Did they like change the way the fan fiction website looks or is it just me? I mean when ever I click to read a story or something, the whole screen is gray and the words are white. It wasn't like that before and I was just wondering if it's like that for anyone else. It kind of gets on my nerves and I was just wondering. Anyways, thank you for reading and please leave a comment after you read. Thank you so much! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
"I have to go." Annabeth cried quickly as she struggled to jump from the booth. Luke, who was sitting across from her, gazed at the girl curiously, wondering what had caused her sudden change. When he offered to buy her lunch at Clarisse's Café he didn't expect her to leave so soon- definitely not before they even began eating. Yet the blond haired girl was already on her feet, striding across the café in a purposeful manner, leaving behind her chicken salad and triple-berry blend smoothie. Luke noticed the girl's frantic glances towards the other booths. Whirling around Luke froze; eyes locked on the small boy cowered down into the soft, plush seats. Nico was bent down, another boy leaning down over him- a guy that definitely wasn't Percy. Luke watched intensely as Nico mouthed something heatedly to the other boy before shaking his head. Luke thought it was cute, the way Nico seemed so flustered, but all the adoring flooded away as the other boy captured Nico's lips quickly. Luke didn't like it for more reasons than one; first off, Luke had feelings for Nico, although he doubted they would ever come together. Secondly, Nico was with Percy Jackson. Percy fucking Jackson- the boy who knocked the shit out of Luke for touching his boyfriend.
Luke wouldn't have believed that Nico was cheating on Percy unless he saw it with his own eyes. It was strange- the boy seemed so utterly pure (although he was slightly depressing at times), as though he could never do anything wrong. Luke didn't know where Annabeth had run off to, but he assumed this was the cause. Turning around slowly Luke refused to turn back around. He didn't want to see this. He didn't want know about this. It wasn't any of his business anyways. He liked Nico a lot, but not enough to straighten the boy out. He wouldn't get involved in this.
Nico lay down in the booth, not comprehending what had just happened. Leo loved him? He just kissed him? Twice!? Why the hell was everything so fucked up!? He didn't want Leo to love him. He didn't want Leo to feel anything for him! He did care about Leo, but only in a friendship sort of way- although he thought they could be a couple in time if Percy wasn't around. The think is….Percy was around- is around. Nico loved Percy with all his heart and wouldn't do anything to hurt the boy.
"Leo...I-I….why," Nico stammered as he glared viciously at the boy before him. He didn't know what to say anymore, "Why the fuck would you do that?!"
Several people at nearby tables turned to gaze at Nico as the boy cursed loudly. Sitting up in his seat Nico balled his hands into fists and clenched them at his sides, watching with a withered glare as a few people eyed him suspiciously. A young girl, who was obviously pregnant, took her two young children, who were also watching Nico curiously, by the hands and led them a few tables away, not wanting them to hear the loud cursing. There was no reply as Leo leaped forward, pressing his lips against Nico's own before shoving his tongue in the boy's mouth, taking him entirely by surprise once more- although it shouldn't have been so surprising. Nico felt Leo's own tongue clawing at his mouth, shoving down his throat. It was awful! He couldn't believe Leo was doing this to him, but there was a strange hint of pleasure coursing through this action. One that Nico didn't want to feel, but it was there. Heat slowly pooled in his stomach, giving him that hazy feeling that he always got with Percy. Nico loosened his shoulders slightly before gently beginning to kiss Leo back. It took him a moment, but Nico's tongue began to tangle with Leo's, fighting for dominance. Nico didn't know what he was doing. He didn't care. He like the feeling of Leo, the taste of Leo, the way Leo's hands were traveling up his leg, massaging his thigh tenderly. Nico didn't push Leo off of him or break the kiss- not until Leo's hand moved up to the center of his legs, squeezing his groin. Nico's eyes widened, pulling away from Leo almost instantly. A string of saliva trailed between them as the two broke apart. Automatically shame washed over Nico's entire form, knowing that he had just done something awful, so vile. He gazed up at Leo with guilty eyes, knowing that Percy would never forgive him if he knew what happened.
"I love you, Nico. I truly love you. Percy may treat you like a king, but you're my world. I love you." Leo repeated quietly into Nico's ear before the boy pushed him away.
"Leo," Nico said calmly, sinking his nails into his palms before letting out a hiss of anger, "Get the fuck up. I'm leaving."
Leo didn't hesitate as he clambered to his feet, allowing Nico to slink pass him and head across the café. Guilt just ate away at his heart as Nico moved in tense, jerking motions. He hated himself. He hated everything that he was. He didn't want to hurt Percy, but Leo was just so….Leo. Marching across the café Nico noted the way several people staring at him, having seen the short scene that unfolded moments ago. Glancing to the left Nico saw the little boy, the one whose pregnant mother had moved the family over a few seats, grinned wildly at him before waving gently. "Bye-bye!" The little boy called energetically as Nico walked by him. Two of the boy's front teeth were missing and Nico knew he was no older that six or seven. Smiling breezily, Nico looked at the boy before moving on, allowing his grin to fade once he was out of the boy's vision. Stepping out of the café and onto the sidewalk, Nico gazed out vividly, not knowing what to do next. He was confused. He was hurting.
Leaning against the side of the café wall Nico glared down at the ground , wondering why his life had to be so messed up. The café door opened and Nico didn't bother to look and see who was coming out. He already knew.
Leo approached Nico cautiously, as though he was an animal that need to be domesticated. The worn tennis shoes entered Nico's line of vision as he stared down at the ground, Leo moving close to him and gently placing caring hands on his shoulders. He wanted the boy to get away from him. He wanted Leo to just leave him alone, but he wouldn't say anything. He just wanted everything to disappear, but it wasn't his responsibility to fix it. He was just going to go with it this time. Nico was tired off fighting; with Percy, with Leo, with Bianca, with Luke, with Annabeth. He was done with all of it.
"Nico, don't be like this. Just look at me. Look me in my eyes." Leo demanded as he shook Nico's shoulders harshly in a short, shocking motion. Nico leisurely lifted his gaze, blank orbs looking directly through him instead of at him. "I love you. I really do. I know I shouldn't have done that. You have Percy and I don't want to destroy that. I just care a lot about you. I want you to be completely happy. I can't change your feelings for him, but I can tell you this; if you ever feel like things between you and Percy are falling apart, if you ever become tired of him or he doesn't treat you well, call me. I'll always be here and I will always love you. Just know that Nico. Ti amo."
Nico stood there for a moment, feeling the other boy's arms slowly drop from his shoulders, before jerking away harshly. He didn't have anything else to say to Leo. He didn't have anything else that he wanted Leo to do for him. "Your walking home." Nico mumbled weakly as he moved on down the sidewalk, heading to the parking lot towards his car.
Percy was still laying on his couch when there was a striking knock at the front door. On impulse he assumed it was Nico, knowing that the boy was coming over soon. Jerking up from the seat quickly, Percy started towards the door eagerly, unable to hold his excitement about the events that were sure to unfold later that day. Pulling the door knob harsh, Percy jerked back, utterly surprised by the face that greeted him.
"Annabeth? W-What are you doing here?!" Percy's voice went a pitch higher as he roared the words out, venom seeping from the statement. He didn't want to see the girl. When he left Annabeth for Nico he didn't expect to see her again- well, he didn't expect her to be so alright with seeing him. Although Annabeth did look slightly worried and displeased.
"Percy, I have to talk to you! Right now!" Annabeth pushed pass the boy with ease, not caring about his protests. She stalked across the room purposefully before stopping at the far wall of the living room and turning back to look at Percy. They stared at each other awkwardly as though they had never seen each other before.
"Okay, Annabeth," Percy muttered before marching towards her, stopping inches from her face, "You need to leave right now. I mean Nico will be here soon. Me and him are going to spend the day together. He had to finish cleaning out the basement at his house before coming over."
"Really?" Annabeth asked with a hint of sadness, "Is that what he told you?"
Percy looked at her through half lidded eyes, watching her as a hawk would watch it's prey, "What do you mean by that?"
"Listen to me, Percy. I was at the café today and...Nico, he was there too, but he wasn't alone."
"What do you mean?!" Percy insisted, "Was he with his sister or something?"
""No, Percy...He was there with this other boy and they were...they were kissing and that other boy was sitting there feeding Nico food and it looked like they were a couple. Percy, I hate to break it to you, but I think Nico's cheating on you."
"No!" Percy automatically cried. The heat rose in his face as he defended Nico. "He would never, ever do that, Annabeth! I don't know what the fuck you think your doing, but you better not mess with me and Nico! I love him, Annabeth, and you better not say a word about him!"
"Percy, what would I have to gain from this! I like Nico! I've been trying to become friends with him, I hung out with him the other day and we talked for a while! I like Nico, a lot, but only as a friend! I would never hurt him! Not if I didn't have a reason!" Annabeth cried, slamming her hands into her sides in anger.
"Annabeth! Nico wouldn't...he...he wouldn't do that to me," Percy's voice began to fade as he was consumed by the sinking feeling in his chest. He loved Nico and didn't want anything to happen to him. He didn't want there to be any thing that would cause them to have doubt between them.
"Percy...I know how much Nico means to you. And I know how much he loves you, but he...I know what I saw in that café. Ask anyone that was there and they would tell you what happened. Him and that other boy-" Annabeth was cut off by Percy suddenly holding up his hand.
"Who was the boy? Did you know him? What did he look like?" Percy kicked at the end of the carpet with his left foot, feeling as though someone had just pierced his heart with a knife.
"I didn't know him," Annabeth whispered softly, "The boy- he had dark, curly hair and brown eyes I believe."
"Leo." Percy declared automatically, "It was Leo."
"Who's Leo-" Annabeth started to say when, suddenly, there was another knock on the door. Percy looked over at the door with fear in his eyes. He knew that it was Nico this time. He knew that his boyfriend (the cheater) was at the door. Looking back at Annabeth, Percy saw a glint of fear in her eyes as well.
"Annabeth, go out the back door, alright? I'll talk to Nico." He looked over at the girl with a depressed expression overtaking his face. Annabeth did feel sorry for the boy, but she knew that he had to know the truth. If Nico was cheating on him, Percy deserved to know.
"Alright, Percy. Just promise me you won't do anything you'll regret later on. Nico- he may have done something stupid, but it doesn't mean he can't change. Just remember that he does care about you." Annabeth muttered before heading towards the kitchen, moving towards the back door.
There was another knock on the door as Percy slumped across the living room, not particularly excited to see Nico. Pulling the door open, Percy was knocked down by Nico, who jumped at the boy lovingly, wrapping his arms around Percy's neck.
"Hi!" Nico cried as he keep hold of Percy neck, guilt still racking his heart. He wouldn't say anything about Leo or what happened. He would just pretend that nothing had happened at all. Percy didn't know what happened and as long as Nico didn't say anything, he would never know. Slipping his arms away from Percy's neck, Nico stared at him with adore, taking hold of Percy's hands tenderly. He leaned forward on his toes, pressing a kiss on the other boy's cheek, "What have you been up to all day?"
"Nothing much." Percy muttered in a monotone voice before shaking off Nico's hands. The smaller boy stared at him curiously, not understanding the problem.
"Is everything alright?" Nico asked cheerfully, trying his best to keep the worry from seeping into his words. There was a moment of silence, followed by no reply. Nico shook his head before moving back over towards Percy. He wrapped his arms around Percy's shoulders, kissing the back of the other boy's neck softly, "Come on, Percy. You can't just act like nothing's wrong. I know you. I know when something is wrong. So, what is it? Did something happen before I got here. Come on! You can tell me, Percy. I love you."
"Do you really?" Percy asked irritably. He tore away from Nico's arms, not sure if he wanted to be around the boy anymore. He just hurt all over. Percy's mind quickly flashed back to Annabeth's reaction about him being with Nico and now he understood it completely. He understood her pain and her anger. He understood how she was burning with anger and hatred. At that time he thought that she was just being a bitch, but at that moment it all made sense.
"What do you mean?!" Nico sputtered quickly, trying his best to grab hold of Percy although the boy continued to push him off, "Of course I love you! Your mine Percy and I'm yours! I love you more than you'll ever know!"
Percy let out a growl of anger, sinking his fingernails into his own palm as he clenched his hands. Nico noted this and slinked back away from the boy, afraid that Percy would hit him. A cry left Nico's lips as Percy whirled around in a flurry, grabbing the boy by his arms and shoving him back. Nico was pressed against the living room wall, Percy's lips crashing against him own. He wasn't sure what this would accomplish, but he just wanted to touch Nico, to love him. Allowing the other boy's tongue to slip between his lips, Nico let a moan coast from his throat, grabbing Percy around the neck and wrapping his fingers in his hair. Percy pressed his hands warmly against Nico side and the center of his back, pushing the boy towards him. Percy's right hand, which was sitting on Nico's back, slipped down the boy's back, sliding into the back of his jeans and squeezing the boy's ass. Nico let out another moan and pressed tighter against Percy. Suddenly, Percy jerked back away from Nico, pulling his hands away from the other boy. Nico gazed at him pitifully, not wanting it to end so soon.
"What- why did you stop?" Nico whined softly.
"Well," Percy hissed out as though the words were poisoned in his mouth, "Am I a better kisser than Leo?"
Nico's eyes widened with fear and terror, throat become dry as cotton, "How did you find out?"
Percy snorted loudly before turning on the boy, eyes gleaming with a fiery rage, "I love how you don't even fucking try to deny it! Really Nico? I didn't think you were that much of a bastard! I can't believe you!"
"It was just one kiss!" Nico insisted.
"Really? That's not what I heard!" Percy stepped towards Nico, "So all that about him sitting there feeding you and kissing on you was a lie? Right now I'm going to believe anyone else above you Nico, so when you say it was one kiss I really don't think that is true! I really don't even believe you! I doubt it was one kiss. I doubt that you stopped after one kiss! For all I know your sitting there fucking him behind my back!"
"Percy, don't be such a bitch! You know me! I wouldn't do that to you! You weren't there so you have no idea what happened! Just shut the fuck up about me cheating on you!" Nico cried bitterly.
"You know what Nico, get the fuck out." Percy's voice lowered to a whisper as he stepped away from Nico.
"Wha- what do you mean get out?" Nico's voice lowered as well, shock and sadness seeping into his words as he spoke. He wasn't sure if Percy was serious or not. He prayed that the boy was just angry and would quickly snap out of it.
"I said get the fuck out, Nico! I don't want to see you or talk to you! Just get the fuck away from me!"
"N-No! Percy just hear me out! Let me explain!" Nico surged forward, grabbing Percy's arm harshly, trying to get the boy to look at him. Automatically, Percy recoiled, shoving the boy back. Nico stumbled, falling to the ground harshly, head slamming into the floor. Nico cried out loudly, grabbing the back of his head with force, trying to wash the throbbing of his head away. Percy whirled around quickly, watching as the boy struggled to his feet, continuing to hold the back of his head.
"Nico..." Percy whispered, guilt showing through his anger. He started to reach down to the boy, holding out his hand to help the boy up. Nico looked up at him, tears glistening in the corner of his eyes, before slapping Percy hands away from him.
"I don't fucking need your god damn help! Just get away from me! You want me gone so bad than find!" Nico cried as he climbed to his feet, refusing to accept Percy help. He stumbled towards the door weakly.
"Nico, wait." Percy sighed guiltily.
"You know what, fuck you! Fuck you! If your going to treat me like that, than I'm gone! And you can go burn in hell!" Nico jaggedly pulled open the door, before stumbling out, tears beginning to fall down his cheeks.
