Here's another one, gang! This is based off the Pucca episode "Prince Not-So-Charming", only the guy who plays Lazlo (The boy who falls for Pucca in this episode, in case you all haven't seen it) is not Drew, but Brendan, and for those of you who have watched Pucca before, I'm sure you know how it always is with Pucca. Pucca chasing Garu, Garu not liking it, BUT the other MAJOR difference between this one-shot and that episode is that May and Drew actually are a real couple, with the feeling being mutual between them, but Brendan is still adamant on winning May over, and it seems that Drew, catching on to his scheme, tries to sabotage Brendan's plans rather than helping Brendan win May over.
May was wearing a pink bikini, and was sitting on a beach blanket in the sand, on the beach. She was smiling, and the beach breezes blowing in her hair. There was a Beautifly sitting next to her, and she was also enjoying the sea breeze.
"Nice and peaceful..." May said. "Hey, Beautifly, how about some Contest practice?"
"Beau!" Beautifly said, flapping her wings in delight.
"Let's start!" May said, as she stood up with Beautifly flying around her head.
However, her plans were interrupted when a large ocean liner came charging through the waters, and it docked at the pier nearby.
Soon, a bunch of girls wearing identical shirts were running by May, and then May, curious, told her Beautifly, "Let's go see what's going on."
May then ran over to the pier, with Beautifly in tow, and then she tapped one of the girls on the shoulder before asking, "Excuse me, what's all the ruckus about?"
"It's Brendan Birch! He's super famous!" The girl said, showing May the face on her shirt. The face was a boy with white hair, wearing a band of sorts on his head.
"I've never heard his name before. What is he famous for, exactly?" May inquired.
"...Now that I think about it, just his wealth. But he's handsome, rich, and very famous!" The girl said, before jumping up and down.
'Typical…' May thought. Beautifly sensed this, and also got a little annoyed.
A board then came down onto the dock, and then an older gentleman, dressed in a suit came out, before taking out a remote control and pressing a button. Soon, a few large speakers then rose up above the boat, and started blaring out loud pop music. May covered her ears while Beautifly lowered her antennae to avoid the noises.
"Beautifly, return!" May said, putting Beautifly back in her Poke Ball, while putting in some earplugs to make sure the music would not hurt her ears. "That's better…"
A few bodyguards came on top of the boat, and then a helicopter came above, amongst some fireworks. There was a boy on a rope, and then he came down while on the platform tied to the rope, and then he turned to the crowd of girls, while wearing some sunglasses; he was the boy on the girls' shirt.
The girls then started screaming and squealing at the sight of the boy and were pretty much going gaga. May then went off to the side, and then decided to stay out of the crowd before the boy started to come down the plank, while the butler took out a pen and booklet, while saying, "Names and numbers in Alphabetical order, ladies..."
Brendan took off his sunglasses, and then came down the plank, then came into the crowd of girls, but as he was looking around, there was one girl who stood out amongst the crowd. He saw her out of the corner of his eye, which caused him gasp with shock, and turn his head in her direction. That girl... Was May, who was merely looking at the scene, seemingly uninterested.
"Now, she's a visual beauty!" Brendan said. "She makes me... Want to dance!"
The girls then started going gaga over Brendan as he broke out into a break dance and started doing spins, splits, etc., while May seemingly took notice of it, and started to smile a little bit. Brendan then did a dance move by pointing at May first, before closing his fist with his palm facing up, motioning for May to come at him.
May seemed to take the hint; she gasped lightly, and then started to run at him...
"I knew it! She can't resist!" Brendan said, as he stopped dancing, and held his arms out for May to run into.
"Out of the way!" May said, as she shoved Brendan aside, causing him to fall on his face, and May kept running. "Drew!"
A boy with green hair and green eyes, wearing green swim trunks, then noticed May, and then May ran in to his arms, and Drew was happy to see her, while he hugged her, and said, "Hey, there, May!"
As the butler then picked Brendan up and started to dust him off, Brendan, with a black eye, and covered in dust, told him, "Jarvis, that shy creature… I want to be crushed in her sweet embrace!"
It was clear that Brendan was pretty infatuated with May.
Later, Drew was on a rowboat in the middle of the ocean, and then he saw some bubbles nearby. May came up out of the water, with her Wartortle, and she said, "Hey, Drew!"
"May, how are you doing?" Drew asked, as he came over to the side of the boat.
"I'm doing fine. Just swimming with my Wartortle," May said, as she rubbed Wartortle's head. "It certainly can't get enough of doing water performances for our Contests."
"Wartortle really has come a long way since it was just a little Squirtle," Drew said, talking to May. "I haven't seen it crying since… Well, since before it evolved."
"Brock used to tell me that Pokemon mature through battle, and can undergo major personality changes through evolution, and Wartortle's lack of tears is a great example." May said, smiling.
However, Brendan's cruise ship tore through the water, causing it to become rougher, and then a wave form the boat separated May and Drew.
"May!" Drew shouted, as the wave from the other side soon pushed his boat away.
"Drew!" May shouted, as she hung on to Wartortle.
Soon, she felt something grab her by the back of her bikini top, and then May found herself launched out of the water and she landed on something hard, mainly the deck of the boat.
"Ugh… Wartortle, are you okay?" May asked.
"Wartortle!" Wartortle said, rubbing its shell, without any tears.
"Return." May said, putting Wartortle back in its Poke Ball.
A hand soon came out to May, and she looked up to see Brendan, flashing a smile. May got up by herself, and then looked at Brendan, fairly annoyed.
"I'm sure you know who I am, right?" Brendan said, as he handed her his photograph. "You must have seen my picture."
May snatched the picture, and ripped it to shreds without saying a word. She then threw the shreds back in Brendan's face while saying, "That's why you brought me up here?"
"Hm… I can tell you're upset." Brendan said. He then noticed the girls behind him, on the deck's pool, in the lounge chairs, and everything.
"Yeah, with all of those other girls there, why bring me?" May inquired, clearly upset.
"Those girls… They mean nothing to me." Brendan said. He then clapped his hands, and all of a sudden, the deck opened up, and all the girls fell in, before being shot out of a cannon on the boat, and into the ocean.
May ran over to the side of the railing and looked at the scene of al the girls falling into the water before asking, "Wasn't that a bit excessive?"
Brendan then spun over, and then said, "You see?"
He got on one knee, and told May, who was looking at him with a cocked eyebrow, "I only have room in my heart for you!"
"Excuse me?" May inquired, with an unimpressed look on her face.
"Are you feeling the energy between us, my Pecha berry blossom?" Brendan asked, with a flirty smile and a glint in his eye.
May sighed, and then she took out a Poke Ball, and said, "Venusaur!"
She let her Venusaur out of its ball, and then May asked it, "Mind throwing this guy off the boat with your Vine Whip?"
Brendan turned to stone when he heard this, and then Venusaur wrapped him in her vines before tossing him off the ship with a lot of force.
"Ahhhh!" Brendan shouted, as he was heading for the beach.
Meanwhile, on the beach, Drew had to run his rowboat aground, and then he looked at the ocean water, in concern.
"I hope she's okay…" Drew said, sad.
However, he noticed Brendan coming at him from the air, and Drew ducked out of the way while Brendan landed head-first into the sand.
Brendan then got up, and shook the sand off, while groaning in pain.
"So, May is really shy," Brendan said. "Now, I'm even more determined to win her over!"
Drew then got out of the sand, as he heard this. He got really upset when he heard when Brendan was up to, and then thought, 'So, trying to get a girl who has a boyfriend, huh?! Not if I have anything to say about it!'
"Jarvis, I need to think." Brendan said, before clapping his hands.
Drew saw Jarvis, on a parachute, coming down, and then he ducked out of the way again. Jarvis landed, and then turned on a stereo that he had.
As the music played, Brendan started… Dancing. Drew was not very impressed. He sweat dropped, thinking, 'THAT'S thinking?!'
Drew then went over to Jarvis, snatched the stereo, much to the butler's shock, and then not only did Drew turn the music off, he sent out his Flygon and had the stereo burned with Flamethrower.
"Good work, Flygon. Return," Drew said, putting his Dragon-type back in its ball. "What's the big idea?!"
"Pardon?" Brendan asked.
Drew approached Brendan, and grabbed him by the front of his shirt, and then said, "So, you're trying to win May over, huh?! Fat chance of that happening!"
Jarvis was about to call the bodyguards, when Brendan stopped his butler before asking Drew, "Why won't it happen?"
Drew then let go, and calmed down before saying, "Has it occurred to you that maybe she already has a boyfriend?"
Brendan then thought about it, and said, "Actually, no, it hasn't."
Drew sweat dropped, and thought, 'Ladykiller, much? It doesn't seem to matter to him.'
"Well… Hypothetically speaking, would you back off if she did?" Drew inquired.
"No, I wouldn't! Not if I really like her!" Brendan said.
'Crap… This guy won't give up on May… So, I'll just have to sabotage his plans.' Drew thought, a smirk coming to his face.
"By the way, you seem to know May pretty well," Brendan said. "You wouldn't happen to be her boyfriend, would you?"
"No, no, I'm not," Drew lied. "But I happen to know her quite well. Stick with me, pal, and you'll win her over."
"You'll help me?" Brendan asked.
Drew nodded with a smirk on his face, thinking, 'I know May's not going to like this guy's advances. She's never been one for the 'rich, pretty boy' type kind of guy, anyway.'
Around an hour later, Drew was walking in the woods, his back turned, when May soon met up with him.
"Drew!" May said, happily, as she ran into Drew's arms, and hugged him while rubbing his chest with her face, giggling. She then gave Drew a peck on the cheek, with her eyes closed, and she was smiling.
However, her nose soon told her that this boy was not Drew; he had a distinct cologne that smell of roses, but this boy was not wearing cologne.
"See?" Brendan said, as he revealed to be wearing some of Drew's clothes and a green-haired wig. "I can be anything and everything you could want! I can even be someone else."
Brendan flashed her another flirty smile and fluttered his eyebrows, while May sweat dropped, going green in the face, while thinking, 'Ew… Gross.'
The real Drew, meanwhile, was hiding in some nearby bushes, and silently snickering at the situation. May totally knew that Brendan was only masquerading as Drew, and Drew, knowing that May was certain to turn him down, was trying his best to keep himself from laughing out loud and blowing his cover.
~Flashback - Around Thirty Minutes Ago~
Drew had brought Brendan to a flower garden, and then picked a red salvia flower, before giving it to Brendan. Drew then told Brendan, "May's favorite flowers are red salvias. Give her a bouquet of these and you're sure to win her over."
"Thanks!" Brendan said.
Drew then thought, 'Hehehe… Oh, MAN, is Brendan in for a surprise! Little does he know that I lied; May is actually allergic to red salvia.'
~End of Flashback!~
'I know putting May through this won't be fun for her, but at least it will get Brendan to back off… I hope.' Drew thought, with some regret.
May's stomach settled a little bit, and then Brendan then turned to May, and gave her a flower bouquet, before saying, "These are for you."
May took the bouquet, and then she started to cough a bit, and her nose got itchy; she asked, "There wouldn't happen to be any red salvia in here, would there?"
"That's all that's in that bouquet," Brendan said. "Like them?"
May threw the flowers on the ground, before backing away. Her nose started turning red and she kept sneezing before saying, "I'm allergic to red salvia!"
"What?! I didn't know!" Brendan said, as he approached May, to try to help her.
"Skitty!" May said, as she got her Skitty out. "Heal Bell!"
Skitty lifted her tail and started waving it around; it was glowing with a light blue, sparkling aura, and then it surrounded May, who stopped sneezing, and her color turned back to normal.
"Good work, Skitty…" May said, breathing, as she put her Skitty back in its ball.
"I'm so sorry!" Brendan said, as he helped May up. "I had no idea…"
May was still miffed, but then she smiled mischievously. She took Brendan's hand, and said, "Follow me!"
Drew looked out from the bushes, surprised, and then decided to silently follow them.
"You're finally coming around!" Brendan said, as May then pushed some leaves away and let Brendan go in first. "I see romance in the future…"
However, Brendan sweat dropped when he saw that he was actually led… Into an Ursaring nest.
"J-J-J-JARVIS!" Brendan shouted, as the Ursaring beat him up while May cheerfully walked away.
The Ursaring then threw Brendan out of their territory, into the air… Literally.
Drew could not help but laugh so hard that he went red in the face. He managed to breath long enough to go over to May, who was looking at him in mild shock.
"Drew? What are you doing here?" May asked.
Drew wiped a tear of laughter from his eye before saying, "Sorry about having to put you through your allergy again, May, but I was only trying to sabotage that Brendan's advances."
"Pardon?" May asked, a little surprised.
"Well, I overheard that Brendan wanted to win you over, but he hasn't a clue that you have a boyfriend. So, I decided that instead of picking a fight with him, I thought I'd deliberately mess up his advances on you. It's kinda clear that you don't like him, do you?" Drew said.
"I see…" May said, a little upset with Drew. "I understand, Drew. And you're right; I don't feel that way about him."
Drew then hugged May, and said, "I'm sorry…"
May started to shed some tears as she was cradled in Drew's arms.
Meanwhile, Brendan literally crashed through the roof of May's house, and into May's bedroom. He landed on the bed, and as soon as he got his senses back under control, he noticed where he was, and he was very surprised at what he was seeing.
"I don't believe this…" Brendan said, as he saw some photographs of May in her Contests, and with her Pokemon, and was clearly infatuated. "I'm in my true love's bedroom!"
However, he started to see other photographs: ones with May and Drew together. There was a photograph of May and Drew on their first date; one photograph was of May and Drew in their beachwear; one was of May with Drew when she got her first Ribbon Cup; finally, there was a red rose necklace on the vanity with a card that said, 'To my blossoming rosebud - Your boyfriend, Drew'
As soon as Brendan saw this, he remembered what Drew had told him about knowing May very well, and how he lied about not being her boyfriend.
~Flashback~
Drew approached Brendan, and grabbed him by the front of his shirt, and then said, "So, you're trying to win May over, huh?! Fat chance of that happening!"
Drew then let go, and calmed down before saying, "Has it occurred to you that maybe she already has a boyfriend?"

"NOW I get it!" Brendan said, angrily.
He snapped his fingers, and then out of nowhere, Jarvis came out from hiding and said, "It's about time, Master."
Jarvis turned the stereo on and then Brendan started jumping dancing on the floor, and then he did a split before saying, "In order to win May over, I need to get rid of the other man in her life!"
Brendan then threw the photograph of May and Drew in their beachwear onto the floor, smashing the glass, and then Brendan smiled evilly.
The next day, Drew was training with his Pokemon for their Contests.
"Oh, Drew!" May's voice called.
Drew turned around, and then saw no one, but he shrugged, before saying, "May? Is that you?"
"Drew!" May's voice called once again, and then Drew started looking around, looking for May.
"May, come on out! There's no need to play around! Or are you still upset about yesterday?" Drew called out.
"Over here, Drew!" May said, coming from a bush nearby.
"Now, come on, May, there's no need to hide," Drew said, as he came over to the bush. "Just because I tried keeping that Brendan away from - AAH!"
Drew was then pulled into the bush, and soon found himself locked in a cage.
"Huh - what?! What's going on?!" Drew demanded, as he tried banging on the cage to break free.
"This is payback for being a liar!" Brendan said, as he came over to the cage.
Drew saw a tape recorder in Brendan's hand, and then Drew clued in, before saying, "You found out, huh?"
"Yeah! You really shouldn't have lied to me like that about your relationship with May, or deliberately put her through that allergy of hers," Brendan said, with a scoff. "Because a real boyfriend wouldn't manipulate others like that just to keep his girl, would he?"
Drew knew Brendan was right.
Drew then found himself being boxed up in larger crates, like a nested doll, and then he found himself being airlifted to places he had no idea. He was being shaken around like a pinball in a ball machine, and he felt like he had gotten a concussion in one or two places.
Soon, there was a large thud, and then the crates opened up to reveal that Drew was transported to another island who-knows-where. Drew was in complete and utter shock.
"No… Now… I'll never see her again!" Drew wailed, before falling to his knees, and seeing May's face in the water, before beginning to cry.
Later, May was at Drew's house, and she was knocking on his door quite heavily. It first started with a few light knocks, then May banged her fist on the door, and then she rang the doorbell excessively.
Brendan was watching from the bushes, and he snickered lightly while thinking, 'Now's my chance! Now I can really make her mine!'
May was looking at the house in concern.
"I'd better call him." May said, as she got out her phone.
Brendan then slid on his knees, and took May's hand, causing her to look at him, before saying, "Don't bother with Drew. I've made sure that he won't be in our way again."
"Beg your pardon?!" May said, as she took her hand away from Brendan, and gasped in shock, with tears in her eyes.
"From now and forever, it's just the two of us," Brendan said, with a flirty smile. "Shall we seal the deal with a kiss?"
Brendan walked a little bit closer, and then May looked at him for a few seconds, before leaning in, with her lips puckered.
Brendan gasped happily, and closed his eyes while mirroring May's actions; he was convinced he had finally won her over.
However, Jarvis, who was playing a violin, interrupted by saying, "Master…"
"Jarvis, you're ruining the moment!" Brendan shouted, before turning back to May, only to see she had a seriously ticked look on her face, and a Poke Ball in hand.
"Blaziken!" May shouted, seriously angry with Brendan, as she sent her Blaziken out of its ball.
Brendan started to freak out, and then he started to back away.
"This is for hurting my boyfriend!" May shouted. "Blaziken, use Blaze Kick and send him flying!"
Blaziken's legs then started flaring up with fire, and then it used its left leg, and kicked Brendan so hard that he was shot all the way into a tree. Somehow, he bent the tree, and it soon sprung back, sending him flying. He hit a mountain, and fell a few hills down, and then he ended up landing on a Skiddo's horns before falling into a nearby volcano. It erupted, and sent Brendan flying into the ocean, and then he literally skipped a few times across the water before landing in the pool on his boat, finally getting some relief.
After all of Brendan's wounds were treated, Jarvis had a crane picking up all the girls he had launched into the water earlier.
"Oh, Jarvis… I'll never know love like this again…" Brendan said, crying out of a broken heart.
"I'll keep these ones below, just to be safe, Master." Jarvis said, as the boat started to leave.
Meanwhile, on the island that Drew was on, he was still sulking and tears were in his eyes. He then had an idea: he could just ride his Flygon to get off the island. Drew reached for his Poke Balls, only for him to realize his left all of his Poke Balls at his house… And all of his Pokemon were still there.
"Oh, NOW what do I do?" Drew said.
"Drew!" May shouted, from above. Drew looked up, and saw May was flying on Drew's Flygon, and coming down.
"May! You found me!" Drew said, happily.
"I went back to your house and saw all of your Pokemon were out of their balls, so I not only put them back, but I decided to ride your Flygon to find you." May explained, while petting Flygon.
"Wow! You and Flygon trusted each other enough to fly and find me…" Drew said. He then hugged May with a huge smile and blush. "You're amazing, May!"
"Oh, Drew!" May said, blushing, and smiling happily.
They then shared a kiss while still standing on the sand, much to Flygon's pleasure.
How was that? I know this one is probably a bit cheesy, but sometimes it works, doesn't it? Okay, I hope you liked it. And yes, I portrayed Brendan a bit negatively, but if you've seen the aforementioned Pucca episode, I'm sure you know why.
