Once Sonic arrived where Shadow and the others were they were fighting Mephiles and they seemed to be loosing so Sonic immediately ran in and punched Mephiles so hard he went flying threw three trees. Shadow and the others stared at Sonic and was about to greet him but he backed away and said as calm as he could without showing the amount of rage he had inside….

Sonic: you guys have done enough here you can leave know and go find the others and Mephiles is mine

And with that said he ran in the direction he punched Mephiles to without another word, Shadow and the others just shrugged and went to look for Tails and the others while Sonic went searching for Mephiles deep in the forest.

Sonic: where are you!?

Mephiles: looking for me?

Sonic:*Sonic hears feeling breath like ice running down his neck he instantly turned around to punch him and only punched a tree* grr STOP BEING A COWARD AND SHOW YOURSELF! *Sonic yelled in anger*

Mephiles's evil laughter ringed all around him and Sonic grew even angrier spinning in circles running all around trying to find him but, he had no luck and he punched a tree in anger and sighed closing his eyes and let his ears listen to every single movement and blow of the wind to help him easier. He listened and heard footsteps coming from somewhere and he knew they weren't his own because he was standing still and he kept listening until he didn't hear them anymore. Once he opened his eyes their Mephiles was right in his face his cold eyes looking into his soul making shivers run down his spine and without warning he grabbed him by the throat and started to chock him lifting him into the air Sonic struggled with all his might to get free and with no luck he remained in his grip it getting tighter each second. Sonic began growing weak struggling lesser and lesser the blood in his slowly stopping to flow, Sonic knew it was no use so he started to have flashbacks of the good times he had with his friends and Lina and smiled a very sweet delicate smile as tears of happiness runned down his face and then like that he stopped moving and was gone. Mephiles laughed as he enjoyed watching him suffer in agony taking his last breath, but to his surprise Sonic eyes had opened and his fur turned black and his eyes glowing white and Sonic immediately grabbed Mephiles's hand breaking it nearly making him let go off him and Sonic grabbed him and slammed him hard into the ground. Mephiles was in shock and stood up instantly and tried to punch Sonic but Sonic was to fast. Sonic had caught his punch and threw him into the air and punched him multiple times so fast he couldn't get a single punch in Mephiles stood holding his arm and coughed

Mephiles: how is this possible!? Y...you where dead!

Sonic: good never dies

And with that said Sonic took out his chaos emerald and threw it into the air

Sonic: CHAOS CONTROL!

A giant explosion erupted over the whole landscape of Mobius it being so powerful it knocked down Shadow and the others along with a few trees and houses. Shadow stood up and ran as fast as he could to the fighting scene only to find neither Sonic nor Mephiles nowhere to be found. All that remained was Sonic's chaos emerald Shadow picked it up and looked down shacking his head.

Shadow: you did it faker….

And he walked back to where the others were and showed them what was left of the brutal battle they all bowed their heads and Tails shedded some tears but, then they raised their heads up high because the world was saved by the greatest hero ever to be known and his name is Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog!
