A/n: Before you guys begin reading this, i'd like to say thank you all for being patient and waiting for this update. I promise I'll update more frequently.
The second thing I'd like to bring to attention is that the wonderful Syfygeek13 told me about the TNLOCK script. I've read part of the script, but I sadly skipped to the ending! And I'm so pleased! I was wondering since there isn't going to be a movie and the script isn't in such detail if you'd guys would like or would read me writing out the script but as a story- with detail and such! If you think that's a good idea, review or pm please!

Chloe had been awake for awhile now. Her mind was blazing with thoughts of what the day would hold. She was afraid. Afraid that she wasn't a good enough actress. That Brian would see through her phoney act, and call her out for it. Even if Brian, a small insecficant human that the Mai's have almost forgotten about, found out that her and Alek's relationship was a fraud, it wouldn't make a difference. He would have no one to tell. They had no mutual friends. But the possibility still scared her. She was going to take today's double date as a practice day. She needed to make Alek's and Chloe's relationship seem realistic, as if they were deeply in love with each other. She wanted people to look at her, and see the same thing Chloe say when she saw her mother and father interact. She snuggled into her comforter, she didn't want to get up, but sooner or later Alek would walk into her room, needing to have his shower.
She sighed, and pushed her self up. She rested her head against her head board, she quickly folded her legs up, and against her chest. She rested her head against her knees.
It wasn't as if this was the first time in the two weeks she's been married to Alek that she thought about her mother and fathers love. She remembered the big smile, the one that lit up her mothers features during the dead of night when her father would come home from a long business trip. Before her mother started officially dating again, her mother would sneak into Chloe's small bed and tell her stories about their love, and how epic it was. Chloe always wanted that, and to this day she still does. She wants a love that consumes her, she wants a lover who will understand her, make her smile, and be there for her no matter what. Just like her father was for her mother before he left. Chloe used to be bitter about it, she used to cry at night, because her father wasn't there to make her happy. But although her father left, Chloe knew, and knows that what her mother and father had was true love. Sure he left, and it hurt her mother more than words can describe but what they had when he was there, what Chloe saw, and what her mother would tell her later on, was something she wished she could have.
But Chloe couldn't have that. Not now anyway. She was stuck married to a guy she had hurt in the past, a guy she cared about a lot but just not enough for what she wanted. Chloe was attracted to him, but honestly what female wasn't. Alek had it all, the looks, the confidence, and even at moments the sweetness. He was a dream guy. If she was an onlooker in, it would seem that Chloe was the luckiest girl in the world. Sometimes she felt like it too. Sometimes even when they went on a walk, or bought groceries, or even watch a movie Chloe forgot that it was all fake. She forgot what brought them to the point they were at. She forgot that everything that made up there present relationship was a lie. And when she came back down to reality, one which he was only acting, it hurt. Every time it got worse, every time she remembered that it was all acting, all the little touches in public, the hand holding, even the cheesy names he called her, it felt like a blow to the chest.
"Chloe?" Alek called from outside her bedroom door. Chloe threw off her blanket, and climbed out of bed.
"Come in," she replied, bending down on her knees to find under garments, before tucking them under her arms, careful to hide her choice from Alek.
"Thought you were sleeping." Alek told her walking towards her bathroom door.
"No, just thinking." She replied. Chloe got off from her knees, and marched towards her closet, one which she shared with Alek, and pushed Alek's tuxes to the side as she looked for a nice fitting summer dress. She turned back towards Alek a couple of summer dresses in her hands. She found him sitting at the end of her bed in his pajammas. His hands were crossed, and placed over his lap.
"About?" He asked.
Chloe didn't reply, she placed her undergarments quickly on her bed and than threw one summer dress over it. She than carefully placed the other three beside it. Chloe starred down at the four dresses in front of her. They were all beautiful, and all bought by Amy. One was strapless, one had a sweat heart neck line, one was long selves, and one looked like a dolly dress.
"That one," Alek said pointing down at the long sleeve dress. It was a thin fabric meaning it wouldn't make her feel trapped and sweating. It would be tight on her chest, before flaring out right above her belly button. It was black.
"Thanks," she said pulling the under garments from under the other dress before wrapping it up with the dress she had chosen for the day.
"Were you thinking about Brian?" Alek asked quietly. Chloe looked towards Alek whom was still sitting at the end of her bed. His eye brows were knitted together in concern, and his eyes shined with curiosity.
"Kinda." She said, truthfully. She watched as a frown appeared on his lips. "Not like that, I'm over him but-"
"You think he still has feelings for you?" He asked quickly, as if the words were on fire and he needed to get them out of his mouth.
"I don't want to hurt him." She says answering his question. "But that's not what-"
"Don't play him along Chloe, your heart, acting or not, belongs to me. I'm your husband." He scolded her, as if she was a little child.
"I wouldn't do that, Alek! He has a girlfriend he obviously moved on."
"Ah, I see now," he snarled, "you wish he didn't have a girlfriend, you want him to still have feelings for you."
Chloe shocked that Alek would say such a thing towards her, stepped back. His words were harsh, and he had a scowl on his face. She had never seen him so mad. She had never been the one Alek would voice his anger towards.
"I'd thought you'd have grown from your ways of leading, and playing with guys hearts." He said quietly before lifting himself off her bed. Chloe kept her mouth shut, she didn't know how to respond to that. She didn't even want to try and respond, for she'd probably say something that would make the situation worse. He looked down at her, a frown still on his face, and spun around. She watched as he marched towards the washroom door, pulling off his plain grey shirt.
He didn't look at her, he just slammed the wash room door shut.
Chloe picked up the black dress Alek had chosen for her, and sunk onto her bed, the dress splayed out on her lap. She heard the tap being turned on, and the sound of water hitting the tiles in the shower. Chloe felt horrible. She understood what Alek was getting at. She had in a way led him on. She was still involved with Brian when she started 'dating' Alek. Chloe had done a wrong. But it had been almost two years since he had over heard her telling her mother about her feelings towards Brian. Why couldn't he just forget about it?
Chloe bit her lip, and flopped back onto her bed.
She couldn't blame him for being upset, not really anyway. He had every right. Almost two years ago, Chloe had crushed him, hurt him, and he never once yelled at her. He gave her the silent treatment, sometimes even the death glare. But he never once shouted at her. But than again back than there was a lot to worry about, besides Alek's pain over Chloe's wrong.

Chloe had just finished getting ready for the double date she had agreed to going on, before Alek knocked on the door twice before peaking his head in.
"I'm ready." He told her. He gave her a small smile. Chloe heaved a sigh and smiled back. Alek had forgiven her, or at least attempted to.
"Come in," she told him waving him in. He opened the door wider, and slid in. He was wearing black levis jeans and a grey button up. His hair was perfectly styled, looking softer than ever.
"You look," he began a smirk on his lips.
"I'm sorry." She blurted. She had said sorry to him so many times, but he just waved them off, and changed the topic. But today, although they had to leave in less than hour, they would fix this. She would apologize, go on her knees and beg him to realize she wasn't like that anymore, that she had realized what she did was wrong.
"I know Chlo," He sighed. He ran his long pianist fingers through his hair, making it look messier but some how sexier.
"No you don't." she told him forcefully. "I shouldn't have let us start a relationship when I still had feelings for Brian. I know you know I'm sorry, lord knows how many times I've said it, but I want you to know I wouldn't ever do that again. To anyone."
"I know you wont Chloe." He told her moving closer to her.
"Than why would you-" she began.
"I don't know." He started, "you were just thinking about him and it hit an old nerve. I'm over it. I've been over it. I forgave you a long time ago Chloe."
"We don't have to go." She told him. She understood that she was putting Alek in a uncomfortable position. Alek had to act as if he loved Chloe, act like they were a happily married couple, in front of the guy that once was Alek's rivalry. You'd think Alek would be happy to flaunt the girl Brian lost. But in someway Alek hadn't won her ether.
"I'm fine Chlo," he smirked before walking past her and sitting at the end of the bed.
Chloe nodded her head, not really believing him. She turned back towards the mirror above their shared dresser and placed one of her curls behind her ear, before checking if her makeup was good enough to go out in public with. Chloe was good at many things but putting on makeup wasn't one of them. She looked at Alek through the mirror and found him staring back at her.
"We need our back story," he told her, still looking her dead in the eye through the mirror.
Chloe spun around quickly, she glanced at the alarm clock by her bedside. They had less than 10 minutes to figure out what they would tell Brian and his girlfriend.
"I don't know we were in school a couple months ago Alek. We never even thought about pretending to get married." Chloe told him now nervous.
"We could say that we were hiding our relationship because you didn't want people to know?" He asked, biting his lip in thought.
"Why would I say that?" She asked, with an eyebrow raised.
"Because I was and still am mind you, very popular and you didn't want that kind of attention." He said surely, nodding his head along with what he was saying.
"But this has to be after Brian left to Europe." She told him. Although everything that was said about Aleks, and Chloe's romantic relationship was a lie, Chloe did not want to hurt Brian. She wanted it to be clear that Alek and her began dating after Brian had left.
"That leaves us together for 1, almost two years." Alek said nodding his head in agreement to Chloe's previous statement. He had done the math and thought it to be acceptable.

Alek opened the passenger side door for Chloe, he waited patiently for her to buckle in her seat belt before slamming her door shut. For some reason Alek had come accustom to doing this for Chloe. She didn't mind.
As Alek walked around the front of the car, Chloe began nervously flattening down her dress. She bit her lip as Alek opened the car door, and slid in.
"Nervous?" Alek asked her while buckling in his seat belt.
"Hopefully our acting skills are up to par," she replied instead of telling him the truth. She was nervous, and she had the right to be. It was easy for Chloe and Alek to fool the Mai they had meet a few days ago, but fooling someone who you once loved and were loved by, Chloe suspected would be more difficult.
"Don't question my acting skills, Chloe, if it weren't for being Mai and having a duty to the Mai, I would be on movie screens across the world." He told her jokingly. Although, Alek wasn't serious about being an actor, Chloe still felt a jolt of guilt. Alek could be anything he wanted. If he truly wanted to be an actor Chloe had no doubt in her mind that he could be one. He had the looks, the personality, and she joyfully would admit that he was a decent actor. If it wasn't for Chloe, Alek could be whatever he wanted to be, achieve any goal he deemed worthy of his time, but instead he was stuck watching over Chloe for the rest of his life, or hers.
"Almost there," he mumbled looking at his GPS. Chloe snapped out of her train of thought, and began to panic.
"Wait, no Alek we don't even have any stories we can tell, inside jokes or-"
"Don't worry we can make things up on the spot." He told her turning down a different street. They were almost at the all ages bar, a place Chloe and Alek wouldn't be able to get any alcoholic drinks from because of there age.
"Don't look so nervous they'll think something's up, don't worry I'll try my best not to scare him." Alek told her as he drove around the club, and towards the back which was were the parking lot was.
"You don't scare him," Chloe told Alek, she glanced at herself in the side view mirror to check if her mascara looked clumped.
"Come on Chloe we both saw his expression when he saw me with you at the coffee shop"
"He was surprised to see me," she huffed, "and probably shocked to see us together, as a married couple."
"Surprised? It seems to me he was waiting to running into you." Alek said pointy.
"What do you mean?" She asked distractedly as she looked into side view mirror once again, watching as the car drove further into the parking lot and away from the road.
"Chloe he started working at the coffee shop beside your old work." Alek replied turning around and driving out of the parking lot they turned into, which so happened to be full of parked cars. Chloe slumped into her seat, she wanted to open the car door and walk around, she was nervous.
"So," she said, clutching the side of her seat as Alek did a sharp turn out of the clubs full parking lot. He drove straight for a few seconds before turning down and into the building beside the club.
"He shouldn't be the least surprised to see you" he told her, parking in the closet spot towards the entrance of the lot.
"Come on let's go," Chloe said rolling her eyes at him, she waited for him to unlock child safety before climbing out of the car with a huff.
Alek grinned at her before, climbing out of the car and walking towards her. He grabs her limp hand, and entangles it with his. Chloe didn't tug her hand out because tonight was all about acting, they needed to make it seem like they were a couple.
She followed mutely as Alek pulled her towards a turn, which brought them to the alley in between the club and the building-which they parked behind. There was a large garbage bin on the clubs side, and it reeked. She used the opposite hand that Alek wasn't holding and covered her noes from the stench. She looked up at Alek and watched as his nostrils flared but he never lifted a hand to cover his noes. Suddenly feeling a bit foolish and dramatic she dropped her hand from around her noes and quickened her steps.
Alek pulled her out from the dark alley, and onto the sidewalk. He let go of her hand and instead wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer to his side. Chloe felt her own body relax as well as his. Chloe looked towards the entrance knowing that Brian would be there with his date. They had planned to all go in at once.
She spotted Brian standing a few meters away from the front doors of the club, he was standing in the dark, were the sidewalks light didn't reach. She squinted at him, trying to get a better look without using her Mai abilities.
He was wearing a light blue crew neck sweater, with dark Levi's jeans. His hair was a bit longer and it seemed he hadn't shaved that morning. He looked the same as usual. She moved her gaze from her ex lover towards his new girlfriend. She was beautiful. Her hair was a dark brown mess of curls that cascaded down her back elegantly. She was thin, thinner than Chloe, she didn't have the biggest breast but Chloe's felt small in comprehension. Her skin was a the color of milk chocolate, it looked smooth and clear. This girl was obviously gorgeous.
In a span of seven seconds Alek and Chloe ended up in front of the couple.
"Hey," Chloe said giving Brian a short hug.
"Hey." He responded, before turning to Alek and shaking his hand. They gave each other a quick nod, a form of greeting each other.
"This is Giana, my girlfriend." Brian began, his hands motioning towards the curly haired girl. The girl smiled lightly at both Alek and Chloe before saying hello.
Chloe turned to Alek as he voiced his hello back. She watched as he gave the girl a look up and down, as his nostrils flared, and as his eyebrows knitted together in thought before wrapping his arm around Chloe's waist and leading the way into the club.

They had danced for thirty minutes before deciding to take a brake. They were currently sitting in a small booth against the wall and close to the bar. From were Chloe sat she was able to see the gyrating bodies on the dance floor. She sipped her coke in silence watching as the people danced their hearts out.
"So Brian told me that you guys are married." Giana said in a questioning tone, as if she didn't believe her boyfriend.
"Yes, were married." Alek spoke up, he pulled Chloe closer to him, there thighs side by side. Chloe could feel his jeans against her bare leg.
"Aren't you guys young?" Giana asked sliding more into the booth. Chloe saw Brian begin to walk towards them. He was holding to alcoholic beverages. One for him, and one for Giana. Alek and Chloe weren't old enough, and could only stick to the pops they served. Although Alek was possibly able to get an alcoholic drink, he didn't because he knew Chloe couldn't and wouldn't want any.
"No," Chloe answered quickly, her hand making its way from her knee towards his. She squeezed his knee, physically voicing that she was nervous.
"At first she didn't want to say yes, because she thought the same thing." Alek said. "Didn't you hunny?"
She nodded her head meekly, letting Alek take control of the situation. He kissed the top of her forehead.
"But than I guess she realized that love is love, and that what we have is forever, sooner or later we'd end up married, so what's the point of waiting." He said to Giana now, smiling lazily.
"Aw, aren't they the cutest." Giana cooed. Brian, who had sat down and joined them while Alek was explaining to Giana why they had gotten married so young, smiled falsely in response.
After that they began to talk about how Giana and Brian met, which was in a small cafe in Europe. Giana explained why she decided to come to America with Brian, even though she had a year left for traveling purposes. She said that same thing Alek did, but for her own circumstance. Than they talked about their jobs, where they were living and so forth. During that mindless chatter, Chloe could feel Alek move around in his seat. She had turned to him many times, and found him watching Giana with a suspicious look.
After 15 minutes of small talk died down, Alek turned to Chloe smiling softly. He leaned towards her placing a hair behind her ear, before whispering "play along".
Chloe nodded her head slightly.
He kissed her forehead lightly, before inching away, a frown evident on his lips.
"Chloe you feel warm," he said bringing his hand up to her forehead.
Chloe held back and eye roll. "It's really hot in here," she opted to responded with. She motioned to gyrating bodies mere meters away.
"Let's go get some fresh air, cool you down a bit." He said grabbing her hand and sliding out from the booth. Chloe climbed out and let Alek pull her to his side. She hid herself in Aleks arm, closing her eyes and breathing in his scent. She played the dizzy overheated girlfriend perfectly, if he had to say so herself.
"I'm going to take her out for some fresh air," Alek repeated himself. "We'll be back in a few."
They nodded there heads in unison. Giana told them to hurry back soon because the slow dance portion of the night was supposedly coming soon.
Chloe hoped they'd by accidentally miss out on it.
She looked back at Giana, nodding her head at her suggestion to come back soon, and let Alek pull her out of the club. The cold night air hit her and she suddenly realized how hot it really was in that club. Alek loosened his arm around her waist and instead grabbed her hand and pulled her away from the busy sidewalk and towards the alley they had walked in from earlier this evening.
"Okay, what's up." Chloe said once they were inside the alley. She pulled her hand away from Aleks, and places it on her hip.
"Giana," he whispered, "is Mai."
Chloe's head jerked back in astonishment. She wasn't. She couldn't be. The Mai wouldn't go that far, would they?
"How do you know?" Chloe asked. The whole night Chloe didn't see one thing wrong with Giana, she was beautiful, interesting and completely normal.
"Her smell," he replied.
"You smelled her?" Chloe asked, a bit put off.
"Don't give me that look. Did I not give you a little whiff when we first encountered?"
"That-"
"You did-do smell more enchanting. But I did catch her scent, and she's definitely Mai."
"Are we going to confront her?" Chloe asked, dropping her hands from her hips and looking up at Alek.
"We can't," he told her.
"Listen, she's a Mai, she obviously knows who you and I are. There's a large chance she's helping the Mai figure out if we are real."
"Okay, that means we need to be better actors." She said sighing. Alek nodded his head in agreement. Chloe moved to walk around him, prepared to put on the best show of her life but Aleks eyes flashed-his beautiful cat eyes making a quick appearance before going back to human. He gently shoved her against the wall, and placed his hands flat against the wall, on hand beside her head and the other lower- near her hip. She was trapped in by Alek's arms and body.
His head inches closer to her face, and she closes her eyes quickly. Her body was flush against his. She didn't know what to do. Apart of her wanted to grab his head in her hands and pull his lips to hers, but another wanted to push him off, roughly. Chloe begins to feel his breath on her cheek, and than it goes lower to the crook of her neck.
"Don't move," he breaths out, slowly, his lips gently touching her skin as he spoke.
Chloe listens to him, and stays extremely still.
And a few short seconds later, Giana appears. Chloe watches as Giana flushes a beat red at finding Alek and Chloe in such position.
"Oh, wow. Sorry." She mumbles looking at the floor.
Chloe sighs a sigh of relief. Alek pushes himself off of her and turns to Giana. Chloe touches her cheek to feel that it's hot. She's most likely a scarlet red. Great.
"I came out to ask if you wanted new drinks ordered. Uh Brian and I left to dance a bit and left the drinks unattended." She tells them. Alek chuckles and accepts the offer for a new drink. Chloe looked at him, shocked at how collected he was. Chloe felt like she was on fire, her skin was still burning hot. How could he act so normal?
Giana turned to leave, and Chloe began to follow. She didn't want any physical contact with Alek at the moment, because she could still feel his lips on her neck. His lips had only grazed her sensitive skin, but that was the only intimate contact Chloe had with a boy since she her wedding when she had to kiss Alek.
She quietly followed Giana who was only a step ahead. And Alek a step behind Chloe. The alley was pitch black. Chloe wanted to use her Mai eyesight but refrained and instead opted to squinting. She heard Aleks footsteps quicken, and guessed he would come beside her and grab her hand or something but no, instead he reached for something totally inappropriate.
"Watch your hands," Chloe growls. His hand slides up back to her waist.
"It's not my fault it's dark," he replies in a teasing tone. Chloe looks up to find Giana had stopped to watch the pair bicker.
"So you don't know basic attonemy? Keep your hands in your pockets Alek." She replies, shaking off his ever exploring hands.
"You guys are the cutest," Giana says gleefully.
Chloe stops herself from rolling her eyes at the girl, and instead jogs up to walk beside her. She felt jittery. Alek needed to stop touching her. Her skin felt hot and she didn't know if she could take anymore. She didn't want to imagine what would happen at home, were no one could intrude.
And than she realized something. Alek wouldn't play these moves if Giana wasn't there. He wouldn't have touched her like that, now or ever if it wasn't for someone watching. He was acting. She needed to do that too. She couldn't afford to get caught up in the act, she had to push her past feelings- ones that kept coming back when she was near him, and her lust and convince the Mai. Once they convinced the Mai, once the Mai go bored of Chloe's love life, once they stopped watching her, she'd be able to live her life. She'd be single, no Alek, but than again at least she wouldn't be confused. She would be able to find a real relationship. That's what she needed. So right now, for how long it may take she needed to be an Emmy award winning actress, and fool the Mai and everyone else who dare think Alek and Chloe's relationship was a lie.
