It was raining heavily outside. The morning light was a light blue glow that shown through the large windows as the three men ate breakfast at the large dining room table. Isaak and Brian were sitting close together enjoying a meal of sausages and eggs. Dexter had preferred to eat his usual meal of two sunny side up eggs and pieces of Canadian bacon with blood oranges across from the two.

"So, Dexter." Isaak voiced. "Tell me about yourself. What did you do before you ran with Brian?" He asked. Dexter was in the middle of chewing on a piece of bacon. He swallowed before he answered truthfully.

"I worked for Miami Metro Police Department while killing the scum of Miami." Dexter paused. "Before 'Rudy' came along, I had never killed an innocent… My foster sister Debra-."

Brian interrupted. "She had to die Dexter." He leaned slightly across the table with a slight smirk. "I'm your future. Your real sibling. She would have never accepted this side of you." There was a nudge at his socked foot. Brian's foot. "I accept and need all of you Dex." Brian stared directly into his brother's eyes. "And, you accept me." It wasn't a question. The elder's hand reached across and took Dexter's hand in his own. There was an awkward pause before Brain finally let go. Emotion was still too soon for them.

Brian snuggled close to Isaak. "What are you doing today?" He asked changing the subject. The older man shrugged.

"I'm working from home." He grasped Brian's hand and squeezed it. "I thought you could give Dexter a tour." Brian smiled softly. "I think he'll be here for a while, right?" Isaak leaned towards the elder brother and kissed his cheek softly. Brian gazed at Isaak for a second before he nodded.

He glanced at Dexter and smiled bigger, "Would you like that?" Brian asked. Dexter shrugged.

"Sure." He answered wiping his hands with a napkin.

The house was even larger inside than it appeared outside. Isaak had incredible taste. There were about six rooms, five had en suites. There was a movie room in the west wing and several corridors that led to a drawing room and dance hall. It was fit for a king.

"I only left to find you." Brian said walking past the indoor pool. "Anything could have happened in America but I just couldn't help the very human emotion of needing to find you." Dexter followed Brian to another set of double doors. It was a sauna with a separate workout room. Brian turned walking backwards. "I know you like to work out." He punched Dexter in his arm for emphasis. "I used to be muscular like you or even more so." He flexed his skinny arm. "I plan on getting it back, you know? Protein shakes and all that." Dexter only nodded.

"Cool." He responded. Honestly, Dexter just wanted to find something to keep his mind preoccupied. This was helping but it wasn't interactive or mind puzzling. It was domestic and…nice. Darling Dexter was brotherly bonding.

Brian glanced at the weights. "We could work out together." The elder looked Dexter up and down before subtly licking his lips. "My baby brother is so sexy." He gazed up into Dexter's eyes. Dexter coughed awkwardly. That was weird. Sexy was a word you only used for people you were attracted to.

"Thanks?" He folded his arms and found something to else to look at. 'Should I pay him a compliment back?' He thought. Brian was average but handsome. He was quite a catch for any woman…or man. "You have nice eyes?" He tried. Brian smiled.

"They're our eyes, Dexter." He took Dexter's hand and led him out of the room and up the stairs to the right that led to a balcony. "You look like mom. You know?" It was still raining but Brian just stood outside the door with his hand grasping Dexter's. He gazed at Dexter before hooking an arm around his neck. The younger tensed. "I missed you so much, Dexter."

Dexter didn't know what to say. He could only stand there as the taller man embraced him. Something in him told him to hug the man back and he did. It was suffocating yet comforting. "You'll never hide again. Never." Brian brought him closer despite Dexter's awkwardness. "I loved you, then and love you now." Suddenly, Dexter brought their foreheads together. He had never felt so much emotion. He had never felt such emotional attachment.

"You're the only one I won't have to hide from..." Dexter whispered. "I would have killed you."

Brian scoffed. "You would have been lost among a herd of sheep." A large hand stroked up and down Dexter's back. "Your big brother has you. Biney has you."

In that moment, it was just them. They were the only two monsters on earth.
