~Anarchy's P.O.V. ~

L, Light and I were now sitting in Soichiro's hospital room. His wife had left just a moment ago. I had driven the three of us here earlier as soon as we received the calls as to what happened. Soichiro seemed fine, despite his appearance in the bed. It wasn't Kira, it wasn't Light. I glanced over at Light from the other side of L; I didn't trust him being so close to L. My eyes went over to Soichiro when Light started speaking.

"So the doctors think stress was the only cause?" He asked in concern; I questioned it though.

"Yeah, to be honest I thought I was Kira when I first collapsed, but I'll be alright. It seems I've been pushing myself a bit too hard lately."

"Indeed. It must have added to your stress knowing that Light is a suspect in this investigation." L stated as if it were nothing. I was sitting like a normal person instead of having my legs crossed. I wasn't too fond of hospitals so I was fidgety. My feet kept moving to try and keep myself occupied.

"You actually told my father that?!" Light questioned in disbelief.
"Yes. In fact I've told him everything; it's even true he knows that I am L." Light looked from L to his father for confirmation.

"That's correct. This man is L. To protect his identity we on the Task Force refer to him as 'Ryuzaki'. But make no mistake, it's him." Soichiro told his son weakly. I looked at his face, he was getting tired and his energy was probably lower than usual. His head shifted so he was now looking at L. "So, Ryuzaki, now that you've had the chance to talk to my son, is he cleared as a suspect?"

"When I say I suspect him, you should know it's very minor. We've gone over this but I'll explain it again. Not long ago, Kira killed 12 F.B.I. agents who came to Japan to assist us. They were instructed to follow people connected to the Japanese police. One of these agents: Raye Penber, exhibited strange behavior before he died."

"I understand; and I was one of the people he was investigating before he died. It only makes sense I'd be a suspect. No, to be more precise, there's no one else you could suspect."

"I find Light's deductive powers quite impressive; he's always quick and to the point."

"Ryuga, I'd like to help on this investigation." Light offered. "My father has erased any doubts I might've had regarding your true identity. Also I'd like to catch Kira, so I can prove that once and for all that I'm not him."

"No Light; this is a time in your life when you should be studying to become a police officer. It won't be too late to join us once you are done."

"Come on, dad, what're you talking about? Who knows how many years that'll take? Besides don't you remember my promise: that if something ever happened to you, I would find Kira and make sure he gets executed?" I scoffed inwardly at what was playing out before me. There's no doubt he wouldn't be saying such things if L and I weren't in the same room as him. He's acting to try and play off his innocence no matter how one looks at it. He's trying way too hard at this that it almost looks fake.

"Light, listen to me. Kira is pure evil, we can all agree on that; but recently I've started thinking of this whole situation in a different way. What is truly evil is the power to kill people, and anyone who has come to possess this kind of power is cursed. No matter how you use it; no true happiness can be obtained like that, not by killing other people."

"Everyone has the power to kill people, it just depends on if one decides to harness that power or not." I spoke softly; all eyes were on me for a few moments before L stared talking.

"I think you're absolutely right." L started while looking at Light. "If Kira is just a normal person who decided to harness this awful power, I would say that he's cursed himself."

"Ryuzaki, I'm sorry for all this trouble, but I'll be back at work as soon as the doctors let me out of here." Soichiro declared as someone else walked into the room. I looked over whenever I first heard someone grab the door. A nurse walked in with a clipboard in hand.

"Excuse me," She said to get everyone's attention. "Visiting hours were over ten minutes ago." She informed us, we all nodded and said our goodbyes and left the building.

When we walked outside it was dark out. Only the small amounts of light that weren't blocked by the moon illuminated to land. Anarchy was walking beside me on my left so I was between her and Light. I didn't enjoy the thought of him being around her for some reason. I looked up to see Watari at Anarchy's car holding the back door open for us. I glanced at her as a sign to get inside.

"Ryuga," Light stopped a few feet behind us. "What would it take for you to believe that I'm not Kira, please, isn't there something?" He begged, how pathetic of him.

"If you aren't Kira it won't be necessary. Let things run their course and the truth will be revealed." I told him bluntly, hoping he would accept that as an answer.

"I can't take this anymore! Put yourself in my position, how do you think it feels to be accused of being Kira?!" I looked up for a moment to ponder his request.

"It was one of the worst feelings ever." I told him genuinely. There was an obvious thing to me that would be far worse than an accusation of being Kira. I glanced over at Anarchy to see that she was already seated in the car, she was laying down and appeared to be sleeping.

"What if you were to lock me up for a month in a place with no T.V. or any other kind of access to the outside world and keep a constant watch over me?" He offered desperately. 'Would any normal person be willing to go to such extreme measures to clear their name?' I wondered to myself.

"That's no good; I can't do anything that would deprive you of basic human rights and furthermore, it's complete nonsense for the investigator to take suggestions from his suspect."

"I understand." I got into the car and laid Anarchy's head in my lap as Watari shut the door behind me.

"Don't worry so much. Be patient, it'll become apparent to us if you're not Kira. And listening to that conversation with your father, I was almost convinced you might not be him. Light, please take good care of Mr. Yagami."

"One more thing, I know I agreed to help with the investigation, but I don't think I'll be able to do much until my father is healthy again."

"Yes of course. Well then..." I trailed off as Watari took off slowly. I looked down at Anarchy; she was faking to be asleep in front of Light. I smiled to myself and placed a hand on her head. "You can take the wig off now, he's gone and I know you're not really asleep." I spoke softly. Her eyes opened slowly as she sat up and faced me.

"Finally." She said; she was actually exhausted from these past nights of investigating all night. I watched her as she slid the false hair piece off and took out her hair from his hold. It was now wavier than usual and fell around her face gently. She looked adorable to say the least. Her head then regained its rightful spot on my legs as she yawned near to silently. She made herself comfortable, one hand was near her mouth and the other was holding onto the bottom of my shirt lightly. Her eyes drifted shut once more as she went into a light sleep for the car ride back to the hotel.
