A/N: So I apologise as it's been a while since I last updated, but I've been doing this for nearly a whole year now woooo :). I'll try and update before the end of June and please be aware that July and August are busy months for me, it's my boyfriend's birthday at the beginning of July, my daughter's first birthday at the end of July, my kid's joint birthday birthday at the start of August and my son's birthday in the middle of August, so I'll be busy preparing birthday presents and arranging their birthday party. But I hope you like this chapter and as always let me know what you think :)
Georgia waited in the entrance hall, yawning loudly as she continously checked her watch. She had to leave in five minutes to get down to the station in order to get to St Mungo's on time. If only she could take a port-key or via the floo network but her consultant had told her that apparition, port-keys and the floo network could harm her and the baby if she travelled using one of those methods. So the only safe way was to take the train back to london.
She let out a heavy sigh when she realised that Jeremy wasn't going to come to the appointment, she picked up her bag and walked with Madam Pomfrey down to the village; having no idea why she had given Jeremy another chance at being supportive to her and their unborn daughter. If he was letting her down now, he would always let their daughter down.
ooOoo
Lily woke up that morning and smiled to see James sitting at the end of his bed, holding a wrapped gift for her. It was her eighteenth birthday and she had made it clear that she didn't want a fuss but waking up to see James was a nice surprise. He moved over to her and kissed her forehead gently. She sat up and noticed that all the other boys were out of bed and probably in the common room.
"Happy Birthday beautiful." said James.
Lily smiled and opened her birthday gift from her boyfriend, stunned when she saw a heart shaped locket with an engraved lily on it. When James told her to open it up, she was even more surprised to see a picture of her and James dancing at the fountain placed neatly into the centre of the locket.
"Oh James, I love it!"
She turned and held her hair up to allow James to place it around her neck. He placed a tiny kiss on the back of her neck once he had sealed it and let it hang delicately around her neck. Lily turned back to face him, claiming his lips in a sweet kiss.
"Would you like some breakfast?"
Lily nodded, smiling when James placed her clothes neatly on the end of the bed and watched her dress. The two went down to the Great Hall for breakfast, the smiles stopped when Jeremy met them on the bottom step of the grand staircase.
"Happy Birthday Lily." Jeremy said brightly.
"Erm, thanks Jeremy."
"I got you a box of chocolates from Honeydukes." said Jeremy, handing over a small box.
Lily accepted the gift and said her thanks before James rolled his eyes at Jeremy.
"Problem Potter?" Jeremy spat.
"Shouldn't you be at an appointment with Georgia?"
Jeremy's eyes went wide, "Fuck, I forgot. I was just so wrapped up in Lily's birthday-
Lily scoffed in disbelief, finding it pathetic that Jeremy was still trying to win her back. She found it quite admiring that Georgia had found it in her heart to give Jeremy the chance at being a father but she guessed now that the fifth year girl was regretting even giving him the second chance that he clearly didn't deserve.
"Jeremy, thank you for the chocolates the gesture was nice. But nothing has changed, I'm with James now."
"Please Lily, he can never love you like I do-
Lily held her hand up and Jeremy fell silent, for the students in the entrance hall had began to stare at the three of them and Lily wanted to prevent more gossip being spread.
"He loves me more than what you ever claimed to do and I love him."
"You don't love him Lily. You love me, we belong together-
Lily could feel herself getting angry, she had never loved Jeremy. She had had strong feelings for him in the past but all that was over now, she knew that she could never love anyone as much as she loved James. She believed that she and James belonged together and although they were opposites, James had shown her there was more than what met the eye.
"I never loved you." Lily whispered harshly.
Jeremy stood there shocked at her revealation and Lily felt like her birthday had been ruined. She allowed James to lead her into the Great Hall where her friends sang cheerily and gave her presents whilst she fiddled with her spoon; barely eating her porridge. Jeremy continued to stand in the entrance hall for a little longer before going back to the Hufflepuff common room.
How could Lily publically humiliate him like that? Potter was being a bad influence on her, she wouldn't have done that before. It was Potter's fault. Lily had changed into someone he didn't even recognise. She used to be a girl who hated Potter and now she was no better than the flock of bimbo's that would throw their knickers at Potter, she was one of them now.
The match was coming up soon, he thought as he entered his dormitory. The room was empty as he began to pace the room, he was filling in as a chaser and Potter played chaser on the Gryffindor team. He sat on his bed and grinned darkly as his plan for revenge was beginning to play out rather nicely.
A/N: Not my best work so I'm sorry for that, but I will give you a spoiler, someone close to Lily will be getting 'close' with Jeremy in the next chapter :)
