake up. It wouldn't look right either if he waltzed into town with look in his arms. Everyone would ask why? He wouldn't say he stuck his hand in his underwear because of a fish. Well, it didn't sound that bad. His eyes flickered to Luke's pants.
It really bothered him. He didn't feel anything… man-like down there. Was it that needed stick his hand deeper? He covered his face recalling the memory of his arousal in the water. That was completely unnecessary of him, shameful and wrong. How did he get aroused with just looking at Luke in his goddess-like form?
Ok yes, Luke looked like a complete water Goddess in a dreamlike state. Though reality is such a bitch to him sometimes… well to everyone. His arousal was inevitable and painful. Luke had come out of the water with such a dazed innocent look. His lips glistened as they were slightly parted begging him to capture them. His silky hair was stuck to his skin same for his clothes. His eyes completely stood out from everything else in the boy. His eyes reminded him of a cat…
The thoughts somehow started to feel foreign to him. It was upsetting how shameful his thoughts were! He needed to thank that Luke didn't notice the bulge that formed in his pants. Luke being as innocent as he was would still ask him what it was if he noticed. He pinched the bridge of his nose and furrowed his brows.
He looked to his side just to see Luke's parted lips. His eyes darted up and gulped audibly. No Cam… no… it's wrong… no. His eyes flickered back only to stay glued to the boy's lips and slowly trace his collarbone. His eyes went lower until he was at his chest. If Luke were a girl, he would have breast right? However, he couldn't see any. He was flat as a board or was it that he was hiding it?
He got himself onto of him and sat on his stomach. If he woke up, he'd probably hate him forever. Forever was a long time but he had his ways to make Luke forgive him. He took advantage of the moment and examined every nook and cranny in his body. His still wet finger traced over his cheeks brushing away strands of hair. His eyelashes were long and thick. His skin looked like a porcelain doll. He then traced over his cute pink lips. He felt his blood flow down where it shouldn't be. He breathed in and tried to calm down. If Luke woke up and found his raging thing on his stomach, he'd look like a pervert. Oh wait, never mind he was one already. A normal person wouldn't get horny from a cute 15-year-old boy... would they?
He put his hands on his chest trying to get a feel… As he thought flat as a board almost flatter then Laney, who was a girl. He then felt something rough under the boy's clothes. He could swear they felt like bands. Enough of that, he turned himself and faced his pants. It wouldn't hurt to take a peek. If they were both guys then it should be no problem then. It would look extremely wrong for a guy to try see another guys dick no? At least he could triumph over him being bigger. When he was taking the fish out he didn't feel anything out of the ordinary though…
His finger slipped under the cotton fabric making him anxious to know. He could feel the beads of sweat and water mix and roll down his face. The feeling of his skin was making him dizzy. It was worse since the skin that he was touching it was far softer than any part he had touched on the boy. His hand inch by inch went into the boy's pants. His heart beat faster than ever. He wanted to know… no he needed to know or else his feelings and hormones wouldn't be justified. This was his only chance.
"Cam…" mumbled Luke in his sleep.
Cam's heart jumped out of his mouth and he retreated his hand with such speed that it scared himself. He clenched the fabric of his shirt too scared to look at the boy. He got off him and sat next to him. What the hell was he thinking? How could do such a thing?!
"Cam…" he mumbled again.
He felt something warm touch his hand. Luke's hand was gently placed onto of his. He smiled gently touching his cheek. He really wished he were a girl...then again what wouldn't he do if he were a girl. How shameful, it felt like puberty all over again.
He laid the boy's head on his lap and waited for him to awaken.
Lillian started opening her eyes. She rubbed her eyes and was about to get up.
"Finally you woke up. I've never seen someone faint for so long," Cam muttered as he opened his eyes.
She looked around they were still near the pond. Cam had a strange look on his face. He looked embarrassed and… ashamed. He didn't seem to make eye contact with her. She started recalling the moments they just had and jumped up.
"What's wrong? You have another fish in there? Don't tell me it went into your ass," he mocked her.
"Hush," she muttered harshly covering her flustered face.
"Next time I'll get you a net so you don't need to go into the water," he rolled his eyes.
"It's not my fault it went in there!" she mumbled hugging her arms.
"It's getting late we should head home," he got up making her fall; he headed towards the pony.
She grumbled watching him walk away from her. Was he mad? It wasn't her fault the fish escaped and went into her nether regions. She gave a long sigh and got up. Her clothes were still soaked but not as much when they got out of the water. She looked up to the sky that began to turn gray. Dark clouds rolled into the land with booming with lighting and thunder. Well, she was super lucky today! She loved rain but hated storms and was horrified of the lighting.
Her luck couldn't become worse. Thunder erupted in the sky; a second after a downpour plague them. They quickly retrieved their belongings and rushed to the pony. They galloped as fast as they could away to her home.
She told Cam to go into her house while she took care of the animals. Her chickens were already inside courtesy of Caramel. She hurried inside only to be covered from head to toe of water.
"Didn't expect that at all," Cam's eyes looked dull watching the sky darken.
"Same here," she bit her lip.
She loved the rain but hated thunder. She was horrified by it. She went and took out her some clothes and tossed it to Cam.
"Go change or you'll get sick. You could wait here while the rain calms down."
"That's not happening. The rain here never calms down until the next day."
"Oh then, you can stay here! I don't mind," she smiled at him.
Cam gave her another of his ashamed uncomfortable looks. He probably thought it was weird staying over at a guy's house with one bed.
"There's only one bed though," he looked at the bed.
"It's okay I can make a bed with my bed covers. You sleep on my bed."
Cam shot a guilty look at her and looked down.
"Don't worry!" she waved her hands to assure him. "I know you'll feel awkward and weird sleeping in the same bed as me."
"No… it's not that."
"Then what is it?" she looked at him curiously.
"I… uh… might not be able to retrain myself…" he mumbled scratching his head.
"Restrain from what?" she looked at him puzzled.
"Never mind… fine whatever I don't mind either."
Thunder boomed outside making the burst of blue light visible. She squealed and dropped to the ground. Cam rushed to her side.
"What's wrong?" he asked worried.
"Oh no, it's nothing! I'm just a bit of a scared cat with thunderstorms…" she trailed off only to here another boom.
She squealed and jumped onto him burrowing her head into his soaked chest. She could feel her face heat up trying not to cry. Her heart beat faster and faster afraid that another boom would come. She was hugging Cam tightly too afraid to look anywhere. She was in between his legs; her small frame fitting perfectly in his arms. She could feel his hand smooth her hair as his other hand went to her back.
"Don't be afraid it's okay," he whisper softly, "I'm here with you."
"I'm sorry that I always bother you," she squeaked and sniffed in the snot that was dripping out of her nose.
"Me? Bother me? I enjoy being around you. I must be the bother to you."
Lillian removed her head from his chest and looked into his emerald eyes. The tears were still unshed in her eyes. He smiled gently whipping away the tears. She pushed her face closer to his hand. Cam noticed her action and placed his big hands on her cheeks. She blushed still looking in to his eyes. He placed his forehead on hers and closed his eyes as she did the same.
"No… you aren't a bother. If you weren't with me I wouldn't know what to do…" her tears reformed in her eyes and she chocked on her words.
"I would be lost too if I hadn't met you. I've had a dull boring life in this town since then. However, you appeared out of nowhere and brightened my life. You gave it life and color just like your beautiful drawing and lovely poems," he smiled wiping again the tears with his thumbs.
The lighting flashed again and the thunder shook the air. Lillian didn't flinch or squeal at all. She felt perfectly calm in Cam's giant arms.
"I've… always been scared of thunderstorms. When they locked me away in my room I would pass the whole night alone. The sounds were horrible. I was so scared. I would hide under my bedcovers waiting for someone to come. No one ever came for me nor did the thunder stop. I waited… and waited… and waited… but no one ever noticed I was there. I would sometimes starve in my room because they would forget to feed me. My window didn't any glass just old rusty metal bars. The baggy old clothing would become soaked from the stray drops of water that came from the window. I would be cold and all alone in the dark. The only thing that illuminated the room were the random lighting that would burst in the sky…"
"If I ever see those people… I will murder them and burn they're bodies," he gritted his teeth.
"You can't because they're my family," she softly spoke.
"Why?! They've hurt you so much! How could forgive them!"
"They have the same blood that course the my veins. Even with all they've done I'll forgive them but, not forget."
"That's why you ran away."
"Yes… and I'll go take a shower. You should, too. We'll catch a cold."
"How about we take one together?" he smirked removing his hands from her cheeks.
"No! I... mean… uh… we're both guy and… that's weird."
"No it's actually not. I can help wash your back."
"Noooo… I'm fine! Thanks for the offer though!" she sheepishly smiled getting up walking to the bathroom door.
Cam suddenly hugged her from behind. "Are hiding something from me?" he asked placing his chin on her head.
"It's a secret…" she mumbled.
For a spilt second she was from standing near the door to pinned on the floor. She gasped seeing Cam pin her down. He held tightly her wrists over her head and had a knee between her legs.
"C-cam! What're you doing?!" she gasped trembling under him.
"Tell me your secret. I'm dying to know!" he nibbled onto her ear making her yelp.
"I'm ready yet!" she squeaked again.
"Why do you kept saying that?" he leaving a trial of kisses down her neck. She could feel the strange feeling surge again through her body.
"Stop it Cam! It feels weird!" she squirmed under him.
"What kind of weird?" he smirked sucking on a sensitive patch skin.
"A strange weird!" she held a muffled groan feeling him suck on her neck. "Why are you making me feel so weird!"
"Does it feel good?" he whispered again slipping a hand under her shirt.
"…."
She didn't respond. She didn't know how to. Her body felt so weird feeling Cam touch her and kiss her neck. Why was he doing that to her? Does her gender not matter even if she really was a girl? She could feel his saliva on her skin and give a weirder feeling when he blew on the spot. She clenched her teeth trying evade a moan escape her mouth.
"Why won't you tell me? Are you enjoying it?"
"Why are you doing this! I'm a boy!" she said through her clenched teeth.
"Do you think I care?"
"No."
"Well ouch and yes, I don't care because it's you."
"Cam… why are you touching me in such a weird way? Your making me feel weird…" she looked the other way.
"Wait… do you not understand why I'm touching you?" he looked at her puzzled.
"No… I am supposed to?" she asked innocently.
"Yes, you are. I guess I'll explain another day. Go take a shower."
He got up and took his hat off. He sighed placing it on the table. She looked at him dazed by his strange actions. Was she supposed to know what he was doing? She didn't understand at all. She got up from the floor and blushed rubbing the spots he had kissed.
"Cam would it feel good if I did the same to you," she asked innocently once more.
Cam was drinking a glass of milk but spit half of it out and nearly chocked. She rushed to his side and patted his back.
"I said I would explain it some other time okay," he whipped the milk of his lips. "Don't rush yourself or you'll regret it."
"Regret what?"
"Oh god. Do you really not know anything? Has anyone in that mansion ever given you sex ed or what?"
"What's sex ed?"
"Well, this is worse than I thought it would be," he rubbed his face. "Go take a shower I'll explain it after we're dry and clean."
She quickly went into the bathroom and took a warm shower. She sighed as the warm water took away the coldness in her body. She turned off the water and came out. She looked at the bands that laid on the toilet and rubbed her chest. She gave a deep sigh wrapping them around her chest. It would be uncomfortable to sleep in them but a problem with Cam in the house. She walked out into the living room just to find him looking in her sketch book.
"You never get tired of looking at it do you?"
He nodded and flipped the page. She giggled at how concentrated he was.
"Do you want something to eat?"
He looked up at her a nodded eagerly.
"Anything in mind that you like?"
"Everything you make I like… but please don't make a chocolate party cake…"
"Um… ok then."
She quickly made something quick and tasty. She knew that Cam was fond of her cooking so he wouldn't mind anything she made. Their little mini dinner was quick. Cam put back the sketchbook and went under the covers of her bed. He gave off yet again that worried face. She was starting to dislike that face.
Cam was super worried. He was going to sleep with Luke. Would he be able to restrain his hormones? He knew his body very well. His body when it's aroused theirs no stopping it. Having this chance with Luke scared him. He didn't want to do something he was going to regret. Worse of all he was going to explain the wondrous and also dreadful world of sex.
They both sat on the bed. Luke gave him a clueless look and he had a horrible red blush splattered on his face.
"Ok… so what's sex?" he asked sitting crisscross on the bed.
"Oh god… well it's something that might freak you out a bit. It will seem unnatural at first but, it's very natural." He blushed deeper.
"Ok?"
"Luke… we're both guys right?"
"Right?"
"We both have what's called a penis. It's the part that we have between our legs."
Luke gave him a confused look and a faint blush.
"Girls have what's called a vagina. It looks nothing like ours. They are also the one who give birth. When a girl and a boy get together and have what's called sex… they are making a baby. If they aren't they are doing it out of pleasure. Sex can feel very good but at times brings consequences and can only be done by two people who love each other understand?"
Luke gave another more confused look and half nodded. Cam sighed.
"Have you ever masturbated?"
"What's that?"
"Mother of… oh god." He slapped himself. "Masturbating is something that humans do to pleasure themselves. People usually feel bad when doing it but it's something natural that humans do. Both guys and girl do it and if someone says they don't it obvious they do. I honestly do it sometimes but I find it unnecessary. I'm not sure if you already gone through puberty. I'm not going to even ask if you know. Puberty is a process of growth that everyone goes through. Some go through it early so go through it late. It all depends on the person."
"Have I gone through puberty?"
"I have no clue. Guys get taller, grow pubic hair, and voice gets deeper. I see none in you."
"How do girls go through puberty?"
Cam sighed, "They grow taller, they're breast grow, they grow pubic hair, they're hips become wider and have what's called a period. Once a month they will go through a cycle where they release blood from down there. Some girls get scared when this happens and guys laugh at them. Never laugh at them. It's wrong and unfair. It's also painful when they're periods come which makes them more stressful."
He could remember clearly when Laney got her first period. It was pure hell. He didn't laugh or anything. He just got beat down and yelled at for no reason. He always would disappear whenever that happened. What horrible memories.
"Did you understand what I said?"
"I think…" he trailed off. "Cam why did you touch me like that though?"
"That's… what people to get someone in the mood. It felt good right?"
"…I think…"
"See. When people have sex it 5 times the pleasure. Though we're both guys we can't do that. It's possible but, I like you more with your innocent mind."
Luke blushed when he pinned him down to the bed. He kissed his chin and kissed his ear. Luke slightly moaned by his actions. He smirked looking into his eyes.
"Would you mind if I kissed you even if I'm a guy?" He whispered lowly.
His heart beat fast while his mind raced. If he rejected his request he would feel guilty than ever. The boy looked away but gave him a slight nod. His heart beat faster and joy surged through him. He could finally capture his lips. He held his chin with one hand as he closed the distance between them. He saw the boy gave him a slight scared looked and close his eyes. He back away. He was dying to kiss the boy but he didn't want to force him. He placed a finger and traced softly the line of his lips. His lips were warm and felt like the softest flower petal in the world. He liked him too much to hurt him… no he loved him and couldn't hurt him.
Luke opened his eyes and looked at him questionably.
"That's enough for today. Go to sleep."
"But, you said-"
"Go to sleep," he ordered
He slipped into the bed and faced the wall. His faced burned to the point he had to put his hand on his face to cool down. The bed was filled with Luke's sweet scent making him dizzy. The scent almost intoxicated him. He began to sweat as he faced the wall unable to face the boy. A booming sound erupted from outside. Luke yelped latching onto him.
Oh dear irony.
Luke gave out another girlish mewl as the thunder boomed. His mind clouded with thoughts that shouldn't even be in his head. How would it be if he made him mewl with his hands? God why do these things happen to him?
"Don't worry I here."
He glanced at him. He was already sleeping… how could someone fall asleep so quickly? Wish he could do that. Did he even hear what he said? What an ass. He poked the boy's soft cheek; he was dead asleep. He looked down at his arms that were wrapped around him. He kind of felt strange. What was he? A giant teddy bear? He attempted to wiggle his way out of the boys grip. Just because he was short and skinny didn't mean he didn't have strength. He sighed seeing that his attempt failed… another long night with no sleep.
Since he could get out of his grip might as well turn to face him. Maybe, if he tried to remove his arm it might work. They both had a long tiring day, so it wouldn't be fair to wake him up. He carefully turned to face the sleeping boy to remove his arm. Shit. That wasn't a good idea. He tried to turn back the way he was. Luke's lips were parted and rosy pink as ever. He felt his blood boil. To make it worse his eyes were closed making his long eyelashes look longer than ever. If Luke lets his hair grow out, he'd look just like a girl. He could just imagine him with long wavy hair being blow by the wind smiling back at him.
Before he could turn back to the wall, Luke hugged him tighter until his head was on his chest. Luke then wrapped one of his legs around his and cuddled with him. Boy, did he have bad sleeping habits. Yeah, he wasn't one to talk… he usually always slept naked. Don't ask why. Although, the boy looked like he needed to hug something to sleep. To add to all of that he fell asleep fast. It would be so tragic if the boy were also a deep sleeper.
He sighed giving in to him. He could use this opportunity to hug him and not make him think he was a gay weirdo. Not that he already thought he as a gay weirdo for trying to kiss him and always touching him. He hugged him back feeling the warmth of his small body. It was so horribly cute how he slept. Cam closed his eye in another attempt to calm his painfully raging hormones. He hoped to the Harvest Goddess he wouldn't wake up with one his dreadful morning woods. Damn, puberty all over again. Maybe, this was happening because he explained it to him. It rather ticked him off how even though he put it in the simplest explanation the boy still didn't understand.
His thoughts slowly went away as he drifted asleep holding the boy in his arms. He loved the feeling of his warmth. He had never felt so comfortable sleeping with someone. Luke was so soft that it tempted him to squeeze him. He inwardly chuckled before he fell asleep joining the boy.
Chirps.
He heard chirps outside of the window. The sunlight hit directly on his face causing him to groan. He lifted on of his arms to block the sunlight and try to open his eyes. A small yawn came out of him trying to lift his other arm. He couldn't feel it though. What the? Why couldn't he feel his other arm? He looked only to find Luke sleeping cutely resting on his half-dead arm. Owww. His arm was asleep. Luke's head had stopped his blood from circulating his arm. However, question was why was he sleeping so closely to him? He remembered the night before. Luke was only hugging him but, not so closely though. Whatever, he looked at the time only to surprise him further. It was 5:30. First time in his life he had ever woken up so early.
He laughed softly rubbing his tired face. He then felt something strange lower than his abdomen. He begged in his mind not to be what he thought it was. He peeked down just to groan louder. For fuck's sake! Just what he needed! Perfect! Thank you fucking morning wood for ruining his morning. There was a tent like bulge under the think covers. Was it that he was going through puberty again? What a fucking pain in the ass.
At least the good thing was that Luke wouldn't be waking up until 6:00. His grip wasn't as strong as last night either. He was able to easily get out of his teddy bear hug and get up. He looked down at the tent in his pants. Oh, how he hated seeing that in the morning. It was worse since it wouldn't go down even if he calmed down. He lazily walked towards the bathroom door. His body felt so sloppy and sweaty. It must be because he never woke up at this hour. The sweatiness must be from Luke cuddling with him. Another yawn escaped his mouth. He closed it shut after smelling his own breath. He sighed knowing that his toothbrush wasn't here. He went to the sink and put toothpaste in his mouth. That would take away the bad breath.
He took off his clothes dropping them on the floor and stepped into the tub. A cold shower would do the trick. He wasn't very fond on the thought of masturbating. Even if it was a natural thing that everyone does… he didn't like it, less in someone's home. The only times he would give in to the thought were when his hormones wouldn't calm down and that rarely happened.
He probably didn't like the thought for because of the talkthat Howard had explained to him. Howard made a mistake explaining that to him being only eight years old. He then became awkward around any girls his age. Even now he was awkward talking to girls. Sometimes being only eight, dirty thoughts would surround his mind not even close to hitting puberty. Another reason that he was so careful and polite to girls. Right then, innocent Luke popped into his thoughts. Luke… why was he so innocent? He had given him the talk and he stilled didn't seem to understand.
Cam turned the cold water on causing him to shiver. The cold water trickled down his toned body. He combed his hair back with his fingers and let the water splash on his face. His green eyes gleamed as he passed thought by thought in his mind. His flushed skin slowly started to calm down. He could still feel the raging feeling below his abdomen after a few minutes in the shower. He sighed having to resort to the weird natural thing that everyone does. Harvest Goddess what did he do to deserve this?
Lillian yawned stretching her sore muscles. Her body felt cold as the wind blew into her home from the open window. She got up and closed the window that let in cold breezes. She smiled looking outside. Everything was wet but, with a beautiful shade of green. She sighed pleasantly enjoying the view. Caramel was eating her breakfast happily meowing seeing her master. She smiled at her and went to pet her. The kitten purred then nibbled on her fingers. She giggled at the kitten who continued to eat.
She felt that something was missing… wasn't Cam sleeping with her? He wasn't in bed and she knew that he'd never wake up earlier then her. Where was he? She looked around but no one was in the room. Then remembered the kiss he had given her last night. Her heart fluttered when his lips almost met hers. Strangely, he didn't do it and ordered her to go asleep. She went directly to sleep after he told. The only weird thing was the thing he explained to her. She already had gone through puberty because of her period. She knew what her period was but didn't know why it happened. She was glad Cam explained to her about it. At least she knew it was normal and she wasn't sick or anything. However, what was the penis thing he was talking about?
"Caramel where's Cam?" she asked the kitten.
Caramel stretched letting out her long tongue in a big yawn. Her tail moved in a snake-like pattern as she walked to the bathroom door. She sat next to it licking her fur signaling with her long tail.
"He's in the bathroom?" she asked her again.
She yawned and stretched out again meaning a yes or so she thought. She approached the door and was about to knock. A groan echoed in the bathroom followed by a muffled moan. Her body froze hearing the noises. What was he doing in the bathroom? Was he in pain that he groaning like that? She began to worry. It couldn't be that he's sick because of the water that from the pond? She bit her lip and softly knocked on the door.
"Cam are you in there? Are you okay?" she asked worried.
She heard something make a hard thud and shuffling. She could hear the curtains open and again the thud.
"Yeah, I'm fine! I was… taking a shower!" he sounded desperate, "I'll be out in a sec!"
"Okay Cam…"
She walked to the kitchen and began making breakfast. Caramel rushed outside meowing. She was probably going to take the chickens out… What a sweet kitten. She began making omelets. The bathroom door opened revealing a flushed and embarrassed Cam. His face was completely red and with the ashamed look from yesterday. She rushed to him and held a hand to his forehead. He looked like he had fever.
"Are okay do you have a fever?" she asked touching his red face.
His eyes flickered back and forth at her. His expression had become completely ashamed and… surprised? He was wearing he regular daily clothes that were dry and clean. He seemed scared, too.
"No, I'm fine…" he trialed of backing away from her.
"I heard a thud in the bathroom and you groaning… are you sure you're okay?"
He flinched and his face became a glowing red.
"Uhh… yeah… I was… uh… I fell," he couldn't find the right words so say.
"You fell in the shower?" well that sounded weird.
"Yeah. Have a problem for being human?" he muttered looking away.
"No! Why would you say that?"
"No reason… never mind. I'm starving."
She giggled and signaled to the table and went back to the kitchen. She placed the omelets in two separate plates and placed then on the table with two tall glasses of milk.
"Here you go," she smiled sitting in her seat.
Cam didn't make any eye contact with her, which saddened her. He was avoiding her gaze and looked nervous around her.
"You have bad sleeping habits," he said chewing.
"Why?"
"Don't you remember last night? You confused me with a teddy bear."
She gulped audibly and felt a faint blush take over her cheeks.
"I did?"
"Hmm, so you were dead asleep," he took a sip of the milk, "I envy that."
"Wait… you mean I hugged you sleeping? Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! I forgot to tell you… I do that sometimes but, I fall asleep to quickly…"
"No kidding. I'm surprised you don't snore," he rolled his eyes.
"Sorry, and I'm also a deep sleeper," she mumbled. "I won't wake up even if you throw me off the bed…"
"Wow."
"Yeah," she mumbled again.
They ate quietly until they finished. Lillian took the empty dishes and placed them in the sink. Cam walked out with her. He still wore that look that was really bugging her. Was he upset that she slept so closely to him seeing her only as a guy? Well who wouldn't be? But, he attempt to kiss her.
Cam felt utterly petrified. He had been caught in the bathroom doing a shameful act in another home. The guilt surged his body making him almost throw up what he ate. Even his bruised muscle ached in guilt. He had fallen in the shower two times when Luke knocked the door. The good thing was the impact and shock had completely calmed him down before he climaxed. Just looking at the innocent boy sent waves of guilt all over him. The hairs on his arms stood as he shivered. He was sure he had at least thirty minutes to take off his load.
Even though Luke didn't notice what he was doing in his bathroom still ate away at him. Usually a guy wouldn't be so horrified by this since it was only natural. It ate away at him because Luke was a guy and he had done that thinking of the boy. He imagined the innocent being under him as he made him wither with his touch. Making him moan out his name and tease every inch of his soft body. Capturing his rosy pink lips again that almost yearned for him. He wanted to French kiss the boy silly. Such indecent thoughts covered his petrified mind. He felt weird being near him and hard to control his needs. He really needed to find out if he was a girl or not or else he'll go insane. He didn't mind loving another guy but, maybe there was a chance that he was a girl.
He rubbed his bruises while accompanying Luke to take care of the animals. Everything outside was fresh and green from the storm that hit the land in the night. The chicken were already taken care of by Caramel. Luke bought five chickens and two cows since he had arrived. He had told him that he was soon to buy two jersey cows.
The boy was prospering and was very good. The one who wasn't doing good was him and his raging feelings. Since Luke's arrival he had felt a strong attraction than anyone else in his life. It upset him that he had this attraction while Luke and him were both males. He could now freely admit to himself that he liked the boy but only to himself. Not just like he loved the boy.
He leaned on the short wooden fences waiting for him. The boy walked out with the two cows on each side. He took and his tools and began milking the cows. Then, he brushed them and pet them. He smiled at the him. Luke cared for his animals and probably adored him. He was just too gentle, kind and innocent. He didn't seem to bare one bad bone in his body. Cam adjusted his hat while watching him brush clean the cows. He let out another big yawn wiping the small bead of tears that formed in his eyes. He stretched his muscle and got up.
"Cam! I'm done!" Luke yelled running towards him. "You have work today right?"
"Yeah."
"Let's go then!" he smiled walking towards the town.
"I don't feel like working today though," he stretched out again.
"Don't be lazy!" Luke huffed. "That's irresponsible!"
"It's not like anyone comes to buy anything…" he gave his regular blank expression. "Are you going to accompany me?"
"I don't know. I have work that I have to do myself," he said disappointed. "Well maybe if you talked more to everyone they might want to buy them. Hey! If you make something creative in the stand to make it more approachable!"
"Are you saying my stand is plain?" he frowned.
"Yes, very. You should put on decoration and different kinds of things with the flowers! You could give samples of perfume or make a line of flowers spell you stand's name! Just standing there all day won't get you anywhere!" his eyes sparkled in inspiration.
Cam was stunned by the boy's words. He was very honest and straightforward with him plus creative. It was true what he said. His stand was boring and unapproachable though he couldn't help it. He would stand there all day and just wave at whoever passed by him. Everyone would look at him in an awkward way and rush away.
He had gotten used to it after a few years. Ash was the only one who would visit him now and then when he wasn't working in his farm. Laney and Georgia would just wave at him when they passed by. He rarely got into full conversations with the two. He sometimes found Laney annoying with her clinginess since they were both young. Georgia always found ways to get them together but failed each time. He saw Laney only as a little sister nothing more. Yeah, life's a bitch, what could he do?
"Maybe your right… could you help me out?"
"Sure! It could be fun!" he smiled, his yellow his sparkled brighter.
He smiled and wrapped one of his arms around the boy's neck. Luke squeaked in surprise trying to escape his grip. He held him tightly while ruffling his hair roughly. They laughed walking like two drunks in a sloppy zigzag.
"Ahaha! Stop it hurts!" he laughed harder trying to squeeze his grip.
"Ok fine!" he laughed releasing him but still clung to him.
Luke did the same to him and wrapped his arm around his neck. They continued laughing loudly and walking like drunks. If anyone saw them… they would think they were crazy… and drunk. Cam let go and started walking normally. Luke became quiet next to him but put no mind to it. He heard something run at him and looked back.
"Got you!" yelled Luke jumping onto his back.
"I think it's the other way around," he smirked
Even though he had jumped onto him with force he didn't even budge from the spot. His arms were wrapped around his neck while his legs did the same to his waist.
"Were you trying to knock me down?"
"Yeahh… something like that... though it did nothing to you," he pouted.
"Oh well, I guess," he walked into town with Luke on his back. He held his legs for support so he wouldn't fall off.
"Uhh.. You can let me down now…" he squeaked embarrassed.
"Why?" he asked curious.
"Because we're in town. We look like two crazy people!" he covered his face hiding his blush.
"Do you think I give a flying shit?" he huffed.
"Why do you have to cuss?" he panicked.
"I don't know. It's just the way I am. Anyway, why are you so worried if someone see's us?"
"We're both… guys?"
"Are you asking me that we're both guys or are you telling me?"
"I… uh.. Telling you."
"Well, I don't care what people think. If they have a problem they should tell it to my face," he huffed again glaring at the floor.
Luke snuggled into his neck sending shiver down his spine. A blush became visible on his face.
"Thanks… Cam," a girl's voice whispered into his ear.
His heart stopped hearing the sweet honey voice that sounded like bells in his ears. A voice that could be confused with the harvest goddess. It paralyzed his body making his lips tremble. He wished he were able to see the boy's face. He needed to see his face.
"Is something wrong?" the unfamiliar voice whispered again.
Luke slowly got off of his back and went around to look at him. He stared at the boy in utter surprise. Was he hearing messed up, drunk, or did Luke sound like a girl? It couldn't be. Was he seriously drunk or what?
"Something wrong?" he asked again but the voice he heard wasn't the same.
It was the same old regular Luke that he always knew. He shook his head, "Yeah I…just spaced out for a moment. Sorry," he apologized.
"Ok?" he looked at him puzzled. "Weird…"
"Whatever… go give the smelts to the requester. I'll be in the stand preparing."
"Ok!" he smiled walking towards Georgia's house.
He yawned and adjusted his purple hat once more. His plain little stand was completely closed and everything were in the boxes. What a drag.
"Cam!" a voice yelled out.
He groaned imagining how bad his migraines were going to be today.
"Hey! What happened to you yesterday?!" Ash asked him worried. "I didn't see you the rest of the day and you weren't in the Café! The storm hit suddenly and you were missing!"
"I'm fine. I was in Luke's house. I stayed over since it started pouring outside," he blankly explained.
"How could you be so calm with that blank face! We were all worried about you!" Ash huffed stomping.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to worry all of you…" he looked down.
"It's fine buddy! As long as you're okay!" he cheerfully patted his back. "Hey did anything happen between the two of you?"
"What do you mean?" Cam asked raising a brow.
"Oh.. Uh nothing! Hehe…Well see you later! I need to help Cheryl with something!" the boy laughed suspiciously.
"Alright see you later," he watched the boy run off back to his farm. What was that all about?
He started opening his stand and prepared his flowers. He awaited the boy to come back and share his bright ideas. He smiled to himself unpacking the boxes.
Two hours had passed since he set up his stand. He could see the boy run around the town completing requests and jobs. He sighed and pulled a chair. Like he thought, no one would come to his tiny boring stand. He placed his chin in his hand and looked at the town with a plain bored face. It was boring but he could at least watch what happens in the town whenever he worked. He could see Cheryl trying to cause mischief to her brother who was working… or goofing off. He couldn't tell the difference since he was such a goof ball. Although, he has been acting strange the past few days or so since the last time the three of them were together. Oh well, he didn't put any mind to it.
Georgia was talking to Laney who blushed each time she looked his way. Georgia giggled at her while also glancing his way meaning trouble. Oh no, not another failed date. Why does she even try? She even went so low on asking Georgia to set them up and improvise on her terrible lies. The girl would be a lame actress if she ever wanted to be one and Georgia was boyish as ever. Couldn't she find a hair comb or did she not own one?
His hair was ruffled only when he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed and he was a guy. Georgia was a beautiful girl with strange but exotic reddish hair. She just needed to learn some manners, what make-up was for, know what clothes to choose, and a damn hairbrush or whatever she could use on that fur ball on her head. Who knows why Kana likes her so much that's if he even likes her since the rumors spread around.
He looked to the other side of town. Eileen was working on yet another project. It was strange to find her sketching her plans outside. She usually did them inside her house. Rutger and Rose were on a one of their little weird romantic dates they always went on. He admired the old couple for their extremely long relationship.
Who knows how long they had been together. He wondered if they ever had kids. They never seem to talk about having kids or anything. They might not have been able to have any.
Luke ran by the couple and waved at them. He stopped and ran back to them. He gave Rutger a bouquet of red roses; the ones he bought from him the other day. Rutger jumped in joy and gave Luke something in return. He blushed handing the flowers to his wife. Rose accepted the flowers and gave a peck on his cheek. Luke giggled watching the couple interact and bid them good-bye.
He wished he could do the same with Luke. He liked flowers but he would think it was going too far with their strange relationship. He sighed making circles on the wooden stand.
"Don't bore yourself to death," he heard him giggle as he approached his stand.
"I've been sitting here for 2 hours. I would of died a long time ago," he muttered still making the circles.
"Oh come on! Cheer up. I'm here now. Don't be Mr. Grumpy."
"Finneeee… what was it that you were suggesting I should do?" he said getting up from the chair.
He stretched his sore muscles. Two hours in a chair was an ass killer and leg killer.
"Well…" he trailed off walking around the stand.
"What?"
"We should paint the stand! It will make it more attractive!" He twirled around the stand once more.
"I'm bad at painting."
"I'm not," he teased him.
"Ok, are you going to paint it all by yourself?" he frowned.
"Yeah. Though… you'll be making one of your finest perfumes and making samples."
"That's sound simple but how will that attract customers?" he looked puzzled sitting back down.
"You'll see!" he waved a finger. "There won't be any need to call them out… they'll slowly come to us," he gave him a big grin causing him to look the other way.
"I'll go ask Howard for the paints while you sketch out the design. He's probably going to bite my head off for not telling him I slept over in your house," he rubbed his temples.
"Go apologize."
"I know… you don't have to tell me," he muttered waking into the café.
Lillian sighed watching him walk into the café. Instead of going straight to his home and apologize to his friend and guardian who were worried about him he goes straight to the stand. Was he an idiot? Yeah, probably was.
She took a pencil out of her bag and began sketching. A brilliant idea had occurred to her while talking to Cam. Since Cam always smelled like flowers and kind of resembled one it gave her an idea. She'll surprise him when he comes back but, does he even like surprises. The painting would be about flowers and their season! Nice, no? She started on spring added the spring flowers she knew of. She still only lived here a little time so she only knew a few. She drew out the settings for summer, fall, and winter. She'll wait for Cam to come and tell her all the rest of the flowers.
"Hellooo there," Ash greeted her cheerfully with a hint of red crossing his face.
"Hey, Ash," she greeted back.
"Whatcha doing?" he sat on the corner of the stand.
"Something," she cooed playfully.
"Like what?"
"I'm going to paint a moral on Cam's stand to attract more customers. He complains that no one comes to buy… but those are just excuses not to work," she muttered under breath,
"Hehe, Cam's been like that ever since he put up the stand. He was so excited when he opened his little store but, after a while he grew bored of it and only worked once in a while."
"If I were here when he opened it I would give a slap on the head and a get to work you grumpy lazy bum!"She laughed holding her pencil high in the hair.
"I would have done it but, knowing him he would kick me out of the way!" He laughed adjusting his hat.
Both of their laughter rose up only to slowly die down. She continued drawing and heard the boy become quiet all of a sudden. She looked up and saying him looking away from her and glancing back. He had full pink blush crossing his face and a strange twinkle in his eyes.
"What's wrong?" she asked gazing up at him.
"Me? Oh, nothing. I just wanted… to…" he mumbled playing with his fingers.
"To what?" she asked again.
"Uhh… um… Will you go out with me?" he mumbled only to make his eyes widen, "I don't mean like go out as in couple I mean go as in friends somewhere! Oh wait we're both guys so the couple thing is impossible and…." He continued mumbling until she stopped him.
"Uh… ok! It's cool. Later, when I finish all three of us could hang out!" she chirped and continued drawing.
"Not exactly… I wanted to go the two of us alone…"he added.
"Why alone?" she asked innocently making him rub his face in frustration.
"Because I want to spend time with you, okay?"
"Um, alright… I'll see when. Cam doesn't like when I leave him all alone."
"Oh come on! You've been hanging with Cam more than anyone else! I'm sure that he could handle a few hours alone. He used to be alone all the time when I wasn't around and before you moved in," he argued huffing into a pout.
"I'm sorry I didn't think that way," she mumbled sadly.
"No! Don't be sad! It's okay to hang out with Cam but, I'm here too ya know…"
"Alright I guess I'll hang out with you a little more… I never asked you since you always look busy. Your mom is really strict sometimes too… I don't want to get you in trouble.
"No, it's fine. Yeah she doesn't like me slacking off from work that's why she's like that," he laughed sheepishly, "Alright, do you want to hang out around the mountain?"
"Sure why, not?"
"Alright bye bye," he waved at her.
He ran back to his farm. The blush on his face was still visible… wonder what that was about. She shrugged and finished the last details.
Ash ran back to his farm with his heart beating a mile in a minute. He cursed himself for blushing and beating down on his friend Cam. He couldn't help it though. He had told himself he wouldn't involve himself. He just had to watch the cute boy run around the town. He had formed a strange man crush towards Luke that he sometimes didn't like to admit. He knew why Cam was always around him. He was cute and fun. Gentle and kind. Beautiful and sweet. It was hard to believe that he was a guy. Then, again, he could be a girl hiding his identity. However, that could also be just an excuse not to consider himself gay.
His mom would be utterly disappointed in him if Luke was a guy. He wouldn't be giving her grandchildren in this life. Cheryl would attempt to kill him if he didn't like a girl and go on and on about liking a girl and not a guy. Well, that hasn't happened but sure will soon.
He sighed as he watched over the animals. Cheryl was inside with mom probably sorting the items to sell. He watched the baby chicks walk around the place following their mother. He giggled watching them; they were cute… just like Luke. He blushed a little thinking about the boy. He glanced back; he was still drawing. Did Cam have these same problems? He should ask him later about it but without raising his suspicion.
He could see Cam walk out of the café with a tired look and a few paints. He didn't know that Luke was a pro artist. Even from where he was standing the drawing had depth in it and lots of detail. He wished he could draw like that. Tragically, he only drew stick man and even that was hard for him but, at least his sister liked his funny stick man.
He watched the two of them interact in front of the stand. He was rather annoyed how close Cam was with the boy. He was way too touchy with him for his liking. He even caused the boy to blush! What does he do to do that?!
It wasn't fair… He always had to watch from far. He started liking the boy because… well that was unknown to him. He just liked him. It would be sweet if the boy liked him back and stopped hanging out with Cam so much and hang out with him. He didn't wish anything bad for his best friend but it was unfair for him to hog Luke all to himself.
Yeah Cam was his best friend but, love was love and he was a rival. Ok, that sounded a bit weird… A guy liking another guy while having a rival who like's the guy you like. A love triangle? Must be… but who did Luke like?
He sat on one of the edges of the wooden fence. He felt sad. He wanted to hang out with Luke but, noooo he had to work all day. At least his mom had given him a break for later. He could use that time to go up to the mountains with him. He swung his dangling legs happily. He waited his turn to be with Luke. He only got to hang out with him sometimes. Well, basically when he dragged Cam along as an excuse to hang out with him. He wasn't using Cam he did want to hang out with him too. He sighed. He was so confused.
Cam started making perfume samples as he watched the boy paint a work of art on his stand. He was happy that his stand was coming to life. He fully admitted it. His stand was plain and boring even he wouldn't buy anything from his own stand. Well, other than Luke that made weekly buys with what he had earned. He was a bit upset that Howard scolded him so harshly since he slept over at Luke's house. At least this time he informed him that he was staying over again. Laney seemed all sad though. It might be because he wasn't around.
He finished setting up ten paper cranes in the shape of flowers with a sample of his perfumes. He groaned smelling the sweet fragrances on him. He liked them but, on someone else. He hated smelling like girly girl. He liked a more manly smell for himself. He looked over at Luke who seemed overly happy with himself. The sweet fragrances suited him more than anything else did. The urge of spraying some on his body soft and pale and caressing him was nearly painful. He had to resist the urge.
He set the paper cranes on a little decorative plate and placed them on the stand.
"That's so beautiful! I didn't know you could do that!"
"I didn't know either… Howard showed me how to make them a long time ago… but I was really bad at it," he muttered.
"Well, they're beautiful. Are you going to make me one too?" he half begged him.
"You want one?" he asked.
"Yes, please!" he chirped in response.
"Fine let me finish the rest of the samples first," he mumbled hiding his blush.
He felt a bit giddy of the thought of handing the boy a flower. That magic moment when the sweet boy blushes and he holds his hands tightly. The moment where he could capture the rosy pink- oh hell no! Bad thoughts go away! He grumbled to himself making the boy look at him curiously. He immediately looked away the moment he made eye contact with him. Curse his dirty mind. Thankfully his body didn't react in a dirty way like his mind. He gave a quick glance and found Luke staring at him intently.
"Am I too handsome looking that you're eyes are glued to me?" he smirked causing Luke to glare.
"I think Georgia's dogs are more elegant looking then you," he snickered.
"Woof woof…" he imitated while finishing another sample.
"Naaahh… your more like a cat," he mocked.
"I'm not imitating a cat," he glared back.
"Meow.." he laughed while he raised a brow.
"You look exactly like Caramel and sound like her, too," he mocked smirking.
"How?" Luke questioned wide-eyed.
"Hair, eyes, and meow. Yeah you look like her. You only need a pair of cat ears and a tail-"
He covered his mouth dramatically turning around. His face was completely flushed red at the thought of a very adorable Luke with animal ears. The thought of the sweet boy begging him to scratch his ears was almost blinding. Gladly he didn't suffer of nosebleeds unlike certain people like er… Ash. He harshly bit his inner cheek and wore his regular poker face.
"Are you okay?" Luke asked him innocently.
God why was he so innocent?
"It's nothing I had a sudden stomachache that's all," he spoke with a monotone voice.
"You're so sudden and weird," he pouted. "Oh hey, we should have lunch in the café later on."
"Yeah, I'm kinda hungry again," he stretched laying out another set of flower shaped paper cranes.
"I didn't expect you to be the type of guy to always be hungry," he joked picking up one of the samples.
"I'm not. Ash is the one who wouldn't decline a dish given to him no matter how many they give him. Of course he wouldn't like a failed dish. No one likes that."
"Yeah I know and talking about cooking… I've never seen you cook."
He flinched and hide behind a banquet that he was beginning to prepare.
"Uhh… yeah I don't think you want to taste one of my dishes," he laughed slightly only to die down.
"Why?"
"Because… the only thing I know how to prepare is a chocolate covered banana…" his voice continued to die down.
"That sounds delicious! I want to taste one!" he shouted suddenly startling him.
He nearly bleed biting his inner cheek so roughly. Was the boy playing dumb and toying with his mind or sexually harassing him? God it was killing and the urges further preparing his death since the simply scene of the sweet boy nibbling on the tip a chocolate covered banana was…
He shook his head and dug his nails into his hand. How long was he going to need to hold back? It seriously killing him!
"When are you going to make me one!" his eyes sparkled at him making him step back.
"W-when there in season I'll make you one. There not in season but, I could try to see if anyone has some in stock or in the city I could buy."
"Ok!" he smiled cheerfully.
Well, the sight was totally worth the trouble. The bad thing about it was that the sight would either not let him sleep or with wet dreams. He never usually had wet dreams and when he did it would be something he saw that turned him on. Other than that, he would rarely have a wet dream.
He sighed and smiled seeing the boy smile back at him.
"My, my, what's that delicious sweet scent?" Rose spoke making the two jump slightly in surprise.
"I… uh… perfume… selling… perfume…" Cam stood completely tense.
He felt something gentle shove him to the side.
"Welcome! How may I help you?" Luke smiled brightly at the elderly woman.
"Why hello again. Dear may I ask what that sweet smell that is coming around here?" she spoke softly.
"Why yes madam. It's the latest perfume made by our talented florist Cam," he quickly handed her one of the samples.
"Here is a free sample. If you enjoy the sweet smell of spring you could purchase one. We have many in stock madam!" he beamed further.
"My, what an energetic gentlemen ho-ho-ho," she laughed holding her hand on her mouth. "I would love to purchase one!" she laid out the money while he handed her the perfume.
"Thank you and enjoy. If you wish, you could also purchase a magnificent banquets for your vase at home. We have many combinations and spring flowers available," he showed her one of the banquets.
Cam gawked at him. The boy was shy and cute most of the time but he's completely different behind the counter. It amazed him in such magnitude that he seriously gawked at him.
"Yes I'll take five white banquets," she laid out the money.
"Cam pass me five white banquets."
He quietly nodded grabbing all the white banquets he had prepared the other day. Even with that, he still felt a little dazed and out of it watching the boy handle everything so professionally.
"Here you go! Have a nice day!" he waved as Rose happily walked back to the town hall.
Luke twirled on his feet and turned to him.
"Next person who comes you'll attend them okay," he pointed out.
"I d-don't know if I could do it…" he looks at his feet and began to fidget.
"Course you can! I'm here with you," he smiled patting his shoulder, "I'll help you out."
Cam felt his heart flutter hearing his words. The boy was small but, very confident, more than himself. He lacked confidence in certain things and it was a weakness as well. He hated how he would tense up when attending a client. It annoyed how much of a fool he would make of himself. He had always had a weak heart. It was worse when he was a child. No one could tell him off before he would start crying. Before anyone laughs… yes he was a cry baby and probably most people out there were, too. Now he was a man… well a teen since he still a virgin and single. Wow, that sounded horrible.
"Yeah," he smiled gently. "Could we take a break? I'm kind of hungry… more than I was twenty minutes ago…"
"Yeah, let's go I'm hungry, too," he giggled.
They ate together in the café and passed the whole rest of the day attending the stand. Cam's boredom was quickly replaced by nervousness. Luke would force him to attend the clients that passed by while he finished painting the stand. He began to have more confidence in himself after managing to sell more than 20 items that day. He felt proud and moreover happy that Luke stayed by his side the whole time. They went back to there homes that day. He grumpily changed and went to bed since he wasn't able to go and stay overnight in his house once more… or perhaps another day. He wished that Luke would stay always by his side but that wish wasn't possible…
"So how's everything?" Ash smiled throwing a small rock into the pond.
"Good, I guess but with all the work I feel tired," she yawned laying on the grass.
It was already nearing the end of spring and summer was starting to roll in. She spent more time hanging out with both of the boys. Cam started getting more clients in his small business and even clients from the other town. Of course, with her help. It took him a long while for him to get used to attending people but with her help he was getting better. It felt awfully lonely at times when Cam would work all day. She would hurry along to Ash and hang out for a while with him. To her surprise, he was amazingly happy from not only Cam's prospering business but also spending time with him.
"Same here… my mom has been nagging me every day like 24/7! She then starts complaining when I'm getting married and wants me to get married with Georgia! Sure she's a busty beauty but, I don't know she's not my type."
He relaxed himself under the shade of the tree. He sighed then gave a small pout.
"I would love to get married but, with the woman I love! Not just anybody," he grumbled shaking his head.
She nodded in response. She still couldn't get into the concept of what was love… It was hard figuring it out.
"Hey Ash?"
"Hm," he hummed in response.
She got up and sat crisscross in front of him. She gave him a serious and yet curious look.
"What's love?... I mean what does it feel like?" she asked cocking her head to the side.
He gave her a puzzled look and shrugged.
"Don't know. I've heard that when you're in love you can't stop thinking about that person. Then, again, its love you feel towards someone close to you or someone you care like family," he spoke holding a finger to his cheek.
"Hmm, no one really comes to mind and I'm not very close to my family…" she look back at him puzzled as well.
"It not a matter of being close it's just the fact that you care about them. It doesn't mean it has to be your family it could be your friends," he said crossing his arms.
"Then wouldn't that be just caring for that person then loving them?" she asked once more.
"You're asking the wrong person. I have zero experience in this subject. You should be asking Cam. He knows way more than I do. Anyway, love can come in many ways. Whether it's physical, mental, shown in affection or other ways," he mumbled when he mentioned physical.
"Physical? How can love manifest itself physically? How does that work?" she asked innocently.
Ash gave a petrified look when she asked. He looked everywhere but, her. He couldn't seem to explain it to her or that's what it seemed.
"There's no one here you know…" she looked in the same directions that he gazed.
"Uhhh, I don't know how to explain it since I haven't done it myself… Cam told me once about it but, I didn't really understand," he laughed sheepishly almost like if her were lying.
"Aww," she pouted.
Something galloping came rushing down the mountain. It sounded like if it were going fast. Galloping became louder until it came to view. A horse was rushing down at full speed while the man who was on it was yelling 'woo hoo'.
"Hey isn't that Kana?" Ash said pointing at the man who seemed to be having a blast.
"Yeah defiantly him," she giggled waving at him.
They both waved at him as he passed by. The galloping sounded further after a minute but slowly sounded louder.
"Yo, guys! How are mah two bro-das doin!" he yelled jumping off dramatically of his horse.
"Hey Kana," they said in union.
"Whatcha guys doin around here? Taking a break from work?" he asked plopping himself near the two.
"Yeah something like that. Although, Ash here more like escaped from work," she snickered patting Ash's shoulder.
Ash furrowed his brows, "I did not! I'm on a break too!"
"Sure you are!" she laughed.
They all laughed together. Kana roughly grabbed the blond boy and rubbed his head roughly. Ash cried out and tried to get out of his deadly grip.
"I can't breathe! Muscles… gasp… choking… gah!" He breathed after the man playfully let go of him.
"Come on you could get these manly beauties, too," he got up. "Bam, Bam. Fiya Powa!"
He show off all his muscles and laughed out and sat back down.
"You'll see when I'm an adult!" Ash shouted out then joined the laughter.
"Hey Kana… What's physical love? Me and Ash were taking about it but, neither of us know."
Ash shot once more the dreaded look. Kana shared the same look while glancing at Ash. She looked at them confused. Why do they always exchange looks whenever she asks something. It was bothersome how they always paused dramatically and even avoiding the subject.
"Hmmm, wellll it's basically just when two lover sleep together," he explained.
"Really? I slept with Cam like almost 2 weeks ago. It didn't feel like physical love… or was it supposed to manifest itself in your sleep?"
The two boys gawked at her with an expression the shared utter surprise and horror. They looked at each other than back at her. That was getting annoying. Why couldn't they just answer her question in a normal way?
"Whooaa! Uhhh… you sleep with Cam!" Ash panicked.
"Yeahhhh…"
"He didn't… p-put or stick anything in you?" Kana grabbed her shoulders.
"Stick what?" she pouted.
Why couldn't they just get to the point! It was annoying guessing the answers herself. She couldn't ask them anything. It annoyed her.
"Um… like in your mouth or perhaps uuhh… your ass?" Kana took a step back with a faint blush.
"Like anything hard like stone that's part of his body?" added Ash.
"What the hell are you guys talking about!?"
"Nothing," they said in sync.
"You guy can be so annoying! I always have to guess the answers myself… what's the point in asking a question?" she pouted crossing her arms.
"Sorry," they both sheepishly laughed.
Ash turned to Kana and Kana pulled him away by the neck. They were whispered to each other while they glanced at her. What's the deal with them?!
"Do you think Cam told him something and raped Luke?" Kana whispered to Ash.
"I doubt it. I don't think he's the type of guy to take advantage of someone. I know him. He's my best friend," Ash whispered back.
"Yeah, but does he sleep in Luke's house?" Kana asked.
"Yeah, sometimes especially when it rains," Ash responded.
They both looked at each other with furrowed brows imagining the scene.
The rain poured down on the small house. Moans escaped the sweet boy's throat as the dark blond male sucked on the sensitive patch of skin.
"Cam! We shouldn't do this… we're both guys…" the boy moaned between words. "You said it yourself! Two men can't do this!"
"I don't care I'm making you mine tonight," he growled letting his hands slid down the boys waist.
He moaned covering his frail body from the male above him.
"Don't hide. Your beautiful," he licked his lips and looked into the boys eyes.
He captured his lips while the boy moaned in the kiss.
"Oh god," they both shivered in disgust.
"I don't think Cam would be gay enough to do that to him," Kana shivered getting goosebumps.
"Me either, but, he sure hangs out with Luke a lot… more than anyone else! I heard rumors that Cam harasses him in public. I don't believe though. Cam wouldn't do that," he looked down to the ground.
"Well, Luke looks like a girl I would understand his confusion but, I wouldn't be able to believe he crossed the line," kana agreed.
"GUYS! Why are you two whispering to each other while I'm sitting right here!" she huffed tightening her crossed arms.
"Nothing," they once again spoke in sync.
"Stop doing that! It's annoying," she growled at the two.
"Doing what?" they repeated again.
"I SAID STOP DOING THAT!"
"Sorry Luke," Ash apologized.
"Yeah, sorry," Kana did the same.
They heard footsteps approaching the three of them. They Kana and Ash looked at the one approaching questionably.
"Well, speak of the devil here he comes," Ash snickered.
Cam casually walked over to them, "Hey guys," he greeted sitting down near her.
"Hey Cam," she chirped only to receive strange looks from Kana and Ash.
"What's wrong?" Cam asked.
"Nothing just made at these two jerks. I was asking them what was physical love and they suddenly became suspicious with me when I mentioned your stay over at my house the other time," she pouted glaring at the two.
"He said you two… slept together… Cam… don't tell me you…" Ash looked at Cam wide-eyed.
"Like damn bro… Didn't think you would do such a thing to Luke… how could you?" Kana looked away.
"The hell is wrong with you guys?!" Cam yelled.
"See," she grumbled leaning on the trunk of the tree.
"We slept together but we didn't do anything. Do you not see he's a guy?" he glared at them.
"Does it matter? It's possible between men," Kana added.
"Cam you said it wasn't possible," she said confused.
Kana and Ash looked at each other in shock, "What did you say to him?!" they both yelled.
"Nothing. I thought he could use some useful information from the talk," he said rubbing his temples.
Lillian watch the three of them argue with each other. She remained quiet… she couldn't say anything… since she didn't really know what they were talking about.
"Oh, so that's what you told him. Did you explain it in the simplest from possible," Kana asked.
Cam rolled his eyes and explained what he had told her that night.
"That's not the simplest from," Kana laughed.
"Then what is?" Ash asked.
"Ok, Luke listen up. Did you understand what Cam explained to you?"
She shook her head slightly, "not really."
Cam palm-faced himself and mutter, "I knew it."
"Okay then, I'll explain," Kana, laughed again.
"Oh, no," Cam muttered sighing.
"We manly men have what's called a dick. When you go through puberty, it grows. Girls have what's called a pussy. When we want to fuck a girl, it gets hard and we have sex, which is the physical love that you were talking about. The dick goes into the pussy and that's how you get a baby," Kana proudly explained. He formed an 'o' with one hand and stuck his finger into it repeatedly.
Cam stared at him wide-eyed while Ash burst in laughter.
"DON'T CURRUPT HIM!" Cam yelled at the man who laughed together with Ash.
Lillian looked at all of them with a confused look. She had grasped the concept of physical love but learned it in a weird way. Cam had told her that two men was impossible for them to have what's called 'sex' but, Kana says it's possible.
Lillian asked one last time, "is it possible for two men to have sex?"
All three exchanged looks.
"Your too young to know about that stuff," he ruffled her hair, "and why would you want to know any way?"
She glared at him, "I'm only a few years younger than you! I'm just curious…"
"Well don't be. You're seriously too young to be thinking about that," Kana spoke, "that goes for all three of you.
"Why only us? How about you?" Ash asked him.
"I'm 22. I'm an adult and I have plenty of experience. You're all minors. You shouldn't even be thinking about that.
"You're very right Kana. You heard that too right Luke?"
"Why do you direct that specifically to me?"
"No reason and the same goes for you Ash."
"I know you don't have to tell me," he grumbled.
Kana got up and patted away the dirt.
"It's lunch time and I am hungraaay," he hopped onto his favorite horse.
"See you later," they all waved him good bye.
Cam's stomach growled loudly and followed by Ash stomach.
"You guy want to eat lunch in my house?" she giggled getting up.
"Sure why not?" Ash chirped.
"Yeah, I would love too," Cam happily responded.
"Alrighty then, let's go!"
Luke cooked both of them a meal and they all spent their lunchtime in his home. He stayed behind to work on his field and take care of his livestock while they ran off into town. They sat relaxing in the flower patch and watched Ash's livestock run around in the back of his home.
"Cam you sure that you didn't try anything on Luke that night?" Ash rubbed his thumbs together.
"No, why?"
"Rumors have been going around that you sexually harass Luke…"
"And you believe them?"
"No obviously but, the real question is… do you like Luke more than a friend?" he asked looking at his feet.
"What would you do if I did?" he looked at Ash seriously.
"N-nothing. What would I do to you?" he laughed sheepishly.
"You would try and take him away from me."
Ash looked at him in surprise. He wore his signature face, the usual blank look. How could he say something like that with no expression?
"So you do like him?" he mumbled.
"Who knows… do you like him?
"M-me?" he asked.
"No I'm talking to the floor, yes you idiot," he sighed and fixed his hat.
"I… I don't know. I feel weird around him. I sometimes feel urges or just can't stop thinking about him… I think might be….. gay," he mumbled the last part.
"Your obviously in love with him. He deceived your heart with his girlish looks and innocent personality. I too fell for that," he laughed and rubbed his face.
"So we both fell for him, huh?"
"Too bad, he's a guy," he sighed sadly.
"Yup," he agreed.
"Life's a bitch."
"It sure is."
They both sighed.
"So even if he's not a girl I'm still confessing my feeling," Cam seriously told him.
"I won't give him to you so easily," Ash gave him the same serious look.
"Then, we're love rivals," they said in sync.
"But, let's not let this get in between are friendship okay," Ash patted his back.
"Agreed," he smiled.
Cam awoke feeling his cheek on the cold ground of his homey room. Another day had begun. It's already been over half a month since Luke's arrival… over half a month since he's been suffering unrequired love and worse, he fell for a guy. He grumbled fixing his ruffled hair and lazily got up. He yawed beginning another day in his regular life or at least almost regular. Luke's farm had been progressing in an impressible form. He even was able to fix a bit Bluebell's and Konahana's relationship.
Amazing how productive the young boy is… or let's say man is better. He stretched his muscles and looked around his room; a complete mess. It was a hassle trying to clean his room. He hated disorder in his room but, he also hated cleaning it. He looked at the window and saw the little bud nearing its blooming day. He smiled moving it closer to the sunlight. The Lilly of The Valley had grown quite a bit since he had planted it. Funny how it reminded him of that silly boy every time he looked at it. He snorted and rummage through his closet. He looked at himself and sighed. He really did need to get rid of that habit of sleeping naked.
He started his regular morning off and sighed at the peace in the room. It felt like a nice day was going to start for him… maybe a nice day. He got dressed and grabbed his favorite hat. He greeted both Howard and Laney who were cleaning the café.
"You seem in a good mood," Howard chuckled pouring him a cup of coffee.
"Yeah I guess. It's a nice day and summer is nearing, too," he sipped the hot beverage.
Howard hummed and continued to clean happily. Typical of him to hum in the morning. He hummed until he disappeared up the stairs. He hummed lowly imitating the giant man, waking up every morning hearing him hum got stuck to him. He chuckled enjoying the bitter drink. Laney gave a slight stare. That caught his attention. He raised a brow and watched her make her way towards him while cleaning. He furrowed his brows and wondered whatwas the girl planning.
He silently watched her glance at him; that was normal but, there was something different with her today. She wore an expression that usually he would never see. He placed down the cup of coffee and held his chin up with his hands. End of his good morning.
"Laney is something wrong?" he asked raising his brow again.
Laney had her back turned to flinch at the sound of his voice completely making it obvious that something was up.
"Your acting suspicious," he moved the cup in a circular motion watching the blond girl.
She slowly turned around and just looked at her feet. This wasn't normal at all, what's wrong with her? She was fine a second a go so why was she acting this way?
"Is there something I should need to know?" he looked bored at her.
Hopefully if his luck was high today he'd be able to escape from a soon to be rejection. He really was in too much of a good mood to let it be ruined by a teenage girl heartbreak. This seriously sucks. Then, again Georgia might be part of this… if she is he'll bite both their heads off. He continued to pierce his stare into the girl while she fidgeted on the spot. She was giving him that fake puppy eyed stare. Ugh, how annoying.
"I… I overheard what… you and Ash were talking about…" she got closer and sat in the seat in front of him.
He raised his brow again and continued to give her his bored look. She glanced down to her lap and up to his eyes. He smirked at her nervous fidgety form. This might be fun. Hey? Can't a guy have fun?
"Oh really? Moreover, what did you overhear in Ash and I's conversation? I mean you supposedly overheard right?"
She gave a slight glare/pout, "Of course! I was behind the bu-"
"Bush?" he finished her sentence.
"I mean… No! I was…" she looked everywhere but him.
"Eavesdropping?" he sighed and took another sip.
"Cam…" she looked like her face was going to pop.
"Yes?"
"I really…really like-" she looked into his eyes making him look at her in surprise.
"I… Oh! Sorry look at the time! I need to get going," he quickly got up trying to escape the girl.
She grabbed his shoulder and stood behind him. He felt cold sweat roll down his face. This wasn't good. Bye-bye sunshine day.
"Is it because you don't like girls? Is that the reason you don't like me?" she asked while her grip tightened.
"What are you talking about? Of course, I like you. You're like a little sister!"
"No! I don't want to be your little sister!" she yelled forcing him to look at her.
In the courner of his eye he could see a shadow but paid no attention to it.
"Listen Laney…" he tried to calm her,
"No! I do everything so you could notice me! But… you never do! Ever since that dumb girly boy Luke came into town you don't even look at me," she yelled only to feel herself being pushed to the wall.
That was so out of line. His good day now completely ruined! Great… just great. He couldn't stand anyone insulting his loved ones. Even if it were coming from a childhood friend.
"Don't you ever… ever insult him again," he growled lowly.
Her usually sunshine face look petrified looking into his green eyes. He could see the tears form. She tried to hold them in but they burst like a dam and rush a trail down her face. Her usually bright eyes filled with sadness. His grip on her shoulders loosened as guilt took over his heart.
"Laney… I'm sorry… but what you said was out of line," he took out a handkerchief and wiped a few of her tears.
"I'm sorry, too. Luke is a nice boy… I was being mean… but, Cam, I love you…" she touched his hand. "I was always there. I was always watching you from afar… I could never come close to you… you were always so far away," she stretched out to touch his cheek.
This wasn't his day. He couldn't accept her nor could he reject her. This was a seriously a difficult situation… He'll have to tell the truth…
"Laney I-" something caught his eye. He looked to the side and found a certain someone standing there watching them confused.
"Uh… sorry if I was interrupting anything," Luke stood there awkwardly and slowly stepped out.
"Luke! No! This isn't what it looks like!" he ran after him leaving torn apart Laney dumbfounded.
This wasn't good. Luke saw him and Laney together and real close! He must've gotten the wrong idea! God, why him?! He could see Laney sadly stand at the café's door watching him run after Luke. He watched him gallop away on his horse along with Ash riding on the back. Damn, he had left with his horse. He'll never catch up at this rate.
He tried to run as fast as he could but, it was nearly impossible. He was never much of an athletic person. He just worked out his body occasionally when he wasn't so lazy. His legs were about to give out by the time he had reached the outskirts of the town… Laney! Why did you have to do this!
Lillian happily rode out of town with Ash chattering with her. What a weird scene… she had never thought that Cam and Laney were together. Well, she did give some stares at him like she were going to eat him alive but, still. Wait who she to talk she didn't even know or understand any of it. She grip her shirt and felt a light tug in her feeling an aching feeling began to bubble up in her chest but, she paid no mind to it.
"What was Cam doing inside the café?" Ash asked watching the scenery pass by as they rode to the top of the mountain.
"I don't know… he looked busy. He was holding Laney closely to the wall while she held his cheek." The top was coming to view.
"Really? Are you sure?" Ash asked confused.
"Yeah I saw the two holding each other closely. Weird, no?" she laughed.
"Yeah very weird," he frowned.
"What's wrong?"
"Hm? It's nothing don't worry about it!" he laughed suspiciously.
She looked at him strangely and shrugged it off. The people here were not only kind but very strange. Ash seemed a bit nervous when she asked the question… no more like since she picked him up he was nervous. Wonder what happened after they left her house the last time?
"Hey let's go to the bridge on Konahana's side!" Ash suggested happily shaking off the nervousness he bared.
"Alright!" she made her pony gallop faster almost matching the speed that Kana would sometimes go.
It was long before they arrived to the bridge. Lillian marveled the sight of the waterfall that seemed so beautiful perfect for a drawing. Ash giggled at her and she pouted.
"What's wrong?" he continued to giggle.
"Your laughing at me," she pouted and puffed her cheeks.
"Oh? Was I? Sorry you just look adorable looking at the waterfall. You look like a small child!" he laughed and ran away seeing her angered expression.
"You Ash! Come back here!" she barked at him and laughed along with him.
They ran around the bridge like little children. Anyone who saw them would think they're crazy. She began to feel tired until she slowed down and let herself get caught. They laughed when they stumbled down and rolled over a few feet.
"Haha! You caught me! You could let go now!" she laughed while he smirked mischievously.
"No. You deserve… punishment!" he laughed tickling her.
"Ash! No!" she yelled laughing hard.
She tried to get him off her but, he sat a little lower from her navel. The blond boy laughed at her struggles of freeing herself. He smirked and pinned her hands above her… de ja vu? Funny, she had felt this before but… where?
"Ash! I'm going to pee on myself!"
"Ahaaha! Go ahead!" he continued to tickle her.
"Pleaseeeeeeeee!" she yelled almost crying from laughing so hard.
"Finnneee," he pouted placing his hand on her chest.
She squeaked feeling the pressure on her chest.
"Don't put your hand there! It hurts…"
Ash looked at where his hands were at and furrowed his brows.
"Why does it hurt? You're not supposed to hurt there unless you have an injury," he pressed on.
"I do! It hurttsss stop," she groaned from the pressure.
"Let me see then," he started to un-button her shirt.
"NO!" she yelled.
He can't see what's under her shirt or else he'll find out! No!
"Why not? I could take you to the Konahana's clinic if it's bad," he pouted.
"No, I'm fine! Just don't," she tried to convince him.
"Fine, I'll have to do this the hard way then," he grabbed and pinned her again.
God. Her heart was going to jump out of her mouth. Ash couldn't find out. It would be the end if he found out.
"Please don't!" she yelled, "I'll scream if you do!"
"Ok and?" he continued to undo the buttons and could see the bands that she was wearing. "This looks serious."
"No it's not!" she yelled.
She gave out a piercing scream completely leaving the blond boy deaf. Ash grimed holding his ears.
"Oww, your screams are worse than a girl! Fine I won't do it but, if he serious and gets worse I'll say I'll…told…you," he pressed in hands over her chest in every pause.
"Ok! Ok! Please stop doing that! It hurts!" she hissed at the pain.
Her breast were being squished by the bands. Now even more pressure with Ash's giant hands.
"Ahaha!" he tickle her again.
"Hahaahaa! Stop you meanie!" she rolled over on to him but only to fall off the edge.
"Ah!" they yelled in union.
"Gah!" Ash groaned feeling her on top of him. "Your heavy!"
"Cam's says I'm too skinny," she giggled.
"You kind of are…"
"I don't get you," she rolled her eyes and got up. He simply laughed and brushed off the grass on his clothes.
They sat on the edge of the river, and watched the looked at each other and laughed one last time. Lillian let herself become comfortable lying on the green humid grass. The sky was blue with big fluffy white clouds. Ash did the same and sighed from the warmth of the sun. She cocked her head to the side as she watched a strange cloud float by.
"Hey Ash… Look at that cloud…" she pointed to the sky. "Can you see it?"
He laughed and asked, "which one? There are a bunch of clouds up there!"
"Nooo… I mean that one! The one with the cow shape!" she giggled.
Ash furrowed his brows trying to find the cow-shaped cloud. She pointed again until his lips formed an 'o' and gasped in surprise.
"Your right! It looks like a cow!" they both laughed together.
"Well, these two look like children," a feminine voice hung in the air.
They both looked at the direction where it came from and found a girl. She definitely wasn't from Bluebell.
"Hey Reina!" Lillian chirped happily.
She had a blank cold stare that made Ash fidget.
"What's up Reina," Ash sat up and greeted the dark haired girl nervously.
"Hello there," she greeted back quietly.
"Oh yeah! Reina I have those rocks you requested!" she got up and rummaged through her bag.
"You do? Well, that's very helpful. I haven't been able to find adequate one for my research," her expression brighten as Lillian passed her the rock she had found.
"Here you go! I found these mossy rocks and look like they have seeds stuck to them!" she smiled brightly.
"Thank you. This might progress my research even further," she gave a slight smile. "Here your reward," she handed some items to Lillian. "I bid you farewell… see you soon," she quietly walked back towards Konahana.
Ash looked at Lillian in surprise while she question his reaction.
"What?" she asked.
"Wow, just wow," he wiped his face his hand. "I've never, ever, seen that girl smile. Not once! Even in the Cooking festivals! She never smiled when her people won!" he exclaimed still surprised.
"She smiles often when I talk to her… you're so weird," she stuck her tongue out.
"Yeah, yeah," he waved his hand around.
There was a moment of silence. She played with the grass and found a small ladybug on a leaf. She let it crawl onto her hand.
"Was Cam seriously with Laney?" Ash asked again.
She felt something tug in her chest. Lillian touched her chest and furrowed her brows. Why did she feel that every time?
"Like I said I don't know. I just saw them close together. Laney had teary eyes for some reason too…" she trailed off.
"I don't think what we're thinking is what happened between them,"
Ash was confused. They had that conversation yesterday! Cam said he liked Luke and so why is he making a move on Laney?! This was so confusing… Why did he say those things yesterday? Wait… it couldn't be he said it to find out if he liked Luke? Noooo! No! Cam wouldn't go so low to find out about his little man crush. Would he?
"How do you know?" Luke asked playing with something that walked on his hands.
He looked at what Luke had in his hand and saw a tiny ladybug walking happily.
"Because I know him! He doesn't like Laney…" he poked the ladybug in Luke's hand and it crawled onto him.
He looked closely at the small creature and giggled. It would raise its wings happily and walked on his hand.
"Then… who does he like?"
Ash felt his face turn all the colors possible. How was he supposed to respond to that? Cam like's Luke… Ash like's Luke and who does Luke Like? Ugh! He didn't want to lie to him but, telling him the truth would affect the poor innocent boy. Who would be able to handle it? Oh, your friend who's the same sex likes… That's wrong! What was he supposed to do!
"Ash?"
"I uh… I don't know," he smiled sheepishly and let the little ladybug crawl bag onto the leaf.
"You're lying!" He pouted and puffed his cheeks.
"How?" he tried not to act suspicious.
"Because I know that smile! You smile like that when you're hiding something!" he narrowed his eyes.
Ok… so that didn't work. Maybe… changing the subject might work?
"Hey I see something shining in the water!" he pointed enthusiastically.
"I'm not falling for that," he looked unchanged by his actions.
Alright he couldn't do anything…
He grabbed his hand and looked into his eyes. Okay he's has to make this romantic as possible and not cheesy at all. Luke awkwardly leaned back avoiding such closeness.
"Luke I!"
Someone yelled from the top of the bridge. Ash could literally feel his chance crumble. He sat paralyzed as he looked up to the man in purple. Luke slowly slipped his hands out of his grip and stood up.
"Hey Cam!" Luke waved at him.
Ash stood and felt his face boil with all kinds of emotions.
Cam ran down and drop to his knees. His clothes were completely wrinkled and he breathed deeply. He seemed out of breath.
"You okay," Ash said between his teeth.
He breathed deeply and lifted lazily a tired arm. Ash sighed and helped him up. He whispered into his ear.
"Not cool bro, you ruined my chance!" he said between his teeth.
"Sorry," he whispered back.
"Why do you look so tired?" Luke asked, "you look like you ran a mile."
"No kidding," Ash sighed again.
"Luke!" Cam called out to him out of breath.
"Uh… yeah?" he awkwardly answered back.
"What you saw! … It isn't what you think!" he continued to speak huffing in air.
"You mean what happened between Laney and you," Ash added.
"Yeah…" he coughed.
"You didn't have to run all the way here just to say that," Ash and Luke said in sync shaking their heads.
"Whatever!" he growled then dropped to the floor. "I'm too tired to think!" he sat under the shade of a tree.
Ash and Luke looked at each other and laughed.
"Shut up!" he turned his head and sulked.
"Wait, why was Laney crying?" Ash asked and Luke nodded in agreement.
Cam looked around and sighed.
"I rejected her…"
"She confessed?!" Ash exclaimed in surprise, "I knew it, she liikkkess you," he smirked mockingly.
"Shut up," Cam rolled his eyes.
Ash looked at looked who remained quiet his expression brightened a bit the moment he heard about the rejection. Ok, now this was weird…
Lillian heart sped like a horse a full speed. Why was this? Even she didn't know! It was a strange feeling… she couldn't understand it either. She looked at the man who looked like a complete mess and giggled. Could he have run after her just to say that? Her heart sunk at the same time fluttered thinking about it. Cam was indeed a strange one but, he was fun and sweet person… when he wanted to be. Cam looked at her and gave her a slight glare.
"What are you laughing at?" he growled lowly.
"Nothing, just laughing how weird you are," she stuck her tongue out and got ready to hit and run.
"Don't make me come after you," he smirked confident in his skills.
"Sure says the guy who can't even run a few meters," added Ash stepping further back.
"Why you little!" Cam yelled charging after the two.
Lillian grabbed Ash and headed to the waterfalls. The crystalline waters slashed at the end of the waters making a light mist arise. They both hide behind the waterfall while hearing the angered Cam looking around for them.
"He'll never find us here!" whispered Ash giggling.
"Shh! He'll hear us!" Lillian hushed the boy.
A few minutes passed and everything was silent. Ash's body completely toward over her tiny frame. Their breaths heavy from running around. Ash rested his chin on her shoulder and wrapped around his arms around her neck. Lillian squeaked slightly feeling his heavy arms and warm breath near her. Were all the guys in the two towns like this?!
"W-what are y-you doing Ash?" she asked with a shaky voice.
"I'm tiredkinda…" he whispered into her ear making her shiver.
She could feel a blush fill her face to the tip of her ears. If her ears became red, she really hoped that Ash wouldn't notice. She heard Ash slightly groan and press her body into his. This was making real nervous. Cam would do this but, he wasn't so direct while Ash seemed direct. Why were they both doing this to her! Was this some kind of game? She squeezed her eyes shut preparing herself for any sudden actions.
A minute later, she felt something wet and warm trail the tip of her ear. She squealed a bit louder but it went unheard from the loud crashing noise of the waterfall. Her pants had become soaked from the droplets of water and the same with his pants. She could feel him pushing her up against the wall and place his hands on her waist.
"A-Ash! What are you doing!?" she asked again.
"I'm sorry I can't control it any longer!" he sucked on a sensitive patch of skin.
She bite her tongue scared to let out any noise from her throat. She was felt scared and insecure. It felt more secure in Cam's arms even if Ash was someone dear to her.
"Please stop!" she cried scared.
"Found you!" Cam ran into the scene.
Ash immediately let go and smiled sheepishly.
"Did I interrupt something?" Cam asked glaring at Ash.
"Yeah… kind of…" Ash sighed and looked at her horrified face. "Oh god! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!"
Lillian dashed out shoving Cam to the side. She could feel her face heat up. She hated the fact that she couldn't understand these raging feelings. She couldn't stand how fast her heart would race around the two.
"Luke! Wait!" Cam yelled while Ash held a horrified expression.
She jumped onto her pony and headed couldn't stop thinking about the burning feeling in her chest…Why? Why?!
Cam glared at Ash who back away.
"You crossed the line didn't you?" Cam sighed shaking his head
"I'm sorry…"
Ash couldn't help. The moment felt perfect but went overboard… His hormones took control of the moment. Luke's soft neck… he wanted to taste it. He wanted to taste his pink lips that almost made him yearn for them… What a pervert.
"Hormones…" he answered ashamed.
"I can see," Cam shook his head.
"Yeah… I didn't mean to…" he trailed off.
"I understand… but, who knows if he thinks your some nasty pervert who likes men… no more like little boys you pedo," Cam said blankly causing Ash more distress.
"How could you say something like that at a moment like this!" Ash cried waving his hands. "That's what Kana thought of you when Luke said you guys slept together! Moreover, YOU LIKE HIM TOO! He's also a year younger than me so how does that make me a pedo?" he tried to regain a bit of his pride.
"Cuzzz he's young and soft like a child,"
"You should have been there! Luke hugged me allnight long," Cam mocked. "He's super soft ya know, just like a sweet teddy bear."
"Don't, just don't and, I think you're the pedohere" he said slapping his back.
"Ok fine… and no I like women with big boobs," Cam exclaimed.
"I can't believe you said that out loud," Ash shook his head, "and worse you said it with that face…"
They walked up the hill and to the direction that he headed.
"Let's go find him… who knows he might be crying because you tried to rape him," Cam snickered.
"Cam shut up," he rolled his eyes, "you're annoying."
