Chapter 13: Lost in Time part 3

Rage and Dr. Whooves finally get the TARDIS through the Space Time rift of Chaos Controlto find themselves in what looked like The Crystal Empire.

"Hold up..." The Doctor says "This isn't right we are still in an alternate dimension..."

"Strange..." Rage says "I had us set to return to the right Dimensional Time stream... I wounder if it's not the time line that is screwed up but the Dimensional links."

"Er the what now?" The Doctor asks

"Well it stands to reason that when I set the Chaos Control to go to one point your TARDIS detects we get sent to a different dimension around the same time though so it's not the time line we have been chasing its the broken links and The Chaos Emeralds must be altering our course to fix them... but why would a dimensional disturbance cause so much trouble?" Rage wonders

"I wish I knew so at this point I guess we try and find what needs fixing?" he asks "At least comaired to our dimension?" The Doctor asks

"Yeah but this is the Crystal Kingdom but why do I feel a dark presence?" Rage asks

"How should I know?" the Doctor asks "All I know is you seem to know a lot about this dimensional stuff so you go do what you need to and I will be off on my own stuff for a while."

"Very well." Rage says stepping into the snowy tundra and walking through the storm when he hears a voice yell

"Incoming!" it yells as Rage turns to see his Ponyville friends rush by him and Shining Armor stopping

"You there Rage hurry to the force field before Sombra catches us!" he says

Rage was surprised that Shining Armor knew his name already but when he sees the cloud of darkness he flew past the others and they all barely made it. 'holy crap that was the largest cloud of Darkness I have ever seen!' he thinks to himself

"Rage what are you doing out there alone?" Twilight asks "You could have been killed!" she yells

"I can handle myself Twilight." Rage says looking at her "But... how do you know my name?" he asks and they all look at each other "We have never met." he looks at them for an answer 'well not yet anyways' he thinks

"Oh well I am sorry you remind us of a friend called Chaotic Rage but now that you mention it your an Alicorn not a Unicorn." Twilight says "So who are you?"

"My name is Burning Rage but please just call me Rage." he replies

"You sure sound a lot like our friend Burning Rage." Applejack says

"what a surprise." Rage chuckles nervously "Now who was that just now?"

"That was Sombra a unicorn who was once the evil king of the Crystal Empire." Twilight says "We were looking for the Crystal Heart when he attacked us and Shining Armor came looking and then saved us." Twilight explains as they return to the Crystal Palace where Cadence was doing her spell and soon passes out as the shield goes down.

"Oh no! With out my magic... Sombra will get in!" Shining Armor gasps as they watch the cloud of Darkness close in.

"Chaos Barrier!" Rage says with an echoing voice as a shield of bright red energy replaces the other one.

"Rage what was that?" Rainbow Dash asks in awe

"That barrier will not hold for long Sombra can chip away at it and The Chaos Emeralds will only do so much." Rage says "hurry and find the heart!"

"Right!" Twilight says as they all split up soon Rage gets caught looking into a door and what happens was surprising.

Rage enters it and finds himself at Canterlot where Celestia was on the ground barely conscious and black colored Twilight with red eyes stood over her with an evil grin. He looks at himself to see he was in a hedgehog form his normal form

"Oh no!" Rage gasps he had been transported to another dimension again... one where his worst nightmare had happened when Twilight went completely corrupt and took out Celestia. "Twilight Sparkle!" he yells

"Hrm?" she asks looking at him "Who are you?" she asks

'Oh okay I guess this was when I never came to Equestria...' Rage thinks before replying "My name is Rage, Rage the Hedgehog the last of The Chaos Guardians. It is my job to stop all darkness in the worlds of light!" he says "And if you are with darkness then it would be my duty to stop-" Rage then feels everything fade as he sees Fluttershy nudging him

"Rage are you okay?" she asks "You sorta conked out there and were muttering to yourself."

"I am fine..." Rage sighs "Did I miss anything?"

"Yes..." Fluttershy whimpers "Sombra succeeded..." she says

"What?!" Rage yells

"You and I are the last two I was able to find you and save you." Fluttershy says

"Well thanks you Fluttershy now it is time I do what I do best." Rage responds standing up and walking up the stairs near themselves

"Rage what are you doing?!" asks the shy Pegasus "You don't plan on fighting Sombra do you?"

"I do..." Rage says "I cannot let him win... I will not let him win." he says as Fluttershy grabs him

"Please don't Rage he will kill you!" she begs as Rage breaks free

"I am sorry but I have to do this... as the last of The Chaos Guardians it is my duty to keep the balance of light and darkness and this upsets it." Rage says as he walks up the stairs where Sombra awaited

"Who are you?" he asks looking at him "And why are you not working?!"

"My name is Burning Rage the last of The Chaos Guardians and I am here to defeat you Sombra!" Rage says

"You and what army? You are no match for my dark magic!" Sombra chuckles shooting a bolt at Rage who avoids it and summons the Chaos Emeralds "What are those?" Sombra asks in curiosity

"The Chaos Emeralds..." Rage says with an angry glare

"Oh my don't you look scary!" Sombra laughs at Rage's facial expression. "What are those supposed to do?!"

"This..." Rage growls as he glows with energy until he is turned into a golden Alicorn

"What kind of sorcery is this?!" Sombra yells

"It is called a Super Form!" Super Rage says "And it is more powerful than anything you throw at me!"

"We will see about that!" Sombra laughs throwing magic at Rage for no effect "This is Impossible!" he gasps

"A Super Form is invincible to all attacks." Rage says "My turn..." he chuckles before he hits Sombra with a Chaos Beam forcing him to the ground

"you... think this is over?!" he pants

"With this it will be!" Rage yells as a beaming light glows on his horn "Light!" he yells as a large blast of Light energy sends Sombra away. Rage then powers back down to his normal form where he falls to the ground and the mane 6 run up to him

"Rage!" Twilight says "Are you okay?"

"I'm...fine..." Rage pants "Just a little beaten up..." he smirks

"Come on I will take you back to Ponyville where you can rest." Twilight says

"Thank...you." Rage smiles as Twilight and Rainbow Dash carry him to the train and into a guest bed in the Library in Ponyville

Days Later...

(Rage POV)

Slowly I open my eyes and sit up in a bed. Was that all a dream? The time travel? Twilight and her friends? Even Sombra? I don't know and at this point I am not sure I want to know. All I remember is passing out soon after the battle between Sombra and myself. I wonder where I am... I mean it looks familiar like I have been here before but... I don't know why.

Soon I hear a voice "Rage you are awake!" I see Twilight walk in. This was no dream... Twilight is still a Unicorn. "I was afraid I lost you for a minute."

"Yeah?" I ask turning to look at her. "So how long have I been out then?"

"A couple of days." a dark red Unicorn with a smokey gray mane says. The mane had one lng bright red stripe and his tail was small and messy the same smokey gray but the tips were red. His Cutie Mark... was seven Emeralds like mine! "You know the energy you gave off when sleeping made me think of another type."

"Who are you exactly?" I ask the unicorn

"Why my name is Chatoic Rage but just call me Rage." he says with a bow "And you are?"

"My name is Burning Rage The Last of The Chaos Guardians." I respond getting out of the bed and the two look at my cutie mark in disbelief

"Why we have the same Cutie Mark!" Rage says

"I see..." I replied "Well you know I have another name..."

"You do?!" Twilight asks "What is it?!"

"Rage, Rage the Hedgehog." I reply and the other Rage looks at me in shock

"Amazing you are the me from another dimension!" he says

"I am?!" I gasp
