Violet

No matter how many shooting stars I wish on, my wish will not come true and I still do not own anything (t_t)

Just a reminder that a little more has been added to the last chapter, if you have not already read it (^.^)

She instantly knew how Sirius felt when he was inside the Veil. Hermione saw nothing but darkness as soon as her eyes opened. At least she thought her eyes were open. She pinched herself to be sure she was awake.

She confirmed that she was awake.

She took note of the hard floor where she had woken up. It was cool, maybe stone or concrete. She felt around and felt a mattress, which she chose to avoid for the time being. Who knew where it had been or what filthiness it was covered in?

'Where am I Jareth?' She asked herself. She was not scared yet. She had helped Harry face Voldemort and had been tortured by Bellatrix Lestrange, but she was worried because now she had someone else to worry about.

"Where am I?" She softly whispered aloud.

O.o.O.o

"What do we do Severus?" Ambry softly asked of him. "It has been one day since she has been taken and he is-" she covered her lips to stifle her sob. "He will not last a week without them," she whispered.

"Have faith," Severus said quietly. "If not in yourself, then have faith in me."

"What do we tell the others?" She asked. "No one can know he is like this. If this gets out there may be a rebellion from others in the Kingdom, Hoggle would see to it. Jareth cannot fight like this."

"For now we will say that he is spending numerous amounts of hours studying and planning out battle strategies before submitting them to his Generals in addition to studying location spells and charms while searching for Hermione," Severus said.

"They will know he is not in his study," Ambry said. "There are eyes and ears in the castle."

"He will have to remain here in Hermione's rooms," Severus said. "I think a suitable diversion is in order," he smirked while holding up a flask of foul smelling potion.

"What in Nimue's name?" Ambry held her nose while trying not to breathe in the horrid scent of the foul substance. Severus simply plucked a hair from Jareth's head, dropped it into his flask, and swallowed a large gulp of the potion. He made the polyjuice transformation look less painful then it actually was for a normal wizard.

"You or Catalina will stay with him at all times," Severus said to Ambry. Ambry looked up at him in shock when he finished transforming. "I will be in my study making a location potion to find Hermione."

"Severus-" Ambry began.

"Jareth," he corrected her. "For now. We cannot afford to have two wars on our hands now, can we?" He asked rhetorically. He left her to look after her brother and carefully warded and the closed doors behind him so only himself and Jareth's mother and sister could enter Hermione's rooms.

"What is being done to find my daughter?" Lucius asked the Goblin King as soon as he entered his study.

"I have Severus working on a location potion," Severus answered. "A few of my goblins have been given permission to find her with any means necessary, and Ambry has tasked a few of her fairies with looking out for her also. The fairies are attracted to nightmares, they simply decide if the person needs to have a good dream."

"All Mia needs is to have a nightmare," Lucius said. "I think this might bring back a few undesirable memories for her," he said dolefully.

"Se-Oh, it's you Jareth," Ambry managed to correct herself as soon as she entered the study to find her lover busy with the elder Malfoy. "I believe we have Official business to conduct," she said pointedly, looking at Severus and then a short glance at Lucius.

"Hmm," Severus hummed. "If you would excuse us, dear friend, my sister and me need to oversee, ah, top-secret business," he said to Lucius. Lucius looked at him suspiciously before giving him a small nod and taking his leave.

"There is an emergency," Ambry said hurriedly while securing the door after the wizard exited. "Jareth let his arrogance confidence override his intelligence again and the Aurors managed to break into Gringott's."

"Damn," Severus hissed.

"It is obvious why you did not feel the wards breaking, but Jareth has and my mother and I had to secure him to the bed," she smirked. "You, my love, are going to need a quick lesson in Fae magic."

"What?" Severus asked. "I am not even one-tenth Fae therefore it is impossible for me to access your kind of magic," he objected.

"Think Severus!" Ambry said. "You have denounced your world and embraced ours. This is one of the many things that allow your magic to become sympathetic with ours. It normally takes a good few years to learn how to combine and control these two magics, but you only have five minutes! Listen carefully now," she ordered. "Jareth is the most powerful Fae in this realm and you have one minute to learn how to conjure a crystal sphere and four to learn how to conjure a magic crystal sphere."

"Feel this," she instructed, pushing a small sphere into his hand. "Feel how smooth the glass is in your palm, under your fingers."

"It is almost weightless," Severus observed, holding the sphere up to his eyes while balancing it on the tips of his fingers. Ambry plucked to crystal from his fingertips.

"Close your eyes and feel the sphere now," she directed. "Imagine the feel and its weight in your hand. See it in your hand. After you can see and feel its tangibility, simply twist your wrist and flick your fingers to bring the sphere into reality."

Severus did as instructed and frowned at the faded crystal in his hand. The two watched as the weightless 'bubble' floated up, up, and up and finally popped when it floated into the ceiling. Ambry laughed and hugged him.

"I am glad you are a quick learner!" She smiled.

"How was that successful?" Severus asked, annoyed with himself that he did not conjure a solid sphere on his first try.

"If I had told you to imagine a weightless 'bubble' to begin with, would you have known how it was supposed to feel?" She asked. "Now all you have to do is 'place' your magic into the sphere and it will become solid."

O.o

"What are you doing?" Catalina demanded. Jareth smirked as he faded into his office Aboveground.

"Ragnok," he called before tossing a crystal towards the fireplace. The fire roared and burned purple before the whole wall melted into nothing. Jareth stepped on the other side of the demolished wall and it reappeared behind him.

"Your majesty," Ragnok answered as he watched his King peruse an extremely large crystal that was floating just above a stone-engraved diagram of Gringott's.

"Capture everyone," he ordered. "Alive or dead. Preferably alive so that I may question them. The Head Auror is to be kept alive at all costs. He may have something I need," Jareth said darkly.

"Yes, your majesty," Ragnok smiled with every single one of his sharp teeth on display. Any witch or wizard would have fainted at the sight of a smiling goblin that looked as though he would thoroughly enjoy the impending blood bath.

"You have a bit of nargle right here," Jareth pointed to his own teeth. "Go floss," he murmured. The goblin blushed and scurried away.

O.o.O

"Mother!" Ambry held her hand over her heart.

"Severus, Ambrosia," Catalina answered. "Jareth is Aboveground."

"What!" Ambry yelled. "How? And how did you know this was Severus?" Catalina smirked at the couple.

"I already know that I am going to have to plan two weddings," she said with a shake of her head. "You always underestimate a mother's instinct Ambry," she chided her daughter. "Continue on with your intendant's lessons. There is no need to hurry now."

"Intendant?" Severus choked out. Ambry looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Of course," Severus smiled. Ambry gave him a firm nod while Catalina hid her smirk behind a book.

O.o.O.o

"We cannot just sit around and do nothing!" Harry yelled at the gathered group. "My sister is out there somewhere and you all are just-"

"Do you not think we feel the same way, Potter!" Draco hissed. "Hermione is my sister too, in every way but blood, and you don't think we want to be active participants in searching for Mia?"

"Oh God I just realised," Harry fell into an available armchair in shock.

"That you are a complete imbecile?" Draco smirked. Harry rolled his eyes and smirked at the blond.

"Hermione and I were bonded as siblings during the horcrux hunt," Harry said casually while playing with a few tendrils of white-golden light that emanated from his left palm. He opened his hand to show a golden sun in the palm of his hand. "What does your bond look like?" He asked the Malfoys. Lucius started chuckling in his chest and his laugh became louder when he saw the gob-smacked look on his brother and son's faces.

"I would say welcome to the family," Lucius said, "but I think we have officially been a part of your family for a few weeks now," he chuckled while Narcissa smiled into her husband's shoulder.

"Oy! Uncle Severus," Harry called to his former professor. Severus instantly recovered from his shock and glared at his former student. "How do you get a blond on the roof?" Harry asked before Severus could scald him with words. Severus just looked down at the raven-haired young man before his lips twitched.

"Tell him that drinks are on the house," he answered. Harry and Severus smothered their chuckles while a room full of blonds glared at the duo.

"I was introduced to blond jokes when Severus left me to fend for myself at that muggle pub," Lucius glared at his brother.

"You asked for it!" Severus declared. "I explicitly explained that we were going into muggle London and gave you precise directions on how to dress. You ignored everything and went dressed as a wizard."

"Well those hip hugging bells bottom trousers you transfigured for me to wear would not stop ringing!" Lucius defended himself. Harry had to swallow his chuckles. "Plus, the way the trousers kept massaging my hips...I still say there were all kind of things wrong with muggles in the Seventies! How the men could walk around with full erections is beyond me," He muttered. "No wonder muggle women had to wear mini clothing." Harry smothered his laughter into a throw pillow while Severus never wiped the smirk off his face.

"Now that everyone has had a chance to calm down," Severus said a few minutes after Harry collected himself. "The five of us are here because we have a problem," he started and looked to Ambry for her to continue.

"My brother is Aboveground," Ambry began. "While he is there I need you all to know something and you all need to keep this between you and yourself."

"Is something else wrong?" Narcissa asked worriedly.

"Something is right," Ambry gave her a sad smile, "but at the moment everything is wrong."

"What do you mean?" Draco asked.

"Jareth and Hermione are soul mates," Severus said. Narcissa smiled and clapped while Lucius did not know whether to look relieved or upset, but chose to look relieved because this meant Hermione would have the happy future she deserved.

"Do not become too ecstatic," Ambry warned. "Jareth and Hermione formed their bond outside of the bonds of a magical marriage and this has its consequences," she said softly.

"What does that mean?" Lucius asked calmly, though he was suddenly seething inside.

"Hermione and Jareth need to be around each other always," Ambry answered. "At least until their bond is satisfied with a marriage bond."

"What is happening now that Hermione has been taken?" Harry asked. Ambry looked at him with tear-filled eyes.

"Jareth is dying," she whispered, causing Narcissa to gasp. "The bond is taking their separation as a rejection. Once a Fae gives his heart and it is rejected..." she found she could not finish.

"The Fae dies," Severus said. "He needs Hermione and Hermione is in danger of premature birth if Jareth passes on."

"What?" Lucius and Narcissa yelled.

"Fae births are special," Ambry said softly. "The babe needs the magic of both its parents to grow and survive."

"We shou-!" Harry began again.

"Enough!" Severus hissed at him. "The only reason we are telling you all this is because I need a few drops of blood from all of you," he said. "I am working on a location potion and it will be more powerful if I have all of our blood to add at the end."

"When will the potion be done?" Narcissa asked while holding out her wand arm for him to take blood.

"It is already in its final stage," Severus answered while pulling a few phials out of his robes, carefully labelling them, and proceeding to collect the few drops of blood from each person that meant something to Hermione. "I will be back in two hours," Severus said after carefully healing the incision he made in Draco's arm. He collected each phial and strode out of the room.

"Severus!" Ambry hissed quietly. Severus gave her an inquiring glance. "Jareth," she reminded him.

"I know," he said. "Right now everyone knows he is not here," he said pointedly as the two entered Jareth's potions laboratory and Severus securely warded the room. "It would not be smart to have two Jareth's up and walking around now," he said.

O.o.O.o

"Sirius!" Ginny hissed at the man spooning against her back.

"What?" He grumbled.

"We just had sex!" She exclaimed.

"And it was fucking wonderful," Sirius said with a wide grin.

"Not once, but six times!" Ginny said, turning over at frowning at him.

"Who knew I was missing out on so much," he continued. "I should have taken Abigail, Liza, Perdita, Fanny, Marlene, Bethany-"

"Basically all of Hogwarts," Ginny said wryly.

"Basically yes," Sirius smirked. "If I had known sex felt this good I would have taken those girls up on their offers."

"What about Severus?" Ginny asked.

"What about Hermione?" He retorted.

"I still love her," she said quietly.

"As do I," Sirius said. "But the two people we love are now taken and I found something that at least brings me temporary pleasure," he wiggled his eyebrows while his hand drifted down her stomach and between her thighs.

"Mmm," she moaned. "I agree."

O.o.O.o

Harry followed the sound of the infant's cries as it echoed down the corridor. To a once lonely orphan, it sounded as if the child were screaming its broken heart for all to hear. His own heart clenched in his chest for the child.

He once voiced his broken heart for all to hear, but was beaten and thrown into a cupboard. He learned not to be seen more than necessary and never heard; though his relatives made sure he received a daily beating to drive away his 'freakishness'. The only person he had ever confided in about his childhood was Hermione, and since then she made sure to let him know that he was loved in any small way she could think of. He was extremely grateful for his best friend and made sure not to be unappreciative or even ungrateful of her presence in his life.

For him, Hermione was his blessing. She was his assurance to himself that he deserved to sit at the table with normal people...his assurance that he was not a freak.

He peeked into the nursery to spy an elven maid attending to the infant, but was wholly unsuccessful in her attempts to calm the child.

"She's just grieving," Harry spoke up quietly. The maid gasped and almost tripped. "Careful!" Harry rushed to steady to woman while she cradled the baby carefully against her chest, prepared to meet the floor while protecting the child. "Sorry for frightening you," Harry lightly blushed.

"It is fine," the maid said softly. "What did you mean?" She asked after a few awkward moments. Harry agitatedly ruffled his hair for even opening his mouth to begin with.

"I lost my parents when I was a little over a year old," he said quietly, "but I remember voicing how much I missed my mum and dad. That's what she's doing right now." The maid looked down at the bundle in her arms with pity written all over her face. "Do not pity her," Harry said, offended on behalf of the child.

"I-I'm sorry sir," the maid stuttered.

"Where's Narcissa?" Harry demanded.

"S-she is busy sir," she answered.

"I will take her then," Harry said roughly. "At least she can be with someone who understands," he said more to himself then the elven maid.

"I am sorry sir," she said quietly, carefully handing the delicate bundle over to his inexperienced arms. Harry looked down at the crying child in his arms and smiled.

"I thought her eyes were blue," he said after a few moments.

"A-all babes are born with blue eyes," the maid answered quietly.

"Really?" Harry asked, looking up from the child to see the maid finish her folding. "What colour will her eyes be then?"

"Yes sir," she said softly. "I think they will become as green as your own." Harry's eyes fell onto a picture resting on a side table.

"Who is this supposed to be?" He asked the maid, catching her before she could quietly take her leave.

"The child's father sir," she answered. Harry almost dropped picture and the precious bundle he held from his shock.

O.o.O.o

"Look who's finally awake." Hermione looked up at the voice and tried to concentrate on seeing the owner's face in the darkness. "Lazy," she heard him mutter.

"Where am I?" Hermione ignored the taunt.

"Why do you want to know? It won't do you any good anyway," was her sarcastic answer.

"What do you want with me Ronald?" She demanded to know.

"Can't you just shut up for one second?" He hissed.

"Not when you kidnap me and keep me imprisoned in this dusty room!" She hissed back. "How did you even kidnap me from the Underground?" She could not help but ask.

"Really simple," Ron smirked. "That mirror my father used to contact my mum a few weeks back, it goes both ways. All I had to do was enlarge it and step through." Hermione rolled her eyes because he really was a simpleton. If their roles were reversed, she would not have given up that 'card' as easily as he just did.

"Well he has a brain," she taunted him.

"Shut up!" He hissed. "We can't all be know-it-alls like you!" He yelled.

"How long have I been here anyway?" Hermione ignored him but was also extremely curious because it felt like she had been in that dark room for weeks.

"Four days," he smirked. Hermione's heart stuttered and she had to bite back a sob so as not to give him the pleasure of hearing her heart break.

"I hate you Ronald Weasley!" She hissed venomously when she was able to get a hold of her emotions. "I would curse you if I had my wand!" He shivered at the maliciousness of her voice and thought about rethinking his plan, but he had already come this far.

"Would you just shut the hell up?" He yelled at her.

"No I will not shut the hell up! If it hadn't been for you I could be married to the love of my life right now!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

"You don't have anyone else! You're mine!" Ron yelled back.

"No," Hermione hissed. "I was never completely yours-"

"I can take care of that easily," Ron said, forcing her back with his wand.

"No you can't because I'm Jareth's!" Hermione yelled. "I'm Jareth's, Jareth, JARETH!" She screamed.

O.o.O.o

"Mommy," he called softly. "Toby's crying again," he said, annoyed with all the attention his brother seemed to receive lately. "When's daddy coming home?" He asked rudely. "At least he plays with me." He instantly felt sorry for being rude when his mother sobbed.

"Daddy can't come home," he heard her whisper.

"I'm sorry for being mean mommy," he whispered. "Don't cry. I won't do it again 'kay," he said. "I'll be good and daddy can come home right?" He asked.

"I'm sorry, Cole," she answered. "Daddy's...daddy's stuck in a place where he can't leave to see us," she choked out.

"But I need him," Cole whinged. "He's the only one that plays with me! You just play with Toby now!"

"I don't mean to," she whispered. "Toby is small and needs a little more attention, otherwise he won't be able to grow up as big and strong as you are," she explained. "I don't love you any less, Cole. I want you to know that I love you just as much as Toby."

"Make daddy come home!" Cole continue to whinge, ignoring his mother.

"Cole," she warned. "Stop," she said, but his whinges became angry tears and he started stomping his feet. "Behave young man," she warned again. It felt as if everything were closing in on her.

"Stop Cole," she said again. He continued his tantrum by throwing himself on the floor while pounding his fists and kicking his feet. His tantrum woke baby Toby and his cries filled the house, along with Cole's yelling and screaming.

She felt like running away. She had to get away.

"Jareth," Sarah whispered.

O.o.O.o

He smirked as he witnessed the wall close in behind the group. The three Aurors jumped at the sound of the moving stone, but were too late to escape being closed into the small space.

"How are these walls moving?" One of the Aurors asked.

"Magic," one of the others smirked.

Jareth smirked at the crystal sphere floating over the map of his bank. He held his index finger and thumb over the map and slowly moved his fingers closer and closer together.

"The walls are closing!" The last Auror yelled. "There's no way out," he started hyperventilating.

"Ah!" Jareth hung onto the stone podium that held his map. His heart twitched painfully in his chest. "Hermione," he whispered, feeling her heart cry out to him. "I'm coming," he grunted out, his breath scattering some of the gathered stone dust that covered the map.

"What's this?" He paused, feeling a slight twitch near the back of his head. "Hmm," he hummed before fading away.

I wish I were Jareth's…*sigh*
