Chapter 8
As soon they stepped outside of the chamber, it was morning of the next day "Hard to believe that we just spent one year in this room but only a day has passed out here. It stills blows my mind." said Diego
"Yeah, hard to believe huh. And not only that, our bodies are a year older too." responded Gohan. They both were walking down the hallway when they came across Mr. Popo
"Welcome back you two." said the genie now standing in front of them. Every time Diego looked at Mr. Popo felt uneasy. Just because he didn't exactly knew the genie's exact age but he easily brushes it off "Oh hey there Mr. Popo, who is it doing?"
"Everything is fine, young Diego." responded the guardian's long time assistant. He noticed the very poor conditions their clothing was "Oh boy, it seems that you two need a new set of clothing."
Gohan and Diego nervously laughed as they looked down at themselves and indeed they needed new clothes "Hehe I can't say we don't." responded Diego "Let me bring you something." said Mr. Popo
"No need for it." said Piccolo who came around the corner with Dende beside him "Good to see you two." Dende greeted them
"Hey Mr. Piccolo and Dende." greeted Gohan "Hey there, Piccolo and Dende." greeted back Diego
Piccolo extended his arm and his hand started to glow white and then it fired at both Diego and Gohan covering them entirely. The glow went off and it revealed both Diego and Gohan in a new set of clothes. The same set, but new now. You know. Yeah.
They both looked at themselves and noticed that their clothes were repaired "You gotta teach me how to do that." said Diego looking down at himself
"Thanks Mr. Piccolo." said Gohan " I can sense that you two have made an improvement. Especially you Gohan. Ever since you stopped training seven years ago, you became soft." said Piccolo with a straight serious face making Gohan blush in embarrassment
Diego threw his arm around Gohan "Hey cut him some slack Piccolo, he wasn't obligated to keep training. Though I do agree that he should of trained at least just a bit." said Diego as he took his arm off from Gohan and lightly elbowed him on the ribs after saying the last thing.
Piccolo gave Diego a very hard and serious look "Hmph. You get comfortable with everyone so fast." referring to the way Diego addressed him. Diego looked at him with a nervous smile "That's just how I am haha."
"I guess we should go now. Mom most be worried." said Gohan as they started to walk to the edge of the floating temple. Diego turned to Piccolo "Hey Piccolo, mind if I ask for a favor?" asked Diego looking up at the tall Namekian
Piccolo looked at him wondering what was his favor "What is it?" asked Piccolo "Can you give me heavy clothing? You know, like your turban and cape?" asked Diego. Gohan was wondering why he wanted weighted clothing. Piccolo kept looking at him "How heavy do you want them?" asked Piccolo
"Uhhh... How about ten tons? Sounds like a lot but it will be a great workout." said Diego making Gohan's eyes almost popped out of his sockets at the weight Diego wanted "Are you sure?" asked Piccolo
"Yeah, I want ten tons. Let me just raise my power a bit so it doesn't crush me from the start." said Diego as he concentrated some power all around his body "Okay, ready." said Diego as Piccolo raised his hand and shot Diego with the same light as earlier when he fixed their dogi. Cracks formed where Diego stood as of result of the weight
He had the same gi, only difference was that the undershirt, wristbands, and boots were modified to weight ten tons altogether "Well, that certainly is heavy." said Diego struggling but not as much and now was standing straight up "Thanks Piccolo." said Diego receiving a nob from the tall Namekian
He then tried to walk to where Gohan was but was struggling a little bit due to the weight on his boots "This will take a while to get use to." he said
Gohan chuckled lightly at the sight of Diego struggling to walk "Alright, lets go home. Goodbye Mr. Piccolo, Dende!" said Gohan as he lift off in the air and Diego waving at the two Namekians and genie before flying off.
10 minutes passed making their way back to the Son's household "Even though I know that just a day has passed, feels like I haven't seen Mom and Goten for a long time." said Gohan looking at Diego who was struggling just a little bit on the air due to the weighted gear "W-well yeah, it has been a year for us. That's why it feels like a long time." said Diego
"Having problems there?" asked Gohan with a sarcastic tone "None that I can't handle, thank you." responded Diego. He then looked up ahead and the house was now visible, but there was something else besides it "Hey, is that a jetcopter next to your house?" asked Diego
Gohan looked up ahead and noticed the vehicle as well "You are right. I wonder who can that be?" asked Gohan out loud and then it downed on Diego "Oh, I think I know who that is..." he said now both descending from the skies. Three figures came visible as they landed just a few feet away
"Tell me the truth! You really came here to ask my son in a date, didn't you?! I have already told you yesterday that it ain't happening!" Diego and Gohan heard Chichi angrily asking Videl who stood with both her hands balled into fits on her hips
"And I tell you that is not that!" angrily responded Videl
Chichi then saw the boys now walking towards them and her look softened just a little bit. Videl noted this and looked behind her to see both Gohan and Diego walking towards them "Yo!" Diego said
"You are back!" shouted Goten in excitement "Welcome back." said Chichi
Gohan walked up to Videl who had a displeased look on her face "Hey Videl, I'm sorry I wasn't here yesterday for the training I promised you. Me and Diego had to go somewhere at the last minute." said Gohan "By the way, how did you find this place?" asked Gohan scratching the back of his head
She looked away with a proud like look on her face "It was easy to find after I looked at the name board." she said with a smirk.
A sweat dropped on the side of Gohan's head "Right..." he responded
She looked back at him with an angry expression on her face "But how dare you skip school like that? I came looking for you yesterday and your mother told me you weren't going to come back until today. At first thought that you ran away and I almost went to the press and revealed your identity as Saiyaman." said Videl as Diego walked to where they were and heard everything
Gohan nearly lost his balance and nervously laughed "Chill, why you gotta be like that? We are here today aren't we?" said Diego "Look, we will both teach you how to fly so you can learn faster, how about that?" said Diego ruffling his own already messy hair
Videl looked at Diego with a confused look scanning him "And you are...?" asked Videl making Diego comically fell over. He stood up again and dusted himself off a little bit and looked at Videl again who still had her confused look adorning her face
"I can't believe you forgot about me that fast. I feel hurt. It's me, Diego." he said as Videl simply looked at him "Hmph, you look better with short hair." said Videl coldly
A sweat dropped at the side of Diego's head "Nice to you too." he said sarcastically as Gohan lightly chuckled "So, when do we start?" asked Videl in a impatience voice
"W-we can start right away." responded Gohan "Yeah, we got nothing better to do I guess." said Diego in a boring tone
And just before they left, Diego looked back at Goten "Hey Goten, why don't you come with us? I can teach you how to fly as well!" called Diego as Goten's face lighted up in excitement
He looked up at his Mom "'Can I go mom?" he asked Chichi for permission and she simply nodded with a warm smile on her face "Yaayyy!" shouted Goten jumping his way to where the three teens where.
They went to a secluded place where they couldn't get distracted. They are in the mountain, what can distract them besides animals right? Anyways, there stood in the middle of a field with a few trees around them and some boulders as well.
"Okay," said Gohan "To be honest, I have never been a good teacher about this stuff. But I will tell you what I know. I will teach you the Buku-Jutsu. In other words, how to fly." continued Gohan looking at Goten, who had a big smile on his face, and Videl, who kept looking at him with a serious look. "This is just a matter of ki control so it is not that hard." he said.
Videl's look hardened a little bit making Gohan startled a little bit "However, flying at high speeds it's much harder." he said
"Control your Ki? Hey, what's Ki?" Videl asked making Gohan wondering how he should explain what ki is to Videl when all of the sudden Diego jumped in
"I will take it from here." said Diego walking towards Videl "Ki is what you guys would call Chi. It's the hidden energy or power, for that matter, in your body. For example," he said as he raised his hand and created a ki ball of the size of a baseball "This is ki, and I can make it do this." he said as he launched the ball toward a huge rock nearby destroying it by blowing it to pieces
Videl's eyes looked like they almost popped out of her head impressed by the demonstration of this so called 'Ki'. Gohan then looked at Videl with a smile "That's what we call ki." said Gohan
"I see..." said Videl still bewildered "What do you guys call this?" asked Gohan making Videl think "A trick." she responded
"'I can assure you this ain't no trick." said Diego making Videl to look at him "Why didn't you say that from the beginning? I don't know anything about this power you call 'ki'" angrily said Videl.
Diego looked at Gohan "Look, I knew she didn't know what ki was. Why don't you teach her how to control her ki and then teach her how to fly. I, in the other hand, will teach Goten how to fly ever since he already knows how to control it. How does that sound?" said Diego
"Sounds good for me." responded Gohan "Alright, you two stay here and I will take Goten somewhere else so we don't bother ya." said Diego with a grin poking Gohan's ribs with his elbow making Gohan blush and confusing Videl on what Diego meant.
"Alright Goten, lets go somewhere else and leave this two over here to their thing." said Diego neraly laughing "Shut it Diego! It isn't like that!" both Videl and Gohan said in unison and they both looked at each other and looked away with a small blush in their face.
"See you guys later!" said Diego dashing away with Goten following him. Gohan sat down on the ground with his legs crossed and Videl following "Okay, first thing we need to do is..."

Jedi Master Albus: This is a really good story. I do think that Diego became stronger too quickly but that's just me and you could put that down to the dimension travel or something. I do hope Gohan is the strongest again and at least his fighting sense should be back. I'm not counting Goku with his SSJ3 because he is still dead.

Thank you! It is true I am making Diego too strong too fast but I have something planned to cover that already so keep your eye for it. Also, it will be very likely for Goku to use his SSJ3 since I'm technically following the canon but with a few differences I have planned ahead as well.
