my life was dull til you came into it
you changed things, you were a perfect fit.
sweet and happy music was playing once more,
you were the person i was secretly singing for.
words and rhymes poured down on me
next thing i know, i was writing poetry.
you've brought me back what i once lost,
all this inspiration, you have caused.
little did i know, you'd soon leave,
for no reason you're gone,
yet i still refuse to believe.
the smile you've painted on my face,
in a snap you turned back into a frown.
my world, you once rebuilt,
you destroyed, everything's upside down.
love left when it hasn't even started,
leaving me here, alone, crying on my bed.
