Hey everyone, sorry if this took so long. I've got some new story ideas for later when I'm done writing a few chapters for it. Until then, minna-san, read and enjoy~

"On the phone"

'Thoughts'

Chris was woken by her phone ringing loudly, the time being around five in the morning. Groaning angrily and tiredly, Chris picked up her phone and practically growled into the small silver device. "Whoever this is better have a good freaking reason for calling at five in the morning!" Nervous laughing was the reply as a familiar voice answered. "Sorry about that. I just wanted to let you know that the video you sent was absolutely hilarious! Your students looked horrified when you two paired them together." Kisuke explained as the distinct sound of a fan was heard.

Chris growled as she sat up, the bed covers pooling at her legs as she ran a hand through her hair tiredly. "Yes, it was. I assume you have something else to say though." She yawned. "I'll have to tell them soon. I won't be able to keep these conversations secret for long. Uryū is starting to get suspicious about the random calls." Kisuke's voice became serious and quiet, sounding cautious. Chris tensed and looked towards her laptop on the nightstand, already having a plan for if this happened.

"Alright. Tell Uryū to stay on his computer and enter a chat box when it appears later". "Are you sure?" Kisuke asked a final time. "Yes, I'm sure. I have to go, got a class to teach and all. Bye Kisuke." "Bye Chris. Good luck over there." Kisuke answered before he hung up, the dial tone ringing before Chris went back to sleep. Amethyst looked at her worriedly from her spot on the other side of the bed as she attempted to go back to sleep.

Growling, Chris sat up and stared at the brightening sky beyond her large window. Suddenly a sharp pain exploded in her head and she felt sick. Jumping out of bed, Chris ran to the bathroom and began to throw up whatever was in her stomach. "Chris?!" Amethyst exclaimed worriedly as she ran over to her friend. "Dammit! What the hell happened?!" She gasped as her stomach clenched in pain. "You're really burning up Chris! Did you use your bankai?" Amethyst asked as she merely felt her friend's arm, feeling her fiery hot skin.

"No, but... Shit! I used my Resurrección yesterday! But this only happened with my bankai before." Chris replied as she gagged painfully once more. "With all the stress of becoming a wizard professor, that ministry woman is adding to it! With all the spirit energy you've used the last few weeks it's probably starting to catch up to you." Amethyst deducted and noticed something very vital to Chris' health concerning her inner hollow missing.

"Your bracelets gone!" She screamed, horrified. Chris glanced at her wrist and saw that her spirit energy blocking bracelet was indeed gone. "Damn that witch!" She growled angrily before hauling herself up and flushing the toilet, rinsed her mouth, and slowly dragged herself back to bed, Amethyst handing her her phone.

~Ed's Room~

Ed jolted awake as his phone rang loudly. Recognizing the ringtone he quickly picked it up. "Chris? What's the matter?" He asked sleepily. "Ed, I'm sorry, but you'll have to deal with the class on your own for a while. I'm sick." Chris replied tiredly. Ed blinked awake and tried to comprehend what he had just heard. If Chris had suddenly gotten sick out of the blue then-"What happened to your bracelet?" He demanded worriedly as struggled to get dressed.

"It's gone. It might've disappeared sometime last night, but I didn't notice until I woke. Last time I just needed an extra powerful charm from Kisuke, but without the bracelet as a whole, they won't work as-" Chris cut herself off and Ed heard faint footsteps and yells from Amethyst, then gagging, and what sounded like water. "-Chris! There's blood now!" Ed froze when he heard the mod soul screaming frantically as the phone clattered loudly to the floor.

Running out of his room, Ed quickly rushed inside Chris' room when her portrait door swung open, stopping in shock at what he saw. Chris, who he saw as an older sister, was coughing up blood in the bathroom, slowly becoming pale as she gagged, Amethyst crying into her leg. Snapping his phone shut, Ed picked up Chris' phone and ended the call before dialing Kisuke's number. "Hello?" Kisuke answered cheerfully as voices were heard in the background. 'Their friends must be there.' He thought before answering.

"Hey, Kisuke, it's Ed. We have a bit of a situation." He heard Kisuke excuse himself immediately from the group and go into a separate room. "What happened." He demanded seriously, quiet enough that the others wouldn't hear him. "The ministry witch stole Chris' bracelet during our school wide spar yesterday. Are you able to send someone by any chance to help watch her while Amethyst and I get it back?" Ed explained as he helped Chris back to her bed, having finished rinsing her mouth of blood and setting her down.

"I do, actually. I'll send him in a few minutes. If anyone asks, he's one of her close friends and doctor. I'll send him with the necessary medicine for these situations, in the meantime, confront that witch! The longer she has the bracelet the more dangerous it becomes for everyone and Chris." With a quick goodbye, Kisuke left to inform his "doctor" about the situation. Ed waited and gathered Chris' notes and looked through them, mentally planning Umbridge's death.

Glancing at the clock he noticed he had at least ten minutes before the staff started looking for them. A glowing door appeared behind Ed, causing him to turn around and take a fighting stance in case it was an enemy. The door opened to reveal a teenage boy around Chris' age wearing a white suit with a blue tie and had the left side of his bangs held back by his glasses. He had a white messenger bag slung over his shoulder and froze when he saw them.

He had a slightly panicked look in his eyes and immediately rushed over, pulling out two medicine bottles with Chris' name and specific details about the medicine. "I take it you're Uryū Ishida? Chris told me a lot about your guys' adventures." Ed started and relaxed as he saw Uryū nod. "I am. Kisuke explained a bit about what happened. I'd like to get to know you better later, but I was told that you two have a class to teach. I'll help while I can." Uryū said as he spoke to Ed before turning back to Chris. Amethyst was hanging off Ed's shoulder crying and staring at the floor.

"I have to inform the headmaster that Chris won't be in class for awhile. I'll send you two some food. And if someone dressed entirely in pink and looks like a toad tries to get in, the picture of Sirēne Harpy will tell you." Ed replied as he moved to leave, Amethyst on his shoulder, and stopped. Turning back to Uryū, he pointed at the laptop next to him. "If you need to check some surveillance or any backgrounds, Chris placed a few mirrors she enchanted in some classrooms, preferably in the defense class, as the students are starting to rebel against her unnoticed." Ed explained before he left with a small wave and headed in the direction of the Great Hall.
