Terezi checked her bag for the 400th time this morning. She sure didn't want anything going wrong. Terezi Preparation Pyrope was not gonna screw up today. She'd gotten her schedule early this week, but didn't find out until she shuffled through some old mail. Her new school believed in many strange things, but sometimes they could be useful. Every student's schedule alternated between 8 classes. Instead of having eight hour long classes each day they had four 2 hour long classes, but everyone still got their fill of 8 classes. Their schedule alternated every other day with 4 classes. The first class of her day would be PE. She wasn't an Olympian, but she wasn't completely terrible either. That would be the only class she had anything to worry about.
Her grades in her last school were what landed her in this prestigious school anyways, along with her background. She wasn't poor, nor was she ever picked on for being someone with an unfortunate blood line. Most of the money she got was now fixed with monthly checks from family. Terezi was lucky.
The rest of her classes for today would be ones she didn't have to worry about. A couple textbooks, spiral notebooks, and pencils would be all she needed for them. She looked at her red clock and strained her eyes to try reading it. She could only guess it read 6:10. Still 20 minutes she had to kill. Terezi turned back to her bag. School had been on her mind for a while. Hopefully this school would prove to be helpful in her road to becoming an important legal figure. The dream still made chills travel down her spine.
The remaining 20 minutes passed by quickly as she picked up all her stuff and left to her new school.
"WAIT!" she heard someone scream. Terezi turned around to face the voice. "Fuck Terezi wait up, I don't have a damn ride. You've gotta take me," Vriska pleaded breathlessly.
Terezi wasn't so sure if she wanted to drive someone to school. She barely made it there alive herself.
"You want a ride from a blind chick?" Terezi asked to make herself clear.
Vriska looked somewhat dumbfounded. "Do you at least know the way to the bus?"
"I'll lead you there," she sighed.
"You're the best."
Terezi grunted.
The 2 rode the bus together and it wasn't surprising when a stray hand managed to find her butt. Once they were dropped off Vriska confessed to trying to freak out Terezi by touching her butt.
"But I only did it since you did it to me first," Vriska explained herself.
"I don't know what the hell you're talking about. I never laid a hand on you," Terezi said holding back a giggle.
"Oh god," Vriska cursed herself. With Vriska alone to her thoughts Terezi had the chance to leave. She'd taken a brief tour of the school a while back and Terezi was fairly sure where to go to get changed. The hall ways were cramped with many students and many of them were very lost.
"Hey, glasses," Someone called out. She didn't really pay attention to it. It could've been anyone named glasses. Then she felt a tap on her shoulder.
Terezi turned around to the man trying to get her attention. He seemed a little off, but otherwise looked somewhat nice. His red and blue framed glassed looked really cool to her. His eyes looked somewhat bloodshot and his hair was neatly cut and brushed.
"Do you know where the guys locker room is?" He was one of the kids hopelessly lost.
"Today's your lucky day," Terezi declared, "This blind girl will lead you to your class."
"Great," he muttered.
"At least I'm not the one here acting blind," Terezi rebuked whens she heard him. "What's you name anyways?"
"Sollux," he answers curtly.
"Terezi Pyrope," she says with a toothy smile.
After a moment of walking she leads Sollux to the men's locker room, making sure by wiping her hand across the tiny sign reading the letters.
"Thanks," Sollux mutters.
"No problem apple berry."
"What did you just call me?"
"Apple Berry. You know, because of your glasses," Terezi explained.
Sollux shakes his head in disapproval but can't keep back a smile. With that done she leaves Sollux and takes a few steps to the girls locker room. It'd only make sense if they were next door to each other.
The moment Terezi walked into the room a blast of cheap perfume hit her like a wall. She covered her sensative nose and made her way to her locker.
"Thanks for leaving me at the front doors," a voice behind her calls.
"I wasn't gonna stay by your side forever," Terezi said with a annoyance sprinkled in her voice.
"Geeeeeeeez," Vriska huffed, "Someone's snappy,"
Terezi was already undressing when she heard a another voice call her name. "Terezi?"
She was in her boxers and gym shirt when she turned to face them. Terezi didn't recognize the voice. It sounded somewhat monotone and froggy?"
Terezi reached out her hands to grab the person talking to her and took a deep wiff. A hint of cherry.
"It's Aradia," she said with a little bit more enthusiasm.
"Aradia!" Terezi exclaimed with surprise. "I thought you were dead," she cried.
"Can't kill me that easily," Aradia joked, facing Vriska.
"Thank god we put that whole thing behind us," Vriska said. "Right Aradia?"
She ignored her and turned back to Terezi.
"It really sucked. Because of all the blood loss they had to do a blood transfusion. It sounded really expensive, but they were also doing an experiment with frog blood and the similarities of it compared to human blood. So I volunteered, the blood was free and they even paid me for doing the experiment," she explained, going back into her monotone.
Normally in schools, this sort of talk would land anyone on the radar and labeled as 'creepy'. Yet, the behavior of kids around the country was going downhill pretty fast, little trolls. So acts like these were somewhat respected and normal.
"Thank god I got to see you," Terezi expressed. Her friends were something very important to her and it's not easy to hear when something like this happens.
"Hurry up ladies can't wait all day!" the teacher yelled from her office. "Five more minutes!"
"Shit," Vriska muttered. She hasn't even undressed yet.
Gym's gonna be fun. Terezi thought with a tiny grin forming.
Urm. Sorry for not updating in 5 months3 I just kinda looked at this story and decided it's a train wreck. Cause it really is. And this chapter isn't much better, all this filler makes it feel like an anime catching up on it's manga. Or One Piece. Anyways I didn't feel like anyone liked this much, so I kinda abandoned it. Sorry babus.
