Hey all! It's been awhile...my brother and I were reading all my previous posts and he realized he never gave me some chapters that he had written!

So, here's some for you.

Written by my brother.

Vaan still couldn't believe that they were being forced to do this.

After all the party of adventurers from Dalmasca had traveled long, and endured many harrowing adventures to get here. First they had navigated the swirling Estersand to the entrance of the Yaardang Labrynth, where many an adventurer had gotten lost, in order to arrive at the gates of the great Fortress of Nalbina.

After filling up on supplies and hearing the latest whine from Jovi, they had set out to climb up and over the great mountainous region known as the Mosphoran Highwaste. After scaling the craggy cliffs and shark peeks they had stepped into the forest known as the Salikawood. After dealing with a set of surprisingly lazy Moogles they had continued their travels along the Phon Coast to the Hunters camp, and then onward onto the Tchita Uplands, where the vast number of serpents that stood between them and their goal was mind boggling.

Finally they had ventured into the famed Sochen Cave Palace and did battle with the fearsome Mandragor Brothers and a Spirit who just didn't know when to move on to the afterlife.

So when they had finally managed to sneak their way into the city they were shocked that they were unable to procure a simple Aircab in order to get to their destination of Draklor Laboratories.

Apparently in order to move around in this city you needed something known as a Chop. Now the only Chop that Vaan knew about before this trip was the variety that was made from Pork, so when he heard he had to collect Chops for the Aircab driver he assumed he was on some sort of fetch quest to the local butcher shop but such was not the case.

"So let me get this straight" Vaan asked the Aircab driver "You are telling me that the economy of the most dominant empire in Ivalice is run on some sort of trade and barter system involving these wooden tokens?"

"Yes" said the driver.

"And you can't simply trade goods, like spare weapons or valuables, for these tokens you have to gossip to get them?" Vaan asked perplexed.

"And do good deeds!" said the driver proudly "Never forget the good deeds!"

"Right" Vaan said "This is total Bullcroc Shi . . ."

"We'll get right on finding those!" said Penelo interrupting Vaan and pulling him away.

We have an on-going gag about the "Good deeds", in case you missed it. (It's appeared in other stories,)

Hope you enjoyed!
