Britt and Zoey were up in the guest room, Britt layed on the bed looking at the ceiling. Zoey was watching out the window keeping watch as she noticed Bakura Escaping. She could only Imagine what her brother has planned now.

"he Left." Zoey said

"He won't stop until he has me back at Kul Elna." Britt said

"The Pharaoh doesn't seem to want to release you to brother." Zoey said

Britt knew this was true on what Zoey was saying of the Pharaoh . Though he knew she was different than Bakura. She liked helping the ones in need and earned her money to do so. It wasn't that easy though now that Bakura was looking for her it was becoming dangerous.

Soon they heard footsteps approaching, Zoey hid as Britt sat up from the bed. She fixed her hair just in case it was the Pharaoh. Not much longer after she fixed her hair, there was a knock on the door.

"Britt." Atem said

"Yes, Come in." Britt said

Atem entered the room seeing her sitting on the bed, he could only imagine that she was scared. He walked over and sat down by her. She was quiet but she was feeling a slight attraction to him after the kiss earlier. She tried avoiding eye contact with him since he was her pharaoh but he placed a hand under her chin making her look at him.

"Britt." Atem said again

"Y-yes.." Britt said

Bakura will not stop until he has her back. I must try to keep her here for her own protection. Atem thought

"would you mind if I courted you?" He asked her

Britt and Zoey were both surprised to hear the question. It was so direct and was forbidden by their difference in standings.

"I don't mind." Britt said

Is he going to kiss her again? Zoey thought

Atem smiled at her "thank you Britt." Atem said

Britt smiled at him, with his hand still under her chin she still had to look at him. She felt that same drawn to him from earlier when they kissed. Before too long Britt and Atem leaned in closing their eyes and kissed. Britt couldn't fight that earlier had been dangerous out in public.

Baku really won't be happy but it's Britts life not his. He can't control her just like he can't control me. Zoey thought

It was a little later when both finally pulled apart, Britt had a blush on her face. Atem looked at her but then hugged her slightly.

"I have to go." He said

"alright." Britt said

Atem let her go then left to do royal duties, Britt layed back on her bed as she covered her face with her hands.

What have I done? Bakura really will kill me for this!...but I liked it..I like him.. Britt thought

Zoey came out and jumped up on the bed making Britt jump and look at her. Zoey had a smile on her face and Britt looked away.

"You like him and he likes you." Zoey said

"you were watching?" Britt asked

"seeing my sister romantically kissing the pharaoh. Couldn't resist." Zoey said

"We never speak of this again." Britt said
