Reiben soon rushed over with a medic by his side. Immediately, the medic set to work. Donnie continued to administer CPR. The ranger rubbed his helmet nervously, stuttering his feet. A gasp erupted from Miller's chest as he began to breath. Donnie held him down as he tried to sit up.

"Calm down," she spoke while beaming, "Ya gotta let the doc do his work."

He nodded while looking over to the foreign person. Donnie's ears perked up as she heard a yell of some sort. She stood up and jogged away from Miller, leaving Reiben to take her place. Her gaze shot around the rubble until they landed on Jo and Mellish. With a new burst of energy, she rushed over and embraced the auburn. After a moment she held her at arms length.

"Are you okay?" she questioned worriedly.

She picked up Jo's elbow and looked underneath. She proceeded to poke her stomach. Jo grabbed Donnie by the hands.

"I'm fine." She turned to Mellish. "This is what I was talking about."

He smirked. Donnie spun around.

"Find the girls, Jo. Mellish?"

"Yes sir?"

"Miller, Reiben, and Ryan are back there. The Cap's alright."

His gaze moved passed her as he saw the three people. He rushed over to them.

The five girls stood next to a stable building. Donnie worriedly checked over her crew. Bo's left arm had been hung in a sling. Montie had dry blood on her face from a medium-sized cut. Jack's hair and clothing were wrinkled and out of place. Jo and Donnie were covered in dirt. The auburn started chuckling.

"Well, don't we look handsome," she drawled.

The rest of them burst into chuckles. After a moment, they quieted down. Their expressions became concerned.

"How many of our boys made it?" Bo questioned the brunette.

"All seven. Miller's still recovering from almost dying. Horvath got one right in the ass. Jackson's a little scraped up, but, other than that, they're fine."

Montie felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to see one of the reinforcements. He handed her an envelope. The dirty blonde quickly unfolded it. The other four waited with baited breath.

"We've been recalled," she muttered. "We've been recalled!"

"Woah, what's that mean?" Jack spoke quickly.

"We're going with Ryan," explained Donnie, "We're going home."

Jo sprinted away suddenly. The other four watched her as she jumped into Mellish's arms. The two embraced each other for a long time. Donnie slowly turned to the other three.

"We should probably say goodbye."

They nodded in agreement as they headed over to the seven men. By this time, Jo was merely holding Mellish's arm. His gaze met the other four women's eyes.

"Is it true, you guys are really leaving?" he asked softly.

Donnie glanced around to see the other six staring at her, awaiting the answer. Slowly, she nodded.

"We just got the orders. We ship out with Ryan."

"So this is goodbye?" an uneasy Upham whined.

Bo smirked as she moved to stand next to him. The two shared a sympathetic glance.

"Just for now," she paused, "If we don't start sayin' goodbye now, we'll never get outta this damn hell hole."

The group chuckled. Jack rushed over to her brother and hugged him close. After a moment, she went to her brother's right and hugged Reiben. Catching on, Montie went over and hugged Jackson.

"You saved my life today," he whispered, "Thank you."

She kissed his cheek before going down the line. Bo followed Montie. Jo followed Bo. Donnie gave Jackson a hug. She smirked at Reiben. He smirked back.

"Don't get into trouble, Sweetheart," he quipped.

"I won't if you won't, hot shot."

She then continued to give Horvath a hug. The brunette proceeded to give Miller a gentle hug, avoiding his shoulder. She embraced Upham, and finally Mellish. When she had finished, she faced all six of them.

"I can't seem to put a word to our experience, serving with you men...It was unique, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. We'll see you on the home front."

Donnie clicked her heels together and saluted the men. The four girls and Ryan quickly followed suit. Horvath nodded a thanks, while Miller blinked to keep tears in. The saluting six released their position, and walked away.

Oh my goodness gracious! One more chapter left! I realize this chapter is probably the shortest one so far, but I didn't want to drag on. Thank you all who have read my story! I hope you enjoyed it, even though I tweaked some things. Stay lovely!
