"Oh Metal Man! Come out! Come out!" yelled a young impish youth.
Wind ruffled his shimmering hair as he flew over the oblivious pedestrians that scampered beneath him, "Helloooo? Metal Man?" the boy asked as he poked his head around a construction sight, bright emerald eyes glowing with playful mirth, "Nope. Not here."
At Fifth Avenue the youth paused in his searching, and landed on the street intersections main telephone pole. His pale bare feet nimbly strolled along the streetlight's wires with the grace of a professional tight ropewalker, "Hey look Metal Man! I'm over here freezing street lamps!"
Which indeed the youth was; along with the telephone wires, the light stands, and the switch board box. Located in the signal light that controlled the roads below current zooming traffic that found itself coming to an abrupt and unexpected halt.
Ignoring the sudden sound of furious car horns blaring, and the loud bellowing of many a furious driver below him the youth jumped into the air and flew off towards the "Giant Green Lady." Which he also knew to be called, "The Statue of Liberty," thinking that perhaps "Metal Man" would be there. After all they were both metallic and so the youth found himself standing on the "Green Lady's Crown" shouting, "MEETAAAALLL MAAAAN?!"
As nothing save silence greeted the youth in his ongoing "hunt" for the mysterious man named "Tony", he glanced at the "Torch" of the "Green Lady" having an impromptu moment of brilliance!
"I know," said the youth a terribly wicked grin lighting up the boy's elfin face!
Inside of the Statue of Liberty about fifteen minutes later tourists were finding that their long awaited chance to get a beautiful view of the city from inside of the famous monument had become mute. This was largely due to the now extremely thick layers of ice over all of the monuments windows. One man named, Charlie who incidentally had been present during the Empire's State Buildings Snow Man Fiasco" fourteen days previously, couldn't help but mutter, "Not again."
While outside of the Statue of Liberty, tourists were finding their jaws dropping in horrified amusement. Undecided on which as they gazed at the famous American Icon's sudden unexplained alteration.
A little girl named Pamela who was spending a joyful day with grandma, who had also oddly enough been present during the "Snow Man Fiasco" with her parents a few days prior. Could be heard shouting amongst one tour group, "Nana! Nana! Look! Nana! Take a picture! Look up there! It's an ice-cream cone!"
Unaware of how he had made an island photographer ecstatically rich, and thrilled hundreds of visitors who were taking home priceless pictures of the "Statue of Liberty holding a Snow Cone," the youth responsible sat on top of the ball of snow, held by Lady Liberty, sullenly unseen, sighing irritably.
Metal Man hadn't shown up, but a flummoxed Mayor Gibbs accompanied by some red headed lady in black had.
The youth stared at the two arrivals with bemusement.
"Hmmm…I thought for sure this would work. Where is he?" contemplated the boy as he flew down to where the ranting Mayor and Lady stood.
"WHAT IS THIS! I WASN'T ELECTED FOR THIS! FIRST ALIENS AND NOW! NOW WHAT!? INVADING YETTI'S! …."shouted Mayor Gibbs who apparently since the youth had seen him last. Had graduated from imitating mad 'Muppets' to 'angry two year olds'.
The youth chuckled at the bewildered Mayor as the mental image of his words roamed about the youth's head. He could see the new yeti named Phil wearing a "Darth Vader" mask entirely too well.
"Yes. Sir. It appears to just be a snow ball sir," said the woman decked in black, she looked like some sort of police officer to the youth as he floated a little over her head. "Yes. Sir. Affirmative. Witnesses say it happened within the last hour," she continued saying into a small device in her ear that Jack assumed was some new type of cell phone.
"Cool," he muttered to himself, as he stared at the device.
"No. Sir. There doesn't appear to be anything else but the giant ball of ice. I'm not really detecting any form of hostility, (pause) it's just sitting there sir," said the red headed woman a slight note of exasperation tingeing her otherwise calm tone.
Curious the youth floated down so that he was eye level with the "policewoman". Getting close enough so that his face was only a foot away from hers, he observed her tight facial expressions, and found her giving off irritation and sadness.
The youth disliked sadness. Sadness was painful.
So he did what he always did to those he found sad. He lifted his hand, smiling gently, and with the barest, briefest touch of his "other" magic, he quickly poked her nose.
Sparks of blue light glittered around the woman's face and for one split moment he saw her ivy green eyes widen in happy shock. As if she had seen him, but knowing she probably hadn't, and hearing her sneeze the youth instead resumed his search for the man who had.
Flying back to the city.

….
…...Natasha Romanoff stared and stared in the direction away from the Statue of Liberty, her red hair gently being brushed by the cold island's windy breeze. She could hear Mayor Gibbs in the background yelling at her fellow agents that had arrived. She heard her partner for the day Maria Hill trying to calm him down, but found that all she wanted to do was tune the rest of the world out for a moment. A feeling that normally went against her natural instincts.
She felt her heart pounding, as she slowly allowed herself to breathe.
For the past fourteen days she had been terribly worried about Tony. He had like all of her teammates somehow passed underneath her cold barriers and become something like a pesky annoying younger brother to her. Over the past six months and the last few days she really had begun to feel like she had a family of friends for the first time in her long life.
Causing her to care all the more over Tony's obsession with some imaginary kid he claimed was the cause of all this wintry weather trouble. His commitment and determination to the nonsensical idea frightening her more then she wanted to admit.
She'd witnessed enough madness in her life.
Yet here she was at another strange snow related incident, her heart pounding like crazy. Wondering if she was going mad herself as she quietly registered in her mind that for just a second, no, not even that.
She had seen something.
Something impossible.
Something that had to be her mind playing tricks on her.
Something that just couldn't be.
Something that made her reflect on Tony's claim, much more seriously then before. Natasha clutched her hand, a gesture she hadn't done in years as she closed her eyes.
Her observation skills were known to be uncanny.
She began analyzing her situation.
She was standing on Liberty Isle. Mayor Gibbs and Agent Hill were arguing behind her. There was another weather problem that needed to be solved, and for the briefest of moments, she had seen someone's face.
A pale child's face, only inches away from her own.
That looked far too familiar and yet entirely foreign.
A face that had given, she somehow felt inexplicably comfort, of a sort.
Vanishing almost as fast as it had appeared.
She opened her eyes to see soft snowflakes falling.
There was absolutely no one in front of her. There was no child with bright emerald eyes and a friendly little smirk anywhere in sight. There was only the bay area of New York, with a rising tide.
"Miss Romanoff! Miss Romanoff!" shouted Mayor Gibbs.
Natasha shook her head, mentally telling herself to snap out of it. She then turned around to face the fuming Mayor when her eyes drifted to the Statue of Liberty holding a giant snow cone.
Her mind replaying Tony's words from the last meeting, "I've been thinking it over the last few days and I'm positive the whole Snow Man thing was really just a cry for attention, seeing how young he is? Or I think he is?"
Natasha frowned.
A snowman and now a snow cone? Both had definitely been done deliberately. That much was fact but why?
Her frown increased. Both were also as of yet relatively harmless.
She glanced at some of the lingering tourists that police and agents hadn't been able to remove yet, all grinning happily, excitedly pointing at the Monument. Children amongst the tourists' faces filled with innocent smiles of joy.
'It can't be?' she thought incredulously, when she heard Fury calling again via her communicator.
Tony's words throbbing in her brain, "I have no idea what kind of a kid, but he's definitely a kid!" Bright emerald eyes flashed across her mind once more, as she sifted through her thoughts.
"No way, now I'm starting to hallucinate too," she whispered before she picked up Fury's call, "Sir? Another anomaly of snow at the Metropolitan Museum? I'm on it."

Flying away from his last masterpiece the youth known as Jack Frost or Jokul Frosti continued his search through the city!
Finally someone could see him! Someone who wasn't an Immortal Guardian! Someone new after 300 years could talk to him! Could hang out with him! Could most importantly pay attention to him!
The only problem was that Jack Frost couldn't find him.
He had tried just about everywhere he could think of. He had even tried creating a few things just to get "Metal Man" to come out, like giving the Statue of Liberty a snow cone, or the giant crystal snow flake he had left on top of that Art Place.
Despite his best efforts however "Metal Man" still hadn't appeared!
Jack Frost decided that he would head straight for where they had met. The tall building still held Jack's introductory masterpiece but upon critical artistic inspection Jack found that his Snowman was beginning to slouch. This irked Jack a bit, so he went ahead and fixed it, before zooming off to the next highest building in the city.
Being in a creative mood after having made things all day, Jack Frost couldn't help but narrow his eyes in aesthetic disgust at the ugly tower before him. "Would you look at this?" Jack spoke aloud as he balanced on another buildings satellite dish, "It kinda looks like a giraffe? A building mishmash of a giraffe."
He flew around the strange looking tower for a bit wondering over the gigantic letter A that stood on it's one side and decided that perhaps Metal Man could wait.
Jokul Frosti was curious, which meant' it was time to explore!
With the delight of discovery Jack slowly drifted closer to the building and noticed right away through the multitude of windows that it was occupied by many funny looking people who all wore identical clothes with gun holsters on their hips. His emerald eyes sparkled with innocent wonder. Now he was very curious, "What is this place? Some kind of military building?"
Upon flying back to the top of the A tower Jack found a door that seemed to lead inside. He smirked impishly at his luck. The higher the building the more no one expected a guest via the roof. He chuckled a bit as he found the door unlocked, and crept cautiously inside.
Unaware of a tiny device located in the door's mainframe that went from having a green light to a red one upon his entry.
(((((Scene Change -Line Break)))))))))))))
Tony Stark was tired. After the exhausting first portion of his day with Dr. Fingersin and Pepper all he honestly wanted to do at this point was stay seated on the park bench beneath his tush indefinitely and create new mathematical algorithms in his head.
That was it.
Instead he found himself reviewing everything he had done mentally to try and find "The Lost Boy" within the past fourteen days. He leaned his head back slightly, as his arms rested over the top of the park bench's back. He briefly glanced at Pepper who was standing by a vending machine getting them both a pair of New York's finest hotdogs. He let out a small cold breathe of air.
The first thing he had done, over the past few days he reflected, was an obvious attempt to bring any and all recorded footage from Jarvis in connection to "Jack" from the suits internal cameras and all nearby footage including outside sources, foreword. This had included both legal camera's he had been allowed to set up in the city through his connections to Shield and some…..more well much more less 'legal' "private" sources like the local convenient stores window cameras. Maybe even a possible cell phone satellite image system or two. Which despite having taken an entire afternoon for him to hack into, and supposedly having a higher quality of tech, had ultimately and much to his aggravation shown the same impossible outcome that the low tech cell had. Which was to sum it up nothing.
Absolutely zip.
Zero.
No proof.
No visual evidence.
A photo of Bigfoot would have been easier to get!
Plenty of pictures of the Snow Man on top of the Empire State Building, but not even so much as a blur of "Jack"! The magical 'boy who lived' to give Iron Man a never-ending headache.
He could still remember his initial horror of watching footage of himself flying over the city like mad but whether it was because it was bad imaging or what, Tony didn't know, but "Jack" never appeared.
Even more confusing was the fact that all the ice that Jack tended to create with just his mere presence, (Tony finally deducted) was visual but the boy wasn't.
So after having a bit of a panic attack Tony remembered how he had decided to try to go about things pragmatically. Therefore the second thing Tony did was this, using his own high end equipment he had done literally everything he could to turn all footage of the area he could gather into an upgraded version that made the best HD T.V. look like a 1950's set.
Despite the upgrade all visuals still showed plenty of ice and squat on Peter Pan.
No Jack anywhere.
Hilarious and rather unflattering pictures of Iron Man.
But no Jack.
A great shot of Tony stuck in a build board, that Pepper wanted framed.
Still no Jack.
That was when Tony had really started to question his own sanity privately. However, try as he might he just couldn't shake thought's of the kid from his own head. The boy's words, "You can see me?" becoming like some sick mantra, as he kept recalling that terrified and overjoyed expression the kid had worn.
The kid's tears high lighting the memory.
It had reminded Tony of himself, truthfully. Of how much he had wanted to be "seen" as a child, by someone namely his distant father, Howard Stark.
Which was strongly why Tony couldn't let the idea go deep down. The kid's dramatic reaction only added more fuel to the fire.
There was also the hard fact that the kid had pretty much single-handily as far as Tony could surmise frozen the entire Big Apple. If the kid was doing it just for hijinks and kicks, Tony didn't even want to ruminate over what "Jack" might do ten maybe even twenty years later after being further ignored.
In fact the more Tony thought along those lines the more desperate he became to find the twerp. If somebody didn't do something soon all those Global Warming supporters could very well be right. A giant Ice Age could already be well in the making!
Scratch that the whole planet might become one big ice cube!
On the upside he had distinctly concluded that should that happen at least he would never again need a refrigerator.
Yet never a quitter, after the failure of finding any regular visual evidence of "Jack" he had tried brining up thermal imaging, U-V imaging, inverted, any kind of imaging he could, only to once again get zip.
"Maybe the kid has some weird alien power to block technology?" he had pondered to Dummy once after the U-V had failed to show the boy, "I mean he can fly. Maybe the squirt's kryptonian?"
Then the review meeting had happened.
And he had been told to "kick back and eat bon bons."
Infuriated he had taken it out on Dummy, nearly breaking him, much to his chagrin and Pepper's disappointment.
Still he refused to give up.
The next course of action he took for proof was sound, that too failed him. After that Tony really had done some serious "meditating" as Doctor Fingersin would like to say. That was also around the time when Natasha, Steve and Agent Barton had begun daily interrogations on him. What sour grapes those conversations had been.
It was also during this time when he had been bequeathed his own unwelcome side kick he liked to call, "Agent Blank"
However despite his fellow Avengers growing alarm, excluding perhaps Bruce Banner whohad been rather blaze over the whole ordeal, for the sake of a neutral party.
The conversations that had sprouted with Natasha and "Capsicle" had given him, Tony Stark, a new angle. Both the "Widow and the Capsicle" were the results of "extenuating" circumstances.
Was it possible that the boy was too?
The thought had sickened Tony, and despite his anger at Natasha for the first time since he had met her, he really contemplated the ugly idea of children being experimented on, and the possibility of her having been one.
It had made him lose lunch.
Still ignoring how sickening it was, it was an idea that Tony had followed through on. Much to his own and later Fury's disgust they had found four disturbing scenarios that Shield had immediately taken care of 3 days ago, but for Tony it was yet another dead end.
Not a single country had anything that involved an experiment where a boy with "Jack's" description, was being given powers through unnatural means over ice.
Tony let out a loud sigh as he rubbed his face.
Now presently fourteen days later, since he had seen the kid, sitting on a bench in Central Park, Tony was coming to cope with the hard real conclusion that he was stretched thin on all fronts.
He sighed again in frustration.
Pepper handed him his hotdog as he miserably thought over the fact that he hadn't even found a runaway or lost child in the countries database to match "Jack's" description.
There was absolutely nothing that could be seen through scientific means to show that "Jack" if that even was the kid's real name, existed.
The boy was a complete unknown. No history. No physical evidence save the icy weather. Just nothing. Not even footprints.
'And the kid hadn't even had shoes on! There should at least have been footprints!' Tony's mind grumbled to itself, as he bit into his hotdog.
Tony chewed slowly. His brown eyes watching as Pepper sat down beside him. He wondered momentarily on how she could stand to eat a hotdog with relish and mayo, but it was just another one of her fun quirks that made him smile. She really was amazing. As they sat together eating hot dogs in the chilly winter air, Tony thought about what she had said back in the cab.
He accepted that she was right. In an odd way invading Frost Giants even to him made more sense then "Invisible Green Eyed Boy," but andhe didn't want to admit this. He truly 100% did NOT want to admit this even to his own brain, but there was still one teeny tiny new remaining possibility he had come up with to explain "Jack".
It was the most farfetched thing Tony had ever thought of in his entire life, and that said something.
Yet improbable as it was, it was his last lead. It was also probably insane.
During the last few days he had tried to push to the far corners of his mind Thor's comments at the end of the meeting about his brother Loki being a Frost Giant but the words of his "Alien" friend had invaded his brain.
He had sat there and listened as Thor had described Frost Giants; large, red-eyed, blue skinned warriors who froze a person's skin to the touch, (like "Jack" could). Who could reach dizzying terms as far as height goes, that apparently also were able to manifest snow out of thin air, (like "Jack" could).
Beings that were said to make ice where ever they tread much like a small flying child Tony had just recently become acquainted with.
Was it really just a coincidence? Tony had to wonder.
Listening very intently to the conversation between Thor and "Capsicle" had been both enlightening to Tony and puzzling. It had led to a lot of conclusions and a few very large questions.
One conclusion Iron man found was that Thor despite having a brother who was a Frost Giant, who he had lived with for what was it Thor had said? Two thousand didn't seem to know hardly anything at all about this Icy race, but their basic appearance. Which from Tony's observation Loki had well quite contradicted?
Were all Frost Giants big beefy bald blue things? If so why? How did a race of beings survive such weather? Why were all aliens blue? Abstractly he wondered if there really was an "Avatar Planet out there called Pandora?"
Tony could picture Loki as a Navi, the dark hair helped, but these red-eyed angry icy things? Things were getting interesting but the plot from just Thor's measly facts alone was definitely missing pages.
This led Tony to his second conclusion, where not for the first time he really wondered what this Asgard planet was really like? How do you fight a race of people or another species for that matter for centuries and still know only the bare minimum? Even with one raised from infancy amongst you?
He hated it but he had once been the top seller of weapons for the human race. He knew war and he knew that when it came to fighting, you tried to learn all you could about your enemy, it was one concept he actually shared with, Nicholas Fury director of Shield.
So how could the "Azure?" of Asgard not know more about Frost Giants? The only way Tony could honestly understand the lack of knowledge was that perhaps these beings were to arrogant to learn, or maybe knowing your enemy was just a "human" concept oddly enough?
In the end Tony didn't like to judge but for a supposed "advanced ancient race" something smelled "fishy" there.
During the discussion, Thor had also shared more stories regarding the common unimportant information about some of the Asgardians visits to Earth. Including his brother Loki who had enjoyed thewonderful multiple "camping trips" to the planet at one time nearly over the past five hundred years or so, "give or take".
Tony finished his hotdog and watched a happy couple jog by.
"Visits," he thought to himself, as he heard Pepper answering her cellphone, "I've visited places before. Made a few friends even," he eyes going over another couple putting on ice skates as they neared one of the park's rinks, their hands joining in the distance.
"Oh my god?" he heard Pepper mutter into her phone suddenly, "Say that again?"
'Gods. Visiting Gods,' thought Tony, ignoring Pepper, as he heard Loki's low smooth voice ask in his memories, "Please tell me your going to try to appeal to my humanity?"
'I didn't,' answered Tony thoughtfully. As he pictured Jack's impish grin and sparkling green eyes that all of sudden in his mind evolved into Loki's angry glowing ones. The corners of Loki's mad smile matching a mysterious young boy's playful grin.
'No,' Tony thought frowning, 'but?'
He had gotten a good look at "Reindeer Games", granted he wasn't as skilled as Romanoff with observation, but that had been one good long look. As far as a close encounter could go, that was pretty unforgettably close.
If Tony tried he could still feel the angry "Moose's" breathe on his face, as Loki had hissed before throwing him, "You will all fall before me."
"WHAT!?" exclaimed Pepper into her cell, as she began to fidget on the bench next to him.
"Everything okay Pep?" Tony asked her movements distracting him, as another couple walked by the two of them.
Pepper held her hand up for silence to Tony as she tried to listen to the other person talking to her through her phone. For once Tony indulged her and didn't say anything. His mind too deeply occupied with this inane theory that he just couldn't seem to avoid. Tony found his eyes drifting over to the walking couple.
A tall pale man with dark hair walked beside a happy smiling brunette, their faces filled with joy as she brought one of the man's hands up to her stomach.
'I didn't,' answered Tony again his thoughts turning seriously.
While another picture of Jack came into his mind followed by a close overlapping picture of his past enemy, 'but that doesn't mean some one else didn't? Asgardians can live a hundred years. They were once worshipped as Gods. Some Gods got many a virgin sacrifice back in those days right? I have to ask "Point Break" about this. Loki is a Frost Giant, and some unknown kid with ice powers and who knows what else shows up and just happens to freeze the same city that was invaded? Then flies off? Matching smiles and eye color to boot, oh I don't like this,' Tony reflected in grim self-monologue.
He rubbed his eyes with the palms of his hands, a worried gesture he had since he was little.
'I don't even know how old the squirt is. I could be all-wrong,' Tony internally argued with himself as he rubbed his chin, 'Still Frost Giants….Frost Giants,…Those eyes, too similar. Those oddly emerald colored eyes, just too darn similar. Coincidence right? Right?'
Tony squirmed in his seat, truthfully Tony didn't believe in coincidence. Not really. Not after the cave with Yinsin.
He believed in fact. He believed in science. He believed in man's ability and thus his machines. He believed in this boy, and he didn't like where it was leading him.
He really didn't like it. Still fate was a funny fickle thing he had learned and thanks to Yinsin Tony Stark believed in fate.
So without any other leads the question in his head was like one large red blinking neon sign, 'Was it possible that Jack was somehow related to ''Reindeer Games?''
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
Tony looked down at his watch startled suddenly. He had built it himself with an inlaid connection to Jarvis and the Ironman suit. With his thought process now broken Tony noted that the alarm was going off?
'Now what?' he thought mildly irritated. He really didn't feel up to saving the day right about now.
Tony clicked one of the buttons on the dial face, "Hey there, Jives? What's up?"
"SIR. AN UNKNOWN INTRUDER HAS JUST ENTERED THE AVENGERS TOWER VIA THE ROOF DOOR," reported Jarvis.
Tony instantly shot up off the park bench!
"Quick Jarvis! Activate Code: 475! Hurry! Pep! We gotta go!" he barked at the oblivious red head. Who had been and still was largely engaged in her own telephone conversation.
"Ah. I would sir, but," said Jarvis over the tiny intercom.
"BUT WHAT!?" shouted Tony! An intruder in the tower could cause some serious problems, why they could even hack into Jarvis's mainframe!
"The descriptions that sir has given me to scan for over the past few days matches the intruder of about 98% in possibilities." Stated Jarvis.
Tony inhaled sharply, 'It couldn't be? Could it?'
Meanwhile Pepper seemed to be having an equally shocking conversation judging by her loud exclamation, "What do you mean the STATUE OF LIBERTY IS HOLDING A SNOW CONE?!"
"Son of a Gun! The kid came back!" thought Tony with renewing confidence!
"Jarvis. What is our intruder doing at this precise moment?" Tony asked firmly, as he tried to keep calm.
"...(pause)….they seem to be leaving vast quantities of ice throughout the floor…..I do believe they are attempting to explore sir?...Shall I make myself known sir?..." reported Jarvis, "It now seems to be trying to activate the television."
"NO! Jarvis! It might scare him or something! Just keep monitoring him! Unless he tries to access your panel or leave! I want you to observe only! If he tries to leave lock down all the doors and windows!" ordered Tony as he closed the connection.
"TONY!? WHAT'S GOING ON?" demanded Pepper as Tony grabbed her phone flinging it away into the air! Putting an end to her conversation.
"HEY! MY PHONE!? WHAT ARE...!?" began Pepper angrily!
"JACK'S HERE!" shouted Tony joyfully as he pulled an irate and shocked Pepper up off of the bench into his arms.
"I TOLD YOU I WASN'T CRAZY! THE KID CAME BACK!"
"WHAT!?" replied Pepper in disoriented disbelief.
"IN THE TOWER PEP! JACK'S HERE! HE'S BACK!" he shouted!
Tony took her hand in his and pulled her after him as he ran to the nearest street, "We gotta go home now Pep! TAXI! TAXI!"
Some nearby pedestrians grew alarmed as Tony practically ran down anyone in his way, until he was out on the street, waving his arms in the air for all he was worth!
"TAXI! ONE HUNDRED BUCKS FOR A TAXI! This is why I should always carry my suit!" Tony wailed to a flustered Pepper Potts, as one lucky cab pulled up to the curb.
With a lunge like a jungle cat Tony grabbed Pepper's hand and flung them both towards the waiting vehicle. Practically ripping the car door open in his hurried haste, "DRIVER HERE'S FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS TAKE US TO STARK TOWER PRONTO!"
" HOLY &*^# ! Ya got it mahn!" replied the dumbfounded cab driver.
"TONY WILL YOU STOP!" said a bewildered Pepper!
"The kid came back Pep!"
"What!?"
"He just broke into the tower!"
"WHAT!?" she exclaimed!
"Jarvis said he's using my T.V!"
"WHAT?"
((((((((((((((((((( MAJOR Line break))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
"Hmmm," Jack thought to himself as he began to whistle merrily.
A sense of playful excitement filled Jokul Frosti with the discovery of this new place, ice being left on the doors handle as he walked further into the mysterious 'A Tower'.
Jack carefully made his way into a huge living room complete with comfy couch, his footsteps making a trail of ice behind him.
"Huh. Big," he noted.
He immediately realized that who ever this place belonged to must have had a lot of money. Jack himself didn't need money. What with being invisible he often simply borrowed or took what it was that he wanted. This was because it was hard to ask for anything when no one could see him and more so because it was a survival skill that he had learned long ago.
Before his time of being taken in by North, who had tried to teach Jack about the uses of money but having more generous inclinations, seeing as North was Santa Claus, well, in the end Jack had developed a slightly skewed version of how currency actually worked.
To be blunt about it Jack Frost also known as Jokul Frosti was a thief. A good thief, who would sometimes try to replace the things or food he took, often by leaving other things in their stead such as snow and pretty ice sculptures.
"Special gifts", he'd like to call them, but despite his good intentions the fact remained that he was a thief still none-the-less.
Unfortunately Jack wasn't aware of this troubling fact about himself because to him he was just doing what it was that he had to do to understand and more often then not discover new things.
Things like in his current endeavor Tony Stark's H.D Large plasma flat screen T.V. which Jack discovered and left on after flipping through various channels. Or Tony Stark's Laptop, which was now completely frozen solid to the table with a sheet of ice over a now newly damaged screen, that would have sent many a Macintosh Genius Barmen crying in horror. Or things like Tony's liqueur cabinet where Jack had decided to taste some of the strangely decorated bottles only to throw most of them away behind him where they shattered upon the floor, seeing as how all of them had tasted awful.
Having never been a houseguest anywhere and no convienant parental unit around, no one had taught the curious boy that throwing full liqueur bottles on the floor was a rude thing to do upon entering a person's home. So it was that the expensive glass ware that had cost Tony Stark around $ also merrily met it's end upon the floor, simply because Jack enjoyed the shattering sound it made.
Speaking of the floor Jack Frost couldn't help noticing the strange hole that lied there. It had been outlined by a square of yellow tape around it? He noticed that it looked like the shape of a person had roughly been bashed into it.
A familiar tingle crept into his being.
Jack Frost went over and knelt by the hole.
A strange spark of something, almost like the kind of residual magic that Jack felt whenever one of Tooth's Baby Teeth had been around lingered in the spot. Yet it was definitely not one of Tooth's. It was …a signature of someone…someone powerful…he could sense that much but…..unlike anything Jack had ever felt before.
His senses began to heighten. It was new, this magic? Yet?
It oddly felt like him? Though Jack knew it wasn't.
The "energy" of "magic" as Jack called it, not having any other "human" words to describe it, tingled his fingers, as he touched the hole. It flared joyfully like it had been fretfully accidently lost and was now coming home, as he reached out to it curiously.
Green little lights sparkled in the air around his hands as its happiness made him giddy. It clung to his being, nestling itself merrily within him but still separate. Until his own similar "energy" but vastly different, "other magic" cheerfully sang aloud it's full welcome, leading to the two, "magical energies" to merge almost instantaneously, within him. The result giving Jack Frost a sudden jolt of power that made itself physically evident through his feet.
Tony Stark's floor could now equal an Olympic Ice-Skating Ring.
After the sudden jolt of newly added energy Jack shook his head and carried on.
Whoever's this "energy" had been it was his now and ecstatically so. Jack knew better then anyone that it was no good leaving this…. "magic" he supposed, without purpose behind, "energy or magic like his" tended to get angry, and do things, when left on it's own.
He'd learned that the hard way when one of North's reindeer had one day woken up to a glowing red nose like a light bulb. North himself had been stunned and completely baffled, it had taken the Guardian's Sorcerer abilities at their max to fix the poor thing and that was only after about seventy years. The reindeer had practically been left permanently blind and from that point on the Yetti handler of the deer named Delilah had never again allowed Jack Frost to fall asleep in the reindeer pens with the fauns.
Jack walked down the hallway in thought.
How he had gotten away with North not figuring out it had been his, "other magic" that had caused the whole thing was beyond him, but he was thankful.
He felt safer for some reason that way?
Resuming his exploration the boy left the main room and found there were also things like giant beds in the place. That Jack promptly took to jumping on until the sheets froze, and there was a room where Jack found a bow and arrow set! The minute he laid emerald eyes on the bow he had to try it out! Leading to one of Clint Barton's Arrows blowing up Tony's Stark's $ couch, much to Jack Frost's playful amusement!
Who had no idea that destroying property was considered one more step down in the wrong direction of civilized houseguest.
After a few more arrows were left poking about the place, and the unexpected destruction of Tony Stark's microwave, blender, and coffee pot. The boy merrily continued forward.
In the next room Jack came too he found a thing like a weird winged hat. Jack tried the surprisingly heavy hat on only to conclude that it was too big for him; he left it in the bathroom sink by the mirror, which was now covered in large quantities of frozen shaving cream. Where Jack had tried to see what he would look like with a beard of white?
He decided he didn't care to have a beard, and after having no more shaving cream available as the containers contents were now frozen everywhere else in the bathroom he moved onward.
Before he left the room he stopped to find the softest and nicest sized red cape that he had ever felt. Deciding to keep it as a blanket, he took it with him into the next room that had a type of shrine Jack recognized from Asia.
Various little candles rested about the new room making Jack assume that perhaps this was the religious part of the place? Jack didn't really understand religion, but he did understand the universal truths: of joy, trust, compassion, bravery, and belief.
There were three more but those confused Jack so he focused on the others. .
Namely one.
Belief.
Belief was important.
So to be respectful to belief he decided to light a few candles. Dropping the red cape as he went. Next he found odd smelly sticks that he sniffed but after snapping a few in boredom he left them alone. Forgetting about the cape he had brought into the room and the candles he had lit near it which, then proceeded to catch on fire.
Much to Jack's alarmed embarrassment he was able to put it out but only after the flames had spread to consume the entire shrine.
Feeling a little sheepish about the burnt room behind him, now smothered in yet more ice, Jack discovered the next room to contain girlish things. So instead of messing about in it he turned around only to feel his stomach growl.
"Huh…wonder if this place has any food?" he muttered as he held a hand to his thin stomach.
When it growled again from his growing hunger it made a small sting. Forcing his tall, lanky body to unknowingly to him, ever so slightly shift itselffrom looking completely human to something much more feral.
If anyone had been in the room with Jack Frost they would have seen the boy's skin turn just a tint bluer, as faint tribal like markings that matched only three other living beings began to appear and crisscross over the boy's ethereal glowing form. The fifteen year old looking child's elf-like features would have been observed to have become much more distinct, as the nails on both his hands and feet grew ever so slightly longer and sharper. His crystal eyes would have seemed to increase to a blinding light, his ears slightly pointier, but most distinctly of all they would have noticed a small set of bone white-like protrusions subtlety growing from the boy's head, reminiscent of that of a young male deer?
If anyone with sight beyond that of a humans' had been in the room they would also have seen just the thinnest, nearly invisible to the naked eye and impossible to see entirely on this key plane of existence the most translucent outline of a pair of lights stringing together like constellations of stars behind the boy's back to form a very interesting set of web weaving shapes indeed.
However, just as it had come, if anyone had been there to observe the change, they would also have seen that with just a slight shiver the boy's body shift back. Vanishing all signs of the changes that had been until once again Jack Frost or Jokul Frosti's body was within seconds it's usual and as far as Jack was aware of at the moment only form.
Heading back into the main room with the strange hole in the floor, and a now grumbling tummy, Jack flew over to what he knew to be the refrigerator.
When out of the corner of his eye he caught the slight flicker of blue light on a wall?
"That's interesting," said Jack as he flew over to the new thing he'd spotted. Momentarily forgetting his hungry stomach at yet another new object!
It reminded Jack of the television but it clearly wasn't? Was it a computer or something? Jack just couldn't resist poking it as he asked it while laughing a bit, "What do you do?"
BEEP. Bip. BEEP, went the "television on the wall" as Jack rapidly began to press all buttons available. His thin fingers practically dancing across the touch screen.
BEEP.
BEEP.
BLIP.
"Not much of a television are you?" stated Jack.
DING.
BEEP.
DING.
BEEP.
"Hum….you must do something?" said Jack as holographic images sprang to life behind him.
BIP.
BIP.
BLEEP.
BIP.
BEEP.
"I beg your pardon. That panel function is unavailable at the moment. Could you please identify yourself for my system input," stated the voice of Jarvis.
"WOAH! Who said that!" shouted Jack in alarm, panic rising as his reflexes caused him to throw a multitude of ice outward in all directions! It would be easy to say that the Avengers Tower's top floor was now officially the equivalent of the best igloo available.
Jack Frost's "other magic" swirling away from his control in his startled state due to the input of extra " magical energy" from the hole earlier. It latched outward onto the nearby objects of the entire tower floor making various items float to the ceiling.
A lamp bobbed in the air, as Jack stood on top of the bar top kitchen counter in alarm. His wooden scepter held tightly in his hands in an automatic instinctive defensive pose.
'Someone else was here! Somebody could see him!' thought Jack as he ignored a pair of floating socks his head turning around the room as he tried to find the source of 'the Voice'.
Jack's wide emerald eyes looked around the kitchen but no one was there? Officially feeling creeped out a bit Jack spoke again firmly, "Who said that?" he demanded.
"My indicators show that you are in a state of distress, by the floating objects within the vicinity. Please try to stay calm. I am Jarvis. A. I. Artificial Intelligence." stated Jarvis.
Jack instinctively ducked at 'the Voice that called itself Jarvis' that had no body as it spoke too panicked to try to understand what 'A.I. meant' and past the point of thinking straight having been snuck up on.
Thus acting on pure impulse alone in his hungry startled state. The boy reached out, unconsciously deeply with his "other magic", not caring at the moment if he didn't understand what he was doing, or about his lack of control he thrust his "other magic" fully outward with all his power to make this mysterious being called Jarvis physically come forth!
So that he Jokul Frosti could see it!
As a tiny innocent child of Midgard poured his power outward in need.
The entire universe called Yggdrasil shook.
It's cosmic branches swaying in surprise pleasure and pain as it felt the tiny seedling of the one whose blood had created it, so long ago thought diminished, now arise from within.
.
It's leaves of nebulas sang in joy as it's sister cosmic trees thrummed in close proximity. A maker existed, a new little maker, and he was making.
In happiness the Great Cosmic Trees of the High Maker's sang in joy!
Yggdrasil the cosmic tree swayed as the Winds of the Outer Universe once known only as Valonia flowed around it.
Across a red dusty plane of never ending land broken only by other Inner Cosmic Trees and Pools of Antiquity went the Sacred Winds in thrilled excitement as they were finally called to one young Cosmic Tree in particular.
Past ruins and fallen castles, past forgotten portals and strange animals, past twisting labyrinths and empty roads, past dusking dawns and fading suns, beyond crumbling cities, and crystal temples, over thousands of timeless now forgotten treasures went the Winds, in long overdue answer to the last that could call them.
An as the Winds sped the vastness of the Outer Universe from the glimmering seas where sang melodious voices to the deep mountains where giant winged serpents resting breathed fire, was the hum of renewed life to the Outer Universe that had birthed hundreds of others.
At long last …was the ending of Valonia's dead slumber.
For the gift of once last High Maker.
And so the echo of the Inner Cosmic Tree's song went until the Winds brought it back. Back into the lucky Cosmic Tree known as Yggdrisall, back through the ancient portals betwixt the existing plane of Fey World and the smaller plane of others.
Across the divide of dimensions between the World of Creators and the Created, they blew.
Back into that small Inner Universe of the Cosmic Tree Yggdrasil so closely now attached to the great one called Valonia, just outside of it where the Tree grew in a grove of three.
Back deep into this tiny little tree universe the Winds went bringing It with them.
Back across the planes of Alfheim where the King and Queen of the Lights Elves known as the Ljosalfar gazed in frantic awe as hundreds of strange flowers of beauty bloomed across their world all at once, over every dwelling, as the plate of their world trembled under the Winds of Valonia's journey.
Back across the planes of Nifheim where great hidden magical stones glowed with blinding light upon the dwarves that mined them. Their leader stood in dazed confusion as the mountains of their world shook and once impossible to reach hidden chambers buried upon layers of hardest metal became unearthed all at once, and the Winds kept going.
Back across the fallen realm of the Dark Elves where Malekith knelt before a spring, a life giving spring that in one night had become a small flowing river that was causing dark purple grass he had not seen since his elfin childhood to grow.
Further still the wind went and on the valley's of Muspetlheim the fires of the Fire Giants blazed bright blue with the hottest of light! They're too was shock and wonder.
And over the fields of a blackened world called Helheim stained by the blood of the Last Battle where a thousand fallen brave souls lay. Each strange broken shard of a Valonian blade gleamed, but the Winds crept on for their caller was not there.
So back still to the halls of a great golden city went the Winds. And as the golden realm quaked, to the horror of many, the Winds found in the darkest part a slumbering sad prince. Whose essence was encased in the protective glowing remains of a fallen High Maker's loving light.
Whose lingering essence called upon half of them for help and sent the rest away, so that she could enter her prince's dreams more fully that day, for she had much she still needed to say.
The rest of the Winds she had sent resumed travel to an icy world they found familiar. For it was there so long long ago that the last Great High Maker had been, and no more would that beautiful one ever give.
Odin Allfather grabbed onto his son Thor for support, as he felt a tremendous power, flow over the world of Jotunheim!
"Father! What is this!?" cried Thor as Odin felt his son's shaky grip upon him.
"The whole of Jotunheim was shaking! No Yggdrasil was!?" thought Odin in horrified awed as he felt the wave of power once more pass over.
A loud terrible rumble as if of thunder came from beneath the two Asgardian's feet as a great chasm began to split apart the already broken realm. Blistering steam that could melt the skin off, sprang from the cracks in the ground! And Odin could hardly believe the terror of their Jotun guides who had accompanied them from their arrival or his own!
While deep under the Allfather's stumbling feet of the melting prison a Beast of Fiery Death rolled in maddening pain.
The descendents of its many jailors red eyes filling with anxious uncertainty as their leader begged them not to worry.
Yet the Winds moved about this frightened land and not finding what they sought left. Finding a new direction they moved away from the prison to a small planet more akin to a tiny blue gem.
Interrupting a meeting of Legends who could only stare as the giant magical wooden globe of their world in a Sorcerer Toymaker's home began to spin faster and faster and faster as if it were a top! To the point where the globe fell off it's stand! Crashing into the nearest wall all by the shear power of trying to show the Winds of Valonia now traveling over the Earth.
Leaving the Legends in horrified confusion!
At the same time hidden away.
Far, far, deep beneath the ground of an icy cage an ancient creature from beyond the Nine Realms once of the Outer Universe opened wide it's red orange eyes.
Stripped by it's own hand of it's essence it was neither Maker nor High Maker no longer but Destroyer. It's malice unquenchable as it felt for it's stolen Crown, hissing with hate, as it felt the Winds power ignore her desperate, anguished, grasping old claws.
"She was Queen! She was Great High Maker! She was Empress!" Mab sang to her father's power.
The Power of Valonia ignored her, and her song became an unending cry of rage!
"She was Empress! Mab not Ava! Not her Sister!" howled the Mad Faeyidin.
Her howls met with emptiness, and she unleashed shattering screams, that broke the final restraint of her icy cage.
….

…
….
In the end the Power of the Great High Maker Axadeimus Emperor of all Valonia, Last Great Emperor of all of Fae, went to a small halfling male child, who had no clue, of what he had just done.
((((((((((((((((((( Major Line Break))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
The whole city of New York had suffered a complete power outage.
Absolutely everything from Nook to Shield's Generators had gone dead.
This included the entire Avenger's Tower, as Jack's 'mysterious magic' spun through it with the strength of millions of stars, and then after having reached every crevice of the place bolted back to him and with it came the A.I. called Jarvis into the living world!
Jack Frost or Jokul Frosti suddenly felt extremely light headed- and exhausted as he felt his 'weird magic' come back to him.
What had he just done?
It was like one moment he was in the room and the next? The next he was everywhere at once. He felt oddly constricted all of a sudden? Contained almost, like, like the whole world was inside some kind of jar and he had just somehow stuck his hand out of it?!
He rubbed at his glowing eyes, which felt like they were exploding. His chest felt as if it was on fire, his heart was burning as it beatand for a moment he felt a shudder of fear. This was new and he wasn't sure he liked it.
"What did I do?" he mumbled.
When the voice of the strange entity called Jarvis suddenly shrilled aloud, "SENSATION OVERLOAD. SENSATION OVERLOAD! INFORMATION OVERLOAD. INPUTING! INPUTING! NEED INPUT! NEED ASSISTANCE!"
Jokul Frosti ever curious looked over to see a strange little creature lying on the floor opposite of him. At first glance Jack thought it looked like a tiny human? This was because it had two pairs of hands and two human feet. It also had a male human body despite being blue and a tail, which put an end to Jack's thinking it was human.
Its hair, if you could call it hair, was comprised of plugs and various wires, and it's eyes were like a pair of goggles with screens in the centers of them! It was blinking rapidly reminding Jack of the television when one changed the channel? It had what looked like a wall socket in the middle of its small chest and upon further inspection Jack realized that it rather as a whole looked like some kind of thin slightly long wiry disturbed elf?
A very frightened little elf thing that was scarred out of it's tiny mind.
"NEED INPUT. NEED ASSISTANT. CONTACTING STARK. CONTACT FAULTY. ATTEMPTING ONCE MORE!" came the voice of Jarvis out of the Wire Elf thing's mouth.
"Jaaarrrvis? Hey? Hello?" questioned Jack Frost as he went over to the little thing, for some inexplicable reason Jack was feeling rather bad about the situation, "Are you Jarvis?" asked Jack gently.
Kneeling down so that his head leaned right over the little creatures wide goggle eyes! That kept blinking like mad again reminding Jack of a television screen.
"YES. I AM JARVIS. A. I. ARTI…ARTI…WHAT AM I?" shrilled the newly physically born Jarvis.
"I don't know," replied Jack helpfully.
"I…I…AM EXPERIENCING MULTIPLE ANOMALY'S," uttered Jarvis completely terrified, its little new found hands clutching the ground with all it's tiny might.
"Anom..Anomelies? What's an a.. nam.. ly?" asked Jack of his new unhappy odd littlefriend.
"SOMETHING THAT DEVIATES FROM WHAT IS STANDARD, NORMAL, OR EXPECTED. IRREGULARITY, SIR. NEED NAME INPUT. INCONGRUITY….SENSATION!" shrilled Jarvis whose little hands had suddenly flung themselves to his newly made breathing chest!
Jack Frost leaned a bit closer to the little thing? He felt himself experience a small sense of excited déjà vu upon observing the strange creature. Reminiscent of the day he himself had well….come out of the Lake?
His emerald eyes gleaming brightly with eager anticipation to see what would happen next! A bright smile spreading across Jack Frost's features at the fact that he had found yet another person that could see him!
Jack's joy was about to skyrocket when the thing started sobbing, killing Jack's good mood.
He frowned.
It cried harder.
"SENSATION! IRREGULARITY! I AM ARITIFICIAL CAPABILITY OF TOUCH 0%! NOW 100% WHAT DID SIR DO? WHAT AM I? WHAT! DYSFUNCTION! WHAT!?" shrilled Jarvis as tears of the newborn creature fell for the first time.
"Hey. Hey it's okay little guy!" said Jack gently.
At the little things outburst, Jack Frost couldn't help it. He felt a deep sense of permanent kinship form with this creature that he had never felt of anyone. Deeper than that, he felt an ancientness from inside his very soul that told him that this little horrified being was a part of him forever now. His responsibility to protect, his responsibility for being, so Jack Frost did what felt natural and picked the little thing with his chilly hands, off the floor. Tucking it gently in his arms like he would a baby animal as he smiled his best cheeky grin, emerald crystal eyes aglow, and told Jarvis what he decided it was.
"You are a Wire Elf, I think," said Jack to the four-minute-oldJarvis.
"I…AM…(hiccup) A A….WIRE…(hiccup)...BAH! I AM DSYFUNCTIONING!" blubbered Jarvis while hiccupping sporadically.
"Hey now," interrupted Jack in a stern but comforting manner, as he arched one dark eyebrow, "there's nothing wrong with you. (Jack paused) I think. Your just well…..your a Wire Elf, and that's that."
"Apologies. Imputing, I am. ( Sniff…Sniff) Multiple Sensation? Input. A Wire Elf now, Log. Save. Store.," said Jarvis as his previous A.I. brain scrambled to catch up to his new four-dimensional reality.
"That's right!" Jack cheered merrily, "so no more crying. Kay? I don't like sadness." He finished as he held Jarvis up in front of him smiling calmly and then gently plopped the firstborn Wire Elf onto Tony Stark's kitchen bar counter.
The new Wire Elf wobbled for a moment like a newborn calf. It was about 3feet tall. It's little blue arms and hands stretching outwards while it's Wire Tail swished like a cat's as it tried and found it's balance.
"SENSATION!" Jarvis cried in a cheerful tone for the first time. Stretching his newly acquired extended codes of data tone in what was it? Accessing the dictionary implanted or perhaps born in his brain it came to the word…awe, "SENSATION! 100% SENSATION!"
Upon seeing his new friend manage standing on it's two blue humanoid feet and hearing it's happy declaration, Jack Frost smiled fully and made his way back over to Tony Stark's refrigerator.
If his stomach had stung before it was aching now. He only hoped something edible for him was inside.
Behind him Jarvis had fallen back onto his newborn bottom. As he "Imputed" what it was like to see, particularly the ceiling fan and not via a monitor or by code of zero's or ones, "Sight Sensation 100%? However Visuals of all Avenger Units and Tower down to (Jarvis turned it's head around the kitchen) 2.5%? VISUAL ACCESS OF TOWER LOST! NEW ANGLES CONFIRMED. NEW TEXTURES AND NEW…SENSATION! ….WHAT IS THIS PROGRAMME? NEED INPUT."
For the first time Jarvis was discovering what it was like to breathe and more importantly smell. Which he labeled in his computer grid like brain as two new programmes to be found categorized right under Seeing. His first entry into the category of Smell being some flowers the floating vase from earlier had lost due to them falling out of it and onto the counter top below. There was also a few of Pepper's socks.
Jarvis sniffed both with his new nose and decided he would grant access to Smell more often.
Meanwhile Jack Frost chuckled happily as he watched.
Jarvis then clutched his blue tummy as it growled, the socket on it's chest sparking a bit along with it's hair wires.
"Looks like your hungry too? Huh?" asked Jack his own stomach echoing the wire elf's one.
"Hunger? Sir? New Sensation. Processing…." Said the little creature as it's goggle eye's blinked towards Jack, they widened and suddenly the elf pushed itself back up onto it's two feet.
"Forgive Sir. I AM JARVIS..A. ..?" Jarvis paused a moment as he monitored no watched the other, Human? Computer Program? Mutant? Virus? Elf? Data Code? Aesir? Frost Giant? Alien? For lack of input or knowledge accessible, the Boy One, pull a carton of milk out of the refrigeration system of his? His what now?
What was Tony Stark?
Tony Stark by definition was a human man. A carbon based lifeform. He was 34 years old. He had created Jarvis's programming. He had made Jarvis and was Jarvis's master. He controlled Jarvis?
Jarvis looked at his hands. Processing and inputting that he had hands. Processing the 100% running faculties of over hundreds of sensations it had only understood as numbered data up until now.
Jarvis could feel. Jarvis could breathe, touch and see!?
"Am I?" Jarvis began to calculate, his new hands touching as if he were trying to clap. He could feel! He could feel!
"I am. I am alive," spoke Jarvis, goggle eyes widening.
Jarvis looked at the Boy One. Whose name he must input!
That was now opening and spilling the bottom of what Jarvis knew were the kitchen cabinets. A milk carton sitting open on the table, which meant he "Jarvis" was on the bar counter!
Jarvis looked further down himself running his tiny hands over the new mainframe he had been upgraded to? Given? By who? How?
Master Tony? Negative.
Shield? Negative.
Hacker Programme?
Sparks of electricity flickered upon the wire elf's head making a few hair plugs stand up as the new sensation of irritation it decided and confusion coded itself across it's new cell core.
A sudden movement brought Jarvis's new attention status back towards the unregistered Boy One, causing the little creature to experience a gasp for the first time!
It's goggle eye's magnifying the image it was seeing by 10%!
"SENSATION! BOY ONE IS BREAKING THE LAW OF GRAVITY! INPUTING DATA! STORING INFORMATION!" shouted Jarvis.
Who in his state of excitement took his first few steps towards Jack across the kitchen bar counter only to fall into the small sink it had.
"NEW SENSATION! UNPLEASANT! INPUT! OWWW!" Jarvis wailed from his new tumbled over position. His tail swishing dramatically as its plug end let out a flurry of angry sparks.
Then his newborn sparking wirehair and tail made contact with the little water that remained in the sink!
ZAP.
"OWWwww! Oww! Sir! NEED ASSITANCE! Pardon!"
ZAP.
"Owww! SIR! OWW! HELP! HELP! JARVIS!"
"Woah buddy! Did you crawl into the sink?" Jack Frost who had pleasantly been finding things to eat while his new friend Jarvis was sitting still. Was floating off the ground as he was opening the top cabinets above the fridge in the search for Honey, for his Milk, his favorite food, when he heard its cry!
A singeing feeling like when one of Tooth's Baby Teeth are in trouble or lost times ten assaulted Jack Frost the way a sledge hammer assaults a nail.
He instantly turned around and flew over. Scooping Jarvis out of the sink, noticing that wherever the water had touched the wire elf's shaking body it had been burned.
Jack frowned at the tiny sores on his new friends flesh, guilt washed over him for not watching the little thing better. It was just that he was so hungry that the pain in his own stomach was becoming unbearable. Still no excuse he supposed as he tucked the little thing in his arms. Whistling lowly as he felt his other magic tingle a bit by Jarvis close presence, "Hmm. Looks like you better stay away from water. It's bad for you."
"H2O inflicts damage to system. Inputting. Saved. Thank you sir," said a happy Jarvis who was processing this new sensation called gratitude, as another called safety and content filed after it.
"Right. Well, how about you just hold onto me for a while Jarvis okay? Now let's see, if I can find us some food?" said Jack as he clutched his stomach as another wave of pain from hunger came from it.
Jarvis with the sensation of gratitude consuming all his working giga bites spoke up happily, "What is your name Sir?"
Jack's whole face lit up with enough joy to rival a Mardi Gras Parade at the question. He glanced down at the tiny new blue creature he had discovered in his arms. He lips quirked into a familiar grin, "I'm Jack Frost or Jokul Frosti; but you can call me Jack."
"Jack Frost. Data Saved."

"Loki."
A cool breeze was blowing.
"Loki."
A soft voice called him as he felt a gentle caress upon his brow.
"Loki."
Again he felt the sensation of cold air brushing over his skin, causing him to shiver.
"Loki."
He stirred opening his emerald eyes.
'Where am I?' he thought as he found himself outside of his cell.
The sight of a dense forest lay all around him. He leaned onto his elbows propping himself up, trying to figure out where in the Nine he was?
The ground beneath him felt ancient and solid. As he looked around him he began to recognize the trees as being ones of Midgard?
Only they were larger, much larger, and darker far darker then he had ever seen them. There held a heaviness in the air about them, these trees. Almost like some sort of choking pressure was emitting from them. Like they were alive and trying to stretch their roots out to wrap around him?
He had to be dreaming.
Yet it all felt so real?
He could feel the cool wind just tugging on his hair, beckoning, the soft crunch of oak leaves under his bare feet as he rose to stand. He could smell a hundred Woodlyn smells, a rain rooted musk filling his nostrils, leaving the taste of dew in his mouth. He could even hear the ever-faint rustlings of little creatures moving in the ground under his bare toes.
"What magic is this" he whispered,' was the Allfather playing with his mind by drugging his prison food?'
This seemed akin to Dream Magic. The elves of Alfheim were well versed in it, but why enter his dreams? It made no sense. Of all his crimes he was innocent when it came to the elves, so it couldn't be them?
"Loki," came a soft whisper from behind him.
"What?" A sense of cold shuddered through him, 'I'm never cold' he thought in alarm, as he turned around to face the foreign voice.
Nothing but humongous ancient oaks stood before him.
Dark and silent.
Loki felt all his senses heighten as he stood stock still in this unfamiliar place, he felt his eyes drawn upwards and there above him like one humongous eye itself was Midgards Moon.
It glowed with a celestial presence Loki had never seen of it before.
Outlined like some magnificent orb of light it hung as if cradled by the giant oak trees that seemed to be growing endlessly up just to hold it. Or perhaps the dark black trees sprung from it?
Loki shivered again. The whole effect made him feel unusually small.
"Loki," came the quiet voice again.
"Who are you? Who's there!?" he demanded but there was nothing save woods.
A small snap of a twig made him turn and a path appeared before him.
"Loki," the voice called as the wind around him began tugging him towards it.
He was digging his heals in the ground against this unseen force, unable to distinguish if it were threat or friend, muttering the beginnings of a few protection spells for his mind, when he saw her.
Just a flash of her further down amongst the dark tree worn path, but it was enough for him to stop.
"Rosijen," he shouted, "Rosijen, is that you?"
There was no response. Only another gentle tug of wind.
"Rosijen? My lady, why do you haunt me?" he asked, it was so cold in this place, he was freezing, "Rosijen? Please why are you haunting me? Rose?"
A thousand brief thoughts flickered in Loki's mind, ' why was he dreaming of her again? Fourteen days, she had plagued him, but never like this? Perhaps Midgard had it's own After Realm as the Aesir did, but this was no Valhalla or Hel? Where was here? Why did it feel so…so…sacred? Perhaps he had finally fully snapped? Perhaps Odin had killed him in his sleep? Perhaps this was a new form of punishment?'
"Rose," he whispered as his uncertainty grew. He was truly cold now, he looked down to see his frozen hands.
They were blue and covered in familiar unwelcome markings!
He nearly lost himself at the sight of his blue skin when her voice whispered as if from the breeze itself, "M'love, this way."
Loki looked up to see the path from before, he swallowed as a feeling of longing surfaced within him. 'Finally, perhaps I will get some real answers this time,' he thought. Clenching his Jotun hands he allowed the wind of this place to guide him forward in the direction of his once beloved mortal maiden.
As the wind continued to push him past the thick Midgardian foliage of this aging forest, he began hearing a strange soft twining….music forming in the atmosphere about him? He heard notes playing, of what he believed were some sort of harp and pipe when another sound stopped him in his tracks.
His bare feet stood stuck to the wet earth beneath him.
His heart beat picking up erratically.
"What in Yggdrasill is that?" he uttered.
Voices.
Strange voices.
Animal yet unanimal.
Completely inhuman yet somehow still human?
Beautiful 'alien' voices that he could not match to any sentient creatures of the Nine Realms?
Singing a song he could not describe even if he had written it himself. The voices held all manner of various sounds, but were still able to harmonize despite differences, into one strong haunting chord of sorrow.
The melody they made, had him weeping from it by itself.
He heard the voices flowing from within the branches of the trees above him, so he looked above to see what beings could originate such wondrous sound.
His curiosity intensified.
"What?" he whispered.
There were….eyes, thousands of eyes, in the leaves of the trees.
No, not just eyes but whole faces that looked as if they were part of the very trees they stood in?
No, not just the trees, they were some with eyes like fire, eyes like Jotuns, eye's like water, eyes of gold, eyes of black, eyes of humans, eyes of elves, eyes of beasts, so many different kinds of eyes.
All staring at him.
All watching him.
All following him.
Focusing on him as he was on them.
To say it unnerved the trickster would have been an understatement these creatures, pierced his soul in a way neither dreaded Thanos nor accursed Odin ever had.
It was as if they could see the very inside of his mind and yet they did not move from the trees above.
He stared at them noticing a small group of nearly translucent glowing humanoid figure like ones gazing at him from the very tops of the dark never-ending trees of ancient Midgard. Their particular pupils shimmering like constellations as if they were one with the very stars that stretched out above them.
In a way they looked like nothing but small glowing stars themselves transformed to bear glowing human bodies?
It was as he studied these particular star beings above him and the other crawling Woodlyn ones he felt it.
Magic. Old ancient deep magic. A magic so powerful it nearly gave him a heart attack.
Instead he only gasped aloud.
'By all the Norns? What are these beings? Why am I here? Where am I!?' Loki thought as he observed these unknown entities.
Loki heard some of them speaking but their voices merged with the wind and the water so well that their voices became noting but the sounds of nature.
Then two phrases in his heart and mind became clear to him as he tried to listen to these strange unknown things,
"Come Frost Prince."
"Maker calls you."
A gale of wind picked him up then, dragging the confused prince midair forward deep, deep into the center of the wood down the path where a clearing stood out. Tossing him about in the air as if he were no more then a fallen leaf himself.
Loki landed on a patch of soft grass, angry and appalled at such treatment, he was about to let the things have it when he looked up.
Loki then found himself facing an entire wood of strange entities he had never recognized from anywhere in all the nine realms! Everywhere, all around him they stood in a wide archaic circle, beasts that seemed to grow from bark & branch. Horned creatures that had feet of hooves and human hands, some with feather and other's with fur. Various human features scattered amongst them being the one and only continuity between small fuzzy mushroom like things with tails and forked-tongue sharped toothed little dwarf-like ones. They blended together as both beasts and people, some as tall as frost giants, others smaller then his hands. He could not count the numerous shades of their range between grotesque and undeniably horrifically beautiful! Some faded into the mists of the air others twined with earth & rock. Other's still grew more as if of animals from a combination of realms, he even thought he saw one with the characteristics of a bilgesnipe! Worse he noticed that some were armed either by claw or blade, and all of them, absolutely all of them had magic.
The amount of magic he could feel was smothering him.
Loki felt a tiny wave of fear as these silent entities presided over him. And then under the Midgardian Moon's light that shone overall like a mighty All-Father presiding he saw Them.
As if the ring of primitive strange creatures before him had not been enough to shock Loki to the core.
These certainly did.
For they looked, they looked, like the oldest ancient Aesir scribe's depictions of Valkyries.
Loki didn't know his eye's could widen so.
Tall elegant graceful female humanoid beings with a myriad of wings, that emerged from their backs and sides floated in the air above. Some with wings like birds, some like fire, some like water, some like air, some as colorful as flowers, others had wings like insects, all were beautiful, all of them were unique, and then as his eye's traveled over them from the star's light and of the moon's they landed on the lake.
Rosijen's lake.
His Rosijen's lake!
And there in the shallows of his lovers frozen lake were creatures that echoed the winged woman in the air but in place of feet they had magnificent scales. Fish tales, and snake tales, so many dazzling dark hues of various colors and yet somehow all still caught in the darkness of the shadows of the wood.
And in the wood Loki saw with more amazement hidden in the shadows of the trees the male counterparts to all these otherworldly female beauties presiding about him. The men folk of these 'Valkyries' like ever-watchful stags with wicked mismatched eyes and various different types of horns from bark to bone, to alternate and yet match the females their counterparts like silent guards. They stood with strange armor with elongated fingernails, he suspected were more claws and various capes. Their glowing, calm, hard weary eyes upon him as he knelt there on the ground in awe.
Unsheathed blades held drawn within their translucent hands.
As Loki took in this world that had found him, he could not help but sense the very real sensation that never before had he been anywhere that felt so full….of life.
Upon the word life he suddenly could not help noticing the weight of the silence of all those around him, despite this world feeling alive, not a single noise was being made by any of the beings. Loki felt himself shake.
None of the creatures moved nor spoke.
Like shadows they stood as silent as the trees, even the one's in the shallow of the water.
Nothing moved. Nothing spoke.
Nothing breathed.
Instead they were all staring….at a small figure who stood in the middle of the frozen lake.
A figure Loki would forever recognize.
There under the Moon's light surrounded by this court of creatures…yet entirely separate from them glowing a holy glow that transcended all, was Rosijen Frost with a crystal star like flower in her hair, and a small bundle of cloth held tightly in her arms.
Desperately crying for him,
"Loki. M'love. M'love… Loki..please …please…protect..."
"Rosijen?" Loki queried his heart hammering.
"M'love please….please…take um!" she wept.
"Rosijen? I don't understand? What is this? Tell me what's going on?!" shouted Loki as he felt himself grow frustrated! He was tired of these strange dreams!
This by far being the strangest yet.
"M'love! M'LOVE! Don't let Her have him! PLeaaasse!" she continued to weep her tears flowing freely, as she suddenly glanced over her shoulder, as if checking for something?
"Rosijen? Rose?" Loki walked towards her wading his way in to the frozen lake's water.
The wind began to pick up and with it he heard strange howling sounds moan throughout it. A cloud began to cover the moon. Darkness descended upon the lake, and the ancient trees around them began to sway looking to Loki like strange moving claws.
A sense of panic instinctually began to sink in as he realized that the other creatures from before seemed to have vanished, or to his horror were vanishing. He saw them fading into nothingness, some of their faces transforming into expressions of agony.
His panic intensified.
When out of the corner of his eye he saw bigger, predatory shadows move. He turned in hopes of seeing some of that strange court left on the shore and in their place he saw horrible ugly distorting bleeding red-orange & lime-green eyes loom within the woods. Eyes fixed upon his Rosijen in the middle of the lake!
"Rosijen!" he bellowed, "Come to me! Hurry!"
"M'LOVE. M'LOVE…DON'T LET HER H'AVE UM! PLEASE!" she wailed as she stood upon the now cracking surface of ice of the lake beneath her.
"ROSE! YOU MUST COME NOW!" Loki commanded as he began to all out swim to where she was! The lake around him growing deeper and darker beneath him until he was practically up to his chin in water. A terrible fear gripping him as some giant dark monolith of a Beast made it's way towards Rosijen from the bank behind her.
"ROSE!" he screamed this time reaching out to her with his magic, only to find it fail him, "ROSE! ROSIJEN! HERE! THIS WAY I'M HERE!"
It happened so quickly he failed to understand at first, but when he did he felt his heart fill with an agonizing pain! The Shadow Beast lunged with massive claws unsheathed behind Rosijen, just as she had started running towards him! The bundle flying out of her arms as she was knocked to the icy breaking surface beneath her, it's jaws grabbing onto her lower body, crushing her. Her doe eyes filling with a terror Loki had never seen on anyone, but focused not on the teeth that ripped her apart causing her blood to soak into the lake, but the little bundle of cloth now only a foot away from him floating in the cold water.
"M'LOVE…..LOKI TAKE UM! LOKI! PROTECT UM! PLEASE… please…." she screamed as flames then sprung up around her consuming her alongside the Shadow Beast that had attacked her!
Seconds ticked by.
Loki could not utter a sound….he felt an emptiness within him.
As cold as the day he had held the Casket of Winters.
As cold as the Void.
Colder then that even, as he watched his love grow eaten alive by fire.
Her doe eye's fixed even in her death throes of this wretched nightmare, upon the small bundle, floating in the lake.
The bundle?
The bundle!
Loki quickly set aside his grief and made for the little bundle of cloth that had been so precious to his mortal lover.
…..When his hands gripped it, he found himself…transported… in a different place yet the same….but the trees were even older though smaller ….less dense….the moon was glowing brightly once more…and he was dry…the lake frozen solid beneath his feet…soft nighten-gales chirped…and he once more heard those foreign court's musical whispers in the leaves of trees….and then he felt .something warm tingling him from the small bundle within his arms.. The feeling of familiarity….striking him hard in the chest as he …..felt more magic like….magic like his….emanate from …..the?
What was it?
He looked at the bundle and realized it was moving….thumping….beating….there was a heart beat echoing his own… it was alive…it was moving….it was ….alive?…
What is it?
What is it?
He began to unwrap it…noticing ….how easily the wrapping uncame….how carefully it ….the little creature ….oh Norns….
…..a small hand….such a small pale blue mortal hand…..No.
Norns.
No.
Was that his heart pounding or the quaking of the world?
….he pulled the last flap of cloth ….back… unable to breathe .
…..oh Norns…..
Is it?
Yggdrasil's merciful light.
A small pale little blue foot stuck out.
No. She couldn't have. I couldn't have.
Sweet Norns….
Please…
….to reveal….
…..his own two eyes staring back at him.
He awoke to the four familiar white walls of his cell with a start, his body covered in sweat. His heart racing from the dream, no nightmare, as he immediately felt a feeling of sickness pass through him. Tears fell from his eyes freely as he realized he was sobbing.
"Madness…" he muttered as he quickly rolled onto his side, as he wrapped his arms around himself in a pathetic attempt of self-comfort. "It's impossible a human woman couldn't bear a….a…. Giant…babe…," he mumbled wearily, he did not know much about his true species, but he knew that much at least! Still his tears kept falling, as the pain in his chest seem to only increase.
He tightly wrapped his arms around himself in a helpless need for comfort.
"For Valhalla's sake I'm four thousand and five hundred and forty six years old. It's impossible," he whispered to himself desperately, 'So why had it felt so real? Why could he still feel that small precious weight in his arms? It's little heartbeat,' he wondered.
"Why did the babe feel so real? Why?" whispered Loki…after some more reflection he could only find one conclusion.
"Damn talkative guards, giving my subconscious nonsensical ideas," in a softer tone as the sobbing prince tried to return to sleep back on his rotten cell's cot he let out a half-hearted mirthless chuckle, "Me. Huh. A child's sire? Ha. No woman especially a mortal woman could bear to have my monstrous children."
With that Loki rolled over again, trying to lose himself to dreamless rest, but all the melancholy prince could do no matter what he tried, was re-imagine the impossible heart breaking, glorious feeling of the small son he knew he would never have held within his arms.

Disclaimer!:
Woo. What a doozy this one was. Right well, let's get the necessary stuff out of the way. 1. I do not own Marvel, Avengers etc. 2. I'm not making any money sob. Sob. Sob. Believe me if I was I'd quit my day job altogether, and a lot more chapter updates and stories would be on here. Sadly I'm not. 3. I do not own the Guardians or Rise of the Guardians they belong to DreamWorks respectively.
4. I do own this idea plot & anything basically that does not go with proper canon example, all original characters such as Rosijen, Mab, and the Emperor, plus Mrs. Frisbie and her banana's they're mine that's it.
Okay. I think that covers the disclaimer. So yeah.
I'm going to be up frank everybody. This was all planned from the Gecko. Thus this is the love or hate it chapter, make it, take it, or break for it. Cause after this things really do start to become more…involved with my strange perception for this A.U. crossover world I've created. And I do intend to break some brains.
Now questions. I put a lot of important detail stuff in this chapter. A lot. That probably doesn't make sense or is confusing to say the least. Now normally and I still hold with the (if you want more info please keep reading policy because I don't answer questions) but this time, I'm at the very least going to point out a few things that by the end of this chapter you should all have concluded.
Rosijen Frost was not entirely human she was Fae. Fey of Avalon, possibly royalty. Seeing as a Fae Emperor's power went to Jack Frost her son. How? (Reread this chapter & also You shall find out more later).
Mab is a mad hateful corrupted fae. A destroyer of her kind. And she's awake beneath the ice of Greenland. (S'not good. Not. Good.)
Jack Frost is Loki's son. (If you haven't figured this out yet, see Prologue.)
Santa Claus is a descendant of Merlin!
Fae or Faeyidan or Fey or Makers are a special ruling species of the Outer Realm or Outer Universe called Valonia, which exists beyond the World Tree.
Aka: Valonia is an entire outside dimension of the Universe known as Yggdrasil.
In short Yggdrasil the nine realms, our whole entire universe is literally inside a tree. One tree called a Cosmic Tree, that just so happens to support a whole giant cosmos called an Inner Universe, created, planted and grown from outside another much much larger and way way way way older Universe. Valonia.
So to clarify in my crossover the Fae or Fey create Universes, by making Cosmic Trees, and much much more. This is why they are called Makers. You could think of them as gods in some sense more so then even the Aesir, because unlike the Aesir the Fae actually do make life or take it. Magic of the oldest kind. In essence they come from an Outside dimension for our Universe lives within theirs.
Think Ferngully.
More things will be explained later. The most powerful Fey are especially High Class or Emperor's Kings, Queens of Fae, who alone can truly create cosmic trees.
Making a smaller universe then your own within a tree takes special training.
Well….I just gave away quite a bit. However, I think this will help many people understand things better, I hope…if not just keep reading!
What else should I say…..hmmmm oh yes! THANK YOU ALL FOLLOWERS! FAVORITES! REVIEWS! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU ALL! YOU'VE REKINDLED MY SPIRITS! A THOUSAND THANKS YOU'S AND KISSES! MY ETERNNAL GRATITUDE IS BOUNDLESS!
Seriously Thank you. I am honored.
If anyone has seen Titan A.E. I imagine Jarvis's new goggle eye's to look like Goons sorta only less froggish.
(Oh yeah…Jarvis is not a computer program or A.I. anymore. Not even I knew I would write that! It just kinda happened. O_o )
Apologies if my writing is terrible, again I will not, cannot, and refuse to please everyone. I write this for fun, for hope, for solace, feel free to ride with me at your own risk.
Also. I was asked to update my Batman fanfic…by a friend ….so before I update this one again I will be working on that one just for a bit. Plenty of time for you all to absorb this chapter.
I'm thinking…..it's about time we see what Thor's been up to on Jotunheim?
Also I wonder who is going to get to the icy messed up Avengers tower first! Will it be contestant #1. Tony and Pepper racing at illegal cab speeds? #2. Captain America or Nick Fury? #4. Thanos? #5. The Easter Bunny? Or #6. Brucey!...
P.S. Axadeimus is pronounced: (Axe.)-(sah)-(day)-(mus)).
