Among the Captured

This takes place after Among the Free and Mr. Hendricks calls Luke and his friends to a meeting because he worries that with Oscar and Aldous still AWOL, that they may raise an army to fight the new government that was set in place. And he also fears that this army could be too much for them to handle.

7. Chapter 7

In case you haven't noticed, I've decided to extend Among the Captured's story line, so the end of this fan fic won't be coming for a while. That being said, I hope you like this chapter! Enjoy!:

Seven

Nina glared at Jason. "What do you want?" she growled.

Jason spread his arms in an inviting manner. "I just want things to go back to the way it was before. Back when I attended Hendricks and you were at—"

"Those days are long gone," interrupted Nina coldly.

"You replaced me, didn't you?" snapped Jason. "Who did you replace me with?"

"None of your business," snarled Nina.

"It's that Luke kid isn't it?" said Jason. "Well, you might as well forget about him because he's as good as dead. And there's nothing you can do to save him, for I am the only one who has the keys to his prison cell, right here in my jacket."

Nina's eyes widened.

"Oscar and Aldous wanted to kill you too!" continued Jason. "But I begged and pleaded for them not to kill you. And thankfully, they listened. I SAVED YOUR LIFE!"

Nina noticed a coil of rope under the bed that was in the corner. A plan suddenly popped into her head.

"W-where is Luke being held?" stammered Nina.

"He's at the underground prison cells," replied Jason matter-of-factly.

Nina mentally prepared herself for what she had to do next. "Oh, Jason! I was wrong!" she cried.

Nina ran over to Jason, threw her arms around him, and kissed him on the lips.

As he kissed her back, Nina felt along Jason's jacket until she found the keys and grabbed them.

Jason briefly pulled away. "Oh, you're touchier than I remember," he whispered.

"I'm actually a lot more different than you remember!" said Nina. She suddenly kneed Jason in the nuts, causing him to fall on the ground and land in the fetal position.

Meanwhile Nina ran to the bed, reached under it, and pulled out the rope. Then, she used the rope to hog tie Jason.

Once she was finished, Nina nodded approvingly. "I think I did well."

Jason, however, was furious. "What, are you insane?" he bellowed. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

"I'm doing everything I can to save my friend," said Nina. "I'm being loyal. But of course, you wouldn't know anything about that."
