Alright you guys. I know this looks awful, and it sucks. But I'm having a hard time remembering what happened in the first season and in what order, so this is how the next chapter is going to look too. I have to get into season 2 so things move along here. There is an accurate synopsis of the episode in bold and then what happens with Emily involved and reactions in normal font.

I'm sorry that this is the layout cause it sucks, but I need to move myself along. So I'm going to get us into the second season in this layout and then maybe a few episodes in, but once I get there, this story will be finished and I will set up the sequel that is season 2.

So I would love it if you responded to something, that I will bold down below, and after this chapter/at the end.

I want Emily to develop a relationship with the people in intelligence- namely Erin because she is a girl, and will become a sort of third party person to talk to, because third parties are sometimes the best people to talk to. What do you think?

I want to do this because she has this relationship with all of the firehouse, and so having her be more a part of Antonio's life too.

I know it's a Chicago Fire story, but maybe the next one will be a crossover. I also might not make it an official crossover, because it will still pretty much only be the events of Chicago Fire, but with the characters of CPD.

I'm going to get you excited (Maybe) because I have a few chapters written for the next story, but only because I had an idea that I mentioned before, got obsessed with it and wrote it. And there might be the inkling of a relationship between her and Voight. But we'll see.

The bold is the episode synopsis from the website

Regularness is Emily involved and reaction synopsis I guess. I hate this setup, but like I said, I need to get us moving.

Season 1 episode 114

A month after Severide's injury, he is cleared for duty; Clarice has moved in with him and Leslie. Gaby confesses her relationship with Mills to Leslie, and explains how hard it has been to keep things under wrap (Especially Emily since even she didn't know), as well as how he wants her to meet his mom. Severide returns and finds out that his ex-fiancée's brother has been working in his place. Gaby and Leslie go on multiple calls due to heroin overdoses, a case that Antonio is working- Gaby is worried that Antonio is digging himself a hole. Casey's mom comes home and he begins to grow worried when she hooks up with a pen pal. Hermann buys a bar and Gaby and Otis decide to be investors as well. Severide and his replacement, Whaley, get into a screaming match over the Renee situation. Clarice gives birth and she and Shay are being sued for full custody. Gaby is leaving the hospital when she runs into her brother who is then shot in a drive by shooting.

Emily is still unhappy with Clarice for deciding she can just come back and worm her way into life again. Gaby is trying to be parental about the situation, telling her that she can't speak to Clarice that way- or Shay for that matter, but on the inside, she wishes to comfort her because she feels the same way. Emily has been nervous, anxious, and paranoid about Severide and her potential for her attacks has increased greatly, putting the entire firehouse and her wolf on high alert. Her brother has become distant again, but his effort has not diminished as much, she still gets daily texts from him and phone calls about every other day- she's worried along with her sister about this case.

When Emily hears of her sister buying a bar, she wonders how it's going to work. Their insurance helps greatly with the cost of her medicine, and she's on dance scholarship, and the charity she got Basil through helps with her costs- food and upkeep. She's unhappy about it though, there's more attention taken away from her even if she doesn't always like being the center of it. The not-so-inconspicuous fighting between Severide and his replacement (whom she hasn't had the greatest of interests in) makes her even more nervous and she is beginning to develop and somewhat irrational fear that something will happen to him if they can't resolve things. When Clarice gives birth, she is more upset, the woman took her auntie away once, almost took her away again, and now it's happening again, even if it isn't the same way this time. Emily still doesn't know about her sister and Mills, but she knows something is up because of her sister's growing absence.

Episode 115

Gaby runs to get help for her brother and runs into the street to wave for a passing ambulance. She travels with them into the hospital. At the station again, Emily is only half an hour into her afternoon nap and Gaby is relieved because it means she doesn't have to tell her just yet, but she does explain things to Mills. An investigator informs Gaby that they will be investigating her brother and not the shooting necessarily. Whaley wants Severide to try contacting Renee to get her back on track since she has gone downhill and they haven't heard from her in a very long time. He agrees. The house is called to an accident where a boy falls into Lake Michigan, Severide helps the dad come to terms with things, though the boy is still alive. Shay and Clarice talk about a deal with Clarice's ex- a 50/50 custody agreement. There is a problem with the bar's fourth, silent partner. Gaby checks on her brother, and Emily is weary of coming to the hospital after a meltdown at the house over the situation. Dawson turns to Voight for help. The Dawson siblings argue about Gaby's investigation. Severide finds Renee and tells Whaley she's okay. Later though, she is admitted to the hospital after attempting suicide. Casey gives his mother the ultimatum to move out.

Emily breaks down as she is told the news about her brother. Being her sister's boyfriend, though she doesn't know it, Mills tries to comfort her, but she doesn't respond, she pushes him away and responds to Casey and Severide and some of Hermann instead. When Gaby then informs her that the police department won't really be investigating the shooting, she is told that she needs to do everything she can to make sure Antonio is in the clear- but that part was obvious to her, she didn't need to be told. Emily is worried about the situation with the bar and that silent partner, but Hermann has a heart-to-heart with her reassuring her that everything will be okay. Gaby is absent with their brother in the hospital, and though it's her brother, Emily has a hard time going because of her reputation of hospitals, but Antonio understands. Laura, Emily's aunt, has offered Emily to stay with them since Emily is her niece and is relatively good friends with her cousin, Ava. But Emily doesn't want to burden them with them because of her brother so she declines.

She wants to stay with Matt, and he wants her to stay with him, but he is worried about her and his mother and the way that situation will work out. Emily would consider staying with Severide and her aunt Shay, but because of Clarice and the baby, she opts out. She winds up spending a few nights with Hermann and his crowded household, but she likes it and the attention she gets from Cindy, who finally feels like she has a daughter to care for. Emily also stays with some of the friends she has from the dance studio because they all know very well how to care for her.

She and Seth spend time together and grow closer and the men at the firehouse become suspicious of a possible fling, and are all ready to jump into big-brother mode should that time arrive. She hasn't become much more comfortable about her body around everyone, including her family, but she really is working on it for their sake. With the high tension, she spends at least an extra hour at the studio and refuses to allow any of her fire-family into the studio or at any of the competitions over the weekends.

Episode 116

Clarice and Shay are at the firehouse to meet with a lawyer about the Daniel and Clarice and the baby situation. Casey must lie to his mother's parole officer. Cruz does something at a call that makes everyone upset that he put their lives at risk. The bar crew get to fixing the place up and discover a safe in the wall that they are unsure of what to do with. Shay and Gaby take a homeless man to the hospital who freaks in the ambulance about a needle Shay stuck him with and she accidently pricks herself with the same needle. Tensions run high as she awaits testing to confirm the presence of diseases or illness. Casey isn't talking to Gaby because of the thing with Voight and Mills comforts her. Shay informs Severide that she needs to move out if she and Clarice have any chance at keeping the baby. The next day, Shay and Clarice have found a home they like. The homeless man turned out to be clean and Shay can breathe a huge sigh of relief. Clarice tells Shay that Daniel has agreed to split custody but only if she lives in New York. This feels like the fourth time Shay is take from Emily.

Emily is mad at Shay for wanting to be with Clarice; she is mad because it feels like the whole world has left her for other people. She is mad because people are failing to notice that her world is crumbling. Emily tried to not care what happened to Shay on the call and runs away to the park again where she sits to cry because of her guilt over what she is doing to her aunt. She feels bad, but at the same time, she wants someone to notice that her pain is real and she needs an out for it.

When Emily is told that Shay is moving out of the apartment and in with Clarice, she purposely doesn't tell anyone where she is staying that night, and it turns winds up to be with Seth and his sisters. While at their house, she finds herself in a craft corner that Lexxi has set up for Haley, but uses for some crafts herself, though she does crafts that require more skill and sharp objects. Emily, during the night, sneaks out of bed to marvel at the razors Alexxis uses for her crafts, but stops herself just as she the sensation feels it is getting out of hand. She begins to think she has found her out.

Emily comes back to the station and it seems like barely even her sister realizes she was gone. And then she puts the pieces together and has a screaming match when she realizes that it was Mills she was seeing. When she finds out that Shay knew as well, things are all the worse and even Severide can't find her at the park when he runs after her. She has called one of the Dance moms to picks her up and take her to the studio where lets her rage out in a private dance room at the back of the studio.

Episode 117

Shay tells Severide she wants to have a baby and Severide tells Shay that his dad is coming to visit. The bar crew investigates the safe they found in the wall- it contains a war medal. Gaby and Emily have resolved their issues, but Emily remains distant. Benny comes to the firehouse. Mills and Dawson decide to announce themselves at the Academy dinner. Mills discovers hidden secrets about his father's death and realizes Chief Boden is harboring secrets. Shay tells Gaby about her baby plans and Gaby talks to Severide about whether or not it's a good decision. Shay tells the entire house about her decision, but seems to be the first to realize that there is no little girl jumping into her arms in support and begins to worry about Emily. Boden talks about Mills' father, and Benny walks out on the speech at the dinner. Boden confronts him about it and Benny blames Boden for the death of Mills' father and reveals that Mills' mother had an affair with Boden. This was a conversation that was never meant for Gaby to hear.

Emily is at the firehouse when Severide's dad shows up and immediately dislikes him. She continues to steer clear of Mills and even mouths off to him once or twice. Another argument arises between the two of them like the one she had with Clarice- he doesn't have control of her now that he and her sister are together, he doesn't have a say in her life and doesn't have the authority to reprimand her. She turns to stalk away and sees Benny with a smirk on his face, watching them from a bit of a distance. She sneers at him and vows not to like him.

Emily is not there when Shay announces to the firehouse about her baby plans, and grows worried that she is danger from her recent behavior. She asks around to see if anyone has seen her and Benny tells her that she and Mills had an argument. A call comes in and their conversation is cut short, but there isn't time to think about anything with the upcoming academy dinner that everyone will dress up for and have a good time at.

Emily is throwing herself into her dancing and is working hard in the eyes or her teacher, who thinks the out of dancing is good for her. But the moms are worried that she is pushing herself too far. She writes down the dance moves to numbers she has begun to choreograph for herself. She writes the moves and transitions down in detail, even adding the lyrics and the counts of where to do them in the music. And then she scrutinizes the dances and makes a list of the girls on the competition team she thinks could do them. She adds the finishing touches by sketching simple costume designs.

Episode 118

Dawson confronts Boden about Mill's father's death and Severide asks his dad about it, but both men are reluctant to give up information. The squad responds to a restaurant that is on fire and Casey goes up in flames when a ceiling tile falls on him. Otis discovers homemade fire bombs. Boden tells Severide that his father is no longer welcome at the station when Kelly tells him his father wants to visit one last time. The firehouse is trying to help Shay find a donor, but Benny shows up with donuts, offering one to Emily that he says he found out is her favorite, but she tells him he's creepy and walks away. Benny is not intimidated by the chief. They return to another fire at a restaurant owned by the same man and Boden tells Severide to take his dad with him as an arson investigator. They find a suspect and he says the man paid him to set the fires as part of an insurance scam. Shay asks Severide to be a sperm donor. Mills questions Benny, and he tells Mills that his father panicked and killed another firefighter along with him. Boden suspends Mills when he attacks Benny. Casey shuts Heather down and says he can't have a relationship with his best friend's widow.

Emily stays at the firehouse during the first call. She doesn't understand why she has to still go there, but she does anyway. It gives her a chance to continue working on her dances. When Benny arrives with donuts, he offers her a lemon kreme. Gaby thinks this is slightly odd that he knows it's her favorite and reaches her foot out and pulls Emily's rolling chair away from him and towards herself. Emily doesn't flinch. She tells him he's creepy and stands. Gaby smiles inwardly and then shouts her name in a reprimanding manner because she has to. As she walks away, Shay notices the journal tucked under her arm and watches as a small piece of paper falls from the pages as she walks out of the common room. Shay stands and mumbles something about the bathroom, needing to go the same way for that. On her way, she ducks to grab the paper and on it are two words written in Emily's neatest, curly cursive: it hurts.

Emily is gone when they get back from the second fire, but she had the decency to leave them a note saying she was taken to the studio again. Thus, she is not present when the fight breaks out between Mills and Kelly's dad. But she does continue to pour everything she has into her dance, worrying the moms further, and Shay, who still doesn't know the extent to which she is working herself. Shay then becomes suspicious of the way Gaby doesn't seem to be responding to her sister's behavior.

Episode 119

Severide gets the wrong idea about Matt and Heather and grows angry at Casey. The squad begins flushing fire hydrants and they are called by a little boy to help his brother who fell down a laundry chute. Severide informs Casey that he wants Mills transferred to squad, and Casey gets upset that he was not informed sooner. Dawson comforts the little boy's mother at the hospital. There is a drive by shooting at the firehouse and Dawson is relieved to find that Emily isn't there. Shay asks Severide for his sperm, who eventually agrees. On their Next shift, the house finds out that the little boy didn't make it. The paramedics respond to a call where the ambulance is stolen with Gaby still in the back. Casey goes to the gang that has been harassing the firefighters and they tell him that the firefighters flushed the drugs they hide in the hydrants. They back off when the firefighters dress in their blues to pay their respects at the little boy's funeral.

Emily is mad at Severide for the way he treated Casey, but at the same time, she still hasn't showed a while lot of support for anyone recently. Emily is at school now, as she has been during the week, but Gaby's behavior startles Shay when the shooting happens and Gaby is relieved that Emily isn't there, but forgot that she was in fact at school. Shay texts Emily, asking her if she's okay and gets a reply along the lines of 'why wouldn't I be?' Shay responds saying she loves her and doesn't get a return. She tries to convince herself that she lost service.

Emily is once again at school when the ambulance is stolen, and Gaby is reluctant to tell her that a little boy died, though she knows she will find out sooner or later. Emily is mad at Casey when, on her way to the firehouse after school, she sees him associating with the gang that shot up the firehouse and nearly killed them all. She runs off and sends Gaby a text saying there's a competition she needs to prepare for and she will see her later.

It's a night they'll be at the firehouse for sleeping so, Emily decides to tell Gaby that she's staying with a friend from the same school and will see her afterwards. Shay debates whether or not to call Abby or get the other mom's phone numbers and ask them about Emily. When she goes to ask Gaby, Gaby is confused at why she would think she needs to do such a thing.

Antonio continues to talk Emily over the phone and over text message. He texts her that night as she sits in Alexx's craft corner, thumbing at a razor blade. It simply says 'I love you' and it reduces her to silent sobs. Feeling as though her life is losing control, she wraps the blade in paper and puts it in her backpack before returning to bed.

Alright, so, I need to know what you think about Emily, in the future developing a relationship with the intelligence unit.

Once again, namely Erin.

But also Jay (Partly b/c of Gaby with this one)

And I think she'd like Ruzek.

For those of you who don't watch or don't like CPD, this won't be their show, it will be their characters.

Also, part of the next story, I mentioned this in a much earlier chapter:

How you guys felt about a school shooting. And this is only to get Emily out of school because of her various issues and because a lot of dancers are homeschooled so they can focus a lot more on their dance.

Anyway, I don't feel like I got a lot of feedback on that being part of the story, but I like the way I've written it so far, so let me know.
