Doesn't follow the show's story line, so no Doomsday! Jack is with them; also they have met Martha and Donna and they will be around. Gallifrey still exists and the Doctor is not the last of his kind. The Master is actually good, shocking, yes, I know.

SOOO sorry for the extremely long wait! I've been super busy creating a Queen of Blade (SC2) costume. Been working on it since early February and it needs to be done by the middle of August. Again, so sorry! Because of the wait, here is the final chapter!

I don't own anything! Everything belongs to BBC!

"Ya, I'm okay. I just...I just didn't think they would expect everything of me, especially to rule Gallifrey. I just wanted to be better and keep travelling different worlds. You know, always running and getting into trouble."

"You and I will still do that. We will do anything you want, Rose. Nothing is going to stop us."

"You promise, Doctor?"

"Yes, Rose, I promise you." The Doctor told her as he pulled her in his lap and kissed her. "Anything you want, it is yours. Now, how about we go back to the castle and explain to the Queen what is going on."

"Okay, but what about the King?"

"Well, the last time I saw him, he was standing in the hall, just outside this room, waiting for us."

"DOCTOR! We have to go, we can't keep the King waiting there."

"Yes, we can, but you are right, let's go back."

The two Time Lords left the room and along with the King and physician, they went back to the castle. It had been one of the most awkward trip anyone had ever seen. Once they had reached the castle, the King left the group, without a word, and walked to his office to go over what he had just heard in the TARDIS. He was about to lose his daughter again and that was the last thing he wanted.

"You know you can't stop her from leaving if she wishes to travel." The Queen had told her husband as they walked through the castle.

"But she is the heir to the Throne, she is needed here."

"She may be our eldest daughter, but we still have another daughter who has been on Gallifrey since her birth, and with guidance, could rule without a problem. Rose may be the heir, but she still has her own life that she has been enjoying."

"But, but...I want her to stay. We lost her when she was just a babe and now that she has returned, I don't want her to go."

"And if you try to stop, it will make her leave. Permanently. She seems reasonable, I'm sure if we speak with her, we can come to some sort of arrangement."

"Do you think she would agree to an arrangement, my Dear?"

"Yes, Husband, she is rational. Now calm down and let's go talk to her." The Queen grabbed her husband's hand and led him towards Rose's room.

Jackie had been relaxing with the girls in Rose's sitting room. Rose had just finished telling them everything that had happened this morning, from the Untempered Schism to the TARDIS.

They had been talking for a bit, when they heard a knock on the main door. Jackie, being the closest to the door, got up and answered the room. She was a bit shocked to see the King and Queen at the door. They were the last people she was expecting to see.

"Your Majesties, how can we help you?"

"Ah, Miss Tyler, we would like to speak with Rose, if possible."

"Of course, come in." Jackie led both adult into the sitting room, to Rose. "Rose, Dear, the King and Queen wish to speak with you."

Rose was a bit shocked to see that they had come to her directly instead the other a way around. She lead them to her bedroom, once the shock had worn off. The King was passing the bedroom floor, while the Queen sat down on the bed.

"You wished to speak to me." Rose stated once they were all in the room.

"Yes, we did." The Queen replied to the Princess. "Since you arrived, we have been so happy that you are here with us. We had originally thought that you would have stayed with us and make a permanent home on Gallifrey."

"The only reason we came to Gallifrey was to get me better. When we first came here, I thought that I was going to get better and we would return back to Earth. Afterwards, the Doctor and I were going to travel again. That was always my plan."

"Yes, the King was made aware of this when he overheard your conversation with the Doctor. I have to say that we were a bit shocked to learn that, but we understand that you have your own life to live as well. We would like to make a proposition with you."

"A proposition?" Rose asked the Queen. This is not what she had been expecting at all.

"Yes, we won't keep you here against your will, but we would like for you to visit us once in a while. We know that you have a busy life but we don't want you to forget us."

"No, I want a visit a least once a year. I will not take less than that. I want to be able to see my daughter." The King told both girls.

"To be honest, I think we can work with that, but what about the Doctor. He told me the only reason he came back was because of me. If we were to return, would he be treated the same way as he was when we arrived here? Will he be arrested again?"

"No. Next time you come to visit, he will be greeted with honour." The King told Rose as he sat down beside his wife.

"We have ourselves a deal, then." Rose told the two of them. "We will visit once a year, but I don't want to rule."

"That is fine, my Dear. Starr has started her political training and we think she will make a fine Queen."

"I agree with my wife, but I would like to present you to the kingdom soon." The King advised her.

"That is fine. May I have your leave and tell the news to everyone?"

"Before you leave, Princess, I would like to introduce you to Gallifrey regardless. You can tell them that you will not accept the throne and leave it for your sister."

"Can it be soon?"

"Yes, Princess, we can have it in two days time! Now, go ahead and have fun."

Rose had went directly to her mother to tell her the news about the upcoming ball. They had been excited at the fact of dressing up.

"Why don't you go tell the rest of the group and us girls will start planning on hair and dresses." Jackie had told her daughter as she got their room ready.

Rose had left with a smile on her face. She couldn't wait for this 'party' to be over since afterwards, she could leave with the Doctor and travel. As she found the group, she grabbed Donna's and Martha's hands, she told the 3 boys exactly what the King and Queen had told her.

The Doctor was ecstatic to see that Rose was happy. After everything that had happen recently, it was great to see things coming around. He knew the girls were already planning their outfit for the ball. The boys would wait until the last possible minute to get ready.

The ball had been announced to the population of Gallifrey just after they had spoken with Rose and came to their arrangement. The preparation had started right away. It had been very tough but they had been able to pull it off. Everything for the ball was ready, including the Great Hall.

The population were excited as well. Ever since Rose's arrival, there had been rumours that the lost Princess had arrived, but nobody had confirmed it. Now, they were hoping, with the Ball, that the rumours would be confirmed or denied.

The day of the ball, Rose and the girls had started getting ready for the ball. The Queen had brought Rose a dress from her personal closet. It was strapless, princess style dress. It was deep red with gold trimming. They had enjoyed getting primed and dolled up.

While the girls were getting ready, the boys had been getting ready in the TARDIS since it had an endless wardrobe. The Doctor had changed out of his suit and into a tux. Jack and Mickey had changed into suits. As usual, they had waited until the last minute to get ready and had been rushing around for the last few minutes.

The Ball's attendee had started to arrive promptly on time. They didn't want to miss a thing. While the Ball was going on, all the major cities were having huge street parties. There was a huge screen which had a direct feed into the Ball, in each cities.

The King, Queen, and Starr were the first to arrive amongst the Royal Family. The TARDIS group minus Rose and the Doctor were already there, enjoying themselves. The Gallifreyan couple were to be introduced later on.

Everything had been going on smoothly and going as plan. During the Ball, they had stopped the music as the King stood up on the throne. This was the moment of truth that the population of Gallifrey had been waiting for; they were about to see their lost Princess.

"It has been an extremely long wait for Gallifrey, but approximately a week ago, something precious was returned to us. Princess Rose has indeed returned home." The entire room went up in a cheer. The rumours were true and confirmed. "Although, she has returned home, she had declined to take the Throne; it will be passed down to Princess Starrr. Now, please help me with her daughter home."

Rose walked out from her "hiding spot" with the Doctor just a few steps behind her as the crowd clapped for her. As she stood there, frozen in a bit of fright at everyone, all she could think about was running away, but her thoughts were halted when she felt a small pressure on the small of her back.

"Everything will be fine, Rose. Just walk over to your parents and I will be nearby. When you are ready to run, take my hand and I will follow you." The Doctor whispered into her right ear. A small smiled appeared on her face.

As soon as she walked over to her parents, everyone and everything calmed down making it bearable for Rose. The focus was on the whole family now, not just her. As she stood next to her parents, there were a few photos taken before the festivities commenced.

During the night, a few young male had requested a dance from Rose. She had accepted a few and declined some as well, but never refused them when it came to Mickey, Jack, and her Doctor. She had danced mostly with the Doctor and to some of the young suitors, there was a slight jealously towards the Doctor, and he had picked up on it.

"You know the Earth saying 'If looks could kill'?"

"Ya, Doctor, I am very familiar with that saying. Why?"

"Well, there are a few young suitors not happy with me occupying most of your time tonight, Princess."

"They are not my date, tonight. You are, Doctor." Rose giggled as she reminded the Doctor of whose date she was.

"Oh, Rose, I am well aware of that, but I am going to kiss you in front of all these people." Before Rose could say anything to the Doctor, he gently lifted her chin with two fingers and kissed her, just like he said, in front of everyone.

"Doctor." Rose whispered after he pulled away from her lips.

"I just had to make sure that they knew you were with me. My date, my best friend, my partner, and my Love."

Rose smiled at his words before wrapping her arms around him even more and leaning her head against his chest. "Yes, my date, my best friend, my partner, and my Love." Rose repeated the Doctor's words.

The rest of the evening had gone without a problem to show for it. After the Doctor's little public display of affection, the male suitors kept their distance away from Rose, especially after they realized which man she was indeed with. They had heard all the stories regarding the Doctor and were a bit of afraid to deal with the Oncoming Storm.

As the night grew, Rose got tired, to the point where she just wanted to go to bed, but at the same time, didn't want to leave. It would be rude, especially since the King and Queen had gone through all this trouble for her.

Before she realized what was going on, she woke up in the arms of the Doctor as he carried her, bridal style, towards her room.

"What is going on?" Rose asked him once she had her bearings straight.

"You fell asleep in your chair so I am bringing you to bed." Rose blushed a deep red once she heard that she had fallen asleep.

"Thank you, Doctor."

"My pleasure, Princess." The Doctor whispered to her as he felt her head snuggled into his neck area.

It didn't take long for him to get to her bedroom. As he placed her on the bed, she gently grabbed his hand.

"Don't go. Please stay with me, Doctor."

"Of course, but why don't you go change into pyjamas. While you do that, I will go change as well. I will be back before you know it."

When the Doctor got back to the room, he was surprised to see that Rose was already in bed, sleeping. Being as quiet as he could, he slipped in beside Rose.

"Doctor?"

"Yes, Rose, it's me. Now go back to sleep. I will be here when you wake up."

The next morning, Rose had woken up in her bed with the Doctor's arms wrapped around her waist. This was the day they were going back to Earth and continuing with their adventure. As long as they were together, they didn't care where they landed. It was their journey to take, side by side, holding hands while running.

THE END!
