Chapter Eighteen
Please remind me who I really am
The first thing I notice is the pain.
A vast ache spreads all over my body the moment I wake up. I don't open my eyelids, which feel oddly heavy. A dull throbbing around my neck makes me notice the absence of my collar.
The second thing I notice is that I'm still a wolf.
My fur feels strangely light and fluffy on my body, as if I just rubbed myself on a carpet and now I'm all staticy. I'm laying on my belly, with my paws on either side of my head, which is laying limp on the floor.
The third thing I notice is the blood in my mouth.
Slowly, I frown at the warm liquid on my tongue. Why do I taste blood? This isn't from prey, definitely. It tastes like it's from….
My eyes fly open and I jump to my paws. I immediately regret it, pain surging through my body. My knees buckle and I fall back to the ground.
I grunt and wipe my face with a paw. What did I do? I am such an idiot! I'm definitely going to be of SHIELD's bad side now that I attacked their freaking leader! Oh, God…..
Letting out a whine, I slowly try to sit up. Man, I hope he's okay. We can't lose him now, not when we're so close to freeing the Pack. Oh, shoot, this is gonna be a major setback on that.
I sigh, shifting my paws so that my hind legs take most of my weight. My front half, especially around my neck, is sore like hell.
So that's what the 'emergency shock' thing was.
Now that my eyes are open and I've managed to sit up, I take a look at my surroundings. I'm not surprised to find myself in some sort of cage. The whole thing seems to be made out of glass, with only a few thick bars of metal attached to it so the glass looks like large windows. There's a bench attached to one of the bars. Glancing up, I see a metal roof above my head.
For a moment, I wonder why they would put me in a cage made out of glass, when I can easily break through it. With some difficulty, I manage to stumble/drag myself over to the clear wall and touch it with my nose.
Geez, this stuff is thick. This cage looks like it's made for the Hulk.
Sighing, I sit back down and lean against the glass. I'm going to be in so much trouble. I could tell them it was because of the Wolf, but I don't think they'd believe that a voice in my head could control my body. Well, maybe Bruce would, but he's not exactly a lawyer…
I blink, and then frown. How did the Wolf control me? As far as I know, it's just an annoying voice in my head, not something that can take over my body! Well, I guess it was because I actually agreed with it, and I was also really emotional at the time. Aww, man, I hope I don't have to start battling it over the control of my body like Bruce does with the Other Guy. That'd be a living-

My ears perk as I hear footsteps approaching the 'Cage Room', as I now am calling it. I look up in time to see the door open and one of the engineers from earlier walk in. She has my collar in her hands, which looks much more high-tech now. I mentally groan.
She stops right as she's about to close the door, staring at me with wide eyes. She looks surprised, and a bit scared. The engineer lifts her hand to her ear and whispers, "Why didn't you tell me she was awake?"
There's a pause, and I strain my ears to hear the com link. Coulson's voice faintly says, "...going to, but we just found out a moment ago. She wasn't supposed to wake up so soon."
"Well, what do I do?" she whispers furiously. I hear Coulson reply, "Get back here. You can put it on her later."
The engineer mutters a reply and lowers her hand. With a wary glance at me, she turns back around and exits.
I stare after her numbly. Now what?
Sighing, I try walking again. My body still aches, and as I stumble to my paws, the skin around my neck tingles. I hope the collar didn't singe my neck fur off. Grunting, I take a step forward, wincing as pain shoots through my paw. Damn, how many bolts of electricity were in that thing?
Taking another step, I wince again, but force myself onward and continue walking. It takes a while, but I manage to make a full circle around the cage, leaning against the glass for support at times. By the time I reach the end of my ring, my muscles are looser and I'm able to walk a bit more smoothly. My front still hurts, though, and I take a moment to sit back and lick my sore paws.
As I do, I hear someone approaching the room again. Pausing, I lift up my head and watch as the door opens. To my surprise, Bruce walks in. He doesn't look wary like the engineer and walks towards me calmly. He stops a foot away from my cage and gazes at me.
I sigh, leaning against the glass, and morph back into my human form. The scientist smiles a bit and then sits down, leaning against my cage as well so only the glass separates our shoulders from touching. Neither of us speak, and silence presses on my ears as hard as noise.
I sigh again, realizing that he's not going to be the first to break it. My voice quiet, just above a whisper, I murmur, "...Hi…."
"Hi." he replies just as softly. There's a moment of silence again, and then I ask, "How long was I out?"
He shifts a little and answers, "Just a couple of hours."
I blink in surprise, "Really?"
Bruce chuckles softly and says, "Yeah. We were all surprised. Your collar has… well, basically a built-in taser. But it's stronger than most tasers- you should've been knocked out for at least five hours. The metal chips fried themselves in the process, and they were going to replace them while you were out, but you woke up early."
I grunt, and then murmur, "So….back there...um…" I pause, unsure of how to continue, "That was…. something."
"The Wolf took control, didn't it?" Bruce says and I nod, "That's what I thought. I told the others, and I think they believed me. I'm not so sure about the SHIELD agents, though."
I groan and rub my forehead with my hand, "Did…." I hesitate, "Is, uh… is Fury okay?"
To my relief, Bruce nods, "He's fine. He's going to come and talk to you soon, but he let me come first."
"Why?" I ask.
"To help you with the Wolf, of course." he replies, "Now, when you attacked Director Fury, you were very… emotional, right?"
I nod and say, "I was just-" I sigh and continue, "So angry at him. At SHIELD. I was just so freaking sick of all the secrets, and I hate how the Wolf keeps bugging me, and the stupid Lab, and all the pressure and I…."
I cut myself off and let my shoulders slump. When I speak again, my voice is more like a whimper, "I just don't know what to do. I screwed up with SHIELD, and Madison is-"
My eyes widen and I groan, "Oh, Madison. What is she going to say?"
Glancing at Bruce with tired eyes, I say, "I just… I just wish sometimes that I wasn't a mutant and I was just her sister. Like back before she found out what I was. Back then she didn't know, and she and I were really sisters. Of course, she tries to treat me the same now, and she kinda does, but there's just something… different, ya know?"
I rub my eyes and add, "It was all really easy before SHIELD got involved with my life. I mean, I love you guys, and some of the agents are really cool and stuff, but….you know… what if they hadn't found out?"
Bruce nods and says quietly, "Emotions can be very strong. Anger is one of the strongest."
Tilting my head, I say, "I thought it was grief that was the strongest. I mean, when people cry at funerals and stuff, or when, like, somebody gets killed and their buddy goes all like 'damn, I'm gonna murder you now, sucka!' to their killer and then the grief is turned into rage…"
I pause, stopping my ramblings. The scientist looks at me and asks, "Is that what happened? Your grief turned into rage?"
Knitting my eyebrows, I gaze at him in confusion, "Why would I have grief?"
Bruce turns and stares at me, equally confused. Then, it hits me. My real family.
"Oh," I say, looking down. My heart clenches and I give myself a hard shake, "I...I guess I was pretty sad about that. More like mad, though. And, honestly, so much had been happening that it just melted into all the problems."
I sigh and turn away, my back leaning against the glass. "Man," I murmur, "They really sold me to the Lab? Gee, they were probably drunk teens that-" I cut myself off and shake my head, "Idiots."
I hear Bruce shuffle a little and say, "Zoey… I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner. I should've-"
"No, it's okay." I interrupt, "It was Fury's fault."
Silence meets my words, and I pick at my shoelaces.
Finally, Bruce says, "I know that there's a lot for you to be mad at him about. And you have every right to be angry. But you need to learn how to control your anger. If not, then at least learn how to get the Wolf to leave you alone when you are angry."
"How do I do that? It's so… influential."
The scientist laughs and says, "Well, I think you should know that not everybody's a good influence. Take Tony, for example."
We both laugh and I feel myself perking up a little bit. Once we calm down, Bruce asks, "Remember my notebook?"
"Yeah."
"Have you tried anything in it?"
"...no. Sorry, I've been… busy."
"Mmm hmm." he lowers his voice, "Well, I would talk about it with you now, but SHIELD is probably watching us through the cameras, so we'll take a look at it together a little later."
I frown a little and ask, "So…. they're watching all of this?"
"Most likely."
I sigh and turn back to him. He looks at me and I ask, "I'm in trouble, aren't I?"
He gives me a half smile and replies, "If it makes you feel any better, at least they take you seriously now."
I grin, and suddenly there's a loud grunt outside. We both turn towards the door, listening. I hear Fury's voice through the wall, saying, "No, stop! You two get back there!"
There's the sound of loud shuffling, and then I hear Madison's voice, "But we have to go see Zoey! It's important!"
"You can talk to her later." Fury replies, sounding irritated. Madison pleads, "No, please! It'll be quick, I promise."
"I said no, now get back to- Faolan stop!"
Suddenly, the door swings open and said mutant appears in the doorway. Behind him, Fury scowls, and I notice his hand gripping Madison's arm. After a moment, the director growls, "You have five minutes. Be quick."
He nods at Bruce, who stands, and then the two of them leave silently. Faolan and Madison immediately run up to the cage.
My step-sister opens her mouth to speak, but Faolan beats her to it, "Oh, Guitain, I was so worried when they shocked you! I had no idea what was going on, and you were so angry and then you suddenly dropped to the floor! I'm so sorry, I should've had your back, but I didn't want to cause trouble with Fury when he's done so much for me, and I didn't know what to do and-"
"Whoa, stop," I laugh, interrupting his ramblings, "It's alright, I'm fine."
Faolan's eyes light up, and I notice that his tail is wagging. "Oh, Guitain." he whines, speaking wolf, "I'm so, so sorry!"
"It's alright," I repeat, and then put my hand on the glass. Faolan puts his paw against the cage as well, so that the glass is the only thing separating us. I smile sorrowfully, wanting to hug them. I hate being in this...this container. I feel so restrained and… alone.
"I'm just glad they didn't decide to shock you too." I say and we both laugh.
Faolan presses his forehead to the glass and whines, "I've missed you, Guitain. Ever since Christmas you've been so…. I dunno. Secluded. Lonely…."
My smile falters a little, and I find myself touching my head to the glass too. Like our hands, only the glass separates our foreheads from touching. I'm faintly reminded of the day that we were in Central Park, playing in the forest. His eyes mesmerize me again, so many different shades of green. Even in the artificial light of the Helicarrier they're beautiful.
"I've missed you too." I murmur, feeling my heart ache. We stay like that for a few moments, but it feels like hours. Then, Madison suddenly clears her throat, "Alright, lovebirds, you can continue this later with less cameras and less...me."
I jerk away from the glass, blushing. I'm never gonna hear the end of this from Uncle Tony, if he's watching.
Madison turns to me and not-so-subtly nudges Faolan out of the way. "Do you really feel something different between us?" she asks, "Now that I know about your, and my, powers?"
I blink, realizing that she must've been watching my conversation with Bruce. Sighing, I say, "Don't tell me you haven't seen it."
Madison opens her mouth, and then closes it. "I guess…" she pauses, "I've tried to make it the same, but you can't really push something like superpowers aside. It...I mean…."
She cocks her head and asks almost hesitantly, "Are… are you angry?"
My eyes widen, "What? No! I could never be mad at you, Madison. You're my sister."
She smiles, but then looks somber, "What about… well, now that you know about your real family…. will that change anything?"
I shake my head, "Nope. At least not negatively. In fact, I'll be even closer to you guys 'cause I know my real family are a bunch of jerks."
Madison sighs with relief and I smile.
"Anyway," she drawls, "Got that wolf under control? The last thing I hear was 'turning grief into rage' before I was running here."
I shrug and reply, "Well, I'm trying. It's not bothering me now." My body is still recovering from the electricity, and my brain feels fuzzy. I can barely sense the Wolf through all the fizz.
"Good. And anyways, I can always push it out with my wonderfully crazy mind." Madison taps her head, and then grins creepily, "I shall always be here to defend your mind, Zoey Colt. I shall be your mental protector against the dark forces of insanity."
She whirls around and cackles like a maniac, "MWAHAHAHAHAHAAA! Alright, Furry, we're done. You can be mean to her now."
"So much for being my defender." I mutter as she walks out of the door, Faolan following. The male mutant glances at me and I smile comfortingly. As they walk out, Director Fury passes them, grumbling, "It's Fury, not furry."
"Whatever!" comes Madison's faint reply and he sighs, turning to me. "She's almost as bad as you." he walks down towards me and growls, "Almost."
I watch him approach the cage and notice the bandages on his face. Two on his head and two on his jaw. I wince and ask stupidly, "Uh…. are you alright?" He stops and glares at me. I grin sheepishly and take a step back. Maybe I can get back on his good side if I'm less defiant.
The director grunts and reaches for his bandages, "Why don't you see for yourself?"
He removes the dressings and I cringe at the sight. He's got four long, stitched, scratches on his face, two on his forehead and two on his jaw. One of the scratches on his forehead starts high up, tearing jaggedly downward and stopping right above his good eye, narrowly missing it. The other is shorter, grazing his left temple. I notice that his eye-patch is new, and realize that my fang must've snapped the string.
The two wounds on his jaw are more like gashes- deeper, but shorter. The one on the right starts at his jaw and stops at his cheek while the one on the left is a simple gouge just above his jawbone. I note that his wounds on the right side of his face are worse than the ones on the left.
….
…. This looks sloppy. I really need to work on my bite.
…..
...Too soon?
I lower my head, avoiding his gaze, and mutter, "Sorry."
"I'd certainly hope so," Fury retorts sharply. He starts pacing around the cell, never taking his gaze off of me, "I want to know just what you were thinking when you attacked me. Agents Romanoff and Barton told me in the med bay about the 'wolf' in your head and what it wants you to do. They are still my agents, Zoey," he stops and looks me in the eye, "Although they're part of your little team or family or whatever you call it- they're still loyal to me."
"Well, if they're so loyal, then why didn't they tell you sooner?" I snap, immediately regretting it. The director stares at me for a few moments, and then, to my surprise, gestures to the cage, "Do you know what cell this is?"
I arch an eyebrow and shake my head.
"It was the one we have for containing the Hulk." he replies, "It's also the one that Loki was kept in temporarily."
I tilt my head, confused, "Loki? Who's that?"
Fury keeps on pacing and replies, "He's the crazed god that attacked our world in the Battle of Manhattan."
"Oh," I mutter, remembering the blurry green, gold, and black figure on our TV screen a few years ago. When the battle began, we were all hiding inside the house, watching the news anxiously in case any of those alien things came to Malibu. Thankfully, none did.
"I must be in a lot of trouble to end up here." I say and Fury nods, "Well, you did just attack the leader of one of the most important government agencies."
I sigh and roll my shoulders, "So, uh, what's my punishment? Besides the babysitter thing, 'cause there's no way you're gonna let me roam around alone after all this."
He nods and says, "I think we have to adjust the contract we made a couple of years ago."
The director then takes some papers out of his pockets. I crane my neck to look at them, but he starts speaking, "You will be non-aggressive-" he gives me a look before continuing, "to your fellow colleagues, under constant surveillance, obedient and non-destructive, and you must wear your collar at all times."
"Okay," I begin, but he interrupts, "You will also be working with Doctor Banner every week to learn how to keep your wolf at bay. That was his wish, not mine. I have a hard time believing that a voice in your head can control your body. Banner's makes sense, because his transformation is due to the chemical reactions in his body to anger. But yours…." he stops and glares at me, "You have a choice."
"I-" I start, and then sigh, "It's hard to explain. I was just really angry, and the Wolf was bugging me in my head, and it's so persuasive and influential. I just….lost it, I guess. When it told me to attack you, I was like 'wait, what?' but then it sort of took control of my body and I pounced but-"
"Hold up," he interrupts, raising his hands, "Did it tell you why it wanted you to attack me?"
I nod and reply, "It wants me to be the leader instead of you 'cause you're, like, the rival alpha." I say the last part dramatically and wave my hands. "I'm guessing it's because of a wolf's will to lead, and you're the boss of a bunch of people, so the Wolf is all like, 'rebel and take his place' and 'oh they'd be so much better if you were the boss'." I roll my eyes.
Fury gazes at me and asks, "And do you agree with what it says?"
Hesitating, I scratch the back of my head and reply cautiously, "Most of the time, no. I mean, I'm way too lazy to have a job like yours. But, like I said, I was really angry at you for keeping so many secrets and the Wolf was egging me on, so...yeah."
We both fall silent for a few moments, and then Fury sighs.
"Well, since we're clearing things up, I guess it's a good time to apologize."
My eyes widen comically. The great Nick Fury is apologizing? To moi?
"I'm sorry for all the secrecy, Zoey, but you have to understand that SHIELD keeps secrets for a reason. If we had told you about your blood family, you would've been distracted." I open my mouth to object, but he cuts me off with a look, "Zoey."
I pause for a moment, and then sigh, "Yeah, I guess."
Fury nods and continues, "In the future, I promise we'll let you in on more things if I'm sure that you can handle it. This may surprise you, but you and your sister have great potential."
Again, my eyes widen. Okay, did Fury, like, swap personalities with someone?
"Although you can be defiant and stubborn," he emphasizes on that, "You both are eager, determined, and you know what's right. Well, most of the time."
I stare at him blankly. Raising an eyebrow, I drawl, "And so….?"
"And so, that's that. The past is behind us. Now, are you going to be an ally, or an enemy?"
"Well, I'd be pretty screwed if I were your enemy, so, yeah, we're friends."
Fury smiles a little and then says, "Good, because we have work to do."
He suddenly presses a button on some sort of control panel and one of the glass windows slides away. I blink in surprise, "Wait, that's it?"
The director nods and gestures me to come out, "Consider yourself lucky. I'm not always so forgiving. The only reason I'm letting you off the hook is because we're about to head into battle with those scientists, so we're going to need all the help we can get. That, and you're still young and naive."
I huff and he puts back on his bandages. Then, we both walk out of the Cage Room, side by side.
Next to him, I'm feeling kinda small. I mean, I feel small around Faolan and all, but Fury, like, radiates authority constantly. I can't believe the Wolf thought I could take on him.
Skipping a little to keep up with his brisk pace, I ask, "Did you guys figure out a plan while I was out?"
"No," he replies, "I was in the med bay and the others were trying to keep things under control. We have to plan quickly, though, or we won't be able to catch up with the transport plane."
"Right," I say, and then ask, "Is Madison coming with us?"
Fury glances at me, "Do you think she could help?"
"Yeah," I reply, "She learns really quickly, remember? So she's pretty good at archery now. And she can record what's happening, or stay in the jet while we fight and then help the mutants. Or she could sneak past us while we're fighting and get the mutants!"
"You're talking as if we're going to the Lab in the mountain." Fury says and I tilt my head, "Well, we're going to eventually, right? Maybe we can split up into two groups and attack both the transport and the Lab at the same time so they won't send in backup if we just attack the plane."
"Good idea," he compliments, "But save it for when we start planning with the others."
I nod and look ahead. Fury continues walking at a quick, unwavering pace, striding through the halls confidently. He seems to know the Helicarrier like the back of his hand, whereas I soon lose track of where we are and simply follow his lead.
The Cage Room must be far from the Bridge because it takes a few minutes of walking before we stop at the door. Fury opens the door and we step inside. All of the Avengers are sitting around the table, looking anxious. They all glance up as we enter and stand.
Immediately, I notice the same engineer woman walk up to us cautiously. She has my collar in her hands and I stifle a groan.
"Er," she stampers, "Can I, uh…"
Before Fury can reply, I grunt, "Whatever. Just...just put it on."
She lets out a quiet sigh of relief and moves towards my neck. As she puts it on, I glance at Fury and say, "After this, I better get some cool updates on this thing. Like, wings, or- ooh, ooh! Can I get, like, a laser?"
The director huffs and replies, "So long as you don't 'accidently' singe off our clothes."
I hear a familiar click and the engineer backs away. We turn back towards the Avengers, and a small silence erupts between us. Madison and Faolan glance at each other, but say nothing. I shift awkwardly in my place, unsure of how to break the silence.
Then, Fury says, "Let's plan quickly and then we're off. The clock is ticking, so let's hurry."
He walks up to the table, and I notice a big tablet on it. The director taps on it a few times, and then says, "As you all know, we have two objectives: the Lab, and the transport plane heading to China. The Lab probably contains the most weapons, but the plane has the protection of the Chinese military. I know we were thinking of just attacking the transport, but Zoey brought up an issue that would be a problem if we did so."
To my surprise, Fury looks at me to continue. I blink, taken aback, and then look up at the Avengers. They look surprised too, but I can see some of the old warmth in their eyes. Good, hopefully they won't hold my attack against me. Searching for Clint and Natasha, I see that they look a little suspicious, but still have a familiar glint in their eyes.
Smiling a little, I speak up, "If we go after the transport plane, they could call reinforcements from the Lab."
"So…" Bruce says, "We split up, right?"
I nod and Steve asks, "But if we split up, there will be less of us. We'll be outnumbered in both places."
Damn, he's right. I open my mouth to reply, but Fury beats me to it, "While I was in the med bay, I ordered the agents to prepare the fighter jets. They'll be accompanying you to the transport to hold off the Chinese military while you deal with the plane. And I'll be sending my most experienced agents with the rest of you to the Lab."
I perk up at that. Cool!
"Wow, really? I didn't know these agents could fight!" We all turn to stare at Madison. She frowns and asks, "What?"
Rolling his eyes, Uncle Tony says, "Alright, then. Who's going where?"
Clint comments, "The transport is already over the ocean, so the ones who go after it should be able to fly."
"That's Thor and Tony." Natasha says, "We've got to have more than that going."
"I'll go," the archer replies, "I can shoot from a jet or something."
"Good." Fury says, "Meanwhile, Zoey, Rogers, Agent Romanoff, and Faolan will go to the Lab. Banner…" He glances at Bruce, who seems like he doesn't know where he belongs. The scientist stampers, "Uh, I guess I'll go with them. I'll stay behind in the jet unless things get ugly."
Fury nods and turns to the rest of the Avengers, "Anything else?"
"Wait!" Madison exclaims, "What about me? I wanna go!" Steve glances uncertainly at her and says, "Maybe you should stay here and-"
"No!" she protests, "I will not let my sister risk her life alone!"
They all look to Fury, but I say, "She can sneak past them and get the mutants out while we fight."
"Yeah!" Madison declares, "And I'm good at archery now!"
She takes out The Jabberjay, which, as stated before, never leaves her side. After glancing at it, Thor comments, "Tis always better when fighting alongside siblings. My brother would be with me in almost every battle."
"Alright, fine." Fury concedes, "We're running out of time. Let's get going; I want both teams in the air in twenty minutes."
With that, we all split up.
Madison, Faolan, and I run to our room and slam the door. Immediately, I start rummaging through my suitcase, taking out my Nightlock bow and plopping it beside me.
As I continue foraging, Madison asks, "What are you doing?"
"I'm gonna change. Gonna wear more protecting stuff." As I speak, I pull out a heavy leather jacket. Putting it down, I grab another shirt and a tank top before searching for pants. "You should wear black." I add, "Like a ninja, so you can blend into the cave and become one with the shadows." I end dramatically, yanking out some sweat pants.
"Good idea." Madison starts scouring her suitcase. Meanwhile, I take off my shirt and put on a bra. As I continue to dress, I catch Madison glancing at me. Smirking, I ask, "Enjoying the view?"
She looks at me deadpanned and replies, "Maybe not me, but…" Glancing over her shoulder, she calls, "Hey Faolan, you wanna quit staring and go into the bathroom while we change?"
Immediately, I feel my face flush. Once I hear Faolan close the bathroom door, I force my blush away and continue changing. Madison does the same, although I can hear her stifling laughter.
Standing up, I strap Nightlock on my back, along with the quiver. A few minutes later, she stands as well and secures The Jabberjay. Then, she looks up at me and we stare at each other. Her face is red, and she's grinning like an idiot. I glare at her and she bursts out laughing.
"I'm sorry!" she laughs, "I just- hahahaha!"
She bends over with her hands on her knees and gasps for breath. I scoff and roll my eyes, "You know, you could've told me earlier!"
"I thought you had known he was there!" Madison giggles, breathing heavily, "But apparently not!" She cracks up all over again and I glare. Turning around, I call out, "Alright, Faolan, you can come out."
The male wolf mutant steps out of the bathroom, looking embarrassed. He's already wearing some pretty decent clothes (even though I can't get over the fact of how weird clothes look on him) so I nod and ask, "You ready?"
"Yes." he replies and I turn to Madison, who's finally breathing somewhat normally, "Do you wanna snatch some knives from the training room before we head out?"
She raises an eyebrow and asks, "Do you really think that's a good idea?"
"Yeah," I reply, "I'm not letting you come with just a bow. We're getting knives."
As I walk towards the door, Madison sighs behind me, "Ohhh, this is going to be a long day."
Grinning wickedly, I yell loudly in an Asgardian accent, "Let us prepare for battle!"
No offense to any Chinese people out there. I'm sure your military isn't evil, but I needed some extra defense on the bad guys side.
Anyway, hope you all liked this chapter! I just had to add that last part in there, with the dressing and everything. Couldn't help myself
