Warning!: Super crappy fighting scene(s) alert! Sorry I really suck at those! You have been warned..

Zelda's P.O.V

"Lets go again" I sighed, wiping of the sweat droplets off my forehead. I was garbed in my Sheikah skin tight suit. It was about sunrise and we've been up since a little before dawn, training.

Link was currently laying on the ground exhausted, "Come on Link, your not going to get better like that" I rolled my eyes as he groaned slowly getting to his feet.

"But I'm tired! We've been up before dawn!" he wined like a little kid.

"Yeah, which was an hour ago, that's nothing! You think this is hard? You should have seen Impa teach" I remembered all the hard and tiring exercises we had to do, before Anju and I both got our butts handed to us by Impa.

"Yeah like you had to lift a finger" he grumbled.

"You know what? You talk too much" I growled raising my sword, and charging at him. Slightly off guard, he barely sidestepped in time. I remembered what The Lone Wanderer told me, 'Let the sword work with you, not the other way around'

Relaxing a bit, I backflipped about five feet away from Link and waited. Link confused, but charged anyway started lashing out at me. I skillfully dodged all of them, our blades met and we stared at each other.

"Not bad right Princess?" he grunted trying to push me back

I laughed, "Princess? What kind of nickname is that?"

"I think it suits you" he smirked as I scowled, pushing him back. Nothing else could be heard other than our swords clashing together. Link kept his (a bit sloppy) advances, while I continued to counter them, that is until my back was pressed against a tree (That we both failed to see until now)

"Looks like I win Princess" he smirked triumphantly while I scanned my surroundings for a way of escape. He didn't notice my face light up with an idea, because he was a little busy gloating.

"Fine you win, looks like there's no escape.." I trailed off, smiling mischievously, "Unless..I do this!" I used 'Farore's Wind' and landed up in the tree. I looked down to see him looking around frantically, Ha! That's what you get for underestimating a girl! I thought.

"Damn it! Where'd she go" he groaned, clearly frustrated. He slowly took a step over, trying to spot me, who was right above him, enjoying the anger and confusion in his eyes. Ooh, that gives me an idea.

I watched him stop, Perfect, I grinned before dropping down, right on top of him. "Hello Link, fancy seeing you here!" I had my sword pointed right under his chin.

"That was not fair" he grimaced, before he lifted his sword and knocked my sword away from his chin and pushed me off of him. I quickly stood up as he charged at me, I ducked as he swiped at my head.

I quickly blocked as his sword came down, seeing as he was stronger than I was, he knocked my sword out of my hands. He grinned at me, seeing that I was disarmed and tried to strike me again but I rolled out of the way just in time.

Ducking under another attack, I saw my chance and swiped at his legs causing him to fall. Before he could do anything I seized the sword out of his hands before pinning him down.

"Now that wasn't so bad, now was it?" I asked, cocking my head to the side. He narrowed his eyes at me but didn't say anything. I shook my head, well were not going to be getting along anytime soon, I sighed, getting off of him and offering my hand to which he shrugged off and got up by himself.

"Whatever" he mumbled, stalking off to the house, leaving me to clean up. I glanced at the sun and saw that it was at least noon. I walked back to the house after picking up our swords and storing them away.

I found Link on the couch sleeping, Aw, he looks so peaceful. I smiled, deciding that it would be best to make brunch (because we barely ate before training) and a lunch (for Link later while I'm at work)

I set out eggs, toast, various jams and jellies (I don't really know what Link likes to eat..) milk and juice and made muffins cinnamon rolls, doughnuts and crepes (just to mix things up)

I'm pretty sure that's way over what a normal person eats, but now we'll have something for tomorrow! Again since I don't know what Link likes I made a small variation of food and I think Link would enjoy some dessert being the kid he acts like.

I made (hopefully he can work an oven to heat the food up, maybe I should make instructions just in case..) soup, a couple different sandwiches, rice (fried too) and cuckoo. For dessert I made brownies, cookies, and cupcakes with ice cream in the freezer, he likely won't finish everything, so I made a note to tell him to store it for tomorrow.

I ate my brunch by myself seeing that Link was out cold. I laughed, who knew that little lesson would take so much out of him? If Impa was here, she'd make him run ten miles before sparring which would last a minute if he was lucky..

"What are you laughing at?" Link asked groggily, I giggled, his usually messy hair was even worse, his eyes were still half closed lazily and he had a little bit of drool on his mouth.

"Well, I could name a couple.. But since I've got to go soon, I'll just show you" I got up from my seat and a mirror sat where I once was as I walked up stairs to change into my uniform, I called over my shoulder, "Oh, I made brunch, didn't know what you liked so there's quite a lot, I also made lunch with desserts for you later. Please put the leftovers away, oh and try not to burn the house down while I'm away"

"I'm off to work, feel free to come by I guess" I shrugged my shoulders at the last part, I'm not sure he'd come anyways but he's always around somewhere, besides what can he do around here all day?

"When do you get back?" he stopped shoving food into his face long enough for him to ask.

"At eight, I work the afternoon shifts, three to eight" he nodded his head, "Alright now I have to go, ciao for now!" I waved and walked out the door, double checking to make sure I had the key.

"Hey Amy!" I greeted cheerfully, walking over to give her a warm hug.

"Zelda! Nice to see you too" she chuckled, returning the hug, "Oh, I'm not sure if you know this since you started yesterday, but we'll be closed next week" my confusion must have shown because she continued, "Don't tell me you forgot dear? It's our twentiet annual Goddesses Week!" (A/N I apologiz. For the crappy name, ran out ideas for names, not that I was good at them anyways)

"Oh yeah! I remember Impa took me to the tenth annual one!" I smiled, "I can't believe I forgot about it! Anju and I had so much fun!"

"Ok, Zellie enough talking, it's time to get to work!" she playfully pushed me to the counter where there were dozens of little kids drooling all over the options and couples and friends at tables chatting away.

"Hey Zel!" a voice came from behind me, I smiled as I turned around

"Hey Jess, Chloe and Alexia! How's it going?" I asked as we came into a group hug.

"We're alright" they chorused before we all exchanged glances and bursted out laughing.

"Hey! I'd like my ice cream now!" we turned to see an adorable looking little boy, glaring up at us.

"Aww, OK sweetie-" Chloe started to say before she was cut off by the little boy.

"My name is Hunter, not sweetie lady! And I want my ice cream!" he stuck his tongue out at her.

"Hey, that's a li-" Alexa began, frowning as Hunter once again cut her off.

"Can you move any faster, old lady? I'm not getting any younger!" he taunted, I could tell that my friends were getting angry, so I decided to step in.

"OK Hunter tell ya what. If you stop being such a brat I'll make you a hot fudge sundae. How does that sound?" I put on my best smile, and my friends let out a sigh of relief when they saw him smile.

"OK! Come on!" he grabbed my hand and dragged me over to the counter. "Thanks!" he grabbed the dessert and started eating the sweet treat.

"No prob kiddo" I gave him a pat on the head before returning to my group of friends, "So, what'd I miss?" I asked casually.

"Wow Zel, who knew you were so good with kids?" Jessica asked once I arrived, I shrugged, "Ok, so we were talking about the twentieth annual Goddesses Week! Your going right?"

"Yeah! Isn't there like a dance one of the days?" I smiled slyly as I glanced at them and over to the boys that were on the other side of the shop.

"Oh, um yeah but that's like the second to last day" Alexia explained while the others fidgeted nervously with small amounts of blush on their faces.

"Mm hmm and who are you guys going with?" I continued as they all remained silent, "Oh, come on! I'm not blind! I know that Alexia likes Lucas, Chloe likes Ben and Jessica likes Jacob!" I laughed as they tried frantically to shush me, causing people to give us weird looks.

"Shush! Do you want them to hear you!?" Chloe asked hysterically. Still red in the face, as were the others.

"Well I don't think it matters since they like you back" I replied airily.

"Yeah right, I doubt that, they probably think of us as sisters they've never had" Jessica scoffed, "Besides if you hadn't notice there are a lot of prettier girls that hit on them, what are the chances they'll notice us?" the others nodded along solemnly.

"You know what? Theres always going to be girls that are prettier than you, you just have to find a guy that doesn't care. You know what they say beauty is only skin deep, they're probably not as awesome as they look" I reassured them.

"Thanks Zel" I saw that their once solemn faces were now bright and hopeful, You can thank me after I get you couples together, I though but told them it was nothing anyway. "We'd better get back to work now" and we all departed heading in different directions.

I made a beeline for one of the boys deciding it was better to go with the divide and conquer thing. I saw that Ben was alone for the moment and went straight for him. "Hey Ben! How's it going? Need a hand there?" I asked as I noticed that he was struggling with an elderly couple and their grand kids.

"Zelda! Yes please!" he pleaded, I took the hint and swiftly came in.

"Hi! Welcome to Crystal Cove! What would you guys like?" I gave them a sweet smile before jotting down their order; two of today's special, one coffee, one cookies and cream, and one banana split, "OK, I'll be right back with your orders for now your grand kids can have these" I gave the kids a coloring pad with crayons.

"Thanks Zel, I was being mauled out there" he sighed.

"OK, I saved your arse, now I'd like to ask a couple of questions" I went straight to the point, seeing as I'm supposed to get them to ask the girls out by next week.

"Um OK, shoot" we walked back to the work station and got working on the order while talking.

"OK, so lets get straight to the point, I know you like Chloe, don't deny it, I've seen the way you look at her." I gave him a knowing smile, when he finally caved.

"Oh alright you caught me. Your not going to tell her are you? She doesn't know right?" I saw the panic and a little bit of hope swirl around in his brown orbs. I gave him a reassuring smile and shook my head.

"Don't worry, she doesn't know, but that's where I step in! I'm going to help you guys work up the courage to ask her to the dance at the Goddesses Week festival!"

"I don't know.. Do you think I should?"

"Definitely! Now if you'll excuse, I have more business to attended too. Good luck with that family!" I chuckled as he paled slightly, glancing over to the family. One down, two to go, I smirked.

I spotted Lucas cleaning up someone's spilled ice cream while the person, (a little girl no older than four) began to cry, thinking quickly, I saw that she was eating a cookie dough ice cream, and grabbed one before heading over.

"Here you go sweetie" I handed her the ice cream and smiled at her now beaming face.

"Thank you!" she gave me a big hug before skipping back to her mother who mouthed her 'Thank You' I nodded, turning to Lucas.

"Care to explain?" I gave him a questioning look and he explained how he was cleaning and he accidentally knocked into her and the ice cream fell, that's when she started crying while he grabbed a mob trying to clean it quickly and offering to get another one when I showed up. "Little kids and their ice cream" I sighed, laughing as I remembered Hunter.

"So what's up? I doubt you came over just to help me" I put on a fake hurt expression, "Not going to work Zel, but nice try" he laughed as I pouted.

"Ok, fine so I wasn't only coming over to help, I was actually coming over to talk to you about something. One sec" I left to take someone's order of a caramel, fudge sundae, returning a minute later.

"Sure, what did you want to talk about?"

"I know you like Alexia, no don't even try to deny it" I cut him off as he opened his mouth to object. "And I'm going to help you ask her out to the Goddesses Week dance at the festival"

"Really? Thanks Zelda" I smiled, two down one more to go! I left Lucas to himself, while I went to find Jacob.

"Jacob!" I called after him as he went out the back.

"Yeah?"

"OK, before you leave I just wanted to tell you that I know you like Jessica, and that I'm going to help you out with it so you can ask her out to the Goddesses Week dance at the festival" I took a deep breath after saying all that.

"Why exactly are you doing this?" he asked, leaning on the door, arms crossed in front of his chest, his reaction should have thrown me off, but I could see past his act.

"Because I know you like each other and everyone deserves happiness, is there another reason I should have?" I returned his gesture, staring him down challengingly.

He sighed after a minute of our stare-off, "Whatever" he muttered, turning and leaving me alone. Well that was easy, I thought cheerfully, Now we definitely need to hang out later..

I returned back to the counter, taking orders and making ice cream. "Hi! Welcome to Crystal Cove! How may I help you?" I asked not looking up until a familiar voice rang out.

"I'd like some dinner and mint chocolate ice cream to go"

"Link!" I gasped, looking into his cornflower blue eyes. "What are you doing here? Oh and that'll be $1.47" I held his ice cream in one hand, while I extended my other hand.

"I was bored, so I decided to come drop by, that and I was getting hungry, plus it's almost time for your shift to end" he gave me two dollars and I returned his change, and his ice cream. Glancing at the clock I saw that he was right, He came to pick me up?

"Oh! Your right, for once" I muttered the last part under my breath, though I saw he caught it because he sent me a nasty glare. Rolling my eyes at him, I called over to my boss and said my goodbyes to my co-workers.

"You shouldn't be eating ice cream right now.." I chided as we left Crystal Cove, with me leading the way.

"Yeah, yeah, it'll spoil my dinner, whatever mom" I scowled, He won't be smirking for long

"Actually other than that, we're continuing with our training. So don't start throwing up all that ice cream, cause I'm not cleaning it up" now it was my turn to smile as I watched his smirk slid off his face.

"Training? But we've already trained for today!"

"Yes, but today's not over" remembering that Impa had said those same words. And with that I turned and walked in, "Get ready we're starting in five" I called over my shoulder, "Oh and don't bother trying to get out of it! Or else"

I left to go to my room and changed out of my uniform and back into my skin tight Sheikah suit, pulled my hair into a long braid and put my cowl over my mouth, making sure that only my ruby red eyes shown.

Feeling too lazy, I teleported downstairs,"Hey Link? You ready yet?" I called, looking everywhere. Better not be hiding, I thought, walking out of the house and into our spacious backyard.

Where would he be? I climbed up the tree to get a better view and saw that Link wasn't out here yet. Glancing back at the house I saw that he was in his room, napping. I frowned, also seeing that the door was locked.

I smiled devilishly, Hm, he doesn't know me very well.. I teleported into his room quietly. "Aw, he looks so peaceful sleeping" I fawned, than scowled, "I'll have to do something about it"

I left him and went into the bathroom, grabbing a cup and filling it will cold water, I froze some of it to make ice, carrying the icy water over to where he slept on his bed. I stepped back slightly and dumped the water over his sleeping form.

His eyes snapped open and he jumped like a couple of feet high in the air, and yelping like a little girl. Pure shock written all over his face, as he fell onto the ground looking alarmed and searching for the culprit.

I watched the whole scene all the while trying not to laugh, but I couldn't help it when his eyes landed on me, and the shock from earlier turned into disbelief. "Zelda? What the hell was that for!?"

"You looked too peaceful sleeping and I told you that we were going to train" I rolled my eyes at him, Seriously was it that hard to remember? "Come on, we need to get you into shape, (Though he was already in shape, judging by his body.. But I'd slit my own throat before telling him that, his head was big enough) Oh and always be alert, never know when or what might get ya" I added a playful wink and teleported behind him, "You owe me five laps around the backyard" before he could react, I pulled out a deku nut and was out of there in a flash.

"Now, that wasn't so bad, was it?" I asked once he was done running.

He scowled, "Easy for you to say, Princess. I'm going back inside, find yourself another dummy" I was about to reply, but I saw that he was already inside.

Link's P.O.V

I stormed back into the house, sore and sweaty. "Wasn't so hard?" I mocked, "Well than why didn't she do it too?" I collapsed onto the couch for a minute or two, relishing the peacefulness.

I almost fell asleep too, until I heard thudding and what I think were horses running. Curious, I slowly got up and made my way over to the door, outside I saw Zelda on Rosemarie and another person I didn't recognize on darker horse.

They both had bows and arrows, so I guessed that they were doing horseback archery, talking and laughing at the same time. Gee, when I told her to get another dummy, I didn't actually expect her to find one!

I watched a little more before walking over to them just as they were cleaning up. As I was almost there I saw him (Now that I was close enough, I could interpret that it was a guy) hand her something, before throwing a deku nut down and vanishing.

I figured that he must have been a Sheikah, or was trained in the Sheikah way. "Oh! Hey Link, I thought you were inside" she looked a little surprised at seeing me out here.

"I was until I heard all the noise you were making out here"

"Oh, sorry" she muttered, returning to cleaning up, "So are you here to train..?"

"Actually I am" I replied, surprising myself a little too.

"Really?" she rose a skeptical eyebrow, as if she could see that I was uncertain. I gave her a firm nod, "Ok, any preferences? Combat, Sword, Archery?"

"Yes, can I try what you were just doing?" If they could do it, how hard could it actually be?

"Horseback Archery? Are you sure? Have you even used a bow before?"

"Well, not exactly, but if you and that guy could do it so can I"

"I don't know Link, it's not as easy as it looks"

"Come on! It can't be that hard if you can do it! You know what? I bet I can beat you at it" If there's two things I learned about Zelda it's that one, she hates being underestimated and two she doesn't back out of a challenge of any kind.

"Your on Hero" an amused sparkle in her eyes, "But don't come crying when I own you" we walked over to the stables where Epona and Rosemarie were at, after saddling them up, Zelda handed me a bow and ten arrows.

"Ok, so this is how it goes, we get ten shots -We'll use the same targets I just used- and whoever gets the most points win. No stopping, or slowing down, and if you don't shoot a target, than you don't get that point, no do overs. It's all or nothing!"

With identical determined looks, they hopped onto their respective horses and started their horses.

"Hey! Do you even know how to use a bow?" I faintly heard Zelda ask over the roaring wind that was rushing around us.

"Uh, not exactly.." I doubt she even heard me, but I was sure I could figure it out. Up ahead I saw the first target and quickly took out my bow and an arrow. An arrow whizzed through the air hitting the center neatly.

I turned my head over to Zelda, who looked triumphant, I took her lead and tried to do it just like she did, but I couldn't keep the arrow straight. I could see Zelda trying not to laugh as I fumbled with the arrow.

I finally pulled the arrow back towards my cheek (which was red from embarrassment) and aimed, praying a little that it would hit the center, I released and watched it slice through the air hitting the.. Seven

I pouted, when Zelda gave me a pity look, before preparing for the next target. As we flew by target after target (Thankfully I got better) Zelda got between eight to ten points, because the wind would knock it off course sometimes, while I got between seven to nine points.

Zelda ended up with a total of eighty-seven, and I ended up with a sixty-nine. "Not bad for your first time Hero" Zelda commented, as we were cleaning up.

"Thanks. You did well too Princess"

She gasped, "Oh, what's this? A praise from the almighty Hero Link?" she teased, smiling all the while.

"I was going easy on you" I put on a fake arrogant air and raised my chin high, "No one can beat me, or my charmingly good looks" I winked And she rolled her eyes at me, though I spotted a little bit of color in her cheeks.

"Well Hero, as charming as your manly stink is, I suggest you take a shower"

"I think I'll keep it" I smirked when Zelda's face twisted into disgust with a glint of amusement flickering in her ruby red irises -She's still in her Sheikah garb- . "You want a hug?" I advanced on her with my arms wide open, as I watched her eyes widen slightly and she started running from me. "Hey! Where you going? I want my hug!"

"No! Get away from me!" Zelda squealed as I started catching up to her, "Link, Link! I'm warning you! No, stop it!" when I caught up to her, I took her in my arms and swung her, "Link put me down!"

"Alright Princess if you say so.." Zelda noticed the tone in my voice and saw that, since she was up there and I was pretty talshe's he was a little higher off the ground than she wanted to be.

""Link! Just set me down!" once set down, we walked back into the house, her occasionally glaring at me. "Oh! Yeah before I forget, we have our first riddle!" handing me a slip of paper -I guessed that was where the riddle was- and I opened it, reading out loud.

Run, though I have no legs to be seen. I posses no heat, yet I do have steam. I have no voice to let words out, but from far away you can still hear me shout.

What am I?

Hey! Sorry I ended the chapter with a cliff hanger, but I didn't know what else to write. I Hope you still liked the chapter! And the little tinny ZeLink moment. Any guesses on the riddle? Shout out to the ones that figure it out! Or come close, I'll update as soon as I can so stay with me! Ok, thanks for reading, please review!
