Danny: We're back!
Jack: With a new chapter to boot!
Me: shut up both of you. Anyway this doesn't belong to me like always and I hope you enjoy it!
In the the far depths of the Ghost Zone, a clock-tower can be seen, but only by a special few. If you are one among these, you can walk into the tower and inside you can find a very old and powerful ghost that goes by the name Clockwork, for this ghost can control all time in every dimension with a flick of his finger. Currently, you will not only see Clockwork but a humanoid entity. This divine being goes by the name Man in the Moon, or MIM for short. Contrary to popular believe, MIM does posses a body of his long hair, somewhat resembling the color of the illuminated moon, pulled back in a ponytail, beautiful blue gray eyes that reflect countless years of wisdom, and flawless pale skin, shining under the moon light. MIM's true form was something to behold. Both extremely powerful beings are staring at a strange clock shaped object that is hanging of the wall, but when looking more closely you can see that instead of a regular clock, there's an image of two seemingly identical teens.
"Clockwork, we need to change this quickly. Those two boys cannot engage in battle with Pitch Black and the Fright Knight or..." MIM states with worry laced in his words.
"I know my friend, but in the end it will happen no matter what we or they do," Clockwork warned as he turned his wise old eyes to his campaninon.
"I know Clockwork, but it isn't time yet."
"Once more, MIM I know, infact, I knew the risks this would have from the very beginnng, but for now, lets just focus on guiding them out of the trap they have fallen in without causing them to resort to violence," the time ghost said as he turned towards his attention towards the portal. MIM only nodded and focusing his attention on the portal once more, and with a n affirmative nod, both throw an object at it. This causing you to wonder how would that help the boys that seem so important to these people?
Waking up, Danny noticed that both him and Jack, were in a dark soggy dungeon, tied up and chained aganist the wall. Immediately, he began to panic, what happend? Why am I here? At that moment the memories came flooding back: they were kidnapped by a strange man, who Jack seemed to know, and by the Fright Knight. That's just great, so all this is Jack's fault. As Danny was thinking this, a groan was heard, coming from the person that Danny was just thinking of.
"Ahh, where are we?" Jack Phantom asked as he tried to stand up.
"You shouldn't-" but it was too late, for Jack fell onto the cold hard ground with a loud crack. Danny cringed at the sound of skin hitting cement. "Are you okay?"
"What do you think?" The injured boy spat as he gave the other a dry look.
"Sorry, it's just a standard question," Danny responded defensivly.
"Where are we anyway?"
"We're in a dungeon thanks to your friend,"
"That guy is not my friend and stop staring at me like it's all my fault!" the halfa yelled angrily at the Winter Spirit, "And last time I checked your 'friend' was also involved in our kidnapping!"
"I could have fought them off, if you just stayed out of the way!" The Winter Spirit also retorted angrily.
"Like you could! You were in the same position as I was in, so don't go around saying you could have handled it!" Vision clouded by fury, Jack sent a punch Danny's way but that punch never reached the other teen, for the chain that encircled Jack's wrist prevented such action.R eminding themselves that they were both imprisoned, the two white haired teens that they had to get out pronto, for they could only guess what horrors await them if their captures come back.
"Lets call a truce," both said as they tried to reach eachothers hands in a handshake. The key word in that sentence was tried because once more, due to the chains, they could not reach one another's hands. Settling for a nod, a truce was formed between the teens.
"First we have to know who we're up against," Jack insisted, "So who was the Fright Knight guy who knocked us out?"
"He's the Spirit of Halloween-"
"Hold on a moment, he's the Halloween what? But I thought MIM got rid of him..." Jack interrupted as he whispered the rest.
"Okay, now you got me confused," Danny interrupted Jack's train of thought.
"So Holiday Spirits, such as Fright Knight, are supposed to manage their holiday and bring joy to the childern that celebrate it. But from what I've heard the Fright Knight would hurt children instead of doing he's job. This then caused Halloween to be banned in some places, something MIM could not accept, so he stripped the Halloween's Spirit of his tittle." Danny slowly nodded, taking in the information. Now thinking back on it, what Jack said was true. On Halloween, there was always an increase of disappearing children and each passing year, Halloween was getting extremely dangerous to celebrate.
"Not only that, but the other guy who attacked us is Pitch Black, the bogeyman-"
"Wait, that's the bogeyman? But he doesn't exist, he's just a story parents tell their children in order for them to behave!" Danny protested. Hearing this, Jack to get a tad bit angry, it was people like him that caused spirits to feel unwanted and useless.
"Really, is hearing that the bogyman is real such a suprise?" Jack hissed, " I mean look at you, your half dead!"
"Okay I get your point, but can't I be shocked here? You just told me that the thing I was afraid of when I was a kid is real! " Danny responded with as much venom in his voice as Jack's. Still glaring at the younger teen, Jack continued explaining.
"Like I was saying, Pitch Black, the bogeyman, gets his powers from fear something the Fright Knight could provide."
"But why would they team up with each other? From what your telling me, the Fright Knight doesn't want to give up his title and because I fought him before, he would see me as a threat. But what's the deal with the bogeyman?"asked Danny in a more neutral tone.
"Revenge? World domination? Who knows, what's important to know is that Pitch will have Fearlings, the dark scary looking horses surrounding this place-"
"Ow!" yelled Danny as something hit the back of his head. Jack just rolled his eyes that is until Danny picked up the thing that was mysteriously thrown at him. Instantly, Danny's eyes widen, "Jack I know how to get out of here."
"Then please do tell," the older boy sassed not believing for a moment that the brat could come up with a way out of here.
"This is the infa-map," the ice spirit insisted as he held out the item for the other to see, "This map can take us anywhere in the Ghost Zone with just one word. All we need to know is where we want to go."
"So what are we waiting for? Let's hurry up and use this! Freedom, here we come!" The moment in which both sets of hands were on the map, the map set off towards its destination.
Inside the Halloween Mansion, the master of the manor felt a massive amount of energy leave the area. Turning towards his alias he wondered if Pitch Black also felt it.
"Don't worry Fright Knight, I know the two boys escaped but just think of it as... A way that well, prevents them from getting in our way," the bogeyman nonchalantly spoke with a sly smile etched on his face. The knight of Hallow's Eve was about to question the other Spirit's thinking but stopped, his partner in crime was an extremely intellegent being and would most likely know what he was doing. "Old friend, don't worry so much everything is falling into place."
