Feels good to be back. :D So so so sorry for the months you had to wait, and i left off at such a terrible part! Ugh, I'd kill me if I were you. I hope you don't hate me, at least i came back! :) Let me know what you think, Review!

I also cant thank my amazing friend, Sam, enough for helping me with these stories. Literally don't know what I'd do without you.

Sorry about the ending, it took me forever just to come up with that lame ending because I had no idea where to end it. My apologies, but dont worry because I will be writing a lot! i did this entire chapter just today because I'm excited to get them going again.

So so so so sorry again! :(

Shock. That's pretty much what I felt for the first three weeks. My brother will be getting married… again, and Nancy was pregnant… again. I don't know why it shocked me, I knew Steve and Nancy wanted more kids and I figured Roy would get married again some day, but did they have to tell me at the same time? They nearly gave me a heart attack. I'm over it now, I have new things on my mind, like Cheyenne's first birthday party. Tomorrow. Very bittersweet time. I don't know whether to cry because my baby's growin up, or to smile because, well, its her first birthday!

Brock seems to have the excited part down, so I guess that means I can be the sad one. He's the one who picked out the cake, got presents, and party decorations. He made me get the food, and obviously cook it too, but he hung everything up, I had most of the food cooked already, now we just have to blow up some balloons, and everything should be set.

I laughed when Cheyenne let out a big yawn, making a noise with it and rubbing her eyes. She was sitting on the couch spacing off, just looking at the floor.

"Are you tired, baby?" Brock asked her. She looked at him, then yawned again. I checked the clock and realized it was already passed nine.

"Can you lay her down?" I asked, then took a drink of the tea I had just poured myself. He got up off the floor which was covered in balloons and picked Cheyenne up off the couch.

"Only if you start blowin." He said, kissing my cheek when he walked by me. I sighed, but sat down on the floor and picked up a purple balloon, stretched it, then blew it up. Brock came out just as I was tying it, he locked the front door, then sat in front of me. I threw him a blue balloon and he started blowing it up.

"I cant believe shes one…" He said, shaking his head as he tied his balloon.

"Not yet." I replied.

"Pretty much." I turned and looked at the clock.

"We still have two hours and thirty-four minutes, quit pushin it." I looked up at him and rolled my eyes at his smirk.

"We have seventeen more years before she's gone, don't be so sad." I just gave him a look of disapproval while I blew up another balloon. "You have forever with me!" He added with a big grin. I took the balloon out of my mouth and raised my eyebrow.

"You're supposed to be cheerin me up." I reminded him sarcastically.

"Fine, I'll just go be with Carri, or any of the other women I've been with. They'd all be cheered up if they got to hear that." I smirked.

"I think I have Carris number in the phonebook if ya wanna give her a call." His face fell. "I'm sure she'd be very excited to hear from you."

"Not if I tell her you're right next to me." I laughed.

"Yeah, maybe you should call someone who's not afraid of me." He chuckled.

"Linda?" I looked up from my balloon to glare at him.

"She ain't afraid of me yet?" He shook his head.

"Don't think so, I just gave her a check-up today." He answered nonchalantly.

"And if you're not jokin you're gonna need to get a check-up." He shook his head while he finished blowing up his balloon.

"Not jokin," He paused to put his hand out. "don't knock my teeth out though. She said she was lookin for a good dentist and knew I was the right man to come to, it's business, honey. Not a big deal." He went back to the balloons like it was nothing.

"Not a big deal? Do I need to start comin to work with you?!" He shrugged.

"I wouldn't mind that. You'd get bored anyway."

"Quit actin like this isn't a big deal, Brock."

"Its not, Reba. You're makin it a big deal. I dated her for a couple months, you act like I was madly in love with her and I still have feelings or somethin. It's nothing. She's just an old friend to me." He explained… well, tried to explain.

"No. She's an old skank who you slept with." Brock sighed.

"Reba, I know sex has a completely different definition in your book. In yours its sentimental, passionate, loving, and you take it very seriously. Well, before you, I was complete opposite. Didn't mean anything, no love, I just did it. I liked it. I used girls for it, then forgot about them. Not a big deal. She's not a big deal. Just cuz I slept with her doesn't mean she ever meant anything to me." I thought about it for a second. Maybe he was right, I know he would sleep with girls and I know it wouldn't mean anything to him. He didn't do it a lot, he had a few girlfriends and only one or two girls that would just come around because they were just like he was. I let out a deep breath, then nodded.

"But don't ever say that again. You sounded like an ass." He laughed.

"Well, I was."

"Yes, I know that, but everybody else doesn't, nor do the need to. You're not that guy anymore."

"Yeah, thanks for that." I grinned.

"No problem." he crawled over to me, pushing the balloons that were between us out of the way, then put his hands on either side of me on the floor, still on his knees. I leaned back, supporting myself with my hands and he crawled forward a little bit more until his knees hit my Indian styled legs. He inched his face towards mine and just as he was about to connect our lips I stuck out my tongue and he accidentally kissed it. I laughed and he wiped his mouth on my shoulder.

"Was it necessary?" I laughed again and nodded. "Wrong answer." He kissed me and I brought my hands up to his face, then fell backwards on a balloon which instantly popped. We laughed and pulled back.

"You better hope to God that she didn't wake up." He shrugged.

"She was tired anyway, she'll go right back to sleep." He kissed me again, but I pulled back.

"We have balloons to blow up."

"I have a wife to love." I smirked.

"You do that enough."

"No such thing as too much, right?" I hated when he was sweet like this. He got his way and nothing got done. He knew that too. He gently kissed me again and he almost had me, but I snapped out of it just in time.

"Brock…" I said against his lips, but he didn't budge. "We gotta get this finished, darlin'." He pulled back, but looked so sad.

"What needs to be done?" He asked in a sigh, standing up.

"Balloons need to be hung." He started picking up the balloons and hanging them with tape. Since I was the parent who didn't want her to age, I didn't think I needed to help. I was wrong. It took about five minutes before I got yelled at for it. All the balloons were hung in bout 15 minutes. They were everywhere. In almost every room.

"Can we be done now?" He whined. I looked around, then nodded.

"I think so. I don't know, you're the one who wants this happen so bad, you're the one who bought all the crap. You tell me."

"Yes. Yes we are. I'm going to bed." I grabbed his arm when he turned to walk away.

"Can you start a bath for me? I'm gonna wash up the dishes I dirtied while cookin, and feed Dixie." He nodded and turned back around to walk away. I poured Dixie some food and as soon as she heard it she came running to her late dinner. I petted her head, then washed the few dishes in the sink. When I looked in the bathroom the water was running and the bubbles were already in it, but Brock was in the room, already in bed. I peeked my head and made a psssst sound, but he didn't move.

"I wanted you to run the bath for both of us…" I said, but he didn't move. "You're sleepin already?" Nothing. I sighed and took my bath. A long, peaceful bath. I was kinda happy he ended up falling asleep so quickly, it was nice to have quiet. After that, I got ready for bed and fell asleep almost immediately.

Ow. Ow. "Ouch!" I exclaimed. When I opened my eyes I saw my giggly daughter smacking my face. "Don't hit, you butthead." She looked pleased that she woke me up. "Where's your rude dad?" She grabbed her sippy-cup and flung back onto the pillows, then just drank her juice.

"I've been on the phone all morning, that's where I am." Brock said, coming into the bedroom.

"With who?"

"People telling her happy birthday."

"Oh, c'mon. She don't know that many people, couldn't have been too long."

"Well, between my mom, who talked to me for about 10 minutes, then your mom…" I laughed. "who talked to me for about… an hour and a half."

"That's it?!" He chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah."

"Well thanks for leaving her with me while I was sleepin."

"She slap you awake?" I nodded. "I get it every morning, so you cant complain." Something 'dinged' in the kitchen and he hurried out there. A minute later he came back in with oatmeal and a candle in it that he had to hold up, otherwise it'd fall down. I smiled and put Cheyenne in my lap while Brock started singing happy birthday and walking towards us. I joined in and she looked around, confused. When we finished he put the oatmeal in front of her and she just looked at it with big eyes. She tried reaching for it, but I quickly grabbed her arm and pulled it back.

"Blow, baby girl." Brock said, then demonstrated. She just furrowed her brows and looked at it. I smirked and shook my head, then blew the candle out. I clapped and 'yayed', then Cheyenne started doing the same. Brock took the candle out and replaced it with a spoon, I started feeding her, not wanting her to make a mess in the bed and Brock disappeared with the candle, then came back in with a cup of coffee which I was thankful for.

I got up at 8, drank two cups of coffee, watched cartoons with Cheyenne for an hour, started getting her ready, then myself and by the time all of that was finished it was almost time for people to start showing up. Of course Steve and Nancy showed up early, Trevor was soon to be three and Nancy was about 6 months pregnant, Steve… was the same. We didn't have too many people come, just a few friends. Lori Ann showed up late, but she showed up. With a present. A cute outfit that I was excited about, so I couldn't be upset. She got mostly clothes, except from Brock and I. Brock, of course, wanted to get her toys. Toys that she'll never play with. She seemed more excited about the clothes than anything else. Putting clothes in her mouth, flinging them around… she loved them. We ate food, and cake, Cheyenne got her own, little cake with a candle in it but she still didn't get what to do about with fire on top of her cake. Brock had to help.

"Bye, thank you!" I said to the last couple people to leave. I let out a sigh and looked around at the mess.

"I'll help, honey. Don't worry." Lori Ann said, then headed toward the kitchen. I laid Cheyenne down in her crib for a nap while we cleaned up. Nancy and Trevor were still here, I have to take them home, Steve took the car because he got called into work or somethin.

"So, the doctor is almost positive it's a girl." Nancy said while wiping the counters. "Looks like we're gonna have a little Allyson runnin around."

"Really?" I asked and she nodded. "Congratulations! I'm so happy for you, I know you've been hoping for a girl." She smiled and nodded.

"Middle name?" Lori Ann asked.

"Nell." I smiled big.

"You're gonna name your kid after me…? Of all people…?" I asked, chuckling.

"Of course! It was gonna be after Helen, but Helen doesn't go with Allyson, and we kinda love you, too." She smirked.

"What's Trevor think about havin a baby sister?" Lori Ann asked.

"He's pretty excited… for now. I think all kids are excited at first, but give it a few months and he'll be ready to give her back."

"Steve?"

"He's excited too. He got his boy, now he wants a girl. He wants a 'princess' and 'daddys girl'. I think he sees Cheyenne and she makes him want a daughter."

"Well, they certainly aren't all rainbows and butterflies." I said, smirking. We finished cleaning up and not long after that Lori Ann left. I looked at the clock and realized it was almost five already. "Are you ready to go?" I asked Trevor who was sitting right next to Brock watching TV. He looked up at me and shook his head.

"I like this show." I looked at the TV and laughed when I saw they were watching golf.

"I don't." Nancy came out of the bathroom and sighed.

"I swear I gotta pee every five minutes."

"Yeah, I don't miss that…" I said.

"Get your shoes on, Trevor, we gotta get goin. I don't think Aunt Reba and Uncle Brock want us here all night."

"Uh huh…" He said, nodding.

"No, they don't. C'mon and please don't be a pain in mommys butt." She said, sounding exhausted.

"He can stay with us if he wants to." Brock said. "Anyone who's willing to watch golf with me is allowed to stay here." Nancy laughed.

"Well, that would be great, I have a lot to do around the house." She looked at her son. "You wanna stay here tonight?" He nodded, not taking his eyes off the TV.

"Well, okay. Looks like you gotta buddy tonight." I said to Brock, then leaned down to give him a quick kiss goodbye. "Wake Cheyenne up, please, or she'll be up all night." He nodded, just like Trevor and I breathed a laugh and shook my head. Nancy and I both slid on our shoes and quickly left since she seemed eager to get home and get stuff done.

"Thank you so much for keepin him tonight." She said as she got out of the car.

"No problem, thank you for comin."

"Of course! What time do you want us to get him tomorrow?" I shrugged.

"I don't care, we have nothin' to do."

"Okay, I'll call you tomorrow then." I nodded,

"Alright, see you tomorrow."

"Bye!" She said, closing the car door. I watched her go into the house, then left and went straight back home where the boys were still watching golf.

"Wheres Cheyenne?" I asked. He lifted her from his lap so I could see her and I sighed relieved, then went and plopped down on the loveseat. "I really don't feel like foldin all her clothes." I said, staring at the clothes all over the living room floor because Cheyenne had thrown them everywhere.

"Ready for another one yet?" he asked, smiling.

"Ha…" He chuckled and went back to the television. "I'm not watchin this all night."

"Good thing you have clothes to fold." I raised an eyebrow.

"Good thing you're helpin." The phone started to ring and I sighed.

"I'll get it, I'll get it…" Brock said, standing and setting Cheyenne in my lap. I watched him walk over to the phone and answer it. "Hello?"…. "Hi, Roy." Brock turned and looked at me. "Uh, yeah, she's right here." I sat Cheyenne on the floor and walked over to the phone. "Okay." He handed me the phone.

"Hello, Roy…"

"Hey! I cant believe Cheyenne's one already! She was tiny when I visited."

"She was about seven months, I don't think that's very tiny."

"Well, she's the first baby I've seen that small since you, so that's pretty tiny to me. I'll have a present for her when you guys finally come up for a visit."

"Alrighty, sounds good."

"Wait, I have more, and since you guys 'needed a couple weeks' I figured I'd just call you and tell you that my wedding is December 14th, you guys can make it, right?"

"We wouldn't miss it for the world, that's perfect because we can celebrate my birthday too."

"I figured you'd like that. Well, okay, we'll see you guys soon then."

"Okay, bye." I hung up the phone and looked at Brock who was still standing next to me. "His wedding is two days after my birthday."

"Hope I don't have any appointments scheduled that week yet."

"Just tell them it's a family emergency."

"Aunnntt Reeeebaaa."

"Whaaaaat?" I mocked.

"I'm hungry." I warmed him up some food from the party, he took a few bites and claimed he was full, then went back to watching the cartoons Brock put on for both of them. Brock and I sat down and folded all the clothes, which really didn't take that long because he actually helped, then I carried all the clothes into Cheyennes room and he brought her toys in there. We watched kids shows all night until it was finally bed time, Cheyenne was getting grouchy and Trevor kept yawning and rubbing his eyes.

"Do you want to sleep out here and watch TV or do you want to sleep with us?" he thought about this for a moment until he finally decided that the living room was his best option, thank God, he's a bed hog. I pulled the couch out and made the bed for him while Brock put Cheyenne to sleep. He picked what he wanted to watch, then I shut off the lights, kissed him goodnight and went back into our room where Brock was getting ready to shower. I was thankful I showered this morning because I couldn't wait to lay in bed. Brock came in about fifteen minutes later with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"They're both passed about." he said when he came in.

"I figured they would be, did you shut off the TV?" he nodded and got in a pair of boxers, then slid into bed.

"I cant believe it was a year ago that you were having contractions."

"I cant believe it was a year ago that my baby was six pounds and nine ounces." I said sadly. He smirked and pulled me close to him.

"Don't be sad, we'll have more babies." I gave him a look of disapproval and he laughed.

"Next time you can push the kid out of a hole this big." I said, showing him with my fingers.

"Nope. I saw what you went through and my level of respect shot through the ceiling… for every mother."

"So did mine, I think I apologized to my mom after having Cheyenne." We both chuckled then fell into a comfortable silence for a few minutes.

"Thanks for birthing my child." I laughed.

"Anytime." I thought about that for a minute. "Well, not any time…" He smirked and nodded.

"I gotchya."

"Please don't just go knockin me up every chance you get." I said, worriedly. He laughed and shook his head.

"Aren't you in control of that? Little miss 'oh, I forgot my birth control, but didn't want to say anything.'"

"And if I would've remembered it…?" he sighed.

"Then we wouldn't have a Cheyenne..." he said, like a kid getting in trouble. I nodded once.

"Very good." I said, patting his cheek.

"But you are in control of that, and since I saw you take it today…" he rolled over, hovering over me and kissed my neck. "a little practice never hurt." I chuckled quietly.

"I think we pretty much have that part down." He smiled and pecked my lips.

"Refresh my memory." he whispered. And I did, because he knew how to drive me absolutely crazy.
