"Hey, stop being lovey-dovey and help me with the kids!" Kiba yelled in an annoyed tone to Shino and I. He and I were holding hands and watching the children of the Academy for their recess.

The three of us were walking around the village together when we came across a stressed Iruka Sensei. He had been summoned to the Hokage's office for official matter and needed somebody to watch the students for their recess. I had volunteered all three of us for the job. Kiba was a bit less than thrilled while Shino nodded his head in agreement.

The kids had taken it upon themselves to playfully tug Akamaru and jump on his back. Kiba's motherly instinct came out and he tried to pull the children off of his dog. I snickered at his struggle as Shino and I walked towards him.

"Akamaru should just stop being so adorable then." Playfully, I said and pulled a child off of Akamaru. "You need to be willing to be a bit tough around kids because you are too much of a softie for them." Kiba's jaw dropped in disbelief at what I had just said to him. "Okay, the next person to climb or tug on Akamaru without permission will have the wonderful job of running many laps for entertainment purposes!" I yelled and never before had I seen children move away from a dog so quickly.

"Sorry I am not a heartless person like you," Kiba muttered under his breath as he checked a whimpering Akamaru. "Damn, children can be rough with a dog. Akamaru just had his fur washed."

"You should not curse around young children." Shino pointed out and I squeezed his hand happily.

"Oh yeah?" Kiba asked and we could see that he was attempting to think of something clever to say. "Well I bet you will curse when you two have some!"

Swiftly, I let go of Shino's hand and smacked Kiba on the head. "Baka!" Angrily, I yelled at him with a face that was red from embarrassment. "You, you, you really need to think about what you are going to say."

"I think that you should think first if you are going to stumble over your words so much." Kiba snickered. "Come on, you two would be a sight to see as parents."

As much as I had wanted to deny anything that Kiba said, he was true.

Over the past few months Shino and I had worked on our relationship. We discussed many things and spent a lot of time together. It was nice because I was allowed to see Shino's rare smile that made my stomach feel as though butterflies were trying to fly towards the sun.

We came to a compromise with his bugs and decided what we would try to do. Slowly, I tried to be okay with the creatures. Occasionally Shino would have a bug crawl onto my hand while our hands were held together. I would breathe heavily and tightly hold onto his hand as I tried to calm myself down. We were making progress, one step at a time.

"Shut up and make sure the kids do not get hurt." I muttered at him in an annoyed tone. It was difficult to hide the large smile that was on my face. "It is your ass they are going after if they get hurt."

Falling for Bug Buy? I think this is something I can definitely live with.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Yes, I did end that in a tacky way. I am that cheesy of a person. I hope you guys really liked the epilogue to this though. Despite the fact that lately I have been a bit negative with an upset stomach, I really like how this came out.

What did you guys think of this story? Did I not waste your time with this story? Did you enjoy the characters? How are you? Do you guys have any summer homework too? *whispers* We could cry and complain together. xD

Have a wonderful day and smile! Farewell lovelies. ^w^
