Remus managed a quick, ragged breath before Sirius' lips sealed around his own. They were hot, singeing his skin like tendrils of flame. Sirius' dexterous tongue danced along the line of Remus' lower lip, and a muffled moan from the smaller man granted him entrance to the mouth behind it. He dove in, sweeping the inside for traces of the sweet wine they'd just consumed, and teased Remus' tongue into joining his in a playful battle for submission.
"Remus," Sirius whispered when he drew back to let his companion breathe. "My sweet, sweet wolf… do you know how often I picture you, just so? Lips, pink and swollen… eyes as big as the moon… skin, damp with sweat, and want, and need?" He bit down purposefully at the juncture of neck and shoulder below him.
Remus was a mess. This was happening fast, far too fast. Shaking nearly uncontrollably, he couldn't stop the fierce blush that bloomed across his face as he listened to Sirius' heavy, sensual tone. He felt more than a little overwhelmed. This encounter didn't seem right. He tried to shift his legs from under the older boy, and froze when he encountered Sirius' very apparent erection… brushing lightly back and forth across his own. He didn't know how he'd been so entirely stripped of control, and in the space of minutes; his brain was short-circuiting, and like a bystander, there was nothing he could do to stop it.
"Remus, talk to me," Sirius pressed his lower half fully into Remus, in turn forcing the younger's body deep into the cushions of the luxurious bed. "Tell me what you want. Tell me how I can please you." Tell me how I can make you mine, was the unspoken request between them. Remus just shook his head jerkily.
"I… I can't. I can't be just another notch on your bedpost, Sirius," Remus turned his head, and buried his forehead in the pillow nearest him. "I'm not strong like you." He sensed Sirius' confusion as he absorbed the words just thrown at him.
"No, no, no…" Sirius pulled back abruptly, freeing Remus to draw his legs up and curl around them. "Remus... What? No, don't do this." He dropped back on to his heels and braced his hands on his knees. "Please don't turn this into something it wasn't meant to be. I brought you here because I want you. Not to add to my belt, or for bragging rights, but because it's perfect. We're perfect. A perfect fit; we always have been." Sirius tentatively brought his hand to Remus' shoulder, and was stung when the shoulder shied away from his touch.
Remus fought to take even breaths, straining against the tears that were poised to spill down his cheeks. He wanted Sirius so very badly. It was impossible not to want him. But Remus had been thrown away, more than once in his life; he wasn't made of tough enough stuff to have it happen again, even if Sirius had managed to convince himself that wasn't what he wanted.
After a few moments of tense inhales, Remus managed to push up into a sitting position. His body suddenly weighed a ton, and his limbs were slow to respond. He couldn't quite make himself look up at Sirius' face, but he could easily imagine the pained look that must have been gracing his features by now. Gazing somewhere in the vicinity of Sirius' feet, he took a shallow breath and spoke up.
"Sirius Black, you are incontestably the most desirable creature in Hogwarts. I always wanted… that is… what I mean…." Remus petered out for a moment, collecting his thoughts before attempting to finish. "All of this; it's like a dream, a wish granted by a fairy Godwitch. But I can't do it. It's too perfect." Sirius opened his mouth to argue, or perhaps agree – and Remus was willing to hear none of it.
"And what happens tomorrow? When the sun rises, and the school wakes up, and all the 'Sirius admirers' lines up for the holiday break of the century – can you honestly say you'll turn them all down?" The slight figure gained strength from his challenge, and rose up off the bed swiftly. Turning towards the door, his keen ears perked as the sounds of shuffling reached them, and his hand shot out to still the movement.
"Remus, please," Sirius pleaded from the bed, upset and frustrated at the unexpected derailment of his evening. "I know what you're thinking, and I'm listening. But you're wrong! This is not the perfect seduction. I'm trying to show you that this is different!" Sirius watched helplessly as Remus simply shook his head and staggered to the door. Pausing for a heartbeat with his hand on the knob, Remus threw one last look of misery over his shoulder at the bed's lone occupant, and then slipped quietly out of the room.
AN: Sorry, the angst bug bit me. Not the end, promise!
