I move towards the cafeteria trying to hide my feelings in the best possible way.I find raven,clary and zasha having their all time favourite chocolate smoothies.I reach upto them and gently sit,saying nothing. Maybe because i could still feel overriden by the last few minutes of my life. I grab my smoothie kept on d table and pretend to be busy enough just to avoid questions to my behaviour. I wasnt actually wishing to behave that way but it just seemed to happen by itself. I wonder why i was not happy enough. I was getting all i wanted ,but deep down somewhere i was scared not because i'm a coward to face it but because i didnt know if it was right or not. I barely knew him and the all i could do was optimize good about the future out of my fantasy of thoughts i realised that raven was asking me to check out the notice board before going home. Before i could reply the bell rang for the last bout and everybody started moving and so i got up with my friends and left for the physical education session.

Back home...

I parked my car at the garage. I guess the weatherman had made a good call abt the storm so i rushed inside the house.

It was 3 pm and i found out that i was home alone which made me lock the front door and head straight towards my bedroom which was on the first floor. As i ventured inside my room , i could feel the darkness all around because of the dark colour of myroom's shades. So i move across the bed trying not to hit something in dark and raise the shades and there was that one thing i liked about my neighbours that they were well disposed or I would prefer saying buddy-buddy with our family. I found my phone as soon as i heard the ringer and saw the screen displaying clary's name on top. She was second closest to me after zasha which made me smile whenever i would be wid her. She knew abt me having a snap on Nialle and i very well knew she

saw that expression on my face in the cafeteria that day so i guess i had a thought of what she was going to talk about in 5..4..3..2..1..

"hey kate,i bet u had forgotten to go through the notice board", said clary.

"umm yea ure right i forgot *giggling* bt wht was that important ?" ,i replied.

" ure such a bonker i tell u, its the great carnival and one of its event it painting the mascot and u knw wht does dat mean?"

"lol no...wht does it mean clareee?" I said

" look ..a girl and boy shall be selected from 9th grade for staying in school and painting the mascot a day before the carnival..nd since u knw u r the best artist so why give this chance?"

"oh well that is ace. Thanks love..ill go and give my name for it..thanks alot"

"And its sunday tomorrow so i want u to come over cause rebecca told me that she saw you and nialle near the lockers ..so bby u cnt hide it from me..heheheh..im getting late right now..ill call u asap", replied clare.

And the phone ended...

And i laughed to myself cause i guess i figured out well.!

And i didnt hav a pinch of idea that nialle was that boy selected with whom i was going to paint..
