The water sparkled under the rays of the sunlight. Lillian watched the fishes swim in an endless cycle in the water. She sighed finally letting her legs dangle from the edge of the small stream. Confusion was all over her mind. Ash completely made her mind go blank… and not in a good way.
His hands slithered down her body and it wasn't a pleasant feeling… just the thought made her shiver. It was a strange feeling, even stranger then Cam's hands on her small frame. She hugged herself trying to get rid of the trembling that overcame her body. She simply couldn't put in words that feeling… Ash and Cam are her best friends. They were the first two people she had met that were her age. Moreover, they were the one who stuck to her more than anyone else. Why? Why are they both playing this touching game with her? She bit her lip and passed her fingers through her own hair.
She gently laid herself on the grass and looked up at the azure sky. Big fluffy clouds slowly passed by, making it have a weird feel as if the sky was spinning. Her tired eyes filled with tears began to close. Her pony quietly rested near her enjoying the warm heat of the sun. Everything was quiet and calm. It was peaceful. This feeling reminded her somewhat when she had first arrived. That time when she had first met those weird boys…
It was a funny thing. Even though a month has barley passed by, everything seemed so perfectly normal… Well, except Cam and Ash not being able to keep their hands off her… but yeah perfectly normal.
Her toned and tense muscles relaxed into the grass; something that she wasn't able to do for a while. The trees leaves softly swayed along with the wind… Her mind and body in complete peace Harmony with nature.
"My, what a lovely sight," a voice chuckled. She heard a sweet sound vibrate in the air. A delicate yet strong sound, beautiful and refined traveled to her ears.
She opened her tired yellow eyes and found someone smiling down on her.
"Hello there," he said in a strange accent, "You're not from around these parts are you?"
She sat up and stared at the blond man. His hair was short but combed neatly. Somehow, in the light his hair seemed more white then blond. He had blue eyes that were brighter than even Ash's eyes.
"My name's Mikhail," he said softly and sat near her.
"I live here and my names Li- Luke," she stuttered her face turning into a light shade of pink.
"Well, looks like we got a new resident then," he chuckled.
She simply stared at him strangely; he had somewhat of a British accent. He continued playing a small instrument that rested between his neck and shoulder.
"Do you like the sound of my Violin?" he smiled brightly
"That's a violin?!" she beamed and her tears completely gone.
"Um… yes, you've never seen one?" he gave her a weird stare.
"No, in books… yes," she gave a closer look at him.
He continued to give her the strange stare but slowly faded away and was replaced by a smile. He played another soothing melody that even the animals stopped to listen.
"Wow, such a lovely tune!"
Mikhail watched her every move while he played and she smiled watched his hands swiftly play the instrument.
"My, I wonder why such a fine young lady like you is doing in such a small town?" he smiled finishing his small display.
Lillian's eyes widened and her heart nearly jumped out. She couldn't process that quickly enough to respond. How did he realize she was a girl? Wait; maybe it's just an assumption as if everyone does…
"I-I'm not a girl I'm a boy!" she stuttered imitating a man's voice.
"Hmm… No, Lillian you're a girl. I'm not sure why you're acting like a boy though. Or what your doing so far from your mansion," he softly shook his and sighed.
Her time here officially was over. Her small yet comfortable life in this land had ended. She was found out and no less from a boy she didn't even know. She simply gaped and tried to contain the reforming tears.
"But… how? How did you know?"
"Oh my Lilly," he chuckled, "don't you remember me?" he asked.
She just stared at him confused.
"I was a friend of yours. It was a long time ago though," he sadly smiled, "I used to play my violin in your families special events and ceremonies… But after the conflict between your father and your grandmother shut all the connections of my family and yours."
She was a loss of words. Nothing seemed to get through or out of her mind. It just simply stopped working. He assured her with a sweet smile and put a hand on her shoulder.
"My father?" she asked confused.
"Yes… wait they didn't tell you what happened?"
"No… all they did was lock me up and feed me. Sometimes even clean the mansion…"
"I knew that family was corrupted…" he looked at the ground, "is that the reason why I only saw you during the maid's vacations or breaks?"
"I guess yeah but, I still don't remember you," she put a finger to her lip.
"Yeah I wouldn't have remembered either. I stopped going to that household years ago. Last time I saw you, I was a young boy of 8 years old."
He began going through his bag and pulled out a small old wrinkly piece of paper. He carefully put It into her hands and sighed pleasantly.
"I remember the time you drew me. I thought you were stalking me like all the other annoying girls did but after I saw what you were jotting down on that old sketchbook… You took me by surprise," his blew sparkly eyes sparkled if it had an ocean and a small sun.
She unfolded the drawing and saw a little boy holding a violin silently playing to himself inside a rose garden. She stared at the boy drawn in the old picture and a small portion of memories came flying by.
"I remember… you were that mean boy who picked on me!" she giggled handing it back.
"Oh come on I was small! All the girls were out for me… what do you expect!"
She giggled and let her back softly hit the tall grass on the ground.
"Hey Mikhail… I have a question?"
"Oh god, I remember that," he laughed rubbing his face, "you always have a question don't you?"
"I guess… I have to ask to know!" she laughed.
"Ok so… what is it?"
She paused for a moment and rolled onto her side. She slightly curled up and started to pull on the grass.
"Mikhail… what happened to my parents? I was never told the full story…"
His expression quickly saddened. His smiled remained but the humor in his eyes faded.
"That's… a very hard question to answer. Plus I was told everything and from the person who it happened directly from…"
"So?"
"I don't know if you'll be able to take so much information at one time and remain the same."
"Tell me." Her voice had seriousness.
"Fine but don't complain later on or, hurt yourself because of it," he sighed.
Mikhail sighed watching carefully the girl's expression. Her parents passed long ago. He didn't even know whether or not her father still lived. Even if the man were still alive, that family wouldn't let him see his own daughter. The girl anxiously sat closer to him and waited for his explanation. Her eyes filled with curiosity. Wonderful memories rushed at him looking into her bright golden eyes; that same curiosity from those times. The girl never had enough of asking or questioning anything.
"Mikhail!" she pouted adorably giving him the urge to touch her baby face.
"Calm down. I want you to be ready to take it okay. If I'm going to tell you… no tears okay? Not even a yelp…"
"No promises!" she threw back at him.
"You never change do you?" he chuckled a bit.
He began explaining.
The air was crisp and cool… Autumn leaves gently fluttered to the ground one by one. A man stood near the gates looking beyond the huge mansion. He griped the dark metal bars and shook then effortlessly. His dull eyes filled with tears seeing people carry away a black and brown casket down the path. A carriage made its way to the gates.
"Sir? What's wrong? Aren't you joining the burial ceremony?" a blond boy asked.
"Mikhail… I'm not allowed to go…" the redhead man responded with tears running down his face.
"Why sir? Isn't it unfair? Are you not her husband?"
"Yes… but I'm a poor man from the village. She's a rich woman from a noble family. Our daughter is treated like an outcast… the black sheep of the family… You'll probably won't understand now but, later on in your life you will…"
"Sir… you should at least try and see your daughter! I asked her who's her mother and father and she didn't know!" he gripped the at the window, "at this rate she'll grow up not knowing her own parents! She'll think she's an orphan!"
"Nothing can be done now my boy… If I try to see her she'll really become an orphan… I'll be shot down and get my head cut off…"
The horses stayed still while the coach patiently waited for the boy to finish his chit-chat with the man. Mikhail was torn hearing this form of torture…"
"Mikhail… you'll have to forgive me. I'm leaving this place forever. One day… maybe one day I'll see my daughter beautiful and radiant just like her mother… please, it's all I ask, please watch my daughter for me? Even if from faraway just keep her safe?"
Mikhail slowly nodded. He knew he couldn't do the promise. This was his last visit to the house. The man smiled and clumsily walked away dragging his feet in despair. The coach silently commanded the horses to turn and they left the place. He felt horror to be there. Her mother was a beautiful woman. The most beautiful in fact; he was kind and gently and never stopped herself from helping someone in need. It was a true tragedy… The beauty died when she gave birth to her second child. She and the infant died in the process. The woman barely managed with Lillian but survived. She was a fragile one, a delicate flower. Something so pure if tainted it might die. She was one of those pure things.
Lillian stared at him with her mouth gapping. Mikhail held his own hands and watched her carefully.
"My mother died giving birth to my sister?"
He nodded looking sadly.
"What happened to my father?!" she shook his arms roughly.
"That's something I wish I could know…" he couldn't look at her… "I'm sorry…"
"It's okay! Thanks for telling me!" she smiled brightly.
He stared at her dumbfounded… "Um, you're not going to cry?"
"Why would I?" she smiled. "I'm happy to know what happened… but sad that it had to happen…"
"I seriously thought you were going to cry and act like it's the end of the world!"
"Nope. I'm happy here! I don't have to worry about none of that stuff. I don't remember my parents but, I know they loved each other and they loved me. Anyway, I moved out of that life. That's all in the past," she smiled sweetly, "I moved here to start a new life, new tale of these two towns."
Mikhail couldn't help but hug the girl. She was the same as her mother.
"Your so naïve… But, I'm happy that you're like that. I apologize that I wasn't able to watch over you. I'll fulfill your father's promise and watch over you whenever I can!" he smiled back and touched her face.
"Ok!" she laughed hugging him back.
He hugged her tightly soothing her back and felt something strange under her clothing. Lillian squeaked slightly. While he continued to inspect her back. What is that… bandages? He touched the cloth, gave it a small pinch, and tugged on it.
"Um, Lillian?"
"Hm?"
"What are you wearing under your clothes? Not to be rude or indecent…"
"Oh these are bandages… I hide my breast so I look like a boy. Boys don't have breast so I were them," she starts unbuttoning her shirt.
"Why are you acting like a boy though?"
She hesitated for a moment but, it was clearly because she was so concentrated on unbuttoning her shirt.
"Um, well… it's because if my family tries looking for me they'll look for a girl named Lillian not Luke a boy."
He nodded understanding her point.
She gently slid her sleeves off her shoulder and began unwrapping the bandages around her chest. Mikhail's eyes budged and his face reddened after realizing what she was doing.
"What are you doing?!" he yelled covering his eyes.
"I'm showing you why I wrap them with bandages," she continued.
"You're not supposed to show a man your body! It's indecent and not right if the person is not someone that you like!"
"I like you Mikhail," she giggled.
"I DON'T MEAN THAT LIKE!" he grabbed her arms from undoing the last bandage.
"Then what do you mean?" she took off the bandage revealing her huge bosoms.
Mikhail's nose began to bleed scaring the innocent girl.
"Mikhail!" she held his face making her bosoms make direct contact with his chest worsening the situation in his pants.
"LILLIAN COVER THEM UP!" He yelled covering them with his bare hands seeing that the bandages were too far.
His hand slightly sunk feeling the softness of them. She made another small squeak when he moved. Something round and silky yet hard rubbed under his balms making his nose bleed even more.
"What's wrong?" she squeaked again, "are mines weird?" tears started to fill her eyes again.
"No, no, no, no!" he said quickly, "don't cry! It's okay they are completely fine!" He sighed. "Lillian… you're not supposed to show anyone any part of your body no matter what! It's immoral and we are not even dating or married!"
"Then… I did something… bad!" tears dropped from her scared face.
"No, you didn't. You didn't know," he grabbed her shirt and buttoned the top. He tried to button the rest but her bosoms didn't fit into the tight shirt.
"But… you said it's bad…" she cover her mouth with her tiny fists that had the sleeves hung off of them. She looked like a cute little kitten.
"It is. Don't do it ever again with anyone unless you are married or dating ok? Got that?"
She nodded wiping the tears with her sleeves. She grabbed the bandages and began wrapping them again. He sat hunched over trying to hide his aroused being. Why was she so clueless? No one has explained it to her yet or what?
"Um… Lillian has anyone given you the "talk" yet?" he asked, amazed how her big marshmallows even fit perfectly in the tight shirt.
"Hmmm… if it's that weird thing about sex then yeah," she smiled sweetly making it look obvious she's a girl. His eye twitched when he heard how bluntly she said it with a sweet smile.
"Who told you though and what did they explain?"
"Cam and Kana," she said clueless.
God, why them of all people in the town. Kana being the rock head he is probably said the most ignorant or even indecent things to explain it. Cam… he didn't know whether the man was straight or not. He could be swaying both sides for all he knew.
"Ok and what did they explain?"
"Um… I think it was something about dick going into pussy?"
"WHAT?" he choked on his own words.
Definitely Kana's doing.
He pinched the bridge of his nose. "Just forget what they told you ok…?" He looked up and watch her nod cutely back.
Cam and Ash made their way down the mountainside with a gloomy cloud following them. Cam kept on scuffing then gave a smirk with a glance then looked away. He repeated the action a few times until Ash's vain popped up.
"Could you stop that!"
"Stop what?" Cam asked innocently.
"Oh my god! For fuck's sake! Stop! I already feel like a jackass but you make everything feel worse!" Ash yelled but not one word budged the cat lover.
"Who are you? What did you with my buddy?" Cam faked his surprised expression.
"You're depressing me!" Ash waved his fist angrily.
"Are you going to slit your wrists and wear gay makeup?" Cam covered his mouth and smirked.
"What the FUCK man?! That came out of nowhere!"
"I came out of nowhere," Cam softly exclaimed.
"We all did," Ash sighed agreeing.
Silence…
"I hope he's not committing suicide because of your sexual harassment,"
"What the fuck Cam! Shut it already!"
"Why are you suddenly cursing so much now?"
"Why are you being so fucking polite and innocent now?!"
"Touché," Cam chuckled annoying Ash even more.
