I'm having a hard time deciding whether to post this or not...but the story must go on!

Kenna held a hand to her cheek, a small trickle of blood seeped through the wound caused by Miriah. She stood there and watched in horror as the girl she called her girlfriend scream and thrash around the room.

"She's hallucinating!" Kid stated. "Black-Star, try to hold her down!" The shinigami went over to Kenna and grabbed her arm. "You need to step out."

"I'm not letting you stab Miriah like you did to Tyler's mom." Kenna growled and yanked her arm out of Kid's grip.

"Get back here!" Black-Star let out a curse when Miriah slipped away from him, still slashing at the air and screaming for them to go away.

"Get the others!" Kid ordered Kenna as Miriah threw open the door and exited the building.

"No!"

"Do it!" Kid shoved Kenna back and ran after Black-Star and Miriah.

"Get away from me!" Miriah cried. "Get away!"

"Miriah! Calm down!" Black-Star shouted over the girl's screaming as he reached out for her. Miriah looked at him and yelled, swinging the knife in her hand toward him. The star had to jump back to avoid getting a slice across the stomach.

"We need to do something before she hurts herself." Kid said to Black-Star.

"Miriah!" Kenna sprinted out of the house with Tyler, Cylas, Lexi, Liz, Patty, Tsubaki and Soul following her.

"What happened when this started?" Tsubaki asked Kenna, grabbing her wrist to prevent her from going after her girlfriend.

"We were just talking about what clothes we were going to get at the next run while playing with Tommy and Timmy. The boys had their new toys that Cylas grabbed for them and when Miriah grabbed one...she just went nuts." Kenna's eyes were turning red with tears threatening to escape. "Don't hurt her...please."

"The action figures must be working with the teddy bear." Cylas whispered to Lexi. Kid heard Cylas' whisper and reminded himself to ask the boy about that later.

"It's going to get me!" Miriah had started crying now out of a fear that no one else could see. "It's going to get me!"

"We need to hold her down." Tsubaki stated. "Black-Star and Kid, get her from behind, everyone else get her attention away from those two." Kid and Black-Star nodded and took off, going around in a large circle to give the others time to distract Miriah. Tyler went in front of Miriah, waving his hands.

"Miriah, it's me, calm down." He said softly.

"Get away!" Soul shoved Tyler away as Miriah stabbed her knife towards the boy. Cylas stayed back and Lexi stayed with him, she could feel the boy shaking. He started to mutter under his breath.

"One by one, one by one, one by one."

Liz and Patty were ordered by Tsubaki to hold Kenna back and try to get her to go into the apartment. Tsubaki said that Kenna is too attached to Miriah to be any help in this situation, the girl already got hurt and they didn't need her to be seriously injured again.

"Miriah, they aren't real! Nothing's there!" Soul said, dodging Miriah's attacks with the knife. Tyler tried his best to grab the weapon whenever she wasn't paying attention, but Miriah seemed to always know when the boy was coming. Black-Star ran up behind Miriah and grabbed both of her arms in a full nelson. Kid yanked the knife out of Miriah's hand and threw it as far away from the group as possible.

"No, no, no!" Miriah shrieked. "Get off! Get off!" The girl flailed in Black-Star's grip, screaming more and more.

"Miriah!" Kenna pushed through Liz and Patty, running up to Miriah and Black-Star. "Miriah, it's okay...it's okay."

"Should I hold her back?" Tyler asked Kid as Kenna went up to Miriah.

"No." Kid responded, but kept a close distance.

"Calm down Miriah, nothing's here." Kenna cupped her girlfriend's cheeks with her hands, feeling the tears still running down them. "It's okay, don't let the madness get you too." Kenna saw that Miriah's eyes had begun to turn a greenish shade of gray, something that she did not want to see. "I don't want to lose you after just getting you."

"Are you crying sis?" Patty asked Liz, who was wiping a tear away from her own eye.

"No." Liz sniffed.

"Are you okay?" Kenna slowly moved her hands down as Miriah nodded her head.

"Kenna?" Miriah said hoarsely.

"Let go of her." Kenna pushed on Black-Star's arms and the star hesitated, looking over at Kid, who nodded at him and released Miriah slowly. "Miriah?"

"No." Miriah whispered before punching Kenna across the face.

"Shit!" Black-Star cursed and tried to grab Miriah again, but the girl slipped through his fingers. Miriah sprinted off and climbed over the fence.

"Stay here." Tsubaki ordered the recovering Kenna as she and the other adults went after the run away girl.

"Kenna, are you okay?" Tyler asked as he help his friend up.

"Get out of my way." Kenna shoved Tyler aside and wiped her face as she ran over to the fence.

"No, no, no!" Cylas cried and ran off as well.

"Damn it!" Lexi ran after the small boy and Tyler heisted, looking back at the apartment before going over the fence with the rest of the group.

"Miriah!" Kid shouted after the girl.

"I'm not going to let you get me! You're not going to win!" Miriah screamed towards the DWMA. "You took Bre and Jose and Ryver and Joey! But you're not going to get me!"

"Everyone stop!" Tsubaki held her hands out and the group froze. "Miriah." Tsubaki said softly. "I need you to slowly walk over here."

"Where did they come from?" Kid asked. "I've never seen a group this large before." Miriah turned her head and saw a large herd of demon kishins standing behind her.

"Stay calm." Tsubaki took one small step forward.

"They're going to get me..." Miriah started to shake.

"Don't move." Tsubaki took another small step. "Stay calm, it's going to be okay."

"Kid, she's going to get killed." Kenna grabbed the shinigami's arm, holding herself back.

"It's alright, it's alright." Kid didn't know who he was saying that to, was it to Kenna...or himself.

"Just...stay...there." Tsubaki kept going towards Miriah, keeping an eye on the herd that stared at Miriah with hungry eyes.

"Get away from me!" Miriah screamed and started running away from the kishins.

"Miriah!" Tsubaki cried, but was drowned out by the shrieking kishin demons. Miriah wasn't fast enough to get away from th demons, she was soon tripped over by several of them and she was covered in the matter of moments. Kenna only screamed in terror as Kid and Black-Star took off with Tsubaki ahead of them. Liz and Patty transformed and went into Kid's hands. Tyler quickly jumped forward and grabbed Kenna as the girl continued to scream and try to save her girlfriend. Cylas watched the scene with wide eyes while Lexi hugged the boy with silent tears rolling down her face.

Tsubaki, Kid and Black-Star tore their way through the kishin demons. They kicked the shorter demons away, not bothering to kill the annoying ones, but the ones almost as tall as they were had to be taken down, there was no just shoving them aside to get to Miriah. Miriah's form could still be seen shifting under the kishins, but getting weaker and weaker as the seconds ticked by.

"No!"

Everyone stopped. They all stood in silence. The pile of kishins that covered Miriah stopped shifting and the demons slowly moved away from the girl. The living kishin demons left, no longer fighting against the adults...as if they were called away. Kid dropped the guns and they landed on the ground before turning back into human shape and the women stayed on their knees as they and everyone else stared at Miriah, who wasn't moving at all.

"Miriah!" Kenna finally broke the silence and yanked herself away from Tyler. "Miriah!" She screamed again as she ran to her girlfriend.

"One more down..." Cylas whispered.

"This can't be happening." Kenna said as she knelt down next to Miriah. "Please, tell me this isn't happening." She begged as she turned Miriah over so the girl could face her. "Miriah...please." Kenna brushed the girl's light brown hair out of her eyes. Kenna never noticed how soft Miriah's hair was before and how it slightly curled at the very end of it. "You're not allowed to die Miriah, you're not allowed!" Kenna cried, shaking Miriah's body lightly. "Don't leave me! Please! Don't leave me!" Kenna noticed several drops of water on Miriah's blank face and she soon realized that she was crying, but she didn't care.

"Kenna..." Kid said.

"Come back Miriah...come back." Kenna stared into Miriah's eyes, trying to find some life. Something that said that Miriah was alright, that she wasn't gone. There was nothing...there was only gray...a lifeless, dull gray. Kenna blinked her eyes and finally saw what she was holding. Miriah was covered in scratches and bite marks, there was blood everywhere. Kenna wiped some blood off of Miriah's cheek and saw the large chunk missing from her neck. "No..." Kenna started crying harder. "No, no...please...please Miriah...get up."

"Kenna." Kid repeated and walked over to the crying girl.

"I can't...I can't do this." Kenna sobbed. "This can't be true. It just can't."

"You need to let go, we need to get back to the apartment." Kid reached for Miriah but Kenna jerked the body back.

"She is not dead. She can't be dead."

"Kenna, we need to leave before the kishins come back." Kid stated.

"Let them. I'll kill them all. I'll ripe all of them apart limb from limb. I'll cut them and gut them and make them wish they were never created!" Kenna was to the point of screaming. "They will rue the day they messed with me. Do you hear me!? I'll kill every single one of you with my bare hands!" Kenna started sobbing again and held Miriah against her chest.

"Black-Star, take the others back." Tsubaki ordered.

"But-"

"Please. They don't need to see this." Black-Star nodded his head and lead the other teens away, having to help Cylas along before the boy would run on his own.

"Come on Kenna." Kid said softly, putting his hands on the girl's shoulders.

"I just got her Kid...I just got her!" Kenna cried. "I have been in live with this girl for a long time and we finally get together...we finally get together...and I lose her. She's gone." Kenna pulled Miriah away and brushed the girl's cheek again. "She's gone."

"It's going to be fine." Kid said.

"Will you stop saying that!" Kenna snapped. "It's not going to be fine! She's dead! I lost the only person I loved!"

"I understand-"

"No you don't! You don't understand at all! You're father's dying and you don't even care!"

I just realized I wrote a whole chapter of pain, I feel pain and I wrote this thing. I am so going to get killed for this.
