Yes! We actually got an update! This is the second part of the 4th of July trilogy. So, here we go. But first...
Platrium: I will tell you that you are wrong. Because I know nobody will actually figure it out. Especially there is one other thing that happens this leg that I didn't mention in the next time section. But there are parts that you are close. And referring to the U-turn, recall that this is Bowser and Bowser Jr. we're talking about. They could just intimidate someone into giving them their card...
So, here we go.
Disclaimer: Nothing remains to be mine in this story, but the Sole Smasher Series I created is my idea based off another guys idea.
Previously on the Amazing Race...
After teams were hit with the news of a continuing leg, 8 teams continued their race from Egypt to Switzerland. One team however, wasn't so lucky.
"This leg may be continuing, but since you're the last team here, you have been eliminated from the race." Dalton said, shocking both of them.
"What?" Daisy said in shock.
While in Switzerland, Toadette cooked up something delicious.
"Since I'm the first judge, I get to eat it."
"Can't we even try it?" The second judge asked.
While Luigi burned up.
"How can you not cook cheese successfully?" Luigi muttered, going to try again.
While en route to the pitstop, many individual races occurred.
"Don't let them pass us!" Bowser roared, watching Koopa and Dry Bones's taxi get farther behind.
"They won't stay in front of us for very long." Yoshi said determinedly.
In the end, Yoshi and Birdo took the top.
"No, we had that!" King Boo groaned.
And Bowser and Bowser Jr. hit the bottom.
"I'm sorry to tell you that you've been eliminated from the race." Both looked down dejected upon hearing this.
"At least, I would say that if this wasn't a non-elimination leg, which it is." Both looked up.
8 teams continue to remain. Who will be eliminated, next?
The air was nice and cool in the area of the fountain of shame. The sun was slowly starting to rise from the horizon. It would be a couple of hours before Yoshi and Birdo would depart. The weather was calling for rain to come later during the day, and Dalton was preparing for that. However, he was not prepared for the star sprite with a grudge to come out of a taxi and grab him from behind.
"So, how's the race doing without me?" Starlow asked. Dalton could only mumble stuff, as Starlow was covering his mouth. Starlow then noticed the young cameraman, watching the whole thing. Using star powers, Starlow whisked the cameraman away.
"You're lucky I'm in a good mood. Now, you get to be cameraman again. Understand?" Starlow growled. Dalton nodded very fast. Starlow then realized that the episode had already started. She threw Dalton aside.
"From what I'm aware of, Yoshi and Birdo were the first to arrive at the pitstop at 10:17 AM, so they will depart first at 10:17 PM."
Yoshi and Birdo: First to depart; 10:17 PM
"Make your way to India and find the Ganges river." Yoshi read.
Teams must now do what Yoshi just said. They must fly via plane and then travel via Rickshaw to the Ganges river, where they'll find their next clue.
"If we continue working well together like this, I think we can pull out a lot more first place finishes. We just need to keep our act together, not get lost, and finish tasks quickly." Birdo said to the camera as the duo got in thier car.
King Boo and Boo: Second to depart; 10:18 PM
"Follow them, now." King Boo told his son, who nodded, grabbed the bags, and grabbed a car. He then began driving somehow and stayed right behind the car that held the dinosaurs.
"We were robbed of a first place finish last leg. Those two must learn that they don't mess with the king. Ever." King Boo growled in a pre leg interview.
"Anybody messes with me, they will feel the pain, I will assure you that." King Boo grinned, looking at the car. "Pass them."
"Will do." Boo slowly began picking up speed, changing lanes and keeping his eyes on the car in front.
"Is that the ghosts?" Yoshi asked from his car, looking in the rear view mirror.
"Change lanes. Don't let them get in front of us." Birdo said sternly, which Yoshi listened.
"Bah, change back." King Boo snarled from his car. Boo listened, but was responded by Yoshi changing lanes again. There was no way to pass.
"Stupid dinosaurs."
Goomba and Shy Guy: Third to depart; 10:35
"We're going to a river, the one place I can drown at." Goomba muttered.
"What about lakes?"
"That's an exception."
"Ocean?"
"Also an exception."
"Swimming pool?"
"Ok, that's enough Shy Guy. Lets just get in the car."
"Last leg definetely proved that we can pull ahead of a group, even when in the very back. We went from last to third. We may be completely broke, but if we stay far in front of everybody, we'll be just fine." Shy Guy said confinetely in a pre leg interview.
Yoshi and Birdo: Dating
King Boo and Boo: Father and Son
As Yoshi stopped his car, the boos rammed their car into it. They cackled and floated right through the doors and went to a terminal.
"Ugh, those guys are gonna get it." Birdo muttered, getting out of the car and slamming the door. Yoshi followed suite.
The dating dinosaurs searched the airport and found the boos intimidating a poor worker into giving them tickets for the best flight.
"Hey! What the hell was that back there?" Birdo asked the two.
"You guys appearantely don't get it. I'm the king, and whatever I say goes. I've been flexible with anything besides first place, but not now that I was robbed of it. Let me tell you this, I will stop at nothing to make sure both of you get what's coming towards you, I can tell you that." King Boo grinned.
"Yeah, now get out of my dads face." Boo laughed.
"Birdo, I think it's best we leave them be." Yoshi said, trying to coax his girlfriend away from a possible fight.
"No. I don't walk away from fights. You want a piece of me? Just try and stop me, I dare ya to."
"Challenge accepted." King Boo laughed before spitting on her. Yoshi's eyes widened.
As Goomba and Shy Guy rushed into the airport, they were met with a loud noise and a lot of swearing. Dalton sighed, knowing he would have to edit this out later, and it would be long and painful.
"Maybe we should go the other way?" Goomba questioned. Shy Guy grabbed Goomba and dragged him in the direction of the noise.
"When you hear a noise like that, its probably a fight thats about to start. And I like fights." Shy Guy smiled in a interview at the airport.
"Hey guys, what flight did you get on?" Shy Guy asked when he realized what the screaming came from.
"None of your business!" King Boo spat, literally spitting on Yoshi. A low growl was heard from Yoshi. He turned to the co workers.
"Just talk to the lady up there. She'll give you tickets to a flight leaving at 4 in the afternoon. It's the earliest, trust me." Yoshi showed proof by showing his plane tickets.
"Thanks." Goomba thanked before going to the ticket lady.
"What? Why would you give another team an edge!? King Boo asked in rage.
"Because you didn't want to. That's how we'll play, by the opposite you do."
"That's it. This means war." King Boo trudged off with Boo closely behind.
"Trust me, they will be stopped." Boo grunbled in a interview at the airport.
King Boo and Boo: First on Flight 1
Yoshi and Birdo: Second on Flight 1
Goomba and Shy Guy: Third on Flight 1
Then, Toad and Toadette walked in.
"What the? When did you guys get here?" Dalton asked the mushrooms.
"We left a while ago. We don't have to wait for you if you're not there, you know." Toadetter said sweetly before she and Toad left for an attendant.
"Man, I just loved that fight though." Dalton muttered.
Toad and Toadette: Dating
"Excuse me, when does the next flight to the closest airport to the Ganges River depart?" Toad asked.
"Not for a while, I'm afraid. The closest flight leaves at 4, but its a connecting flight, and the connection is short."
"Oh, well whens the next flight?"
"It leaves at 6 the same day."
"Wait, in the afternoon?"
"Yes, no flight leaves in the late night until at least 8 in the morning."
"It's a two hour time bonus. What do you think?" Toadette asked.
"I don't think its worth the risk. If we don't make it, we could be in last place. I'd say take the later flight." Toad answered.
"That's what I like about Toad. He's not into taking major risks, like me." Toadette said sweetly in a interview at the airport.
Toad and Toadette: First on Flight 2
And as time went by, the bottom half of the teams arrived. All of them took flight 2. Everyone however was shocked to see Bowser and his son still in. It was rather disturbing to know that they would still have to deal with them later. And here everyone was celebrating after the monkeys went in. Bowser wanted to go to flight 1, but there were no more seats. So, they were stuck with flight 2.
The day rolled by, with nothing to really do except wait for the flights to depart. During this time, Bowser had a nice little chat with the cousins.
"Look here, I'll keep your little alliance a secret from everyone else. If, you give me your U-turn card."
"What? No way." Dry Bones objected.
"Suit yourself. It will be unfortunate when you lose though." Bowser laughed walking off. The two looked at each other.
"Fine, you can have it." Koopa sighed, pulling out the card.
"That's what I thought." Bowser grinned, swiping the card and walking off.
"We probably screwed ourselves over."
"Indeed."
This is the first flight departing for India carrying Father and son King Boo and Boo, Dating couple Yoshi and Birdo, and co-workers Goomba and Shy Guy. This will be making a connection at...wait...
"Flight 108 has been delayed due to some engine difficulties. We apologize for the inconviniece." An overspeeker said on an intercom.
"Oh thats just great." King Boo muttered.
"This is the second time that this has happened to us. We haven't been stopped by it though, so we aren't afraid." Goomba smiled in a interview at the airport.
Pretty soon, the flight departed.
This flight will be making a connection at the close country of Afghanistan. It should be arriving at 1 AM adding in delay time.
This is the second flight departing for India carrying the other five teams. They will not be making a connection and will be arriving a half hour after the first.
King Boo and Boo, Yoshi and Birdo, Goomba and Shy Guy: Currently arriving at connection in Afghanistan
The flight entered the station followed with 2 ghosts, 2 dinosaurs, 1 red masked guy, and 1 armless brown thing rushing out. Almost immediately, they heard this.
"Final boarding call for flight 142." The intercom said.
"We're only just landing here for that!?" King Boo said wide eyed.
"Which way is it?" Yoshi asked in a panic.
"I don't know, follow the signs!"
"Look!" Shy Guy shouted, pointing to a sign. Goomba quickly read over it, causing his eyes to widen.
"Come on, we gotta move! This flights all the way across the station!" Goomba began running with Shy Guy following suite.
Meanwhile, the other two teams were lost.
"You there! Tell us where the terminal for flight 142 is." King Boo grabbed a random child, causing airport security to rush in and attempt to beat the king with metal sticks. Although King Boo was a ghost. So he just went right through it and ran.
Meanwhile, Boo pushed Yoshi and ran.
"Get back here!" Yoshi screamed, running after the ghost.
Birdo was looking out the window, trying to find the plane. She quickly took note of everything and ran.
"Yoshi, this way!" Birdo called. Yoshi turned around and followed.
"Shy Guy, I tripped over my own feet!"
"Quick, get in the trolley." Shy Guy picked him up and put him in a luggage trolley. He then started riding on it to get more ground faster. It was going to be a close one.
"Look out!" A random person screamed as everyone rushed out of the way of the two.
"Outta my way!" King Boo yelled as he pushed random people off of the escalator, trying to gain more ground faster.
"Just down this way." Birdo panted. All the running was making her tired, and she needed to take a break. However, money couldn't wait, and she needed to pull through for the team.
"Flight 142 is now departing."
Just as these words were said, one team reached the gate.
...

Commercial break.
Do you want to do something interesting with your life? Then get a job.
Commercial break over.
...
...
...
...
...
"We're here!" Goomba screamed as the luggage trolley crashed into a person, causing it to flip. The two rushed out and were met with a security guard.
"Did you not hear the intercom? Seating is closed." The guard said sternly.
"Oh come on man, give us a break." Shy Guy pleaded. Was it enough?
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
"I'm sorry, but no. The flight has already started leaving." The guard pointed to the plane. Indeed, it was already leaving the terminal.
"NO!" Came the voice of King Boo. He wasn't going to give up. So he did something drastic.
He went through the window and began floating towards the plane itself.
"STOP! LET ME ON BOARD!" King Boo screamed towards the plane. But with the engine, nothing could be heard.
Of course, the rest of the teams also wouldn't quit. So, with a bunch of guards chasing them, they pursued the plane. This was when Yoshi got an idea.
"Birdo, get on my back." Yoshi ordered. Birdo did this quickly, still very tired from all of the running. Yoshi then pulled out his tounge and wrapped it around the wing of the plane. He then began reeling himself in.
"That's bulls***! They can't do that!" King Boo screached.
"Hang on, I'm on it." Boo cackled, rushing up to them, and grabbing Birdo. He then began to drag her off of the dinosaur.
"Cheaters!" Shy Guy screamed, throwing his chefs hat in Boo's face, blinding him enough to get punched right in the nose. He was flung back. King Boo then pulled off his crown and attempted to hit Shy Guy with it, only for Goomba to knock it out of the way. It was crushed by the wheel of a plane. This infuriated the king without a crown.
"Quick, get on you two!" Birdo called to the co-workers as the plane began gaining elevation. The two ran for it, and Shy Guy actually grabbed on. However, Goomba had nothing to grab onto, and he lost his balance when landing. Shy Guy attempted to help keep his balance, only for him to fall off as well.
The plane flew off, with Yoshi slowly bringing himself and Birdo to the wing of the plane. The other two teams were stranded.
"That was painful." Shy Guy moaned.
"Man, sorry about that Shy Guy. We nearly had it." Goomba sighed.
"It's ok, we'll catch up. Lets get back inside before the boos get all up in our faces." The co-workers rushed back inside.
Inside, they went to a ticket manager.
"Excuse me, but whens the next flight to India?"
"Not until the morning. 10 AM to be precise."
"9 hours? We have to wait 9 hours? Fine, we'll take it." Goomba sighed. The two took the tickets and went to go sigh some more on the chairs.
"We have a lot to make up this leg. We know we can beat the boos, but we'll still be far behind next leg. It'll be tough, but we'll just have to manage." Shy Guy sighed at the airport.
After much arguing, the boos also got the same flight. When Dalton asked for an interview, King Boo shoved him aside, saying very offensive and racist things to him before leaving.
India, the place of stuff. That's it.
Flight 1: Currently arriving
Yoshi and Birdo: Currently in First
"What is a rickshaw by the way?" Birdo asked. Yoshi didn't answer. A better way to put it actually it that he couldn't answer. His tounge was so sore, so much as opening his mouth would hurt. Instead, Yoshi pointed to what appeared to be a rickshaw. There were people already waiting to drive them to whichever area was needed to be takne too..
"Ganges river please." Birdo smiled, handing the man a quarter before hopping in. The man smiled, took the quarter, and began dragging the two to the river of spiritual success.
Flight 2: Currently arriving
Toad and Toadette, Mario and Luigi, Koopa and Dry Bones, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, Bowser and Bowser Jr.: Currently tied for second
"This is what I'm talking about!" Bowser laughed, seeing just what a rickshaw was. He hopped in. "Move it! To the Ganges River!" He ordered.
"Please go to the Ganges River." Toadette smiled, winking towards the man. Toad noticed this and glanced at her.
Depending on the weight of everybody, teams moved faster than others. Teams like Toad and Toadette and Koopa and Dry Bones moved quickly, while teams like Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong and Bowser and Bowser Jr. moved slower.
The Ganges River. The river of spirituality. Thats it.
Yoshi and Birdo: Currently in First
"There it is. Thank you." Birdo smiled to the man as she got off along with Yoshi. The two went over and read the clue.
"Detour. Spiritual or Food spiritual?"
A detour is two tasks. However, only one needs to be completed.
In Spiritual, teams must learn the proper ways of sending a spirit on the path to enlightenment, using the Ganges River. Once done, teams will recieve their next clue.
Since many people actually live on the banks of the river, Food Spiritual is delivering food from one place to another place. Trust me, I didn't reallly want these detours hard, because later on, they will become hard. Once completed, teams will recieve their next clue.
"Neither sound hard at all, but I'd say do the spirit one because you'd probably eat the food." Birdo said. Yoshi shrugged, since he knew that was true.
When arriving at the place, a person was there. There was a candle.
"Please light the candle please." Birdo read this and shrugged and lit the candle. The person turned to them and handed them a script. "Please say the following." He pointed to the reading. Birdo began reading.
Koopa and Dry Bones, Mario and Luigi, Toad and Toadette: Currently tied for second
"What type of detour is this?" Mario asked in confusion.
"Not a very good one." Koopa shrugged. "We're doing the food thing. What about you?"
"We'll do the same thing."
"We'll do the kind thing." Toadette said, seperating the others with Toad.
"Man, Starlow must be getting lazy." Toad said in an afterleg interview. Dalton gave him a high five.
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, Bowser and Bowser Jr.: Currently in Fifth
"What do you want to do?" Diddy Kong asked.
"I don't know. These challenges seem really easy, and we're in the back of the pack." DK responded, unaware that the ghosts and the co-workers were still hours behind. "You want to just use the express pass?"
"That's up to you."
"Yeah, we're using it." DK sighed, pulling out and running to the nearest one. The father and son meanwhile decided to do the food.
Meanwhile, Yoshi and Birdo were setting their candle on a raft out on the river.
"Farewell." Birdo waved as she watched the candle go adrift.
"Thank you." The man from before smiled, handing them the clue. The dinosaurs shook his hand before taking the clue and opening it. At the same time, the monkeys found the two and handed in their express pass.
Yoshi and Birdo: Currently in First
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong: Currently in Second
"Make your way to the Taj Mahal." Birdo read.
Teams must now make their way to the Taj Mahal, which somehow got much closer to the Ganges River. Not like I used any star powers or anything. Teams will find their next clue here.
"Warning, double U-turn ahead." Diddy also read.
This is the second of two double U-turns in this leg. However, this one will not be blind.
"Good call uncle. Lets get back on our rickshaw."
"Come on, we need to beat them." Birdo exclaimed, jumping into their rickshaw that somehow got closer to them as the two made haste to the Taj Mahal.
(Because the author is lazy, this is the order of completion of the detour)
Toad and Toadette: Currently in Third
Bowser and Bowser Jr.: Currently in Fourth
Mario and Luigi: Currently in Fifth
Koopa and Dry Bones: Currently in Sixth
(Bowser managed to pass the alliance due to pushing)
The Taj Mahal was nice to look at. And it was a maze on the inside.
"Hurry!" DK screamed. They didn't want to be U-turned. Of course, neither did the dinosaurs, but Yoshi missed his line.
The place was massive. It could be anywhere, and all they could do was hope they got their first.
In the end...
...
...
...
Yoshi missed his line again as he stepped on the mat with Birdo with DK and Diddy shortly behind.
"Please don't U-turn us. Not again." DK pleaded.
"That was never the plan. We choose to U-turn King Boo and Boo, the snakes." Birdo grinned, putting a picture of them on the board.
"But they're ghosts."
"You get the point, ok." Birdo grabbed the clue. Yoshi missed his line which was to read the clue.
"We choose not to U-turn anybody." DK said, taking the clue and ripping it open. "Make your way to a 24 hour laundry matt."
Because they already went to a river and mountains are boring, teams will head to this laundry matt which was nice enough to put a logo of me on the front. Because of that, 2 more customers than before have been paying money. It is here, that teams wil find their next clue.
"Let's go."
"This place is huge!" Luigi said, very intimidated.
"You're telling me." Toad gawked, looking around.
"Focus you guys, if Bowser gets to the U-turn mat, we're screwed." Dry Bones told them.
"I thought they used their card though." Mario pondered.
"That doesn't mean if they get there first, we can't u-turn them." Toadette spoke up.
"Right, right. Where is it though?"
"That's what we're trying to figure out." Koopa looked around, before noticing a race flag. He smacked his forehead. "This way."
But they were too late.
"Who shall we U-turn." Bowser smirked, walking up to the mat.
"U-turn the meanie Mario! Or get rid of those stupid mushrooms express pass! Or take out the betraying turtles!"
"Those are our only option. And thanks to Yoshi, the dumbass, they can't save themselves."
"That was somewhat of a smart move though. Maybe they were also neck and neck."
"Maybe. I know." Bowser pulled out the card and placed in on the mat. He then pulled out the cousins U-turn card and stamped it on. They then grabbed the clue and left.
As the duo was leaving, they past by the other three teams, who were running to the U-turn mat. They saw that one of them had been U-turned. But who?
...
...
...
"Stupid Bowser!" Dry Bones screamed as he saw that him and his partner were the victims of Bowser.
"Sorry guys. I'm sure you'll catch up though." Luigi smiled.
"Thanks." Koopa grinned before the two left for the river again. The mushrooms and bros grabbed their clues and left.
"If you don't hate Bowser, then you are a communist!" Koopa sternly said towards the camera in a after leg interview.
A laundry mat. Woo.
Yoshi and Birdo: Dating
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong: Uncle/Nephew
"Yeah, that sign doesn't even look like Starlow." Diddy Kong noted, looking at the sign that was mentioned in the clue. The two teams ran in and asked for a clue.
"Here is your clue. Now do something that involves paying money and leave." The man behind the counter spoke, handing them the clue.
"Ok then..." Birdo took the clue and put two nickels on the counter. DK put a banana peel on the counter and walked away.
"Roadblock. Who knows electricity?"
In this roadblock, teams must make their way to this hardware store. Here, one team member must carry a flat screen tv to a designated adress written for them in advance. Once they arrive, they must set up the set for the family to watch. Once the person does this, teams will recieve their next clue. If the teams drop the tv, they must return to the hardware store and pick up another one.
"My turn to do something." DK grinned, eating a banana and running to the hardware store.
"You want to do it?" Birdo asked. Yoshi nodded and followed the larger simian.
Bowser and Bowser Jr.: Father and Son
"Do you even know where we're going?" Bowser Jr. asked the rickshaw puller.
"Sorry, but the directions aren't specific enough. I can't help you."
"Why are we the ones that get the people who are horrible with directions?" Bowser groaned in a after leg interview.
"Look, follow those two?" Bowser pointed to two certain rickshaws. The driver shrugged and followed as fast as he could.
Koopa and Dry Bones: Cousins
"Please light this candle." A priest told the turtles. Dry Bones did as they were told. "Now read this passage."
"To perform in such a ritual was amazing. I really enjoyed myself, and it was just a great expirience that I'll remember for as long as I live, maybe even longer." Koopa smiled in a after leg interview.
The two had finished reading the passage while the interview was going on, and they went outside, to set the spirit free into the Ganges River.
"It makes you think. What happens after death? What is enlightenment truly? These are questions we may never figure out. But its something we strive to learn for." Dry Bones looked up to the sky, thinking about this in a after leg interview.
The two took their leave after a minute of watching.
Mario and Luigi, Toad and Toadette, Bowser and Bowser Jr.: Currently tied for third
"Go be useful Luigi!" Mario cheered, pushing him in the direction of the hardware store.
"I can do this." Toad smiled, taking off.
"This is so my challenge!" Bowser roared.
"Hey papa, our names are on this!" Bowser Jr. cried, pointing to a sign. Above a picture of their names, the sign read 'Speed Bump'.
"Oh for the love of god!"
Having been spared from elimination in the previous leg, Bowser and Bowser Jr. must now under-go a extra task called a Speed Bump. In this extra task, Bowser and Bowser Jr. must successfully fold a stack of clothing to the liking of the manager. When they complete this, they may resume with the race, in hopes of catching up.
"Folding can't be too bad. I mean, I do it all the time."
"No you don't."
"Shut up son. The folks at home don't need to know that."
Koopa and Dry Bones: Cousins
"Make a left here, not a right." Koopa pointed. The two were back in the Taj Mahal and were trying to remember which way it was to get back to the U-turn mat.
"There it is." Dry Bones sighed, relieved to find it after listening to Koopa's directions.
"Make your way to the 24 hour laundry mat." They read before attempting to get back.
"Welcome to the hardware store, may I help you?" A man asked. He seemed familiar.
"Uh, we're part of the Amazing Race. We need a tv, pronto." Luigi answered.
"Do we know you?" Toad asked.
"You should. It's me, Peaty Phirana! Here to help you out. So, flat screen. You mean like those other racers who came in? Sure!" Peaty handed them two tv's. "Just don't break them."
"Wasn't even planned." Toad smiled picking up the tv and quickly regretting what he just said.
"Carrying the tv just plain sucked. Turns out I had to carry that thing 3 city blocks to get to the house alone. And it was heavy. You see these arms? They aren't arms for carrying heavy objects long distances, ya hear?" Toad groaned in an after leg interview.
"Do you have any lighter brands of televisions?" Luigi asked.
"No. This is the one you wanted, so its the one you get."
"Ugh."
The two slowly walked outside, only to end up dropping their tvs on the ground, the glass shattering.
"This is going to be hell."
Donkey Kong
"Here's the place." Donkey Kong noted, looking at the address, then at the paper of the address which was on his spare hand. Oh yeah, did I mention Donkey Kong was using one hand to carry the television. The simian went over to the front door and knocked.
"Hey Jim! There's a monkey outside our house with a tv!" A voice inside the house was heard.
"The f***? Get me my shotgun!"
"Maybe I should leave." Donkey Kong slowly turned around, only to be pushed back by Dalton.
The door swung open, and Dalton quickly handed the family a contract and 1000 bucks.
Yoshi
"Don't ring the doorbell!" Dalton screamed as Yoshi stepped up to the front door. "Ok, now you can."
Bowser and Bowser Jr.: Father and Son
"Ok, so that's how you do it." Bowser noted, looking at an employee giving an example.
"Folding clothes is hard! I don't naturally do it, so throwing that at me was just annoying." Bowser grumbled in an after leg interview.
"I think I get it." The son of Bowser spoke. He did appear to be getting it, and he was doing a good job at it as well.
"Uh, then how about you do all the work, while I pretend to find football tickets, but you don't know I'm just faking it so that I don't have to do the work."
"Ok then!"
Koopa and Dry Bones: Currently in Fifth
"This looks like something that I can accomplish." Dry Bones nodded, not even taking consideration from Koopa. He rushed to the hardware store.
Toad
"Here's the place." Toad sighed. Unfortunately, at the last possible moment, he dropped the tv.
"For the love of god."
Luigi
"Please help me Mario." Luigi begged.
"Sorry, can't help you." Mario smiled, enjoying that he could finally take a break. Being number 1 can be real hard sometimes.
Dry Bones
"Meh, this is nothing." Dry Bones grinned, moving quickly throughout the neighborhood, looking for the correct address. Of course, he was just saying that so that nobody would notice that this was very tough to carry.
Bowser Jr.
"Done!" Jr. cheered. He was done. But Bowser was nowhere in sight.
"Papa?"
"Over here son." Bowser called. He had already taken matters into his own hands, and had already started the roadblock. He was not in the mood to lose.
Yoshi
"Have you ever done this before?" One of the people living in the house asked. Yoshi shook his head.
Of course, that didn't seem like the case, as Yoshi was making quick and easy progress. It was quite amazing how well he was doing. Pretty soon, he was done.
"Thank you. Now we can watch you either win or lose this race." The person thanked, handing over a clue. Yoshi shook his hand and left.
"Very quiet guy. Although its not like animals can speak or anything"
Donkey Kong
"Ok, what can you do?" The guy named Jim asked.
Donkey Kong replied by slamming his fist down on the tv. It actually started up.
"Hey, you're a logic breaker. I like that, so here's your next clue or whatever." Jim handed DK the clue.
"Thank you." Donkey Kong thanked before leaving. This shocked the random man.
"Did he just speak?"
Luigi
"Thank god!" Luigi shouted in relief, reaching the house. He walked in without knocking and placed the tv down.
Everybody in the house was sleeping, so Luigi quickly got to work so nobody would sneak up on him from behind.
Bowser
"Make way, I've got a tv to set up!" Bowser roared, busting the door down and placing the tv down on the floor.
Nearly everybody in the room either ran or had a heart attack.
Dry Bones
"I'm not really sure what to say." The owner of the house said, looking at the skeletal turtle.
"Do you want the tv or not?"
"Come on in."
Toad
Toad was the only one who was not having much luck with this task. No matter how hard he tried, he just kept failing.
"Your gonna get rid of all of our merchandise, you know." Peaty said to Toad.
"Just shut up." Toad groaned.
"You can do it Toad." Toadette encouraged.
"Come on Yoshi!" Birdo cheered. Everyone turned to see Yoshi running with the clue in his hands.
Suddenly, Donkey Kong appeared from around the corner and began running on all four legs faster than Yoshi.
"Yay! We can do it uncle!" Diddy Kong cheered.
Both pretty much arrived at the same time. They opened the clue.
"Make your way to the next pit stop, the final resting place of the most famous civil rights leader in India." DK read.
Teams must now figure out that they must locate the graveyard that Mohandas Ghandi's body lays. They must take the car provided for them, and the last team to arrive, may be eliminated.
"What's a civil righs leader?" Diddy asked.
"A person who works for equality of something that is not already given to everybody, but a general group of people." Mario answered, because he's obviously the only one who would know.
"Well, do you know the person and the grave yard?" Birdo asked.
"Might as well say it, since Bowser will be eliminated anyway. Mohandas Ghandi. Look it up in a wi-fi place."
Birdo smiled, but knew that Bowser was probably not going to be eliminated. "Thank you." She thanked.
"Come on, I think I saw a book on the location." DK said, rushing to the drivers seat of a nearby car. Diddy followed suite.
"No time to look it up I guess." Birdo shrugged, grabbing Yoshi and dragging him to the car. The four left, a race for first ensued.
Meanwhile, Toad dropped his tv again.
Luigi
"Done." Luigi smiled. His work was complete, the tv was on.
"Santa?" A voice was heard behind him. Luigi turned around to see a little kid smiling with hope in his eyes.
"Yes, its me. Since its not Christmas, I like to disguise myself as the opposite of red, white beard, and fat by wearing green with a thinner mustache and being very skinny. I help people out as much as possible, even when no one knows its me. Enjoy your early present." Luigi smiled before walking out.
"Wait! Can you look at my Christmas list?" The boy asked.
"Uh, sure."
"Great. Just let me go get it." The boy ran up the stairs. Luigi took this time to run away.
Mario and Luigi: Currently in Third
"Nice work!" Mario cheered as he sighed in relief. They actually didn't drop down multiple placements.
"We need to find some dead guys resting place." Luigi read.
"I know where. Come on!"
Within time...
Koopa and Dry Bones: Currently in Fourth
"Wait, so even though we release spirits into the river, their bodys still get buried? What type of thing is that?" Dry Bones asked to nobody in general.
"Come on, Mario gave me a map of the path to go, we can make it." Koopa showed, rushing to the car.
The deathbed of a dead guy who inspired millions of people world wide. Nice.
A car race was being pursued for this spot, which slowly dwindled down to a foot race, which led to one ultimate winner.
"Welcome to India." A man welcomed.
"Thank you." The others replied.
"Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, you are team number 1! And Yoshi and Birdo, that makes you team number 2!"
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong: First; 3:58
Yoshi and Birdo: Second; 3:59
"Yeah!" The monkeys cheered, before dancing some sort of monkey ritual dance.
"Nice job you two. You clearly deserved that, unlike some others." Birdo congratulated.
"And also, for winning this leg of the race, you two have won a vacation trip, and you are going to Las Vegas. Filled with all the gambling you could imagine."
"Gambling? Bananas? Yes!" The two said that at the exact same time.
Bowser and Bowser Jr.: Currently in Fifth
"Let's get outta here!" Bowser roared, ripping open the clue and reading its contents. "Well how are we supposed to know that?"
"Daddy, Mario stupidly said it. I even took a picture of the map he gave the betraying turtles!" Bowser Jr. handed his father a portable camera.
"Perfect. Lets move."
"You're doing great Toad." Toadette continued to encourage.
"I'm not giving this up. Never." Toad said in an after leg interview
"Mario and Luigi, you're team number 3!"
Mario and Luigi: Third; 4:07
"Nice! Our best placement thus far!" The bros bro hugged each other.
Toad and Toadette: Dating
"Either my hands are getting sweaty or Peaty's putting butter all over this tv, I'm making even worse progress." Toad sighed.
Bowser and Bowser Jr.: Father and Son
"Yeah! Just got to keep moving faster and faster. We're bound to catch the turtles eventually!" Bowser roared.
"Daddy, there's something with flashing lights behind us." Bowser Jr. cried.
"Oh come on! They have police here too!?" Bowser grumbled before pulling over. An officer stepped out.
"Sir, do you know how fast you were going?"
"Fast enough to get to the finish line, so if you excuse us, we'd like to move on."
"Sir, I'll be right back." The officer walked back to his car to grab something.
"Screw this." Bowser grumbled, speeding up his car and driving off.
"Hey, HEY!" The officer rushed back inside his car. "I need backup, we have a runaway car. Follow my location and meet me up. Set up a roadblock ahead." The officer spoke into the box thing. He then began driving after the car.
Toad and Toadette: Dating
"Can you please just finish already?" Peaty sighed.
"Shut up, will ya?" Toad glared, taking another tv.
Bowser and Bowser Jr.: Father and Son
"Papa, there's more of them!" Bowser Jr. wailed.
"Not for long." Bowser smiled, making a quick left turn. The police cars pretty much just missed the turn completely and had to turn back to get on the same direction.
Toad and Toadette
"OWWWWW!" Toad screamed, dropping the tv right onto his foot. Glass shards struck him all over his leg as the poor mushroom collapsed. Toadette rushed over.
"Toad, are you alright? What just happened?"
"This doesn't look good. We need to look at my foot, see what condition it's in. Can I ask you to take my shoe off for me?"
"Oh dear." Toadette looked disgusted for a moment before doing so.
"I was a med school student one time, and by the look of it, this looked bad." Toadette said in an after leg interview
Bowser and Bowser Jr.
"Crap." Bowser sweared, looking to see a blockade directly in front of them. There was no way around it.
"Hang on to something son." Bowser ordered as he picked up even more speed to crash straight through the blockade.
"This definetely looked bad." Bowser said in an after leg interview
"Koopa and Dry Bones, you're team number 4!"
Koopa and Dry Bones: Fourth; 4:14
"At least we're top half."
"Yeah, for being U-turned, we really pulled it out well."
Toad and Toadette
"Oh dear." Toadette cringed, looking at Toad's swollen and bleeding foot. "We might need to get you to a hospital."
"No, I can keep going. I'm fine." Toad panted, attempting to get up, only to scream and fall back down.
Bowser and Bowser Jr.
Unfortunately for the father and son, the car was stopped because hitting a bunch of cars and still be moving can only happen in movies. The car holding the duo was surrounding, with cops aiming their guns at the two.
"Move and we shoot. So don't make any sudden movement." A cop with a megaphone spoke.
Toad and Toadette
"Come on, we're getting you to a hospital." Toadette put Toad's arm around her shoulders and began carrying him to a nearby hospital. Which wasn't actually nearby, but they had to get there. There was no other option.
Bowser and Bowser Jr.
"Sir, you are under arrest. Step out of the car and put your hands behind your back now." An officer spoke. Bowser eyed him.
"No."
"What did you just say."
Then Bowser did the stupidest thing ever by lunging at the cop. Almost instantly, one cop pulled the trigger on their gun.
To be continued...
Done! This was actually a scheduled break, not one of the times where I just get lazy and stop.
And so, will the mushrooms and father and son recover from whats happening. This would seem like the perfect opportunity for the boos and co-workers to find their miracle and both stay and catch up with everyone. Next chapter will have the remainder of this leg and the following leg, at least I hope.
This is just the second of three parts towards the trilogy, so expect one more update sometime during the day. Until then, stay solid and peace.
