Chapter 16: Forgive For Happyness

seven weeks later...

"Annie please stay close you're father are watching," Sierra said to her daughter, Steele nuzzle his mate as she made sure their daughter was safe. Aleu, Balto and Jenna sit up in the boat watching the children play in the sand of the beach. Balto smiled as he watches his great grandchildern play. "Looks like we did again," Aleu said with a small smile. Balto and Jenna looked at each other. "Sweetheart is there something wrong?" Jenna asked as she walked forward to her daughter.

Aleu looked to the ground in sadness. "Was I wrong about him?" Aleu asked. Jenna then looked at Balto. Balto nodded as Jenna smiled and walked out of the boat. "Aleu you weren't wrong about Toklo but now he... he needs you now," Balto explained. Tears started roll down her muzzle. "I would say how can I trust him but he did all this for his real son Toby," Aleu said with a smile.

Balto smiled as Aleu turn to face her father and smiled. "Go get him," Balto said softly. Aleu nodded. "Thank you papa," Aleu said as she nuzzled her father and ran outside. "Life just keeps getting better," Balto said with a chuckle. Sierra and Steele both sit on the beach with their five kids. Ross, Nick, Annie, Kate and Leo. "Kid's Its time to go see you great grandfather," Sierra said as she stood up along with Steele by her side. Balto smiled as Sierra, Steele and their kids walked up the hill to his boat.

(The boiler Room)

Toby Stand's in front of the town with a smile. "In my own words truly this time. I'm the real Toby and to tell the truth I never Knew about my half brother. And for what he did to me and all of you was wrong but he was lost soul that wanted to be found. But when we found that soul he was too far gone. And since that day I learned that even if he was my half brother he still was part of my family and DNA doesn't make family you chose who your family is. I want all of you to know that. And so I hope my speech helps you understand that I'm no different than you and I wish my brother had a chance to life that without his pain..." Toby said as tears started flow down his muzzle.

Doc then noticed this and walked over to the stand and started taking over. "Thank you," Doc said with a smile Toby smiled and nodded as he walked outside. "Hey," Toklo said with a smile Toby turned and saw Toklo walking to him. Toby smile and greeted Toklo. "Hey," Toby said as he nuzzled Toklo. "I was you're speech," Toklo said Toby swallowed hard as he looked away from Toklo. "Whats the matter?" Toklo asked Toby looked up at his real dad. "I.. I... I just miss..." Toby was cut off by Toklo. "You're dad," Toklo answered for him.

Toby was suprised of what Tolko. "I was going to say Hunter but you're my real dad," Toby said as he cocked his head to the right. Toklo chuckled. "It's like you said DNA don't make you family," Toklo said as he rubs the top of Toby's head with his paw. "Thanks dad," Toby said with a smile. Toklo smile as he started to walk west from the Town. "Where will you go?" Toby asked as Toklo stopped walking and looked at his son. "I'm sure yet. But I know wherever I go it will be a restart in my life," Toklo said with a wide smile.

Toby chuckled as Toklo then began to walk west with Jasper waiting for him outside of town. "Toklo wait!" Aleu shouted as she ran up to him. Toklo turned as Aleu ran up to him "Aleu?" Toklo asked. Aleu now finally made it to Toklo. "Where are you going?" Aleu Asked she got closer to him. "Aleu don't stop me here I need to do this," Toklo said sofly. "For what?" Aleu asked taking a step forward. "For my brother," Toklo said as he started to walk away again. Aleu started to think of what to say to stop him from leaving. "I know you love me!" Aleu shouted

Toklo was surpised to hear this. Toklo turned to face Aleu with surprise in his eyes. "How did you know?" Toklo asked as Aleu walked up to him quicky. "I didn't..." Aleu said just as she kissed him. Toby smiled as he watched his mother have her happyness. her first happyness in along time since she had him and Hunter. Toby then walks away from them and headed for home.

(Post office )

Kodi and his team are just about ready to go do their job just as Ralph walked in the post office. Every stopped what they were doing and watched Ralph walk up to Kodi. "Here we go again," Kirby said shaking his head. "Hey Kirby clam down will ya," Sam said smacking in the back of the head. "Kodi I'm sorry so, so, so sorry for everything I did," Ralph said softly looking down from Kodi. Kodi rised one eye brow suprised. Kodi then looked towards his team as they all nodded. "Ralph I thought you would never come back," Kodi said with a smile.

Ralph jump up with happyness and started licking Kodi. "Alright big guy time to get ready were about to head out," Kodi said as Ralph got off of him. "Alright team lets go!" Kodi shouted as they all got into their places in line and started to head out with their musher. Life never felt so good for this family forgivness was what the family needed it was cure for them and nothing else could break that.

three Weeks eariler...

"Ashley baby come back," Max said as he ran after to her. "Get the fuck away from me Max all you want is just sex oh gosh," Ashley said with her hint of a British accent cutting in between her words just as she got in the middle of the road. "Ashley please get out of the road baby," Max said softly Ashley turns around in anger. "I'm you're baby anymore I don't love you like I did," Ashley said as tears start to flow down her muzzle. "Ashley just get out of road we can talk about this," Max said more softly. Ashley looked down and started to walk to Max.

"I..." BAM a car hit's Ashley in her head. "ASHLEY!" Max shouted as he ran to her. "Ashley baby no, no, no baby come back to me please. Ashely!" Max said quickly. Ashley looked towards Max as her vision started to fade away. "Max," Ashley said in a whisper. Max started to cry as his love started to fade away. "Ashely no God no," Max said just as the human who hit him picked her up and ran to the vets office. Max couldn't breath for the moment as he tired to pick him self up off the ground and tired to walk to the vets office. Max then fell into the seeing that Ashley was getting into the vets office. Max then faintec hearing only one word "Max..."
