Chapter 13.5
(Unknown)
The man left the small room. His master wanted this done and he would do whatever his Lord commanded. If going to the girl would please his Lord the girl would be found. Not that he wanted the girl back or harmed, just watched. The team that had been created had its own orders. He was just there to watch. Unlike his master's other servants they carried no true power of their own. He wasn't sure they could be considered living since they had no will of their own.
"Sensei, we are leaving now." The female puppet said.
"Yes, we've been cleared to go to Konohagakure no Sato to participate in the Chunin exams." The man stated.
"We know that." One of the twin puppets said.
"So shall we?" The other said.
"Yes, let's go."
He led them away. The miko would not see any of his master's plans coming. She would be broken once and for all. Her little village would be gone in the blink of an eye and she would bear witness to every death and all the destruction. Then his master would rule this world. No one hear would be able to oppose them. Finally, the last victory would belong to his master. It would be a glorious day and it would begin with the downfall of the Leaf. That would be the first domino to fall.

Snow fell through the open door way of the shrine. She wasn't cold, she never got cold. If anything, after it was all over she hardly felt anything. The love that once meant everything to her felt empty now that it was hers. Now the thing she longed for was probably dead. That didn't stop her, she needed answers. The dusty old scrolls the monks had provided offered her nothing. Any answers were gone the day they vanished.
"Come on, there is nothing that can be done." A gentle voice whispered. "You need to rest."
"I can't, you know that." She replied.
"Perhaps I can help." Another man said coming to the shrine door.
