Doesn't follow the show's story line, so no Doomsday! Jack is with them; also they have met Martha and Donna and they will be around. Gallifrey still exists and the Doctor is not the last of his kind. The Master is actually good, shocking, yes, I know.

I don't own anything! Everything belongs to BBC!

Anything in Italics is thoughts, unless if it's the first line of the chapter.

Rose had started her training and treatment to bring her mind and body up to speed with the Time Lord essence. Martha and Jack had been able to join Rose while the rest were denied to be near while they were working on and with Rose.

"I can't believe that they won't let me near Rose. I'm her mother." Jackie told Donna as they were exploring part of Gallifrey.

"I'm sure everything will be fine, regardless, Jackie. The Doctor would have not brought her here if he knew they would not be able to help. Now, let's enjoy this beautiful place."

"You are right, Donna. By the way, here is Mickey?"

"Chasing the girls probably."

They had brought Rose, along with Jack and Martha, to the Untempered Schism, to go through just like everyone else. They had expected a reaction from her, but due to her looking into the heart of the TARDIS, she had no reaction at all. It had done nothing to her. They had written everything that had happened since this was the first time this had ever happened. The King and Queen would need to hear about this soon. They would need to go about it a different way to help her.

Just as they were about to leave the Untempered Schism, Rose had started to shake, little by little. No one noticed, but Jack had seen the difference in his friend.

"Rose? Are you ok?"

"Jack, please help." Rose pleaded with the American before collapsing.

"ROSE!" Jack and Martha ran to her. Unfortunately both of them hadn't been able to be fast enough to catch the falling woman.

"Martha, is she alright?" Jack asked the female doctor as they checked over her quickly.

"I don't know, Jack. I have no idea what is going on."

"Please, let us take her to the infirmary. We will be able to run a few test on her and be able to figure out exactly what is wrong with her."

Both Earthlings looked at each other and stepped away from their friend to let the Gallifreyan physicians take care of their princess. The staff quickly moved about to Rose and had her moved to the Royal Palace medical facilities.

"We need to go find Jackie." Martha told Jack, who suddenly became pale at the fright of telling Jackie and the Doctor.

"How about you go to Jackie and I will go let the Doctor know what happen. I think the Doctor will be worst than Jackie."

"You can deal with him, Jack. You are right, I rather deal with Jackie than him." Martha told Jack as she set out to find Jackie.

Jack, standing alone at the Schism, shuddered at the thought of the Doctor becoming the Oncoming Storm. "Time to face the music."

"Jackie! Jackie!" Martha yelled as she saw Jackie walking around with Donna.

"Martha? What is wrong?" Jackie asked the panting woman.

"Rose. They brought her to the Untempered Schism and everything didn't go according to plan. She was brought to the same medical facility as yesterday."

"What?"

"You need to come to the hospital." Martha told the two woman as she grabbed their hands, pulling their to their destination.

Jack slowly made their way towards the Doctor's cell. This was one meeting that he was not looking forward to. The man could easily become the Oncoming Storm and that is the last thing the American wanted to see at the moment.

"Doctor."

"What is going on, Jack?" The Doctor stood up very fast at the tone of Jack's voice.

"Sit down, Doc." Jack told the man as he sat down in front of him, with the bars still separating both men. "Martha and I were there, but they brought Rose to the Untempered Schism. They thought that it would boost up the speed of Rose changing, but nothing happen. Nothing at all. They were all surprised. They have no idea what is going on."

"Where is Rose?"

"They brought her to the 'hospital' at the Royal Palace, hoping to find what happened."

"Well, that is good. What they don't know is that she looked into the heart of the TARDIS a while back. I think that is what started it so the Untempered Schism won't do anything right now. At least, I think. I'm sure the medical staff will be able to figure out something."

"Are you okay thought?"

"I will be fine, Jack. Just keep letting me know what is going with Rose, please."

"I will, Doctor. I will be back later on tonight and every day after."

"Thanks, Jack." Doctor told the man, watching him leave the room.

As soon as the Doctor was alone, he turned around and leaned against the wall. He stayed in that position for the longest time. The only movement you could see were shoulders shaking. Two very small tear pools gathered between his feet.

Jack met up with Martha, Jackie, Donna, and Mickey as they looked through the viewing window. He saw they were all on edge.

"How is it going?"

"They are still working on her, but they still haven't told us anything yet. We are still waiting." Martha told him, very professionally.

They all sat patient waiting for the staff to come out. It had been there waiting for two hours since Jack had arrived from his visit with the Doctor.

Before they knew it, the doors finally opened and they came out. The main physician stopped in front of the group and while the rest wheeled a sleeping Rose to a medical room.

"We had brought her to the Untempered Schism today. It should have started her process of being a Time Lord, but it did nothing. It sent her body into some sort of shock. Unfortunately, we were not able to figure what caused it."

"Will she get better?" Jackie asked in a panic.

"Yes, after a while, she stabilized extremely quickly and everything is normal with her. Right now, she is sleeping. We will keep her here overnight and in the morning, if she feels up to it, we will release her."

"Can we see her?"

"Yes, just be quiet. She is sleeping after all."

"Thank you." Jackie told the physician.

They were showed where Rose was currently sleeping. She looked peaceful, like today hadn't happened whatsoever.

"I can stay with her tonight." Mickey offered.

"That would be great, Mickey, thank you. We will see you tomorrow. Sleep well." Jackie told her daughter's best friend.

Mickey had been sleeping beside Rose's bed, resting his head on the bed, facing Rose. That is how he woke up and surprised to see Rose awake and smiling.

"Rose." Mickey exclaimed as he sat up. "How are you feeling?

"I feel okay, Mickey. What happened?"

"Let me get a doctor for you, first." Mickey left the room and returned quickly with one of the Royal physician with him.

"Ah, Princess, I am glad that you are awake. How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling better, thank you. What happened yesterday?"

"You were taken to the Untempered Schism. We had unexpected results. You were suppose to start developing, but instead you had a different reaction. You started convulsion. Unfortunately, we were not able to figure why it happened."

"Am I going to die?"

"No, of course not, you are just fine. We kept you here just to make sure everything was okay. We are going to bring you breakfast very shortly and once you are down, we will move you back to your room." The physician wrote notes in her charts. "We will start the treatments again tomorrow but we will go very slowly."

"Hey Doc."

"Jack. Do you have any information on Rose?"

"They stabilized her last night and she is fine right now. They are giving her the day off today and starting the treatments again tomorrow, but very slowly."

The Doctor stayed quiet for a bit after hearing what Jack had to say about Rose. They decision to go slow made a lot of sense but if they went to slow, it would throw a small wrench in his plan. One that he did not want happening, but as long as Rose was okay and recovering, that is all that mattered to him.

"Is she okay, though, just generally?"

"Ya, she woke up this morning, like nothing had happened. As I was coming down here to see you, they were moving her back to her own room. Mickey and the girls are with her right now."

"That's great to here. I will see you tomorrow, then?"

"You know it. See you, Doc." Jack told the imprisoned man as he walked out.

Rose had spent the rest of the day in her room with her mother and friends. She had had a lot of visitors, including the biological parents and sister. Starr had been excited to finally be able to meet her long lost sister. She had sat by Rose's bed for a few hours asking every and all questions that a little girl could think of. The adults had a good laugh at the little girl's questions.

Jack had returned to the room while Starr had been asking questions. As soon as she had seen him, she had started him and how cute he looked. It didn't matter what kind of attention Jack was receiving, once he was getting it, he was enjoying it all. The TARDIS group had all rolled their eyes at Jack as soon as he smiled at Starr.

"Don't start, Jack. She is too young." Rose grumbled at him as soon as she saw the smile.

"Oh, come on, Rose, it's just harmless fun."

"Well, we have been here long enough regardless. We will let you rest for now and see you in a bit." The Queen told everyone. "Now come along, Starr."

Rose had slept well that night in her new bed. Jack had decided to stay with her. Knowing that Jack wouldn't do anything to her, he had crawled in beside her. He had been looking over her, as she slept, and had overly surprised when he heard her whisper.

"Jack?"

"Ya, Princess?"

"Have you seen the Doctor since we got here?"

"Ya, a few times actually."

"Is he okay? Is he being treated okay?"

"Ya, he is being taken care of in the prison. Now, go to sleep, they are starting your treatments again tomorrow."

"Will you be there with me tomorrow?"

"Always, Rose. I will always be there if you want me."

"Good. You better be there. Good night Jack."

"Night Rose."

The next day, the physicians, along with the King and Queen, had been with Rose and Jack when they had restarted the treatments. They had decided not to go to the Untempered Schism again. They would hold it off for a while until they had a better idea of what had happened the first time. The treatments were being down in the medical facilities, just in case anything happen.

They were in lucky since the second day of treatments had gone so much better for everyone. Jack had been sitting on the edge of his seat throughout the whole thing. After everything that had happened the day before, the last thing Jack wanted to do was see his friend drop to the ground and had to give the bad news to the Doctor again.

"Okay, Princess, that is it for today." The physician had told the group as soon as they were done. Those words had been relieved for Jack.

"Thank you." Rose had thanked the physician

Well, I hope you like it. I am sorry it took so long. The next chapter should be up soon and better, much better.
