This is a really intense chapter so, I suggest you put attention, get in the story, and of course, that you like it… So let´s get started

-What are you so afraid of love?- Asked Damon as I got closer to him.
-The dawn, it started- I said as I stared at the window behind him and looked at him at the eyes. He was shirtless and looking at me with his enclosed eyes. He was still half asleep.
-The only thing that really matters to me is lying next to me, safe and complete. He can screw the world- He said as he stared at my eyes with devotion and a little twisted smile.
I took a deep breath –But we can be that selfish Damon. There are innocent people, our friends, their families…- I said as I sat in the bed and looked at my hands.
He closed his eyes just a second and frowned, and then he looked at me. I knew know that that was the typical worried Damon expression –It´s not only their families Kira. You have all of us. You have me! Don´t think you are exclude- He sat beside me and caressed my cheek with the back of his hand –And we´ll be ready for whatever he has in mind-.
-How can you be so confident?- I asked with a frown and so worried about what Klaus could do.
He smiled and then got more serious –I am not. Actually I am just panicked right now. I have much more to lose now- He smiled at me and pulled me towards him –But I promise I will make him go away from our lives, and whatever he does, I will stop him-.
-You can´t protect everyone love- I said as I took his face in my hands.
He gave me a huge smile – You call me love- He whispered in my ear.
I laughed –Damon I am being serious. There´s just so much you can bare- I said looking him directly to the eyes.
He frowned and looked down –I have to, because I care about my family- He gave me a small smile –And that includes you-.
-And Stephan? And our friends?- I asked him with hope shinning in my eyes.
-Okay, someone waked up a little bit pushy- He kissed me chastely in the lips, and I knew that was the closest thing I was going to get from an answer –Clam down and let me take care of things-.
His soft voice relaxed me –Now, let´s get some food for you young lady, and after that… I have a special request, rather a special command- He said as he got to his feet and carried me out of bed as if I was made of air –Because I am not getting a no for an answer-.
-Command? I don´t know what it is, but I don´t like the word. It makes me said no before even hearing what it is about- Damon laughed and gave me a sweet kiss- That is why I love you- He made me follow him.
We made our way and went to the kitchen. Now that was a surprise, everyone was there wearing pyama and all sleepy. Alaric was making coffee and his light brown hair was all messy, Tyler was sat in the table asleep with his arms as pillow. Caroline was getting blood out of the fridge and putting it into nice coffee cups. Bonnie was making some scramble eggs and laughing about something Rose was saying about the orange juice she was helping her make.
-I think I have entered the twilight zone- Damon was looking at all of them as if they were some kind of puzzle.
-Well good morning to you too- said Alaric with a smile and handing us a cup of coffee. Damon took it and gave it to me.
-You know you didn´t have decent resources for a good breakfast?- Said Caroline raising her eyebrow and seating beside Tyler as she rubbed his back to wake him up –Bonnie and I went to the closest Wall-Mart and get the necessary for a real breakfast-.
-But the sun is barley up. Why did you waked up so early?- I asked with a smile.
-For the same reason as you I guess- Said Tyler with a serious expression. I nodded and turned my gaze down.
Damon still looked at all of them with a frown and a confused look –Okay, this is so weird, I´ll just pretend is not happening- He said as he sat in the table and shook his head –Get me one of those Blondie- He said pointing at the cup of blood.
-Got it- Said Bonnie as she was closer to the fridge. Damon got really scared now. I just smiled and crossed my arms watching the scene –Okay what´s wrong?- He stood up. As he had thought everyone was going to be out or sleeping he went down stairs shirtless. It was that or the fact that it was Damon and didn´t cared a thing.
So I got to admire his torso as he complained –I almost bought the Betty Crocker thing…- He said while he pointed Rose making juice and Alaric getting some fruit out of some Wall- Mart bags –But you being nice to me…- He pointed Bonnie and the blood bag she was holding –Just don´t fit-.
Bonnie looked at me and couldn't help but smile –Is just a cup of a blood bag. Is not like I am bringing you a human to feed on Damon- Said Bonnie –And I can always get you in pain when you are being an ass, so, yeah I think it´s a truce- She handed him the cup and raised an eyebrow.
He frowned even more, doubted a minute and then took the cup –Now sit darling before you faint- I whispered to him as I took his free hand and pulled him down.
-What you guys think Klaus will do now?- Said Tyler as he started to eat the plate Rose put in front of him.
-I don´t know but you better bet is anything but shit- Said Rose as she sat in the table too and raised an eyebrow.
Alaric looked at me and made me a sing to follow him –I´ll be back in no time- I said as I left my cup of coffee in the tale and stood up. Damon stared at me but said nothing. He went out and opened the door for me.
-What´s wrong Alaric? - I looked at him confused as I closed my arms around me. It was cold.
-Nothing, on the contrary- He said with a smile and getting his hands inside his pockets –I will ask you if you could give me the great honor of helping you train. You know against vampires-.
I looked at him just as shocked as Damon had been when he entered the kitchen –Well… I mean… yeah I would be so glad- I said with a speechless smile and a confused look.
Alaric smiled and looked at his shoes before looking at me again –I think very high of you Kira. What you have done for Elena, that´s like a daughter to me, and for Damon- He just shook his head and smiled -And I also what you to know that you can rely on us. Just as we all went to New York to get you home. That´s why I want to teach you everything I know, because I care- He said with a smile and a sincere look –You are a very nice girl-.
I looked at him moved and with tears clouding my eyes. I hugged him tight and he laughed but enclosed his arms around me. Just as my father used to do when I was feeling sad –Thank you Alaric. It means so much to me-.
He made me look at him and got the tears away from my cheeks –You have a family now Kira. It does not replace the one you lost, but let people take care of you-.
I smiled and nodded like a little girl.
He smiled back –So now what do you think of a hot plate of scrambled eggs?-.
-Perfect- I said with a huge smile and following him inside.
Damon looked at us as we enter the kitchen and bowed his head to Alaric with a twisted smile and gratitude in his eyes. The teacher smiled and turned to take a plate and get me that hot plate he had promise me.
As I sat down Damon took my hand and smiled at me warmly. I laid my head in his shoulder and closed my eyes –Everything is so at peace- I said with a smile.
-You are right-He said frowning –Where´s Katherine?- He asked the others.
-Well glad someone noticed my absence- She said as she took the plate Alaric was going to give me and sat next to Damon.
-Where have you been?- Asked Damon.
-Here and there- She smiled and Damon was just looking at her with repulsion.
-Oh don´t look at me like that sweetie- He said taking a bite from her plate –You don´t have to fake you hate me to please your new girlfriend. At this point she should know that more than 145 years of obsessive love do not go that easy- She said smiling and taking Damon´s cup and drinking it.
Damon clenched his jaw and was about to say something when the exact copy of Katherine entered the kitchen.
-Good morning me- Said Katherine raising her arm in order for Elena to spot her.
Elena just shook her head and made her way to the fridge –Has no one tell her this is not the crazy bitch hostel?- She said. Well Bravo! That was the meanest think I had ever heard her say.
-I was just about to- Said Damon taking his cup from her and drinking it all.
-At least in the hostel we would get paid for stand her- I said as Alaric gave me my new plate of breakfast.
Katherine just raised an eyebrow and continued her breakfast –Where´s Stephan?- Asked Elena as she opened a bottle of water.
Everyone frowned –His not with you?- Bonnie asked confused.
Suddenly she got pale –No… I thought he was down here. He wasn´t there when I woke up- She said with a quivering voice and looking around as if with that she would spot Stephan in the kitchen.
-Oh shit- Said Tyler, expressing the thought of everyone in the room.
Damon stood up and made his way to the room at a vampire speed. I looked at everyone and then followed Damon upstairs.
He was putting on some jeans and a t-shirt –I am going to search for him- He said as he searched for his shoes.
-I´ll go with you- I said as I started to search for my clothes.
-No!- He turned to look at me with his eyes as cold as stone.
-You have to be kidding me if you expect me to sit here and wait. I will go- Damon got closer to me and suddenly I say him closing something in his fist. My vervain bracelet.
-You would not dare- I said opening my eyes furious.
-You will stay in the house until I come back. You will not try to escape and you will be safe- His eyes just erased every need I had to go with him. He would be alright. It was better if I stayed in the house and waited for him.
-I will be safe- I repeated looking at his hypnotizing eyes. He frowned and looked at me with real pain shinning in his blue eyes.
-What´s wrong love?- I asked taking his face in my hands. This seemed to make him feel worst?
-Have I done something wrong?- I asked at him confused –I will stay so as you asked- I said with a smile.
He pulled me towards him and hugged me. He kissed the top of my head –I prefer you to hate me than to lose you- And with that he was gone.
D´s PV
-Bonnie- I called her as everyone was getting ready to go and search for Stephan –I need you to do something.
Bonnie nodded and looked at me concerned.
-I need you to put a spell that protects Kira- Bonnie looked at me confused –I… I compelled her to stay in the house. I need you to put a spell in the door so no one but us can get in. That will keep Klaus from getting her-.
Bonnie seemed to be searching in her head form something that would help us – I can do that, but it will only last until midnight. When someone enters the house I will know it .And only we can get in. I mean all of us and Stephan. - She pointed all the people in the house and looked at me with concern.
-Do it- I said as I put a hand over her shoulder and prepared to search for my brother.
K´s PV
-Dammit!- I said as I went to one side to the other of Damon´s room.
It was dark and they had not yet come back. Why the hell I didn´t go with them?! But it was safe here, that´s everything I knew.
Screw safe! That shouldn't be enough to keep me here, but I couldn't get out the house. It was not even an option.
And what was taking them so long? They could at least call. What if something had happened?
I heard the front door open and felt a huge relieve. At last they were back. I exit Damon's room and turned off the light. I got down stairs and found the front door opened but no one at sight.
-Damon?- I asked as I closed the door and turned to the living room to see if anyone was there. I heard footsteps up stairs and saw a shadow crossing the corridor.
-Elena? Is someone there?- I asked not having a good feeling about this. I searched for my purse that was in a couch next to the fireplace. I got out a stake and made my way upstairs.
The stairs cracked as I made my way up. I got to the hallway and saw no one. But I knew there was someone there. I saw the light in Damon´s room on, when I clearly remembered I had turned it off before getting out.
With my heart beating as fast as a horse and the fear making its path through my chest I made my way towards the lighted room. I reached the frame of the door and closed my eyes as one step kept me from being at the threshold of the door.
I felt panic in me but I took a deep breath. I had to face this. One, two… three! I jumped with the stake in front of me pointing the possible threat.
No one… Just the window opened moving the curtains with the strong wind that was blowing outside. I took a deep breath and turned to make my exit.
Right behind me was a shadow that appeared out of nowhere. I screamed in fear and pulled the stake right to his chest. But the man was faster and took the stake in his hands stopping me with a snappy movement.
When I was face to face with the stranger I almost put my eyes in blank, if it wasn´t because I felt a huge relieve.
-My God Stephan where have you been- I threw the stake away and hugged him tightly –I am so sorry. My God I almost killed you!- I said with horror.
Stephan put his arms around me in slow motion and he took a deep breath, like trying to get my exact scent.
-Kira- He said with a calm voice.
I pulled away from him a little bit and looked at him in the eyes –Where the hell have you been? We have been so worried about you! Damon is out there looking for you-.
Stephan seemed so weird; as if he was trying with all his body not to say something… or rather do something.
But I was too relieved to see him that I didn´t notice –I know you think Damon hates you but he doesn´t- I said as I took him by the shoulders –You have to see that Stephan. If something had happened to you I don´t know what we would do. I mean you mean so much to Elena and you are a true friend to me, and Damon…- I stopped as I saw the eyes of Stephan where getting full of tears.
-Stephan what´s wrong?- I asked as I put one hand at the side of his face concerned.
He seemed to tremble and he seemed to be fighting with all his strength against something –I am so sorry Kira…- He said with quivering voice and tears now running through his cheeks.
I frowned completely confused and scared. I gave a step back –What is it?- I asked with a whisper –Is Damon okay? Did something happen to him?- I asked getting hysterical.
He shook his head with a little smile –He´s fine- He then took me by the hand with too much strength –But you are not-.
I stood there like petrified as he continue to cry but getting closer to me –Klaus… he… compelled me- he started as at a vampire speed he got at my back and hold me still with both arms.
-He brought back the ripper – He whispered at my ear. Suddenly it was starting to make sense.
-No…- I said as I twisted in order to get away from him –Stephan!- I yelled panicked and completely terrified.
-I am so sorry- He said sobbing –He wanted me to drink your blood- He cried even harder –And it´s calling me- He said as he smelled my neck and his eyes turned dark and lethal.
-No! Please Stephan you have to fight him back!- I cried scared, moving and twisting even more.
He shook his head and I felt a tear in my neck –I can´t. Is just… so irresistible- He said against my neck –I promise it will be fast- Suddenly I felt a horrible pain in the neck. I screamed and moved, which made it even worse because I was just hurting myself more.
-NO! Damon!- I cried desperate as no one could hear me. I felt the blood running threw my neck and turned my shirt red; and that horrible sound of blood sucking. He held me with strength and the more he drank the deeper his fangs where on me. Like if my blood obsessed him.
-Stephan…- I whispered as my strength was draining along with my blood. I started to feel so cold. So cold that I then knew I was about to die. I just wanted to see him once more, to tell him again that I loved him, just once… Damon.
A sudden rush of steps reached our ears and Stephan seemed to get more frenetic to get out of me my last drop of blood.
My vision was getting blurry but I saw Bonnie entering the room and stared at us in shock.
-What the hell?- She stared. But when she saw Stephan was not going to stop and I was so close to death she started to mumble something and Stephan suddenly stopped and took his head between his hands and got to his knees in pain.
Bonnie took my hand but I crashed in the floor without any strength.
-Oh my God- She said panicked and close to tears.
-You have to… take out the compulsion- I said with the little strength that was left in me –The spell I gave you-.
She nodded. I too her hand –Tell Damon not to hate him for this- I said with tears, feeling I was going to faint.
-You would tell him yourself- She said with a smile and making the spell. Stephan stood to his feet and looked around him confused. He then looked at Bonnie and then at me.
-Oh fuck!- He bit his wrist and gave me his blood –Kira I am so sorry- He said frowning and taking me in his arms. I didn´t even had strength to shallow it.
-Kira! Shit! You have to drink, please! - He shook me in his arms. I made a huge effort and felt the disgusting taste of blood.
-Thant´s it- he said relieved and breathing heavily.
-What the hell happened?- Asked Bonnie hysterical and making sure I was getting better with the blood.
-I woke in Klaus´ home and he just… told me we had met before, and he compelled me to get the ripper out and…- He looked at me and he hugged me relieved but keeping his wrist against my mouth. I started to feel better but I had lost a lot of blood.
-I´m goanna call Damon- Bonnie got his cellphone out but I stopped her with a quivering hand. I shook my head so Stephan could get away his wrist.
-He can´t know about this- I shook my head frenetically. Bonnie looked at me incuriously and Stephan closed his eyes tormented.
-I have to face what I have done. Kira I almost killed you. If it wasn´t for Bonnie…- He didn´t ended the phrase and he clenched his jaw.
-But I am alive- I said dizzy.
-Barley-Pointed Bonnie angry at Stephan.
-If he knows about this, he will never forgive you. He will not get it wasn´t your fault- I said trying to make them understand –I am alright and you need to get your brother back-.
-Drink first, talk latter- He gave me his wrist again.
Bonnie clearly disapproved but started to clean the mess.
-The smell. He will notice- Said Bonnie.
-Well at least let´s wait a little bit before we tell him- I said as I got fully recovered –Let me change before he gets here and we just tell him Klaus compel you to be the ripper again. Bonnie found you in the woods and she stopped you. About the smell, I´ll clean up the room really well-.
-I´ll do it- Said Bonnie. She hugged me and took me by the hand –You are a good friend to me… if something happens to you…- But I didn´t let her finish –But nothing happened. Thanks to you- I hugged her again and took a deep breath-.
-I just don´t think I could lose somebody else- She said pressing her lips together.
-Kira…- Stephan started when Bonnie went out.
-Give it a rest- I said as it gave me chills to be alone with him again, even if his compulsion was over.
-I am so sorry- He whispered in terrible pain.
-I know it wasn't you- I put a hand over his shoulder –Let´s clean up before Damon returns- I said with a weak smile.
I hated laying to him but I had to. He would never forgive Stephan for this.
I took a shower and when I was done everything was cleaned and in order. As if nothing had happened. I looked at myself in the mirror and my neck was just perfect; as white and soft as always.
I looked at myself in the mirror and all the adrenaline was now gone. I ended up throwing up in the toilet. A post- traumatic effect I guess. I had been so close to death. I couldn't help but start sobbing like a little girl as I cleaned up and washed my teeth.
To feel his fangs against my neck and sucking my blood. I couldn't help but sob as it was happening again.
I heard the front door open and a second latter I saw Damon by my side. He looked at me worried and took me in his arms.
-Kira what happened?- He kissed me desperately and washed away my tears.
-Don´t you ever leave me again- I said as I buried my face in his jacket –I rather die with you than to be left behind- I said as I was hiding the real cause of my hysteria.
He started to breath fast and I saw guilt in his eyes –I am so sorry. Kira, I compelled you to stay inside the house-.
-What? - I asked in disbelieve-I told you I didn´t wanted you to mess with my mind!- I said as I gave a step back.
-Love I am so sorry. I needed you to be safe, I know you hate me for this, but the barely thought of you being in danger, it kills me Kira- Now more than ever I could not tell him what happened. He would feel so guilty to have left me there locked up with a ripper, his brother.
-It doesn´t matter- I said with a smile and hugged him again as I made us sat in the four posts bed.
He frowned but held me close –It doesn´t? What have you made with my Kira?- He smiled but was still confused.
-I am your Kira- I said more emotional than he would understand –And I am really thankful I can be right here, right now with you- I said sobbing again. He was now more confused than ever.
-Love, has something happened while I was gone? - He asked as he took my head in his hands and looked at me straight in the eyes with concern.
I gave him a fake smile and shook my head –Of course not, I am just too emotional that´s all. And mad because you left me here-.
He looked at me with a frown and an icy expression in his face. He blinked –You are lying- He said coldly but with determination.
-Of course I am not!- I said blinking and shaking my head.
-Then why does the room stinks like a fucking hospital?- he said standing up and looking around.
- I have a clean issue. Whenever I get stress I clean like a freak- I said serious and as natural as I could.
He seemed to be soothing his rage… he failed –Bonnie!- He jelled.
Dammit! Why did I have to date such a smart man! He knew me better than I gave him credit for.
-Damon seriously…- he didn´t listened to me and went out of the room made a hurricane of anger and fury.
-Shit!- I followed him downstairs and in my way I saw the clock marked 12:00 o´clock. Midnight exactly…
